Calculated Field formula not appearing in Power View Field List panel
Hi,
On Power View1 sheet of this
workbook, the two PowerPivot calculated Field formulas (First Visit and First date of FY) are not appearing in the Power View Fields panel on the right hand side.
I want to drag client and First Visit (calculated Field) to the Power View.
Why is this happening?

I found a workaround for it - I was having the same problem as you. I wanted to display the last refresh date of my data, but Power View wouldn't display a date resulting from the [Last Refresh]=MAX(Date[Date]) formula.
HOWEVER, a Pivot Table can handle that Calculated field just fine. So I renamed my measure "Refreshed Date" and added another tab in the Excel Sheet. I added a Pivot Table from PowerPivot into cell A1 and the only thing I put was that single
measure (A2). To the right of that, I did =A2 and created an Excel Data Table. The title of that was "Last Refresh". Now, I could add that Data Table to the PowerPivot Model and into Power View. And then I hid that tab.
The only downside to this method, is that if you're refreshing single tables at a time, you have to remember to refresh the Pivot Table when new data is added AND update the data in the model. I'm only connecting to one database, so I just choose
"Refresh All" in Excel and it updates everything. It works perfectly! :)
Well shoot, I even took a screenshot that helped explain everything, but it won't let me post it because my account isn't verified and it won't tell me how. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll clarify!

The field selection is controled at Vendor accounting group.
For Vendor account group (std 0001) , the field Plant in additional Pur data is supressed whereas for accounting group 0007 this field is activated.
Please rfer the following path to activate the field
SPRO--> Financial accounting --> Account receible and Payable --> vendor accounts --> Master data --> Prepataions for creating vendor master data --> Define account groups with screen layout
Select the Vendor account group and go to Purchase org data and change the Plant filed option.
Or create teh Vendor under accounting group Plant (0007 std)

In the F-02 T.Code we cannot find the profit centre for customer line item. We have to attach the profit centre for the other line item i.e income gl account. Due to document splitting system will derive the profit centre and we can see the profit centre for the both line items under General Ledger view.

Fcx4 bin clips are not appearing in the viewer after clicking on them.
fcx4 bin clips are not appearing in the viewer after clicking on them , i need help getting them to appear in the viewer.
I have the same issue. I am using apex.oracle.com for some test applications, but for last couple of weeks when I login and click the "Application builder" I could not see my applications there (around 4-5 of them)! It says No applications found.
Neither I have any application groups setup nor do any criteria given in "Application" search field under "Application builder".
The only way I could access some, if not all, of my applications is to pull it from the link under the context box "Recent" (which you can see in the right hand side of the "Application builder" page.)
Any help is greatly appreciated. This issue is not a show stopper as I could still pull out my critical applications from the recent link, but its definitely a worrisome issue.

Tax classification fields are not appeared in master data
Dear Experts,
I searched the forum about my issue but i did not get any solution.
I am not able to see the tax classification fields in customer master and material master.Even i assigned Country IN to JLST and JCST condition types by T-code OVK1.
FYI
I have copied the org elements from standard (which are already given by default).Initially i was able to see 2 different countries with tax MWST in both customer master and material master.
EX:
AT MWST
DE MWST
But i do not wanted these. so i deleted these assignment from OVK1 and assigned country IN to JLST and JCST,and i went to customer master and material master but those fields are not appeared.
Note:Country of plant,company code and sales organizations is IN
Help me to view tax classification fields in Master data.

In customer master, under the Taxes tab, it would be like
Country::::Name:::::Tax Cat.::::Description::::Tax Classification
While creating customer master, if your configuration is in line with standard, then under the tab Tax category, you can see MWST flowing automatically. You just have to input tax classification as 1, 2 etc.,
Also since as you said above, you are maintaining the combination of country/plant region/customer region/customer tax classification/material tax classification, you can very well differentiate VAT & CST.
Wherever customer region comes as your plant region, assign VAT tax code and wherever, customer region differs from plant region, assign CST tax code in VK11.

Custom fields are not appearing in BP

My requirement is to add a new fields in Business partner(TCode:BP). For this I have created a new tab using Business data tool set by following every step. I have regenerated the screens also(using Tcode:BUSP). But after executing the transaction I am able to see the tab but not the fields. Fields are not appearing in the tab. What might be the reason?? Kindly clarify me.

SSI do not appear in design view; CS4
All of a sudden.. my ssi's do not appear in design view in CS4. This is occuring in multiple web sites that prevously DID display SSI's
Yes.. I do have Preverances --> Invisible Elements --> Server Sides Includes: Show contents of include file IS checked
Yes.. I have checked both the local and remote information in Site definitions .. all are correct. (and none have changed since the problem emerged) All sites are set to site root relative.
Yes.. I have checked each include. None has any doc type, html or body tags.

After inserting a new SSI using the insert menu (typical code result: <!--#include virtual="/redesign/includes/quickClicks.htm" -->) the properties bar seems to get stuck .. displaying the ssi code and not allowing me to select other elements on the page to edit properties. A restart of Dreamweaver solves the problem. But boy is this annoying.
All of the includes do display properly when uploaded to the web server and viewed in a browser.
I've searched the forum.. and read any post that seemed even remotely relavant and have not been able to solve the problem.
I would really appreciate your help. I am a web designer and have used Dreamweaver for many, many years.

If Dreamweaver is acting erratically, or if you see a message saying "the following JavaScript error(s) occurred", it's usually a sign of a corrupt cache file. The first thing to try should always be to delete the file cache. If that doesn't work, delete your personal Configuration folder. Full instructions are in Deleting a corrupted cache file.

