Calendar alert only one second.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Delete the intellisync folder, and go through the setup wizard again.
Select only calendar, one day prior and past. Set up for one way device to Outlook.
Set conflict resolution to notify you. If successful. Try the one way device to Outlook sync
for the full calendar, again with notification to you for conflict, that way you can keep
unwanted deletes from occurring. If successful. Go to the device setup wizard and
set up for the normal two way sync for all apps. I do recommend keeping the conflict
resolution to notify you. It can be very useful in keeping small problems for becoming

Hi ,
The Managers want to see at least 3 months for the leave , in order to schedule resources/coverage .MSS iView 'Team Calendar' display only one Month . Can we change the number of months ? or use another tool/functionality via the portal ?

In SAP standard config there is no option so as to display more than one month on in Team calender iView.
In you case you will have to do development.

DVR records series for only one second

I am new to fios. I have several series scheduled to record but when I go to watch, I find that only one second has been recorded. Anyone have an idea as to what's going on? Thanks.

Sorry to hear about the recording troubles you are having. There are a few things that would need to be checked
1) tune to the channel you are trying to record to make sure you are subscribed to it
2) try watching one of the shows live that you are recording to see if there's a problem with its feed
3) perform the auto correct by pressing menu, then go to CUSTOMER SUPPORT, then IN HOME AGENT, then SET TOP BOX AUTO CORRECTION. Please let us know if further assistance is required.

Monitor stays on for only one second

I have an hp pavilion f1503 and suddenly the monitor is staying on for one second and goes blank. If I turn the power to the monitor off and then on again it will stay on for one second and go blank again. I can click and operate it in one second increments but that's it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

yep -same thing here - comes on normal, after one second, goes blank. No matter the PC hooked to does the same thing. But here's the twist - the monitor is actually still displaying the images. If you shine light on it, you can see the screen changes taking place (I hooked mine to my sony laptop - hear that HP? Sony) and i could Juuuuust see the images on rthe HP monitor. That doesnt help me of course - the monitor is only 3 years old and has had very light use. I should also mention that the tower (pavillion a1000) also just died. Cant recover it. Gonna try wiping the hard drive and reinstall the operating system for the third time but if that does not do it, you can look for the parts on e-bay. What a great investment.
For the record, any HP product that I have ever owned has performed poorly, has been loaded with bugs from all their superfluous software, lasted a fraction of the time it reasonably should, and their support is god awful. Hence the Sony Vaio I bought just the other day.

Calendar Invitation - Only one organizer allowed in scheduling object resource

Hello everybody,
Server is Mac OS 10.8.5 with Server.app 2.2.2
One User is creating an event and is inviting other colleagues and is setting the Place to "xyz".
When the users are getting the invitation in iCal a error message "CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation" is coming up, with "ignoring", "back to server" etc ...
When having a look at the Client Error log this shows up:

Someone an idea why it says "Only one organizer allowed in scheduling object resource" ? The place for the meeting isn't a resource that's created in the Server.app, instead it's a free word.
The attendees shouldn't get that error about a resource or am I missunderstand something?

From your description, I would like to verify if you grant users some permissions (such as Editor, Owner) some days or weeks ago when they can directly book resource meeting in OWA. If yes, please check whether these permissions are there after Exchange
upgrading.
I have some tests in my environment using Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010. If I don't grant amy01 any permission to room mailbox's calendar, I can book resource meeting directly on Outlook but not in OWA.

I have tried to limit calendar to only one item on notifications screen (ios 8), and even to turn it off, no joy.

The Calendar seems to show on the notifications screen, with room for 3 entries, regardless of settings. Any way to limit it to one, or get it off the notifications screen?

You're talking about two different things: notifications and widgets. The lock screen will only show notifications that you've enabled to show there. When you open notification center, there are two views: "Today" and "Notifications." Today shows widgets. That is where you see the calendar with room for events. It is basically a preview of your upcoming calendar. Under notifications is where you will get notifications if upcoming appointments that have reminders. The settings for each screen are different.
To control your calendar notifications, go to settings--notifications--calendar.
To control the widget, pull down notification center and select edit.
You can turn off the widget but still receive notifications in notification center and on your lock screen or vice versa.

IOS 4.2.1 - Calendar alerts *still* one hour early - help?

Upgraded to 4.2.1 in hopes of squashing this bug, but no go. Yes, I have tried all the obvious solutions: manual time, automatic time, making sure time zones are the same for the clock and the calendar prefs. Nothing works. Any advice?
Just to be clear -- this is not an alarm bug, and these events aren't recurring.
While were at it, can we change the naming convention of "on date of event" to "at time of event"? I mean, really... isn't every alarm set at various points throughout a single day "on date of event"?

Last night I updated my iPhone 3GS to the iOS 4.2. Now, the phone shows one hour early. Also the events on iCal on the phone show one hour early. In the mean time, the events on iCal on my Macbook (OS 10.6.5) and on my Mobile Me account show the correct time.
I live in Republic of Panama and we don't keep daylight savings time.
Does anyone now how to fix this?
Is Apple going to fix this?

[bo 6.1] Alert only one column

I have a crosstab, that in column has a dimension, named "Country", having 3 elements, so I have 3 column in my crosstab ("Italy", "USA", "UK")
Then I created an alerter:   =(COUNT(myMeasure) WHERE(<Country> = "USA")) > 10
The alerter is applied over the 3 columns, but I want apply it to "USA" column only.
What I have to do to color the "USA" column only and leave the other two column blank?

