Calendar app missing Fathers Day

The calendar app that came with my iPad does not identify Father's Day although it does identify Mother's Day. Is this an oversight?

You sent me looking Barry. My husband and I both have the Iphone 5 and I see that his phone has Father's Day while both my phone and my Ipad do not. Maybe you gotta be a male owner to get that day - lol.
Very strange to say the least.

  • Calendar App missing in trial

    Hello,
I'm new to Sharepoint and am trying to get it set up. I've downloaded a trial version and have managed to get a little bit done. I would like to set up calendars, however, when I go to Add An App, it's not there? Is it only available with the full version?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Calendar App which Shows Day or Week on Startup Screen

Anyone know of an app that shows the current day or week on the startup screen? In other words, when I power on in the morning, I'd like to see the current day's or week's events pop up.

There is no app as that screen cannot be modified by any apps.

  • Why is Cinco de Mayo on the calendar but not Fathers Day? Crazy talk, haha.

Father's Day is not on the calendar. I was wondering why. Siri knows the date though. June 15, 2014 for those without Siri.

  • Calendar.app not showing First Day of Week selected in iCal

I have selected Monday as the first day of the week in iCal. After syncing, Calendar.app on my iPhone 4 does not show Monday as first day of week. My original iPhone 2G (3.1.3, jailbroken) does show the correct start day, Monday.)
I do not need assistance with my iPhone 2G. I need a solution for my iPhone 4.
How do I get my iPhone 4 to be in sync with my other calendars?

That's a real pain. I'm in Australia and the regional settings have Monday as the first week, which throws me out because all my calendars and even settings in iCal have Sunday as the first day of the week (which is what it's supposed to be). To get what I want, I have to set my country as New Zealand, and this messes up my phone number formats (closest to Australia than any of the others that start the week correctly though). It should be an option in the settings!

  • Calendar App is missing "list" icon

After upgrading to IOS 7.1.2 the Calendar App on my iPhone it does not have the "list" icon anymore, but three icons on the top right hand side:  A screen with lines underneath, the magnifying glass and the plus sign. Before upgrade the "screen with lines underneath" used to be a "just lines", and caused an infinite scroll view beginning on the day you tapped. How could I get back this very useful feature?

Asked and answered here: I did the 7.1.1 update on my iPhone 5s and on my iPad. The calendar on my iphone no longer gives me a list of upcoming/past events. Works okay on my ipad though. Any suggestions on how to get this feature back on my iphone 5s?

  • Calendar information missing, no I cloud backup, settings claims email calendar is still on, option not available in calendar app

So this morning when I went to check my calendar for my schedule it was completely blank. I went to "calendars" at the bottom of the application & it obly had the "birthday" calendar to select, the other three were gone. I checked another way by going into settings and then email, and it claimed that the calendars were selected & up and running, but they are not available to check in the calendar app. I also do not use iCloud because I do not have the space for everything or even my calendar because my family has 8 different apple products so the free iCloud data was sucked up extremely fast. What can I do to fix this?! I'm kind of freaking out because the calendars app is pretty much my only way of knowing what time I need to be where & it's all gone!
Last night before I went to bed it was all there. I went on Facebook, candy crush, & the internet for an hour and a half & then preceded to go to sleep. I woke up this morning with my calendar missing.
    Someone please help?

  • IPad calendar app day view does not update to "Today"

Everyday when I open my calendar app in day view, it always show the last date when I view the calendar. It does not automatically switch to Today's date. In other words, if I open the calendar yesterday dec 24, when I open this morning dec 25 the day view still show Dec 24. The icon did change to 25 and Dec 25 is marked blue which means it knows that today is 25. However the day view still show 24. Can anyone please tell me what do I need to do to make the day view automatically update to whatever today's date is? Should I returned my IPad?
    Pleaseeee

No one ever used the calendar app? Can someone please tell me whether or not my calendar app working correctly or do I need to get replacement for my Ipad (4th generation)?

  • Outlook Express 6 is missing calendar app..where do I get it ???????

I have Windows XP sp2, and my calendar seems to be missing from the Outlook Express 6 app. Where can I download the calendar app from? I checked on the Microsoft website, but did not see what I was looking for. Thanks!

Outlook express is an e-mail program. Microsoft Outlook (either a stand-alone version or part of Microsoft Office is the program that will sync contacts and calendar with the iPhone. What, if any, calendar program were you using on your computer before you bought your iPhone?

  • There is an error in calendar app. as it show day 27 of march 2014 twice in Thur and Friday

There is an error in calendar app. as it show day 27 of march 2014 twice in Thur and Friday
    can you check it

    Hello nasriosman,
It sounds like your calendar app is showing incorrect information. I recommend first closing all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Does anyone besides me find it odd that calendar.app assigns a start time for an all day event?

Does anyone besides me find it odd that calendar.app assigns a start time for an all day event?

    Hi SharpBud,
The date for all day event stored in SQL in GMT time, the start time for an all day event returns the start time in GMT time, which is not the current time most likely.
This is a confirmed issue, as a workaround, I would suggest you to use a calculate column for the event for the column, using the following format:
    IF(TEXT(([End Time]-[Start Time])-TRUNC(([End Time]-[Start Time]),0),"0.000000000")="0.999305556",IF([Start Time]=ROUND([Start Time],0),[Start Time],DATE(YEAR([Start Time]),MONTH([Start
    Time]),DAY([Start Time])+1)),[Start Time])

  • CALENDAR APP: I just missed important appointment!

When daylight savings time took effect, all the events in my calendar moved forward one hour! i didn't notice at first, so the events I entered AFTER daylight savings time took effect were correct. I thought I had corrected all of the screwed-up entries, but today I was an hour late for an important medical test, and the hospital could not fit me in when I showed up. The calendar app showed my appointment at 9 am, when I had entered it as 8 am. Did I get a stupid phone instead of a smart phone?

Thank you for your feedback. Adding to what was stated, we apologize you missed your appointment. However, the calendar does not automatically change over to match the daylight savings time. Perhaps update or try syncing your device with the Gmail Calendar App to adjust the entry of the appointment. I am providing a link for more reference. The link is:

  • The Maverick Calendar App-Alert Option-to Open a File-stops working after a few days

The Maverick Calendar App, Alert Option, to Open a File works for a few days, than stops. The Calendar alert still triggers, but the reference to launching the other file disappears. Has anyone found and solved this problem?
This Calendar, Open File Option, worked fine without error in 10.8 and earlier, but I was only given the option to launch an Apple Script.

    Hi Laura,

  • All of my schedule is missing from the calendar app. Why and how do I fix it?

I only noticed at the beginning of this week, but my entire calendar is empty. I didn't have it separated into different parts or anything else special. It is now just an empty blank and it won't allow me to input any new data. I have had everything re-synced, un-synced and re-synced, each time completely exiting the app. I have also turned it off and turned it back on. What else could be done to fix this problem?

Try this: In the Calendar app, tap Calendars at bottom center. Make sure "Show all calendars" is checked.
