Calculation of SLA times based on Service Organization

Is it possible to calculate the SLA times based only on Service org?
a) Using Service contracts i.e create SC with only org and assign the Service & Response profiles.
Else as mentioned below.
Please give your more thoughts.
I maintain the Service & response profiles at "Maintain Availability and Response Times" .
Can I access these values directly in the BADI ?
My scenario is
a) An agent belongs to a service org.
b) I define these Profiles seperately for each Org (Org1 Org2 etc) at the above tcode.This manual entry.I know we dont have org to profiles mapping in the above tcode.I just painly maintain.
c) In the BADI i check the org entered in the complaint.
d) for Ex if the Org1 is entered I want to access the profiles for Org1.If else ladder.
e) then use these profiles to calculate the SLA times.
f) then save the document.
g) Also trigger an e-mail saying the above time lines.
Is the above flow possible??

I will be just maintaining the service and response profiles in the "Maintain Availa..." tcode.
There wont be exact mapping stored in any table.
My logic would be ,i dunno whether this right or wrong..
1) Once i get the Org ,I would compare like ths
if( orgdata = org1)
then service profile 1 etc.
2) then apply the profiles to the cal of SLA times.
I think we can achieve what you said using CRM_ORDERADM_I_BADI
Or we need to use the BADI's specifically mentioned for serv contract det and calculation of SLA.
As you know in SAP for SLA times we need to have the service contract for a) customer b) org and many other parameters.then to this SC we need to associate the service and response profiles.When the SC is determined in a complaint ,the serv and resp profiles will be used to get the SLA times.
But my requirement is to have determine the SLA times based on the service organisations.Not based on the customer and any other parameters.
For ex : If my serv org is in India the times would be diff ..if my serv org is in US the times would be diff.
So let me know what approach would be best ?
Use BADI's as above or does this approach of having define different Service contracts (without having Partner functions customer etc) for diff orgs?

Is there a way to stop or pause the sla counting time of a service ticket?
I have a scenario, where I get a service ticket, and I have to stop the sla counting time, because I need a response from a third person, not involved at that time.

Status needs to be selected in the conditions. Follow the below steps
1. Select the actions in conditons
Goto Spro --> IMG --> CRM --> Action --> Actions in transactions --> Change actions and conditions --> Define conditions
and click on your action profile and open the action
2. Go to the start conditions tab and click on the edit conditions
3. Click on the condition definition space and expand the container in the change condition pop-up box
4. Double click on the status table and choose the new user status in the constant field
5. Select the operator as not equal to

For which repository services "lifetime" will be activated. Bcoz i have configured Windows file server repository but when i go to details-settings->permissionf of my folder "lifetime" is not visible.
Where ahould i activate time dependent publishing service?and whar are all the prerequisites to enable it?

I had set the server time in valid until parameter but no effect.its not working.
Even after setting the time in tbp the document is still visible.
What could be the reason for its not working.

Tax calculation at the time of creating service entry sheet.

Dear Experts,
I have got a Company Code : P320 having the Plants : P324, P325, P326.
I am making a Services Purchase Order by using the Item Category as u201CDu201D and Accounts Assignment as u201CKu201D for Cost Center and Order and u201CPu201D for WBS element.
I am entering a Tax Code : 29-Service Tax 10.30% and Jurisdiction Code : IN00 for all the Plants : P324, P325, P326.
The tax calculations in purchase order are displayed properly.
But on preparing the service entry sheet for Plants P324 and P325 for Accounts Assignment u201CKu201D and u201CPu201D, the service tax amount is getting calculated and posted correctly along with the base amount.
But on preparing the service entry sheet for Plant P326 for Accounts Assignment u201CKu201D and u201CPu201D the service tax amount is not getting calculated and only accounting entries for base amount is posted.
For example : Suppose the value of the SES is Rs. 10000/-. Service tax [((Rs. 10000 * 10.30)/100) = Rs.1030).
The accounting entries for Plants P324 and P325 are for Rs. 10000/- + Rs. 1030/- = Rs. 11030.
The accounting entries for Plant P326 are for Rs. 10000/- only.
Please suggest what could be the problem and how can it be resolved.

Th service cost is 1000 an tax is10.3% (130 rs). Hence the amount shoul be 1130. In your case it is showing 1000only. Am i right? Thouigh you have seleceted apt tax code and tax is not getting updated means please check the tax code linkage in tax determination procedure.Please cross check the tax determination procedure and the tax code assigned in SES is correct or not. So I have done thoose steps:
              activate lifetime property in my folder
              activate tasks "valid from" and "valid to"
I'm trying to activate time-based publishing service (TBP) but I'm unable to find it in the portal.
   I have loocked in System Administration->System configuration->KM->Content Management->Repository Services and in System Administration->System configuration->KM->Content Management->Global Services without sucess.
   How can I check/configurate if TBP is running on the Portal?
   Do I have to do something more for use lifetime documents service?
   I'm using NW 2004s and EP7.0

Hi Yaiza,
TBP service should be running in your portal but the configuration of the service cannot be changed. You need only to register this service with a repository and you must also register the application property service as it is described here: <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/c1/c87d3cf8ff3934e10000000a11405a/frameset.htm">Time-Dependent Publishing Service</a>
This registration is done by default for standard /documents repository in the portal.
Please be aware that the user with read/write permission for the folder where you have activated Time-dependant Publishing will be able to see all documents in that folder. Please refer to this: <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/e8/a9a76828b8dc469969ff450ec81ced/frameset.htm">Lifetime of Documents</a>
Please remember to set valid time periods for your documents. When time-dependant publishing is activated properties <b>valid from</b> and <b>valid to</b> have the same value by default.

