Calculated value and color change

I am a newbie desiging a form in Livecycle.
Have a table with some calculated fields - using formcalc.
I want to change the color of these fields based on the calculated value but I don't know how to have multiple events occurring in the one cell.
I can get it working if I put the color change script into the exit event of the cell but as it's a read only cell, the user will not be exiting the cell. I have had no luck putting the color change script elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Actually, in full screen mode the top is cut off! I never noticed that since I always use full screen. This only happens in ACR. All other screens are fully represented. I may cut back on the height adjustment and see if I can see the top. Thanks for pointing it out, Ramon.
Back to the problem at hand, if you notice, all sliders are at -0-, and if you could look at all the adjustment panels, everything is neutral. So, what is it adjusting?
If I open a RAW file I also get the triangle, but when it disappears only the slightest change is noticeable in the histogram, and nothing in the image itself. This is true even with the .nefs tweaked.
Finally, the image 1 is correct with respect to the same file in PS. I compared the screen shot to the full image side by side, in PS. Image 2 is not. If I do a tweak in ACR then open in PS, it's not what I want to see.
This particular frame is tagged with the ACR icon in Bridge, but I have other tiffs that are not, and the same thing occurs.
FAPP, I cannot not color correct in ACR with a tiff. I do it as an .nef

Calendar font and color change no reason

I am attempting to create a calendar with the new Iphoto and I have to say it is harder to use then the old one. I am trying to manually enter birthdays. Typed couple of entries with Hoefler Text size 8 and worked. All of a sudden tried typing in another date, same month, and Font changed color to orange and is larger but same Hoefler Text setting and size 8 still appear. What am I doing wrong? how do I fix?

There are a few animated titles with fonts that cannot be changed. Lens Flare is one of them.

CYMK TO RGB importing and color changing

I don't know if this is something really basic but I finished a piece of artwork. I copied an image that I drew in illustrator and pasted it into an empy photoshop document. I was working on CYMK in illustrator but RGB in photoshop. I thought that might have been why the colors were off. Like the blacks in CYMK are not fully black unlike RGB. So I made a new RGB document in illustrator pasted the image from the previous CMYK document and tried to convert the colors.(through swatch and even edit colors). This new image I posted again into photoshop again the colors were off. Last try I made another new RGB document. I painted another image this time using RGB black from the beginning and it was not a copied image from the previous document but rather a new image that I just drew. Still when I imported into Photoshop the black was not fully black. I zoomed in and notice it wasn't black even in the 2 illustrator documents in RGB. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and why the color isn't fully black would anyone be able to help direct me or teach me what is wrong here? Is it something I'm doing wrong in photoshop or in illustrator or both?

On the most elementary level: Your color management settings do not match and there is a profile conversion happening. Make sure to use the same color profiles (plain sRGB) in both apps, calibrate your monitor, use the correct monitor profile for proofing.... Other things that could be relevant:
- you are still mixing your colors in CMYK in AI, even when working in RGB, resulting in crooked values and possibly different gamut
- you settings for rich black are set in such a way, that all blacks are converted to rich black
- you are using AI transparencies and blending modes, which simply work differently in PS
- OpenGL usage in PS may affect display of your artwork
In any case, this is nothing a short forum post can answer. You really need to read up on color management and how it works in different programs to resolve these issues.

Pre-Made Effects and Color Change

When I add a pre-made effect to type. How do I change the effects color? The effect Im trying to use is the underwater one. It always stays this ugly blue tint, and I need the effect to be green. Ive tried changing it in the attributes window, but it only effects the text minus the underwater effect.

Actually David, I did mean the Style tab.
You see, either way, you have to select each keyframe and then make the color change to make this fix. But instead of going to the Effects tab and having to select the ShadColor parameter each time you select a different keyframe (and then selecting a new color and confirming), you can just leave the Shadow tab open on the Style menu, select the color swatch there and pick the color you want for each key. Doing it in the Style tab saves you a few clicks each time.
About the only time I use the Effects panel is when entering parameters that don't have an interface component (such as Accelerate) or to get a quick view of what parameters are being animated.

Font and color changes not executed

In setting up a new blog page, I've selected a specific color for the titles of my entries, and a typeface. But on the blog page itself, once it was published to MobileMe, the title is gray and the font is not what I selected. Why is it not responding to the changes I've made, and saved? Thank you!

Yes, I have cleared the browser's cache and no change. I'm trying to think here...when I'm making these changes, I am doing it in the "entries" section, because in the "blog" section these changes are not available for me to make.
blog template has three entities: 1) blog summary 2) blog entries and 3) blog archive
changes that you made in 'entries' section won't reflect the blog summary/archive because they are rendered separately.
You can change 'titles'/head lines font face in blog summary/archive by slowly click on the title three times (all titles will be hilited) then you can change font face.
but, you can not change the color, because the titles are hyperlinks to link back to the entries. you can change their colors in theme/domain.site2's xml or you willing to post edit blog summary/archive CSS file.

Dynamically calculating values and validating in reports

I need to be able to calculate and display the running total of column (representing a % - sales allocation) within an updatable report as the users steps off the row after making a change to the allocation.

</script>Note that you dont have access to each individual row, when you change either the sal or the comm field, the entire grid gets recalculated, sort of like a spreadsheet.

Video clips not diplaying in viewer and color changes in canvas

I have been using Final Cut Pro 7 successfully on my computer for some time. Suddenly I am getting white preview and canvas screens. The video clips are not previewing (but audio is present) and the canvas show dark color outlines and extremely degraded image. I have uninstalled and reinstalled final cut pro but there is no change.

