Calendar adds on iPhone don't post to outlook calendar-but to active appts

the appointments I add on iPhone will show on active appointments on Outlook 2003 but not the Day/week/ month view. Also, if I change default on iPhone to Home calendar the appointments show there as well. This is a strange problem. I have a gen 1 16GB iPhone, updated to REv 2.0 and updated iTunes. Anybody help with this very strange occurence???

  • Calendar items added on iPhone don't show in Outlook

There are four different color calendars showing on my iPhone 3GS. The items I add from my work PC on my Outlook calendar are blue. The items I add to my calendar on the iPhone are red. The red items do not show on my Outlook calendar. I've tried showing only the blue calendar, and adding the item on my iPhone, but it defaults back to the red calendar. How can I get appointments I add from my iPhone to show on my Outlook calendar?

Thank you! I had done a search but didn't find that earlier thread. The calendar items posted from my PC were blue, so I switched my default calendar to the blue calendar. I added a calendar item on my iPhone and it showed up on my calendar as blue. Before it was showing up as red. I'm sure this will be in my Outlook calendar on Monday.

  • Contacts added in iPhone don not sync into Outlook on PC

Has anyone else had this issue: I have added new contacts into my iPhone and have tried to sync the iPhone with Outlook and the newly added contacts do not show up in Outlook Contacts. Is there a method to force sync of newly added contacts?
    Thanks
    Robert

Yes, the Sync with Outlook is checked on the info tab. My contacts from Outlook have been synced with my iPhone, it is just these newly added contacts on the iPhone did not sync into Outlook.

  • I am unable to add contacts with their phone numbers. I add one press done and then it shows up but when I add another one the first one is deleted. How can I add them and make sure they stay.  Upper left hand corner there is partial circle w/ arrow

    Hi,
Troubleshooting a start up script can be difficult. There are some third party programs that also keep logs of start up programs, however for Firefox this may be different.
Is Firefox a startup program? [http://www.winxptutor.com/msinfo32.htm]
Its also possible to check the Web developer tools for any scripts in a page: [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Debugger]
In the control panel there is also Administrative tools to view event logs, but this may be something a local technician can walk you through.

  • I have used the Apple Configurator to add my iPhone and AppleTV to the corporate network but some services do not work.

    Hi,
Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer support.
I have used the Apple Configurator to add a profile to both my iPhone 5 and AppleTV (both with latest OS) to enable them to be on our corporate network.
I can now airplay from my Mac to the TV and my iPhone to the TV.
The phone can access the internet fine and the AppleTV can access YouTube and Photo Stream without any issues.
THE PROBLEM: The AppleTV cannot access the iTunes Store and the iPhone cannot get e-mail (either from Exchange server or from iCloud (or Gmail).
Thanks again for any support in rectifying the issue.
    Tim

Yes, it's pretty much the same with photos, you can't save them to iCloud. Again you're better using something like dropbox.
There is a photo feature with iCloud call photo stream, however it only saves your most recent photos, 1,000 and your last 30 days.

  • Installed Windows 8.1 and Outlook 2013 - have to use iCloud Outlook Add-in to sync my Iphone 5 with Outlook - reminders work on iPhone, but reminder window & email reminders don't work in Outlook 2013. Help

Using windows 8.1 and outlook 2013 with iCloud Outlook Add-in so that my iPhone 5 will sync with outlook. Now reminders work on iPhone 5, but don't work in outlook 2013. Help, I've tried everything I can think of or found on the internet.

    Hi,
Please follow the steps below to make sure the reminders have been enabled in Outlook:
On the File tab, click Options.
Select Advanced in the Outlook Options dialog box.
In the Reminders section, select Show reminders.
    Click OK.

As mentioned in the thread, you can try these steps:
Use MFCMAPI to delete the Reminders Folder, then run "outlook.exe /resetfolders" to recreate this folder:
    Download MFCMAPI:http://mfcmapi.codeplex.com/releases/view/118446

  • After installing iCloud on PC, appointments are grayed out in my Outlook iCloud calendar; don't show up on iPad calendar but do show up on iPhone calendar

I have been working on this issue for DAYS and have searched the web and this support community but can find no answers.  I have a PC, iPad, and iPhone.  I installed iCloud on my PC so that I could sync calendars, contacts, and maybe tasks.  Nothing I have tried has worked.
The iCloud calendar that appeared alongside my Outlook calendar on my PC has all of my Outlook appointments - but they are all grayed out.
The appointments that were on both my iPhone and my Outlook calendar are now grayed out on my Outlook calendar - but if I close my iCloud calendar in Outlook, these appointments are no longer grayed out.  These appointments now appear twice on my iPhone.
The appointments in my Outlook calendar appear in my iPhone calendar but do not show up in iCloud in my web browser nor on my iPad (not even grayed out).
My contacts appear to have synced from Outlook to iPhone - but have not synced with iCloud online nor my iPad.
    This is beyond frustrating.
    Some basics:
    Windows 7 Enterprise, 32 bit
    Outlook 10
iCloud is enabled on the iPhone and iPad
phone and pad operating systems are up to date
I turned off and then restarted my iPad - didn't work
I turned off and then restarted my PC - didn't work
I uninstalled and then reinstalled iCloud on my PC - didn't work

I'm having the identical events...Outlook calendar entries grayed out on my PC installed iCloud and absent on my iPhone. iPhone entries do show up in Outlook.

