Calculated Index VS Summation

Hi Gurus,
I've a problem on a query bex which has a calculated index whit a division.
If I drill down on some dimension all goes well, but when I remove the drill down I have a wrong value..
A/B  = C
A'/B' = C'
I want the sum of (AA'A''...)   /  (BB'B'')... and NOT the CC'C''...
Can anyone help me?
Kind regards,
Carl

Hi,
Can you please paste the output of your query for better understanding of your requirement.

  • Dynamic index in repeater

    I am trying to dynamically assign a column name based on the current iteration of a repeater. This will be a calculated value calculated by the following (Total no of columns - current iteration + 1). Whilst I have no problems getting this using numeric values ( which would be static ), I am having no luck using a calculated index, vis:
    IlluminatorDocument_0.Output{/Rowsets/Rowset/Columns/Column[12 - Repeater_1.CurrentItem + 1]/@Name}
    I have tried assigning the calculated output to a local variable as well, but to no avail.
    Is my syntax correct?
    TIA

    Thx Bill.
    Thats it.

  • VLAN Select - Interface dirty - Index based on Mac Address

    Hello Experts,
    we are testing the VLAN Select Feature with a 5508 controller, version 7.0.230 and two /23 DHCP Scopes on an external dhcp server. Our cookbook is following document:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10315/products_tech_note09186a0080bb4900.shtml
    Now i have a few questions
    1 - Is there any chance to see the calculated index based on the Mac Address to which the interface is assigned to the client. I try "debug client MAC-ADDRESS" and "debug dhcp", Maybe i overlook it, but i can't find any information to that index.
    2 - Is there a cli command to delete the index? It would be great for testing purposes and troubleshooting.
    3 - Is there a cli command to look, if the interface is "dirty"?
    4 - Our DHCP Server has a lease time of 5 Minutes. Is it possible to set the interface dirty time to a value less than 30 minutes?
    Best Regards,
    Michael

    I know this is an old post - but I ran across it trying to find an answer to the same questions.
    Did you ever find any answers?  I did find an answer to question 3, show interface group detailed.
    But I haven't found a way to delete the indexes short of rebooting all the controllers, and apparently you would have to reboot them all at the same time.

  • Problem with a view in XK01 transaction

    Hi All,
    I am working on upload conversion for Vendor Master. While doing conversion, i am getting a problem with a Contact person view in XK01 transaction. In contact person view the telephone field column sometimes allowing to add data ,sometimes it's not allowing data which results an error in conversion program saying that the telephone field in not an input field. I don't know why the view is showing the telephone field like that.
    Can any one suggest the solution for this problem. I know this is configuration problem with a view but i posted in ABAP forums.
    Thanks

    Hi Ben,
    I assume that you are writing a BDC program to upload contact person information. If so, you are trying to populate a table control here. Please check to see if you are calculating the index to assign values to the correct rows.
    if you are calculating index in your program then i think it should be configuration problem as you said.
    Thanks,
    Ganesh.

  • How to find out the maximum value

    Dear all,
    i have one query where in i have to calculate Excise Duty based on the  maximum  sales qantity of all materials with the corresponding sales value... i mean i wil get the maximum value of a individual material no matter how many sales has done.i wil pick up the maximum sales qty and the correspondig sales value....
    This im able to solve by taking the condition as TOP 1..
    Now my question is if the same material qty is sold with differnt value then i have to pick up the  Max value and as usual the sales qty..... plz help me out
    Material              Sales Qty              sales value
           3000                10 kl                   1000INR
           3200                15 kl                   1100 INR
           4000                20 kl                   1000INR
    in this case my query is picking up the max qty of  20 and the value 1000 INR as i had taken TOP 1 on Sales qty ....
    <b>
    But In the below example  for the same material i have to pick up the 3 rd row  where the sales value is maximum and the corresponding sales qty 10 kl</b>
    EX   Material        Sales Qty              sales value
           3000                10 kl                   1000INR
           3000                10 kl                   1100 INR
           3000                10 kl                   1500INR

    Hi,
    U can use the restrict option fo the Material characteristics  for sales value just drag and drop on columns >right click Properties> U have the option Calculated Result as Summation, Maximum, Minimum etc..just choose Maximum for ur case.

