Calendar and email not working on ipad

What's going on....can't use ipad now.

In Settings>Mail, Contacts...  there is a section that lists email accounts that the Mail app accesses.  You should have one for Yahoo, just look through its settings and be sure you have the right servers (outgoing and incoming) listed.  You get those addresses from Yahoo, go to their web site and look around for info on accessing their email servers.

  • Email not working on ipad anymore

    I recently had to change my email password because somehow my email got hacked on one of my apple devices. I have a MacBook
    , iPhone and iPad. Anyway, I went to access my email on my ipad after I changed my password, and it asked to verify the password which I did and it doesn't recognize it. So, I remove the email account on the ipad and try to set it up again and it still does not recognize it. I tried the old password too but that didn't work. Error msg states "user name or password to your pop3.live.com account is incorrect". Please help. Thanks

    Try to use an alternate Internet connection if available:
    Try a different Wi-Fi connection
    If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
    If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
    Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Delete the affected email account from your device.
    Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
    Add your account again.

  • Bbm and email not working

    hi all, woke up monday morning and my bbm and emails have stopped sending and recieving i have a data plan active and wifi on and still nothing. thought i would leave it a couple of days and see if it started working again but still not working. does anyone know what i should do? thanks

    Have you contacted your wireless provider to ensure there are no problems with your data plan?  From the home screen, what does your network indicator show in the upper right corner? Is it in UPPER CASE or lower case?

  • 9320 BBM and Email not working on wifi with valid data subscrition

    Hi!
    Please I need your help.
    My phone is a blackberry curve 9320. I have a valid data plan back home in my country that expires 7th July 2013. While abroad I intended to wifi for BBM. However, this has not been possible for though connected to wifi BBM and my email do not work. Other applications namely facebook and whatsapp work very well. I am also able to get on the internet. Please urgent help needed.

    I believe there is a problem at  RIM at the BIS data level I have reported it to my network operator and they tell me they are dealing with Blackberry with the issue. Suggest you report it to your operator as well the more report the problem hopefully the quicked it will get fied.

  • Pan and Zoom, not working on Ipad 2

    Hello,
    Im having trouble getting a "pan only" to work on an image, on Ipad 2, it works fine when I preview it on my Mac, but when I go to double check it and preview it on my Ipad 2, tapping the image does nothing but bring up the preview app menu, and page srubber bar (the thing that lets you scrub page left and right).
    All Im doing is creating a container/frame and inserting an image within that, its no bigger than 1024 by 1024, and selecting pan only. The magazine its self scrolls left and right. Like I said, it has no issue being previewed on a Mac, the trouble is on Ipad 2.
    Am I doing something wrong? If so, is there a tutorial (in book form?) other than videos(where there is no trouble shooting)?

    I am trying to create a scrollable frame for my iPad presentation.
    First created blank frame, then a larger textbox, cut the textbox, pasted it into the smaller frame. When I go to the 'Overlay Creator' and open 'Pannen en zoomen' (Dutch for pan and zoom), all options are grey and not selectable.
    I watched many tutorial, all explaining the same, seems so easy, but I guess I'm doing something wrong, or maybe I have an old version.
    See screenshots.
    I tried different selections of the containerbox (with open and closed arrow, frame box, container box), but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
    I also just downloaded the 'AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-All' for any updates, but still not working.

  • BB 8520 Curve Wireless Sync of Calendar and Contact not working

    Network: Mobilink - Pakistan
    Can any one help me out, how I can get wireless sync working on my BlackBerry.
    I have two emails accounts setup 1. [email protected] and 2. [email protected]  where mydomain.com email is also hosted on gmail. I receive emails on both account and able to send as well.
    None of these account contact and calendar are being sync. Previously when GoogleSync app was available I was using that, since Google has discontinued this app, so I have removed the app.
    In calendar on device, I can see both the calendars and Wireless Synchronization: YES, but no update in either side i.e. If I create any entry on mobile it doesn't show on web or any new entry on web, doesn't show on device.
    Very Important: If I access setup on device I don't see Contacts and Calendar under syncronization, however both options are visible if I use https://mobilink.blackberry.com/ to setup/edit email. 
    Looking forward your expert advise to solve this issue.

  • Imessages and facetime not working on ipad 3 mini since update to 8.3

    brand new ipad 3 mini i-messages and facetime was working until update to IOS 8.3. can anyone help. I've restored ipad and set up as new but still same.

