CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation

403 CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation Getting this error message in iCal. Tried turning iCal on and off and on and off and on and off and on. Tried resetting P ram and Nram. Search for a solution for so long and read so many postings from people with same problem, but NO solutions. Apple ignore the problem.
Icloud was fine, but after the last updates it stopped working. Not syncing and coming with error messages about events that has been deleted for ages.
It is not good.

I had the same issue but it seems to have fixed itself after insisting a bit. I just kept clicking "Go Online" until I got no more errors, then checked the Google website and the calendar was up to date. I think the solutions in this thread probably did not change anything, but it was just a temporary server problem at Google. Certainly Google Calendar has nothing to do with iCloud or MobileMe so that can't have changed anything. And resetting PRAM... nope, very very extremely unlikely to have helped.
I have similar problems with gmail sometimes (accessed via POP in Mail): Mail will complain about an invalid password or some other error, but later everything works again. In most cases pretty much immediately, but sometimes it takes an hour or so.
One thing Apple could do, is handle this kind of errors more gracefully. Maybe only give the error after a few attempts instead of all that technical mumbo jumbo.

Does anyone know how to repair this problem.  It just began happening today.
    Thanks,

We previously had a similar issue when migrating multiple accounts from MobileMe to iCloud.  The issue was resolved by disabling and then enabling iCal sync through iCloud on our iMacs in System Preferences.
Always backup your calendar before troubleshooting (File > Export > iCal Archive).
The following steps are roughly from a Apple Support Community discussion.
    Open iCloud in System Preferences.
Switch off (uncheck) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Backup iCal before doing this. You will need to remove calendar data.
Open iCal and verify the iCloud account is removed in the iCal preferences under accounts.
Close iCal, reopen System Preference and switch on (check) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Reopen iCal and verify the iCloud account is enabled in the iCal preferences under accounts.
At this point if the problem persists you might try completely signing out of iCloud and then signing back in. But remember to backup all related data (iCal, Contacts, Mail, Photostream, etc) before turning off iCloud sync!

  • Error "400" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation preventing any iCal activity

All of a sudden, I can't write or delete events unless I go offline. It shows me:
The request for “New Event” in “Awesome Life” in account “iCloud” failed.
    The server responded with
    “400”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
I've also tried doing so on icloud.com and I got nowhere. I've also tried deleting the iCloud account off iCal then adding it again, nothing. I was able to access the root profile but then had no idea how to access the files themselves...their path, I mean.
I'm kind of in desperate need for iCloud at these times of finals and exams all around so I'd really appreciate it if someone had the time to help. The error part of the debug log is here:

    Try this:
Back up calendars. Disable calendars, open finder and move the following folders from ~/Library/ to your desktop.
      /Calendars
      /Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
      /Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist
If you find other iCal / Calendar referring files, move them also (these were the ones I found): Keep a track of where they came from in case you need to put them back. Then reenable iCloud Calendars in preferences and reenter account info in Calendars if it's missing. Everything is working as it should now.
Stackexchange thread where I found and refined the tip.

Received 2 appointments from a customer, same date, same content, just different hours. Since then I receive message from iCal: Access to “Subject” in account “iCloud” is not permitted. The server responded "403" to CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. In my opinion this is a bug, because iCloud is not able to handle 2 appointments at the same date with same content, just at different hours. The different hours should be enough individuality for each event on calendar.

Here are 4 identical events (other than time) in Calendar on my mac
Here is how they appear at iCloud.com
I concluded that iCloud has no problem with identical events seperated by time, so the question becomes what is wrong with your setup as opposed to what is wrong with iCloud.

  • Can't check off reminders, get error server responded with "400" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation

    Hi -
I upgraded to Lion last week and started having this issue when i tick off a completed task/reminder from iCal
"The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation"
Does any one know what is causing the error message?  I went back to system preferences, the server settings and server path are all correct and this was working fine before the upgrade....
Also, is the setting of tasks from the Notes pages in Apple Mail just completely gone?
    Thanks for the help!

    No help  in here?

  • My calendar cannot be updated by incoming changes MSG : CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation

Each time somebody try to update a scheduled meeting I received  ad nauseam a message telling me that the access to icloud is not allowed and that the server answered 403 to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation...
Any idea how to fix this... Thnx

If one is downloading directly to the iPhone via WiFi, it doesn't matter what version of iTunes is on the computer.
I decided to sync my phone to Outlook via iTunes.  First thing, iTunes discovered that 7.0.3 was not on my phone.  It asked if i wanted to install it.  I said, "yes", and VOILA!! 7.0.3 is now installed on my iPhone.
So therein is the answer.  Have no idea what bug is in there to keep it from loading to some phones directly via WiFi, but obviously, it is something!!
There is no bug.  While you can update your iOS via wi-fi, it's recommended to do so via USB & iTunes.  Depending on your wi-fi connection & singal strength, you can get errors.  That's not a function specifically of the device.

  • ICal error-  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

I added downloaded calendar events last week and since I have been getting this error.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
I have tried syncing my iCal and no resolution.
    Any suggestions?

I had an event that was rescheduled, and was sent a new invite. desktop iCal had a problem trying to move the old event into the future date. It gave me that message above, the 403 error.
So I went into iCloud online and into iCal there and deleted the old event. Accepted the new event and it worked.
It couldn't automate that for some reason, and I think it has to do with the desktop remote software itself. When I deleted the original off iCal on iCloud, it updated on my desktop immediately.

  • What does 'Access to "CLOUT / Robert Owens" in "Jay Paradis" in account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.' mean?

I keep getting an error in my iCloud calendar that reads:
Access to “[appointment name]” in “[calendar name” in account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
What does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks!

First, try the simple fix: back up all data, then uncheck Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane. Check it again. Test.
If there's no change, see whether any of these fixes is applicable:
server error "access is not permitted"
    ical 403 server error

The iCal in my Mac Book Pro does not seem to sync / push in iCloud. I can not synchronize the iCal in my iPad2. A window pops out with the message: The server responded with a "507" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

That may not be what you want, but it's what's going to happen if you sync it to your Mac.  You are trying to sync media to your phone from an iTunes library other than the one it is set up to sync with.
Transfer the data from the computer you have been syncing with to the new one, then set up a new sync relationship.