  • Save as PDF Problem

    It's the "Sigma Function" of the Equation Tool.
    The index of summation sign had expanded when I was saving in PDF format, but it works well with the "Integration function".
    Please help solving this problem
    Thanks

    Thanks Arnis & Mike, let me try my best to explain the condition.
    reply to Arnis: FM9, Save As PDF, Times New Roman Italic
    and I've discovred something strange today.
    Case 1:
    1.    choose any printer setting (Canon / HP / Fax / Microsoft XPS Document Writer)
    2.    Try / not try micro-positioning
    3.    Try any fonts (Times / Adobe Garamond / Arial / Verdana)
    4.    Save As PDF
    5.    I can see the indexes expanded when generating the PDF file, but it reposited again after the generation had finished
    6.    It doesn't work
    Case 2:
    1.    choose Adobe PDF printer
    2.    indexes expanded instantly and didn't re-posit to where it was (no matter which fonts Times / Adobe Garamond / Arial / Verdana)
    3.    Try micro-positioning
    4.    Save As PDF
    5.    It works, the indexes stay where they were
    It this case, it works! Is that mean I have to re-posit all equations the chapters?
    Case 2a:
    1.    choose Adobe PDF printer
    2.    indexes expanded instantly and didn't re-posit to where it was
    3.    Try micro-positioning
    4.    Save As PDF
    5.    It works, the indexes stay where they were
    6.    choose any printer setting (Canon / HP / Fax / Microsoft XPS Document Writer)
    7.    Indexes are aligned towards the summation sign

  • CKF in bps_wb (Web Interface)

    Hey All-
    I know with Enhanced layouts you can create calculated key figures based off of exsisting measures that you have in your planning area.  I'm using Web Interface (bps_wb) and I don't see where I can create CKF.  Is this even possible with Web Interface?
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    nv

    Hi,
    in Web Interfaces you cannot use any CKF's; this works only in web templates or workbooks based on the Integrated Planning.
    But you can use calculations (but only summation) in the layout customizing of BPS.

  • Oracle 11g, SRID & 3D-geometry

    Hi
    I migrated a spatial table from an Oracle 10 to an Oracle 11 database
    The table contains Multilines with M-values.
    I validate the Geometries with "SDO_GEOM.VALIDATE_GEOMETRY_WITH_CONTEXT"
    In Oracle 10: No Errors.
    In Oracle 11g:  ORA-54668:  2D SRID cannot be used with a 3D geometry
        Cause: A 2D SRID was used with a 3D geometry.
        Action: Replace the 2D SRID with an appropriate 3D SRID
    SRID is 82027 (In the spatial-Metadata-Table and in each SDO-Geometry-Object)
    82027 means "GK Zone 3 (DHDN)". It is an projected cartesian system.
    What to do?
    -> I dont't find any appropriate 3D-System
    -> I don't want Oracle to use the M-values for any puproses at all.
        To me it would be fine, if oracle-saptial ignores the M-Value for it's internal calculations (index, length,...)
        M-Values are only interpreted by the appliaction.
    Any advise?
    Bye, Benedikt

    Hi Benedikt,
    What is the SDO_GTYPE on your geometries? I am betting that perhaps the second byte on the GTYPE is zero (e.g. 3006) rather than the proper 3 (3306)? I am thinking also that this data may have originated from ArcSDE? ArcSDE has an ancient bug that loads all LRS data with just the zero rather than specifying which dimension has the LRS value. So Oracle Spatial sees 3006 and thinks you have X,Y and Z rather than X,Y and M and thus 11g polices things more thoroughly to make sure your SRID supports 3D actions.
    Note that ArcSDE is due to fix this bug (NIM045781) - hmm. Wait a second I THOUGHT they were due to fix this bug in 9.3.1 SP2 but now I see no mention of it! :_|
    http://downloads2.esri.com/support/documentation/ao_/9.3.1_SP2_Announcement.pdf
    Oh well. So you need to update your SDO_GTYPE by hand using something like:
    (table is foo and geometry column is shape)
    UPDATE foo a
    set a.shape.SDO_GTYPE = TO_NUMBER('33' || SUBSTR(a.shape.SDO_GTYPE,3,2));Hope that helps.
    Hope that's the issue.
    Cheers,
    Paul

  • Not getting total of results row in bex query

    Hi Experts,
    In Bex I have created new formula variable which is the Percentage of On time delivery for a particular vendor. The problem is when I use calendar year and vendor in rows and CK in columns and execute the query, I am not getting the the total value of particular vendor percentage for the year. Instead I am getting the value of 'X'.
    I tried to change the calculation result as "summation" but still I am facing the same issue.. If need more explanation i can give screenshots.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Mathivanan

    Hi Anshu,
    Thanks for your valuable reply. Here is the screenshots
    The formula variable I have created is based on some CK's.  When i run query for all vendors I am getting the result percentage. But when I run the query with calendar year I am getting result as below
    The OTD Percentage is not the total % of the year 2010 for the particular supplier(vendor).

