Calculation of withholding tax after the certain amount

Hello all,
I would like to ask you when you can customize the settings for withholding tax. We have received the request to set a new witholdng tax which should calculate after $1000 before IVA (if invoice before iva is $1001 should calculate withholding) if the amount is 1000, it should not calculate the withholding tax.
Is it possible? so far its set with base amount 100% and calculation witholdng tax rate: 5%, posting indicator 1.

Dear,
Please use minimum and maximum amounts for your requirement in withholding tax calculation, go to spro-->financial account >financial accounting gs>withholding tax >extended withholding tax> calculation>min/max amounts>define min/max for types.
Here, give the mini amount as 1000. Now check how the system will calculate.

I have an iPad Air and have never experienced something that I would call a " white screen glitch."
Please explain exactly what is happening on your iPad, what you might have tried to fix it and what, if any, error messages you receive.

Does the computer lock me after a certain amount of failed password attmepts, even when i finally have the correct password? recently changed root account password, but then forgot today and when tried again didn't work. if so, how long does lock last?

the password I had set, because I wasn't sure if i had maybe set it in Caps Lock or used a different number in the sequence. I got the message several times
about "too many attempts, try again later". Does the computer lock me from signing in even with the correct password after a certain amount of failed
attempts? If so, how long does this lock last for? When can I try again? Or is there something I need to do to remove that lock now? I'm pretty sure I
had the right password finally but it still wouldn't accept it.
Also, I don't have any other administrative users set up on my macbook pro. I'm the only one who uses it, so I've always just used that original User from my
original setup.

Do this:
1. Reboot
2. Hold apple key + s key down after you hear the chime. (command + s on newer Macs)
3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
(Type these commands very carefully)
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can change the passord on the old one.

You can look at the on timeOut event. (This is not to be confused with timeOut objects)
There are a number of related properties, which date back from the early days of Director, and which seem to have been omitted from recent versions of the documentation, even though they still function. I give them here with their original names (prior to Director 10):

the timeOutLength
the timeOutMouse
the timeOutPlay
the timeOutScript

the lastKey
the lastRoll
(You can also use the more recent DOM style for these last four properties: _player.lastXXX)
Here's a very simple script which will make sprite 1 disappear when the movie starts, and reappear if the user does nothing for 5 seconds:

If you click the mouse at intervals of less than 5 seconds after starting the movie, then the sprite will remain invisible.
NOTE: Using sprite(x).visible = FALSE will make the entire sprite channel invisible everywhere in the Score. It's better to use sprite(x).blend = 0, unless the sprite must not react to the mouse while it is invisble, in which case it is better to move it off-stage.

Click event on a label doesn't work after a certain amount of time?

I'm having a weird kinda a problem with my label.....I had given a click event on the label but the problem here is that...it won't take any event after a certain amount of time....i mean..it takes the event if you click on it when it is loaded but after sometime it won't take any event...
And there's one more thing which is that...i've some images too on the page but the images doesn't show up until and unless my mouse gains focus on the page...i.e I've to move my mouse over the page once then only i'm able to see the image...
Any help on how to solve this problem.....

In Pakistan rate of withholding tax on freight is 2% and same has been updated in vendor master record. As i am going to make payment to vendor through t ocde F-48 , system is calculating tax @ 1.98% instead of 2%
kindly advice where should i make changes in SPRO so that system claculate tax amount at the rate specified in vendor master records

Extended Withholding Tax ( Minimum/maximum Base Amount ) - with accumulati

We are facing problem in posting of vendor Invoice. Actually we have implemented Minimum base amount ( Rs. 75000/- ) at withholding tax type level and accumulation at per year in withholding tax type A1 ( for testing purpose ) and assign the same to a vendor. We have booked some invoices up to RS. 75000/- system working fine, no WHT is deducted. But now we have received a another Invoice Rs. 5000/- and at the time of booking of invoice system giving an error message
I have changed the error message to warning but itu2019s again showing the same error message.
Actually the problem is system calculate the WHT from the beginning of the year to till date and the amount of Vendor invoice is less the than the amount of WHT but itu2019s legal requirement and we have to post the financial entry as mentioned below
Fictitious figures

Dear Customer,
We understand your requirement. But the standard SAP system does not support a scenario where an invoice amount in lower than the tax amount.
This is not a localization specific requirement. The accumulation logic is a generic system behaviour and all countries use it. We cannot make any change in the standard in this regard and change the current system behaviour.
Option to handle this in the system
The only way this can be handled in the system is once the accumulation limit has been reached, use a separate tax type tax code with out accumulations.
Though this is not the ideal solution, this is the best possible solution for your requirement.
Accumulation is not localized for India and the standard solution vailable for all the countries is used by Indian customers too.
SAP is currently not looking at any enhancements to this feature.
Other than the option mentioned above, there is no other way of handling this in the system.

This cannot be possible for two reasons.
1. If you are not able to recover the amount from the Vendor, you'll have to bear it yourself which is a loss to the company.
2. Even if such a process is provided, you cannot alter the previous invoices and your EWT amount does not correspond to the invoice you account for. SAP works in an assumption that Tax will be calculated as a % of base price and cannot exceed it.
The only way to mitigate this is to decide whether a Vendor would require this exemption to be declared based on past experience and past amount of transactions in the beginning itself. If it is unlikely, better do not declare the accumulation limit for them. This will save you from incurring loss and reducing the risk for the company. Start deducting right from the beginning.
If you are not sure, instead of giving accumulation, you can declare exemption upto 75000. In this case, SAP cannot check whether the Vendor has crossed the limit or not. You'll have to manually check and pass a Debit note to that extent when he exceeds the limit. Again, this does not evade the risk of loss for the company. Also, you cannot do TDS post processing for this amount (like TDS Remittance challan, TDS Certificate etc).
So, in my opinion, try and decide if the Vendor would require accumulation right in the beginning itself. Even if not able to decide, you can still deduct the tax and issue a TDS certificate, which the Vendor can claim refund based on his transactions with you from the Income Tax in case he does not exceed the limit. This will limit the risk of loss for the company.

As i can see that in calculation at the time of posting...but not at the time of invoice.

Hi,
Basically while creating tax code you have to create a with holding tax type for payment posting. Then assign it to the tax code. Then assign this tax code to the vendor in the vendor master.
Then only you can deduct WHT at the time of making down payment to vendor.
I am not giving the fullsteps as i am in the view you have already created tax code for invoice posting.

My iphone says that icloud has not been backed up in 2 weeks...but after several attemps to back up, it continues to say "the latest backup did not complete"...I did have the phone plugged into my computer & connected to wi-fi..and it was locked...any idea why it won't complete the backup? it says total storage is 5.0 GB & available is 3.3 GB

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Host NIC Ceases To Route Traffic After A Certain Amount Of Throughput

I'm hoping that someone may be able to assist me, or point me in the right direction. I have a pair of Dell R710's, running OVM 2.2.1, each running 2 OEL VM's. I am using the 4 onboard NIC's, each configured to a separate LAN. I can start the VM's, and after a period of time, they will lose connectivity to any one of the LAN's. If I try and access the destination from the Dom0, I receive "no route to host".
A power off/on of the VM's will restore connectivity. After speaking to Oracle, I was advised to set "tso off" for each of the interfaces in the host. This appeared to resolve the issue, but all it did was increase the time between the losses of connectivity.
I have a pair of Dell R710 / OVM 2.2.0 servers that don't exhibit this issue.
I'd appreciate any assistance.

I have similar issue (Nics shutdown), with same hardware (Dell R710) have to hard boot the OVM Server to resolve. I have a been told it is related to bug.11713119.
