Calendar app not working on iPhone 5

Hi,
My calendar does not work on my iPhone 5. It initially only showed one of my calendars. I turned iCloud calendars off and back on and it temporarily showed my other calendars, but they disappeared again. Events that I enter on my calendar directly on my phone have disappeared as well.
Anyone have this issue and found a fix for it?

Never mind on this. I found the issue.
I should have been configuring the Google account on the iPhone by using the "GMail" option instead of the "Exchange" option.

Calendar app not working iphone 4 IOS 7

I just upgraded to IOS 7 on iphone 4 ... i cannot add events in the new calendar app .... i hit the + to add type everything in hit done and when it goes back to calendar view nothing is there ... when i synced some appointments got mixed up and put on wrong days now when i hit that appt it just comes up as event details and i cannot edit or delete .... ive search the internet and it seems no one is writing about how to use the new calendar app i need some direction

I am having the same issue. Every time I add an event, it disappears. The only events that are displayed are the ones prior to the ios7 update and I am unable to delete those events. If I try, they just reappear right after. I restored my phone. Also, rebooted/reset. I tried turning calendars on and off in icloud... I refreshed the calendars in the calendar app. Nothing works. I hope apple gets a solution soon are maybe I just need to download a different calendar app...

Forwarding Exchange calendar invites from calendar app not working

We have Samsung Windows 8 phones and have discovered a problem with forwarding calendar invitations from within the calendar app on Exchange 2010 / ActiveSync.
User A on Exchange 2010 will create a new meeting request and send it to user B. User B will accept the calendar invitation on their Windows 8 phone. User B will then go into the calendar app on their phone and forwards the calendar item to User C. User
C does not receive anything nor does User A receive a notification that their original meeting invite has been forwarded. No error messages are shown on User B's phone. It's as if the forwarded item simply vanishes.
With the same scenario as above, if User B does NOT initially accept the meeting invite from User A and instead immediately forwards the invite to User C from within the MAIL app on his phone, before accepting the meeting, User C receives the invitation
as per normal and User A receives notification that their meeting request was forwarded, as expected.
If User B does NOT initially accept the meeting invite from User A, but then goes into the calendar app on their phone and attempts to forward the meeting request (showing as tentative as they have not accepted it yet), User C still does not receive anything
and User A does not get notification.
This appears to be a bug within the Calendar application on Windows 8 phones as forwarding meeting invites works fine from within the Mail app (provided the user has not accepted the meeting yet - once the meeting has been accepted in the mail app, the item
"disappears" and is no longer accessible except from within the Calendar app).
This is a pretty major issue with heavy calendar users (e.g. executives) as they will be forwarding accepted meeting requests from their calendars and without receiving any error messages will assume the forwarded invitation has gone through, when in fact
it hasn't.

We have reproduced this issue internally and are filing a bug to get this issue fixed. As soon as we have an update to this, we will report back on this thread. Thank you for raising this issue.

Google calendar sharing not working on iPhone 5

My wife and I each had an iPhone 4 for 2+ years. We each have separate Google calendars. We each shared out calendars to the other. We each configured our Google accounts on our phones as Exchange accounts. This configuration allowed us to view each other's calendar, along with our own, in the iPhone Calendar app.
I recently got the iPhone 5. When I configured my Google account as Exchange on the 5, I am only able to view my own calendar.
From the phone, I browsed to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect and ensured that all calendars shared to me were selected for synchronization to my devices.
I've also remove and reconfigured the Exchange account.
My phone is not jailbroken.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Apps not working on iphone.

All my applications aren't working on my iphone 3gs since I downloaded new version. Lost all music also. I deleted apps and reinstalled them but still not working..HELP!!

Did you purchase the Apps under your itunes account or his?

Apps not working on iPhone G4.

Just upgraded to 5.0 software and all downloaded apps (ie Angry Birds, Facebook etc) are not working. Apps that came loaded on phone still work fine. (like camera, mail, etc.)
When I click on an app, it seems like it opens and closes right away. I'm afraid to do a 'restore' for fear of losing all photos.