  • What value should be for below parameters

    Dear all,
    Please suggest what value should be for below parameters  in Win 2003 ,ecc6 and oracle 10g and 16 gb ram.
    Parameters     Description     Current value
    fixcontrol     Bug fix control parameter
    For information about the recommended settings for parameter FIXCONTROL,  version of Oracle release 10.2.0.4 a number of values must be set.
    Parameters     Description     Current value
    max_dump_file_size     Maximum size of the optimizer trace file     UNLIMITED
    optimizer_index_caching     Adjust the usage of nested loops     0
    optimizer_index_cost_adj     Percentage of the calculated index costs     100
    parallel_max_servers     Parallel Query: Maximum number of parallel execution servers     150
    PARALLEL_MAX_SERVERS.
    Parameters     Description     Current value
    parallel_threads_per_cpu     Number of parallel execution processes/threads per CPU     2
    shared_pool_reserved_size     Part of Shared Pool for large statements     128676003
    pushjoin_union_view     Enable pushing join predicate inside a union all view
    Regards,
    Kumar

    Hello Kumar,
    The following should be the recommended parameters for your case. Always take a backup of initSID.ora and spfileSID.ora file before making the changes.
    fixcontrol Bug fix control parameter
    *._fix_control='5705630:ON','5765456:3','6221403:ON','6329318:ON','6399597:ON','6430500:ON','6440977:ON','6626018:ON','6670551:ON','6972291:ON','7325597:ON','7692248:ON','7891471:ON'
    max_dump_file_size = 20000
    optimizer_index_caching Adjust the usage of nested loops 0
    optimizer_index_caching (do not set)
    optimizer_index_cost_adj Percentage of the calculated index costs 100
    optimizer_index_cost_adj = 20
    parallel_max_servers=20
    parallel_threads_per_cpu = 1
    shared_pool_reserved_size
    CPUs   Shared_Pool_Size
       4              500M
       6                1G
      10                1G
      32                2G
      64                2G
    128                3G
    Resize db_cache depending on your needs. For your case, I would recommend at least 2GB of RAM for db_cache
    pushjoin_union_view
    pushjoin_union_view = false
    Set this as true if 6917874 fix is implemented.
    In addition Oracle processes should be calculated as follows
    Oracle Processes =
    { ABAP WP X 2  +
    J2ee Server Processes*MaxConnection  + Parallel_Max_Servers   + 40 }
    Hope I am clear.
    Thanks,
    Venkatesh Pydi.

  • Infospoke (Open Hub)

    Hi,
    I want to retrieve the contents of a query to a flat file suing infpsoke and not rscrm_bapi due to some consistency issues. The query i am interested in has certain calculated key figures (summations of cumulative key figures). Since the infospoke cannot extract calculated key figures into a table or file, is there an option of doing this?
    Is BADI an option to bring in the calculated key figures into a file or table?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You can use the BADI within the infospoke to actually perform the calculations and then extract out the data to table or file. So, yes you can basically manipulate the data using the BADI and then extract it.
    Cheers,
    Kedar

  • Basic Colors in Java

    Hi.
    Hi. I have a method that generates random colors but now I need this method to generate basic colors, because with random colors again brings back too many colors. This is my method for random colors:
    Random randCol = new Random();
                          String cores = null;
                          for(int i = 0 ; i < faixas.split(",").length ; i++ ){
                              String html = String.format("#%06X", randCol.nextInt(0xFFFFFF+1));
                              if(cores == null)
                                  cores = html.replaceAll("#","") + ",";
                              else
                                  cores += html.replaceAll("#","") + ",";
                          } Is there any way to change this method so that it generates only basic colors?
    Thanks
    Marcos Santiago

    How about putting all 'basic' colors in an array. Then you generate a random number in the range of the array size and return the color stored in the array at the calculated index.
    Something like
        public Color randomColor()
            ArrayList<Color> colors = new ArrayList<Color>();
            colors.add(Color.yellow);
            colors.add(Color.white);
            colors.add(Color.red);
            colors.add(Color.pink);
            colors.add(Color.orange);
            colors.add(Color.magenta);
            // more to add...
            Date d = new Date();
            java.util.Random rnd = new java.util.Random(d.getTime());
            int lInt = rnd.nextInt(colors.size());
            return colors.get(lInt);
        }Timo

  • Formulae definition --- erroneous output

    hi...
    i have created a formulae as follow :
    Formulae Q =  (qty 1  ) x (qty 2  ) x (Weight 3  )/    100
    qty 1   =   21
    qty 2   =   34
    qty 3   =    42
    Now if i use simple calculator then formulae q = 299.88
    But in query execution, the output of Formulae Q =  296.99
    I dont understand how this value got calculated by Query execution.
    HOW TO SOLVE THIS ?
    One thing i understood is that as i was multiplying Quantity and weight i used following defintion, so that units should not affect each other.......
    Formulae Q =  [nodim(qty 1  )] x [nodim(qty 2  )] x[nodim(weight 3  )] /    100
    Still same issue:
    Please advise
    Do i have to use the Aggregation Tab or Calculation tab in properties of formulae ?
    please advise..
    the values are same if i click display data on infocube and is no different....

    Thanks Mario,
    Please tell me in detail and steps by step procedure how to do that...
    I know how to use RSRT transaction.
    But then for query execution which options to use , because it has several options....
    Tell me exactly step by step approach and exact options to chose before i run the execute and debug my query...
    and in that execution how to explore the Calculated index.
    How to debug and determine those calculated index...
    how to understand what is going wron where ?????