I trashed preferences which had no effect and then entirely uninstalled fcp using fcp remover which removes all related files and then reinstalled it and the problem remains.

Dynamic Text and color changes......

In some cheap website creating software I have you can turn
text into rich text and change the color of individual words inside
the same text box full of text. Is there anyway to do that in flash
CS3?

Thanks clbeech I actually found an easy way to do it. For
your dynamic text box you can click the "html" box in the
properties window for that text box. (Its a little square box with
this <> inside it and its just to the right of the singleline
and multiline box drop down.) You can then select the text you want
to edit inside the text box and change its font/size/color as well
as turn it into a dynamic link and it will do so without affecting
the rest of the text in your text box.

you're not
using one of them then you can't guarantee it will be

Flash crash and color changes

in CS3 I have jpegs and gifs along all with a background that
is the same color across photoshop and flash, and it looks fine in
the development environment, but when I make a swf file the colors
shift and it no longer looks correct.
I also get artifacts in the file when using a mask,
horizontal lines.

try clicking File> Publish settings and raising the jpeg
compression quality to 100. Also, you're better off importing
.png's into flash instead of jpg's and gifs if possible, better
quality and compression then a jpg.

5900 heard a load snap and colors changed

Playing the GTR demo at 1024x768 on Sunday I heard a loud snap like a twig breaking and the screen had a very red tint to it. I turned the monitor off and on again and still the same. Restarted the computer and still no change. Turned everything off and back on and things were normal again. The monitor has had a loud whine lately when starting up showing the windows splash screen, but is quiet when playing games or at the desktop.
The 5900 isn't very old and I have an Antec Smart 550w power supply. The CPU temp was 127*-f at the time. The monitor was bought in 1998. I am assuming it is the monitor, but would like to double check since it hasn't done it since and I don't have another to try.

Font and Color Changes on Hyperlinks

I am going mad on iWeb trying to format hyperlinks. No matter how I format the text, the moment you enable it as a hyperlink it defaults to whatever Apple set it at. The inspector shows all the right parameters but the link is unchanged.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Unfortunately, the answer is there is no way within iWeb to change the hyperlink format. Perhaps Apple will add this feature in a future release.

Evening Out The Brightness and Color of a Set of Images

So I have a set of images, usually between 500-700, all taken in a 20min period or so. Natural light through a window. It's shot handheld with my Canon rebel with a 18-55mm lens. Due to the slight change in light over the time period, the fact I'm zooming in and out, and moving around the subject, I get a lot of value and color variation. See the images below...
My current process is to manually color correct each image so they match in terms of brightness and color. This gets very tedious of course. Could someone suggest a faster, preferably completely automated way to even out the brightness and colors of a set of images like these in lightroom so they all look pretty similar to each other?

Yup, that's one reason I think I need a color correction after the fact method to handle this situation, obviously taking a shot that's mostly in shadow will look different than one where the character is almost all in complete sunlight.
I guess I'm really having three issues here, first is the blue tint that gets introduced when I zoom in, and then second is the natural lightening and darkening that occurs as I take photos of the subject from different angles, and third is the fact since its sunlight the light does change somewhat over the 20minute period.
Hopefully the first issue can be solved by turning off automatic white balance, and I'm still hoping there may be some automated method for evening out the value difference introduced by the 2nd and third issue. Although even if I can just solve the first issue that would save me a ton of time.

How do I get a field to automatically select a value and change color based on another automatic field?

Here is the situation:
I have a row on a form called Finding Risk Rating. In this row are four fields: Probability, Severity, Risk Rating, Color.
Probability is a drop down menu with the following values: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Severity is a drop down menu with the following values: A, B, C, D, E
Risk Rating is a field that I have a custom calculation script:

So, when I pick Probability = 1 and Severity = D, Risk Rating will automatically change to 1D, etc. This works fine on the surface as far as I can tell.
The part where I am stuck, is the fourth field Color.
Ideally, I want Color to be automatically populated depending on the value of Risk Rating. For example, for 1E I would want it to say "YELLOW" and the field to change color to yellow. For 1A it would be "GREEN" with the color green, etc.
I tried doing an if else for all cases, but it never refreshes to the correct value. I then checked using app.alert to see what fields riskRating and colorRank are (see code below), and I noticed that riskRating never changes, even though the value in Risk Rating changes. Is there a way to order script(s) so that if I execute one, the other will follow? I'm new to scripting for forms and haven't done any programming in 10+ years, so feel free to rip my code in favor or something more efficient, or direct me to a good resource I can learn from.
Here's the basis of what I have for scripting on Color. It's brief because I wanted to test it out before writing every 'if else' statement.

One problem is if more than one combo box item has the same number associated with it, you cannot simply set the export value to the corresponding number since they need to be unique (or the user interface behaves weird). One thing you can do is set up an object to associate a list item with a value, and look up the value in code when a list item is selected.

Calculating Acqusition value and Accumulated depriciation

I want to create a new report which shows the acqusition value . accumulated depriciation and monthly derpricaition for an asset.
I have used funciton module 'DEPR_RECALCULATE' to find acuistion value and accumulated derp , but the acq value displayed is always equal to the acquistion value at the fiscal year start , irrerspective of the period entered .
ALso in my report if i enter period as 7 , then acq value for the asset in period 7 should be displayed . and accumulated depr upto period 6 should be displayed .ie acq for asset during the period entered and accum depr till period-1 should be displayed
Could some one help me with a proper way to calculate asset acq and accumulatd depr .
I tried looking into the std report RABEST01 , but it uses logical database ADA .And I would notbe able to use logical db , as the accum depr and acq value need to calculated for diff periods .