    If none of this suggestions help, you are in the same boat a bunch of us are in! We all have newish devices (mostly iPad mini 3) and suddenly can't get into FaceTime or Messages. There's no slider and the sign in just dumps us back to sign in or gives a network error message.
    If that's what's happening, it's probably an AppleID problem. Mine isn't working for FaceTime or Messages on any iPad, but my friend's works on mine. If you go to page 18, you will see what we've tried after 8.2 upgrade

  • Email not working on iPad

    For the third time this year, my iPad does not pick up my BT Mail. I can still get into it through the webpage (so I know it is there), but no synchronisation with the mail program.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mailboxes on the iPad. .... still nothing.  No problem with other service providers, but last BT Mail synchronisation was 14.08 yesterday

    I had similar problem - emails stopped downloading to my BT Internet account on iPhone. I picked up Jumbo's tip (to delete BT Internet account from iPhone and) and add under Yahoo! - it worked! Not at all sure how this happened, but annoyed that BT and/or Yahoo! playing silly beggars with my account. Does not give me confidence! Grateful for Jumbo's tip, anyway, as it was driving me nuts not being able to pick up mail on iPhone for about a week.

    So I've had my blackberry for a couple of moths and everything's been fine.
    Yesterday I stopped receiving emails on my blackberry and I also noticed that my internet wasn't working anymore. It came up with the message 'unable to connec to the internet, please try again later' even though I'm at home and my phone is connected to my WiFi.
    I've looked around the internet for help and tried a hard reset a couple of times, which didn't help anything. I then tried deleting my service book and did the whole Host Routing Table registration again, and I got the blackberry registration email, however I'm still not getting emails. 
    Alot of the help online suggests going to Email Settings and Setting up my email account again, but seeing as my internet isn't working it comes up with an error message 'your device had a problem connecting to the server' when I try to launch the Email setup. 
    I saw that you could set up your email from your computer but when I tried to do this it didn't have my wireless service provider, BT, listed as an option. 
    This is really really urgent as I really don't know what the problem is and why it's suddenly occurred and what I'm meant to do! Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated! thank you

  • Facetime and imessage not working on ipad

    I updated to ios 7.0.2 and now my iPad iMessage and Facetime isn't working.  Also, my iPad used to sync with my iPhone and the iPad phone number would show up in my iPhone.  Now that's not happening either since the update.  I reset the ipad, started over from scratch and set up from the beginning but nothing...
    I have also watched YouTube video and follow the set up instructions but still no iMessage and Face Time.

    Try Reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

  • Calendar and Book not working

    Please help. After selecting some pics (or an album or event), I click on Book and get the "Choose type" window, but none of the listed choices are available. Clicking on Calendar doesn't do anything at all, while clicking on Card works just fine. What's wrong?
    I have all the latest versions installed. Removing com.apple.iphoto.plist in Prefs won't help. I have checked the Themes folder in Application Support and there are 298 theme files there. I've done a fresh re-install of iPhoto as I was having printing problems but that is OK now. Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated, as I'd love to have the hardcopy pics available ASAP.

    The themes for the books and calendars have been deleted some how. Go to the HD/Library/Application/iPhoto and check the Themes folder. If it's empty move it to the desktop, delete the iPhoto application and any file with iPhoto in it that resides in the HD/Library/Receipts folder. Then reinstall iPhoto from the disk it came on. Run the latest update, 7.1 and repair permissions. That will bring back your book and calendar capability. I just finished doing the same thing.
    Remember to remove the Themes folder first even if empty.

    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

    I'm having a somewhat annoying issue with my iPad. It's not receiving any mail via push, instead I have to manually fetch them every time. In spite of the push-settings and rebooting. For some reason my iPhone does get the push email, and so when I hear the new mail-sound from my iphone, I go check it from my iPad. Frankly, it seems a bit redundant.
    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I have done standard correction stuff.
    eg:
    - Restarted the iPad
    - Disconnected the WiFi & 3G connections. Then reconnected.
    - etc

  • IPhone 3Gs & OS4: internet and email not working

    Hi all,
    I upgraded my 3Gs to OS4 without hassle, and everything is still working, besides some of the apps (which I assume are awaiting updates).
    However, my wife had a 3G which she broke and was given a new 3Gs as an insurance replacement. I restored her file from backup I made of her 3G. I then updated firmware to OS4.
    Now for some reason it's not accepting the details for the outlook exchange she had setup (work email) and yahoo mail is playing up too. Safari doesn't seem to work with either wifi or 3G.
    Is anything I can do to sort this out? I've tried the restore to factory settings,but that doesn't seem to reset the OS on the handset just all the user details.
    Any suggestinons appreciated.

    called AT&T to check if they have any issue on the 3G data network, then they suggested me to backup the phone and restore as new, it worked for me although it's a long process