  • I just installed Icloud on my Iphone and PC (all versions as required) I checked mail, caledar and task. Outlook shows an Icloud calendar but none of the events that are on my phone calendar. Email is not syncing from phone to pc either. What do i do?

My iphone4 and my ipad mini were synced to my computer, but now I don't seem to be able to see all of my content nor my photo stream.  I did see everything there several weeks ago, so I know it worked. How do I access those from my computer.  I can't find how to sign on.
This is the article that will assist with this part of your post:

I signed on to iCloud, but it only shows the icons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find Phone, Numbers, Pages and Keynotes. Where's everything else ?
What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.
    deltajane wrote:
I want to delete photos that are on my iphone, by doing so from the computer, not my phone.
Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone.

  • IPhone won't sync with Outlook calendars

My iPhone was set up and syncing fine with my work email address (Outlook 2010). Then I had a second email account added to my Outlook so that I could get within an agency's address book and such. Once that happened, it stopped syncing. I've tried clicking in iTunes to "Replace information on this iPhone" and resetting the sync history. No dice. I've tried uninstalling iTunes and Apple device support and reinstalling, and that didn't help. In iTunes I have the choice of All calendars or Select calendar, but only one calendar (called "Calendar") is my option, and it doesn't sync either of my Outlook calendars.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Just to add to this. Another thing I thought of, is:
If your outlook is connecting to an Exchange server (this includes hotmail services, MSN services and Live services) did you set up the iPhone mail account as 'exchange too'?
If so, the iTunes won't need to sync mail data, calendars and tasks with your iPhone as all of this data is stores centrically on the server. Your iPhone only pulls the last 'x amount of days' OR the exchange server pushes the last 'x amount of days' worth of data.
Because of this, there is nothing to sync. When you add a contact to iCal on the iPhone, it should sync with the server. IF NOT, check yours ync settings on the iphone mail, calendars and contacts setting for that particular account.
OTHER SCENARIO: This applies to WebDAV calendars too.
OTHER SCENARIO No 2: Read my previous post. If that doesn't work, then I would suggest referring to Microsofts Outlook KB's about external programs being blocked access to Outlooks Calendars Stores.

  • Notes added to contact on iPhone don't make it to computer

    Hi all,
If I create a new contact on my iPhone, and add a note field, any notes I put there will show upon the contact's card in my Address Book the very next time I sync. Any notes I add to the contact on the computer sync over to the phone no problem.
BUT... notes I add to an existing contact on the iPhone, don't sync back to the contact in Address Book.
    Am I missing something?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chip

A couple of things that might help out.
First try resetting your iphone by holding down the home button and power button at the same time until you see just the apple logo in the middle of the screen.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1737
Also, you can try resetting the sync history on your computer.
To do this quit all the applications you have open on the computer.
Then open isync found in your applications folder.
    Next open the isync preferences.
You should see a button to reset sync history.
It might take a few seconds for this button to become available.
Click the button to reset sync history.
    Quit isync.
Now open itunes, connect the iphone and sync contacts again.
    Hope this helps.

  • IPhone no longer syncs with Outlook Contacts/Calendar

For months I was syncing with my computer at home for music and videos, then I bring my iPhone to work and sync my Outlook Contacts and Calendar.
Now, when I plug in my iPhone on my work computer, everything operates as it used to, it still says it's syncing contacts, then syncing the calendar, but after it's done, when I look at the calendar or contacts in my iPhone, nothing has changed. It's simply not syncing with Outlook anymore, even though the status bar at the top of iTunes says it is syncing.

It appears I have solved the issue myself and thought I would share the solution in case anyone runs into this problem.
In Outlook, I only have one profile. However, Outlook somehow had some settings changed where it prompted me for which profile I wanted to use each time I started Outlook (even though I only have one profile). Because it was prompting me to choose when I start Outlook, I am guessing that when iTunes tried to access Outlook, it was also prompting iTunes to choose which profile to use as well. Since iTunes didn't know which profile, it wasn't syncing properly (note, iTunes never asks you which profile you want to use).
To fix this, I went to the control panel, double clicked the mail icon, clicked the button that says "Show Profiles". I highlighted the only profile I have listed in the drop-down menu and checked the box that says "Always use this profile".
I then sync'd iTunes with my phone and the calendar and contacts finally updated!

Someone stole my iPhone I have find my iPhone app but it's not working how can I add my iPhone to d app from my iPad???

    Having the app is irrelevant.
The ONLY thing that matters is whether "Find My iPhone" was enabled on the missing device before it was lost/stolen.  If it was not enabled, there is nothing that can be done.
