Calendar Agenda View - Lollipop on Z3 compact

I'm new here so please be gentle!!
I've read that the Agenda view inthe Lollipop calendar app has been removed. I can confirm this, but was hoping there would be a way to get it back again as this was the only viw I previously used.
Is it possible or do I now need to install a different calendar app?

The second choise!

  • Palm Pre Calendar Agenda View

There is a very desperate and valid desire for the Pre to show calendar events in "agenda view".  An upcoming event listing is very quick and useful for planning purposes or answering scheduling questions on the fly.  PALM -PLEASE make this addition!

Here here! A huge feature for anyone with a packed schedule, especially if it's in 15 minute incremental appointments. Clicking around each one to find what you're looking for is a nightmare. Sizeable oversight in my eyes.

  • Outlook Calendar Agenda bug?

Clicking the option to display tasks in Outlook calendar agenda view will work until the device is reset. Though the option is still checked, the tasks don't show up. I must go into option unclick the option, save, then click the option, then save, before tasks will show up in again in calendar agenda view. Only to disappear again when the device is reset (most of the time, not with all resets).
Anyone else have this problem, or better yet, a solution?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
First please make sure your Windows and Office are both fully patched.
I also suggest you confirm that the time zone settings for your computer's system clock and your Outlook Calendar are the same.

  • Is there an agenda view in calendars on the iPhone 5s?

On the iPhone 5s in calendars is there an "agenda view"?

Thank you for getting back to me. You are absolutely correct with your descrption. My terminology comes from being a long time Blackberry user where "agenda item" are your upcoming events and appointments. I find this view helpful when looking for specific items.
I am feeling there are so many things my new iPhone can do that I have yet to learn. There are so many settings available to me that it seems overwhelming. One issue that I seem to be having is with the battery draining. I wish there was a setting or button to press for energy saver mode. There are settings within each app to adjust the battery useage and within each category such as Notification Center, etc. I guess what I am trying to say is I wish the phone would learn from the apps I use everyday versus once in a while and adjust the battery useage accordingly. Being more intuitive comes to mind. Dare I say I want my iPhone to read my mind and know whatt I am trying to do. LOL

  • Agenda view in calendar

Is there a way to view my calendar events in an agenda view that I was able to do with PalmOS?  Is there an app to download?

The only thing I know of is the Agenda app that is available via homebrew.

  • Agenda view in Calendar, Help!

This new BB 10 Calendar is horrible compared to my 9900. Adding simple appointments takes much more time and it is quite cumbersome and this is the biggest drawback so far for me.
    1. In the Agenda view how can I force it to show all my future appointments? On the 9900 in agenda view it would display all the future appointments in the future years and it was easy to see everything in one screen. With BB10 this is near impossible and you have to keep scrolling by month to month in hopes of finding the appointment. So is there a way to display all the future appointments in one screen?
    Thanks

I figured it out...zooming in/out using pinch and zoom on the calendar vertically increases/reduces the granularity. I now have meeting titles showing up again for my 30 minute appointments.

  • Ios 7 Calendar year view lost gradient colours

Noticed that on ios 7 the calendar year view no longer shows the gradient colours.
This was very cool feature so you could have an overview of how busy was my agenda.
Any idea if this is a setting that needs to be activated somewhere or is it totally gone?
If not year view seems pretty useless...

When you restarted the app did you quit it first?
I would first quit the app then reset the phone.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • Calendar List View on iPad

On my iPhone I have list view permanently turned on, so I have a rolling daily simple list of events to easily scroll through and manage my daily activities.
On my iPad, which you would think would have an even BETTER calendar view, not so much...I can GET list view turned on by selecting the magnifying glass, but you wind up with this little scrolling area the runs down the upper right hand corner of the screen.  The rest of the screen is wasted with any of four other useless views.
I've looked into calendar app alternatives and downloaded/purchased a few but nothing seems to provide that simple rolling list of daily events like my iPhone, in something that makes use out of a decent portion of the iPad's screen.  And is it my imagination or did this list view used to work, or work better, before one of the recent iOS upgrades?  I see some chatter about this but I'm not sure.
Bottom line - how do I get a decent sized list view rolling calendar of events for the iPad, much the same as my Calendar is setup on my iPhone?

The LAST place that I would ever have expected a solution to these issues?
MIcrosoft. Yes, Microsoft, I kid you not.
The new Microsoft for Outlook iOS app has a Calendar "agenda" layout for iPad that's BETTER than the agenda view that comes with the stock iOS Calendar app on the iPhone. The overall look and feel of Outlook for iOS is just fantastic. They're still working through a few very minor tweaks but get this - you can actually contact them directly, through the app, lodge complaints, make suggestions, etc. and they will get back to you, I'm talking actual tech support resources, via messaging within the app, for real, in less than a day.
    MIcrosoft. Go figure.

  • Calendar: Month view Needs Daily Items on Side

This is a "problem" on N8 and E7 and X6 (as far as I have noticed)
or probably all Symbian^3 phones....The Calendar month view simply shows a table of each month with dates sorted in columns of dayOfWeek.
This view takes up the full screen space.
I would like to request this view be similar to E72
    1. When user select a date in the month -> another part of the screen would display the agenda of that date.