Tax Code and Tax Amount Fields are not appearing
Hi to all,
While making Downpayment Request (F-47) Tax Code and Tax Amount Fields are not appearing in the screen.
for more clarity...
suppose PO is 1150 include all taxes ( Amount 1000+ Tax Amount 150)
as per agreement with vendor we need to raise DR for 1150 and based on DR we will make downpayment to vendor (F-48)
But in F-47 screen Tax Code and Tax Amount fields are not appearing.
Could any body help me on this??

Schilukuriwhy you are looking for tax code field, pay gross amount as per PO, same amount will update in PO history as well as Vendor account.
Even if you find the tax code field and check the tax code check box, system will not calculate tax at the time of down payment or down payment request.
Please remember that by default standard SAP provides the tax code field in f-47 or F-48. -
Stationary credated in Mail does not appear properly when viewed in Outlook, is there around this? Or, can I export (as a PDF) the email drafted in Mail with stationary that does not have the meail info on top of the page . Thanks so much for your help.
No real solution to problem 1, stationary tends to look different depending on the client, as for 2 Mail does not export to pdf but can print to pdf, however you still get the mail headers.

Album Art Not Appearing in Album View
I have just upgraded to iTunes 10. I have all of my music attached to album artwork. The artwork shows up in Cover Flow, but does not appear in Alum View. I don't know if that is because in some cases I only have one song from an album instead of all of it, or not. I do not know how iTunes is determining valid artwork.
Any help you be appreciated.The "why" seems to be that that somebody thought that in the old layout albums with only one or two tracks were consuming too much screen area because of the way that artwork followed by album, artist and rating could create large unused areas where details would go. I can't say I've noticed anyone actually complain on these boards about it as a problem but there you are. Personally I find the solution worse, particularly at home where I have a small screen, as the new layout uses much more space horizontally. I also miss the vertical grid lines and user selectable artwork size. All in all an uneccesary attempt to fix something that wasn't broken.

Mac OSX : 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)
I discovered new mp3 do appear in Itunes playlist (recently added songs playlist) but do not appear in the main song list (songs/artist/album views).
As you can see in pictures below, I can find (and play) some songs in the search bar, but I can't find them manually in the main list (song view).
Here are 4 files in finder. The older one was already in Itunes.
Then I drag and drop 3 of them in itunes.
(I'm not using the synchronised mode with Itunes library).
As you can see below, 3 new songs appeared in playlist. Search bar shows 4 songs, everything seems ok.
Then, in artists view, there is only the older one. Meanwhile, idtag is correctly set.
In song view, there is the same problem. As you can see, the list is sorted by artists, and the 3 new files are missing.
I can even play song that is not in this list... (trough search bar).
For example, here is how is defined the mp3 being played (not present in the song list).

Field functional area does not appear as an entry field into the document..
Hi,
We are using the functional area field in our system. In order to access this field, we proceeded
to customize the system as follows:
- We already activate Cost of Sales Accounting for our Company Code.
- The field functional area was set optional through transaction OB41, for the posting keys required.
- The field functional area was set optional using transaction OB14, for the field status group assigned to the GL accounts.
However, we cannot enter the area functional when we are posting documents related to customers and vendors.
Although the field functional area was set optional, it does not appear as an entry field into the document screen for the
different transactions: fb70, fb60, f-02,fb01. It is only happening when we areentering the document position for the vendor/customer.

In FB70 or FB60 change the layout ........ select the line item layout configuration, you get a separate Table Settings screen pop up where in you need to select "Administrator" button the system displays another pop up window where in you can check whether the Functional Area field is checked as invisible if so remove the check mark and active the settings.

Heading elements do not appear in design view

heading (h1, h2 ...) elements do not appear in design view. anybody know how to fix this?
btw seems like DW gets worse with each successive version.I really don't have any troubleshooting advice because I can't reproduce the problem and have not seen this problem being raised previously in the forums.
If you have deleted the personal config file and cache and that hasn't helped, it may be time to uninstall and reinstall.
Also double check your computer for any viruses or malware etc.,
Depending on what version you are using then, you may want to run the uninstall scripts to make sure you remove *all* files associated with the software and start from scratch.
If you are having problems with Creative Suite 3, I would suggest using the CS3Clean script: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html
There is a different version for Creative Suite 4: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html.
WARNING: The CS3Clean and CS4Clean scripts remove from your computer EVERYTHING related with the CS3 and CS4 suites, apart from any documents that you have created using Adobe programs. Make sure you have your installation disks and serial numbers available for reinstallation.
If all else fails, then you may need to contact Adobe Technical Support. -
Just upgraded to Firefox 4. My Yahoo toolbar has disappeared and I can't work out how to reset it as it does not appear in the View drop-down list. Also NIS 2011 no longer flags up safe/unsafe sites when browsing.

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Substitutions - field does not appear in list of 'substitutable fields'
Specifically, I would like to use a exit substitution to replace the content of the Structure PRPS-POSID field.
However, I cannot seem to use a simple substitution rule (since PRPS-POSID does not appear as a substitutable field in the PRPS list of fields that pops up when creating a 'Step'). Most of the PRPS field are availed as 'substitutable fields' but not POSID.
The user exit approach is proving difficult since I cannot add the following code unless I put in a data or tables statement (which is NOT recommended).

The requirement is to ensure that the WBS element numbering (prps-posid(7) ) will always match that of the Project Definition (proj-pspid(7) ). This numbering rule is required to comply with the Fund Centre numbering since the fund center number utilizes the Project Definition number as an identifier ( I will email you some screen prints).
If there is a discrepency between the WBS element numbering (prps-posid(7) ) and the Project Definition (proj-pspid(7) ) number, the requirement is to assign Project Definition (proj-pspid(7) to the WBS element numbering (prps-posid(7) . The transaction used to call the substitution exit is CJ20N.