I tried testing the issue on Efashion universe; however, on XIR2 as BO 6.1 is no more a supported version.
Although you can try implementing the same in BO 6.1.
Steps taken at my end:
1. Create a crosstab with Year,State and Sales Revenue as objects.
2. Create a condition variable like alert with formula {=<Sales Revenue> Where (Year="2001")}
3. Create an alerter as follows:
         Sales Revenue >= 661249.8 = <alert>
     WHERE Operator1 is >=, Value1 is 661249.8, Operator2 is =, Value2 is <alert>.
Taking your formula into consideration:
you can use 10 in place of 661249.8 as a filter and {COUNT(myMeasure) WHERE(<Country> = "USA"} in place of <alert>.
Please test the above steps and let me know the results.

When accessing my office on outlook web access, my calendar shows only one day at a time. Can I view a week or month at a time?

I am able to access my Outlook email, calendar and contacts but some of the functionality I enjoyed on my old PC disappeared when I switched to an iMac.

I've upgraded to Firefox 8 but don't see any difference. Can you provide some guidance on changing the calendar view?

Calendar syncs only one way

Just got into iCloud. Calendar from iMac went into the cloud calendar without problem. Adding new event from iMac or MBA goes t the cloud canendar without problem. However, the entry from MBA doesn't show in the iMac canedar nor does the iMac entry show in MBA calendar.
Uff Da!! While I was typing this both showed up. That's about 45 minutes after I entered them. Is that delay expected? The new events showed up almost immediately in the iCloud site calendar but it took the 45 minutes to get into other device calendars.

My "refresh calendars" said "push." No idea what that means but I changed it to 5 minutes. Interestingly, shortly after sending that I tried again and the response was about 3 minutes. I live in the country, telephone and ISP service sometimes erratic. Perhaps the problem is between me and the main digital highway? Well, anyway that's an easy way to pass blame without much chance of being called on it.
Fred, the boat is on jackstands, covered in snow. Will be moving her to Bayfield (Apostle Islands) next spring. Hope for lots of mini cruisiing.

My calendar syncs only one direction (mac to iPhone) but not the other direction?

I used to run a sync of my iPhone and my newly entered appointments would sync both directions whether I had entered them on my iphone or on my mackbook PRO.
Now when I enter an entry on my phone it does not upload to my Mac Calendar. but if I entered the appointment on the MAC then it does sync to my iphone5.
Not sure if it changed after an ios upgrade or when. Tried it several times both wirelessly syncing as wel as with a USB cable.
Any ideas if this is a setting?

If you are syncing using USB you can sync your iPhone to your computer which will update iCal with the iPhone's calendar. Then when you plug in your iPad and sync your iPad, it too will update with the same information from iCal. ICal sync between two people if only one person has a .Mac account

Is there a way for two people to sync/edit iCal calendars if only one person has a .Mac account? I'd only want to selectively share/sync part of my iCal calendar and not the entire iCal calendar.
Any ideas?

Oh I turned on airplane mode and disconnected from the internet just to be sure sync doesn't get stuck.
Asked me to resolve 6 conflicts.. that's a good sign. It is taking a long time though. I hope it won't take so long every time I go from one computer to another. Otherwise it is easier to pass the files via iChat.
The file for address book is addressbook data in library/applicationsupport/address book
for iCal I make an export VCal file and then on the other computer delete the calendar and import the new one.
On the computer with Music I set it to manage manually.
OK I think I will have to do it like that because this took forever then it said it would have to modify 836 entries on my calendar for what was almost the same file.
The photo sync is annoying but I just turn off iPhoto when it asks to find my library (or you can make another program be the default program when you attach a camera and that program will come on then you can just quit it). I find the auto photo sync annoying as it takes so long and I would rather do that manually.

Controlling # of calendar alert vibrations - e71

Is there a way to have the calendar alerts only vibrate x number of times (say 3) instead of constantly - before shutting off?

I don't think the default calandar application has a setting to define the number of vibrations for the alert.
The alert type will depend on the current profile selected.

How do I stop calendar from setting a second alert one day before?

I have iOS 7.0.6 with calendar synced to my gmail account with CalDAV. When I create a new event in the calendar on my iphone, I set either a single alert or none. When I check back a few seconds later, the alert I set has become the "second alert," and the first alert is set to "one day before." Google calendar correctly shows a single alert, the one I set. If I then delete the first alert, it stays deleted. But then if I edit the even in google calendar, the "one day before" alert reappears on the iPhone. (Though still not on Google calendar.)
It's driving me batty with all of these false alarms that are actually for tomorrow's activities. Is there a way to set alarms in iOS 7, or is that just a sacrifice we have to put up with to fix the iOS SSL bug? Should I set the current date in my iPhone to be one day late?

Settings > Mail Contacts, Calendars.
Scroll down to Calendars and this sets default alert times.
If you add an alert to a new appt, it is in addition to the default alert time.
Either turn off default alert time or set the default alert time to when you want you want & don't add alert to the event when you create it

Two iPhones. One account. Can I have separate calendar alerts?

I have a new 4s. My wife has my old 3GS. We are using the same iTunes/iCloud apple I'd account. It's nice because she can make her own calendar and I can make my own calendar. If I don't want to see her calendar I just deselect it in the calendars to view menu. I can see her stuff if I want to and she mine by going the other way. The problem is Calendar ALERTs. Even if I've deselected her calendar, my iPhone still beeps a reminder at me from one of her Calendar alerts and vice versa. Is there some way to make it so that the alerts only occurr if I've selected her calendar to view?
I also have kinda the same problem with reminders. She gets mine and I get hers even though I've got two separate "lists" of reminders. Can I stop that?
Also a similar deal with contacts. Can we have separate contacts lists and only see the others when we want to?