OS X Mountain Lion calendar app not syncing with iPhone 4 calendar.

After installation I noticed that my OS X calendar was not syncing with my iPhone 4 calendar running version 5.1.1. Any sugestions to fix this issue.

Please note that all my settings are exactly the same as they were in Lion. I do not use iCloud and I like to sync thru iTunes via WIFI and USB. After further research I have discovered that this issue is seems to be with Mountain Lion. Obviously, Apple needs to update iOS 5.1.1 or release a fix for Mountain Lion.

If what razmee209 said dose not work, you could also try the following:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
This deletes all of your preference settings, returning them to the defaults. It will not erase any of your data or apps.

hey kasey, i dont know why you have to do that or why does it not work even with all the right settings but what i know is after that process that i just explained above your problem will be gone and iphone will wifi sync as soon as you enter the wifi zone
the cause of the problem might be ( what i think is ) when you update you iphone software directly from iphone instead through your computer you get this problem because for me also it was working finely until i updated to 5.1.1 from iphone itself and wich caused me so much trouble, well now i have installed IOS6 and working great .evean if you did not update your iphone and still got this problem can be due to the reason that sometimes your iphone or computer cahnges some internet settings on theri on for their best connection which might cause confusion between 2 gadgets .

Verizon fios mobile app not working on iphone, works ok on ipad

The verizon app on the iphnoe gets message about need to connect to FIOS wifi, but I al already connected to the wifi. No problem with my ipad...
I called verizon and they said the problem is with apple, because it works ok in the ipad...

Just check the reviews on the Google Play store. Tons of people reporting probelms with the update to Android 5.0

Not compatible with Android L This was an OK app before I updated my S5 to lollipop. It was a bit glitchy with scheduling recordings and scrolling through TV listings before, but now it is just terrible and does not even allow me to use the app as a remote control and is always crashing. I'm keeping the app because I'm hopeful that they will resolve the compatibility issues because it is pretty convenient having an app running off the WiFi to control the DVR. I will submit a new review once they do.

"restore to factory settings and try again." I contacted FiOS support because after updating my S5 to Lollipop, the app would no longer recognize that I was connected to my FiOS router. As a result, I couldn't change the channels on my FiOS set top box or watch FiOS programs on my phone

Please fix the Lollipop S5 issue The remote portion is the only reason to have this app, and since it had been rendered useless ever since Lollipop was pushed - I have to rate 1 star. Once fixed I will gladly update

IOS 7 apps not working on iPhone 3gs

Hi,
We have developed application supporting framework starts from 4.3, now we need update of application.
Apple forces to mandatory to deploy new or updated applications only from ios 7 sdk and xcode 5.
We have updated my application accordingly for ios 7 sdk in xcode 5. but when we try to test it in iphone 3gs,
UI is not rendering properly. However in the simulator 3.5 inch screen UI rendering normally.
I have also checked on iphone 4S and on it UI is rendering normally only.
So please help me on how to update application for iphone 3gs.

Hi, after I updated ios 7.0.3 in my iPhone 5, few of the apps, viz., EspnCricinfo, BanoCrorepati, Age Calculator, etc., are not opening. When I click, it opens and immediately crashes. I tried to reinstall these apps but result is the same. Please help, thank you.

I would do a full restore instead of a reset. Plug in your phone and Click on restore in the iPhone preferences window. A restore deletes everything and reinstalls a fresh copy of the operating system. Backup your phone before the restore and retrieve your info from the backup after the operating system has been reinstalled.

Some apps not working on iphone 3gs and ipod touch

Since upgrading to latest software on all ipod touches and iphone 3gs; some of my apps appear but I cannot get them to work. I've done all I can to get my apps to open and work. Any ideas?

I also get "cannot connect to iMessage server please try again." I get this when I go to view my account.