XML Forms Time-based publishing

Hi,
I'm testing an XML form that uses Time-based publishing but it isn't working correctly. The fields in the Edit form that correspond to Valid to / from are working. When I input the timestamps, they show up in the properties. I have also activated the Time Based Publishing service for this folder (it is in the documents repository). I have created two forms, one that should be published and one that shouldn't. When I test the iview with my administrative user, both appear (this is the expected behavior)
When I log in with a user who only has Read permissions on that folder, I can't see any content. I've tried different combinations of dates for the elements but nothing seems to be getting through. I've also waited for the 15 minutes that the guide establishes for the content to appear but nothing shows up. What could be the problem?

There are Valid to & Valid from properties in the data model section of the XML Forms Builder. Would imagine you could play around with these as a starting point.
when creating the XML Form, you can drag and drop the KM Properties "Valid From" and "Valid Until" from the left pane "Data Model" -> "Properties" -> "Lifetime" on your form. activate the tbp (time-based publishing) service on the used repository and also to "Enable Time-Dependent Publishing" on every folder where you want to use the forms (from the folder menu "Details" -> "Settings" -> "Lifetime".pèleas also go through this

XML form Time based Publishing

Hi Everyone
I added the valid until and valid from properties to the XML form and activated the time dependent publishing for the folder where this form is displayed. My problem is that it is not taking the time that I enter in the XML form fields but considering the time only if I go to the details tab of that particular doc and set up the lifetime. I want to set this up in the edit form of the XML form. Can somebody please tell me if I am missing something.

What you can do within the application is have a report/dashboard to highlight the SRs that are over their planned SLA, but the user will have to be in the application to see it.
If you want a time based WF, it currently is not available within R16, but you can write a relatively simple WS in combination with an integration event to solve this issue.

Repository Services - Time based publishing missing

I can't find the Repository Services for this it is suppose to be under
System administratoin -> Content Management -> Repository Services
But it is not,
can anyone help?

Ip SLA RTP based VOIP Operation - To find out MOS value

I am new to VOIP. We are trying to find out the MOS value in our VOIP network. For that we thought of using IP SLA RTP Based VOIP operation to get the MOS values. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/12_4t4/htrtpvip.html
I ve used 3825 with NM HDV module with 3 DSP as SLA originator and AS 5400 XM as SLA responder.
But i'm not getting the MOS values,
show ip sla statistics shows that the operation failed due to Format Failure.
I ve attached the config of my 3825. Kindly go through it and advise if any changes to be done.
In AS 5400 XM there is no special config related to this. I ve enabled only " IP SLA RESPONDER"

Hi,
AS 5400 cannot be used even as SLA responder for RTP probe. Thats the reason i got the Format Failure error. We can view the type of SLA Probes the router supports by issuing the following command:
sh ip sla application.

Improper IRT and MPT Calculation in SLA management

Dear Friends,
We have configured the standard SLA management process, using the standard SLA determination, wherein SLA gets determined from service profile and response profiles assigned to product INVESTIGATION. We have created our custom service profile and response profile which we have assigned to the product INVESTIGATION. Now the profiles are getting identified correctly upon creation of incident however the IRT MPT calculations are going wrong.
For instance for Priority 1, we have set 1 Hour as IRT and 2 Hours as the MPT, however the IRT and MPTs are calculated like more then 8 hours or even more and everytime it does a different calculation.
Please guide us on this.

Unable to process huge files in SFTP BASED PROXY SERVICE

Hi,
I credted osb project which will have sftp based proxy and sftp based business service.After completing the development i tested the fie transfer through WINSCP ,but my sftp based proxy was picking the files but i am unable to see the files in the output directory for huge files,for small file it is coming after aquite long time .please assist me .

If you enable content streaming then you cant access the file/message content within the Proxy service and can not perform actions like Replace or perform transformations on the content. Use streaming for pass through scenarios only. If you want to read a large file and also perform transformations on content I would recommend using JCA Adapter for FTP and try reading records from file in batches, a few records at a time. Just so we know the requirement better, what is the file size and what is the format of the content?

Auto determination of Service Organization and Org.Unit

I've created an Org.Model with Org.Units. I've also configured a rule to derive the service organization and the responsible Org Unit based on the activity reason.
When i manually specify the activity reason in the transaction, both service org and org. unit are not automatically derived. As a result I have to manually specify them.
What am I missing here?

Time-based publishing stopped working

We currently have a problem with time-based publishing in KM. Since a few days ago, documents stopped becoming visible once they reach their "valid from" date. We have not been able to publish documents with TBP since then on that system.

1. Have you checked that tbl service continue assigned to your repository ?
2. If you create a new repository and assign these service, does it work ?
Enables users to define a time frame during which documents are published (visible).
Note that the time-dependent publishing service requires the application property service.
This service cannot be configured.