I have the same think as I have upgraded my N97 to E7 couple weeks ago
the month view in S^3 Calendar is not forthright as that in S60 5th

  • Go to today/date not working in agenda view

    BB Curve 8310
I have my calendar set to default to the agenda view when I open the Calendar. When it opens it automatically goes to Oct 31 which is the first entry in my calendar rather then the current date. I go to the menu and select Today and it still remains on Oct 31. I then go to the menu and select Go To Date and the current date defaults as the option, select OK and it still remains on Oct 31. I have to manuall scroll down the current date.
In the day, week, etc views the Today and Go To Date functions work fine. If I set my calendar to default to Day view or last or something else it opens on the correct or last day fine too.
Something is jacked with my Agenda view. HELP!!!
I even tried to delete events prior to the current date to see if this would make them go away and resolve my issue but when I select the Delete Prior and confirm the Delete nothing happens. All prior events are still there.

are you sure your Blackberry did not have Oct, 31 as the current date ?

  • Agenda view?

I love the agenda view that most PDAs (Blackberry, Treo) offer, but can't find something similar in iCal. How do I get iCal to display a "today" screen, listing everything that I have to do in a simple list?
There is a related discussion here, but it pertains to email notifications, which I do not want:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2296103&#2296103
Also, I would like to be able to view all of the events from a single calendar as a list. How does one do this?
    Thanks!
    Clay

Let's see - how do I say this without treading too heavily on the terms of use of Apple Discussions?
Watch for information out of the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) next week, at which the first public demonstration of Mac OS X 10.5—code named Leopard—will be offered. iCal 3 has apparently been rewritten from the ground up, and will offer substantial changes to the interface as well as collaborative features.

  • Curve 9320 Any browser that shows Google Calendar month view?

Has anyone found a browser that will show the Google Calendar month view on the Curve? Here, the default browser will show Google Calendar onl in a much inferior agenda view, with no way I can see to select any other view.
    Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I do have data defined. However, type is not. The specs don't seem to make it necessary to specify both, but if that helps I can. The webconsole shows one error:
Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. That is an error in the jquery javascript code though.
Firebug doesn't show anything in its console.
I used iframe and the behavior is exactly sthe same. I'm beginning to think this is a google calendaring issue instead.
    Thanks again.

  • Change calendar month view in iOS 6.

Can calendar month view be changed in iOS 6? I want my weekend to complete the weeks as I am able to do in iCal.

I have the same problem. What happened?!?!?
This is terrible and only occurred over last few days.
If you hit magnifying glass goes to search, if you hit the computer icon goes as far as split screen.
Tried to go under general to see if calendar view options but nothing....
This is horrendous for people that have more than two items in a day ( how about the ENTIRE world)!!!
    Please fix!!!

Unfortunately, that's the way the cookie crumbles nowadays. Sir Jony Ive's GUI design for iOS7 has been met with much skepticism (to say the least). But until the company sees the compelling need for an adjustment or reversal, it "ain't happenin' ". So amble over to the feedback page ( http://www.apple.com/feedback/ ) and make your displeasure known to the company, OR make it known by not purchasing its products. Because as long as the iGadgets continue selling as fast as they can make them, they will see no need for change.
BTW, do note you are NOT talking to Apple here. This is just a user-to-user forum.
Edit: for now, you can also try out any of the alternate calendaring apps available in the App Store.

  • IPhone Calendar List View Extends Back Only One Year

My iPhone calendar List view extends back approximately one year despite the fact that I have calendar entries extending back to 1999 and that older data is visible under the Day and Month views. This is a problem because the only search mechanism in iPhone calendar is through the List view. Therefore, any search I conduct extends back only to the data in the List view ... which means back only one year.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how I could change this such that the List view extends to include ALL of my calendar entries and is in conformity with the Day and Month views? (I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to "correct" this, but perhaps Apple has designed it this way to speed-up the searching in List view ... I'm not certain.)
I am currently running the most recent iOS update, am syncing my iPhone calendar via MobileMe, have upgraded to the new version of the MobileMe calendar, and have ALREADY reset my sync. history, deleted my iPhone calendar and re-synced it, etc. These don't resolve the problem.

I've noticed that the date to which the List View will "look back" will change depending on software updates or syncs.
For instance, a few weeks ago my List View went back to December 2009 ... now it goes back to Jan. 2010 (i.e. I lost a month of "look back"). I do not specifically recall what triggered this change, but I reset my sync. log during this period.
If you make no changes to the sync. log or update the software, the List View start date will stay constant I believe. For instance, if the List View goes back to Jan. 1, 2010 right now it should stay that way until you reset the sync. log or update the iPhone software. Theoretically then the List View can "look back" much longer than 12 months assuming you make no changes to the sync. log or update the software. Of course, this doesn't address our issue here, but I thought I would point out that there seems to be a consistent pattern here and not some random bug screwing things up.
I'm still thinking that this is the way Apple intended it to work. In other words, that Apple felt it necessary to limit the calendar search feature to approximately 12 months worth of calendars. I hope I'm wrong.
