Calendar availability

Since installing Mavericks I seem to have lost a feature of Calendar ie the ability to mark my status as free or busy .. its simply disappeared and not offered as an option. This is causing havoc when I want to show may availabilty to other people. Any clues what is going on and how to get it back??

MSS Team Calendar available for Employees

Hello Colleagues,
We have a requirement to make the "Team Calendar" available to employees view own team data.
Is that possible using just customization and/or iview changes? Or it requires development?
Another solution we've been thinking is creating a "Team User" and assign it to the MSS role in the Portal, and put it in the same hierarchical level as the Team Manager is, and give this user access to the team, in order to make the employees able to see the team calendar whenever they need by logging in as "Team User".
Any comment or suggestion is appreciated.

Team calendar is available as standard for al the employees in his leave request service!

Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available.

I have iCloud calendars and a google calendar, but iTunes says I have no calendars. Endless loop. How do I break out of this?

I tried this but when I go back to check Sync Calenders I get this message:
"No calendars available. Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available. Do you want to open Calendar and create a calendar now?"
When I open calenders it show I have two calender On My Mac.
The same applies to Sync Contacts.
I have tired Restore iPod but that did not make any difference. This problem occurs across all logins on my Mac.
I've Reistalled OS X but that did not help either.

Exchange Calendar availability not working after upgrading to Mountain Lion

After upgrading to Mountain Lion cannot longer see calendar availability on my Exchange account, before upgrading it worked ok - anyone has the same problem?

Had the same problem on 2 Macs (iMac and MBP) after downloading ML last night, could not access my Exchange calendar via iCal. Deleted the accounts from iCal, then reloaded them, now all seems to work

Exchange online and Exchange 2010 on-premise calendar availability

I am running a hybrid exchange 2010 on-premise and online exchange environment. The online exchange users cannot see calendar availability of anybody on premise. The on-premise users can see the online exchange availability. I can see the
calendar if the calendar is shared, but trying to setup a meeting or calendar appointment still shows the unavailable through all days.
All of the users are using office 365 for outlook on premise and exchange online. If it is only working one way, could it be an autodiscover issue where it is not configured correctly on our on-premise exchange 2010 or online exchange? Which
side would be causing the issue?

I am not sure why we have that value for the OriginatingServer. That server is a backup domain controller, not the server that houses the on-premise exchange.

How do I change the originating server to be my exchange server?

"No calendar available"?

I just upgraded to 10.4.6 from 10.3.9, and I'm trying to set up iSync for my Palm Tungsten E. It's always worked fine in the past, but now iSync doesn't seem to find any of my iCal calendars.
When I select my Palm device in the iSync window and check the Calendars box, I get a message that says "No calendar available: Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there is no calendar available to push on the device. Do you want to open iCal and create a calendar now?" It's an odd question, because just launching iSync seems to launch iCal as well. I have several calendars in iCal, and I've used them to sync in my pre-10.4 past.
When I attempt a sync, I get a message saying that "inconsitencies" have been found in my information and the next sync will take longer. (The next sync only results in the same message, as does the one after that, and the one after that ...)
Checking the HotSync log in HotSync Manager for my latest, I find the line, "iSync Conduit: received NULL message, disconnecting..."
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I had the same problem, and then it wentr away and synced error free, but didn't sync any of my ical or address book items. What a pain!!!

My guess is yes.
I downloaded the 2 different Jewish calendars on my phone directly (not on ical and transfer them) and now I can't delete them. Any ideas how?
Is your calendar synced with any calendar program? If so, you may have to go to that program on your computer to delete the old subscriptions. If not, you may just have to live with them, since I am not conversant with removing them from the iPhone without a computer interface.

"No Calendars Available"

Please help! iTunes tells me that I have no calendars or contacts available, but I have plenty of both. The auto-update used to work fine, but stopped a few months ago. I have tried resetting the iPod (clickwheel), but to no avail. The recent updates (2006-1-10) had no effect either. Suggestions??

I finally had to reinstall iCal, but all works now.

ICal Exchange 2007 Calendar Availability

When adding a new event to my Exchange 2007 account through iCal in Snow Leopard, the availabile meeting times show all weekday calendars as busy (shaded gray with diagonal stripes) My calendar shows this as well, but not on weekends. If I pick "Next Available Time" it will come up with an availability on a weekend.
I have access to others calendars as a delegate and know that both myself other invitees are free.
Scheduling a location works just fine for a conference room. But again, it shows all 'people' calendars as unavailable including my own.
Does anyone else have something similar? Am I missing a setting?
I set the Exchange account up though Auto-discovery. I have tried setting up the account additionally using the server we specify through Outlook, and also using the server I spec when connecting through my iPhone. Our company has hosted Exchange, and each of these options yields a different server, but connects with the same result.

I have a similar issue and it's really bothering me now and I have had to go back to Entourage.
We use Exchange 2007 at work and I have get the administrators check my exchange profile and there is nothing wrong in the setting - both Outlook (on Windows) and Entourage behave well, but iCal shows me as busy (or unavailable on Sunday and Monday).
This is a problem when I try and book meetings with people on Monday as my calendar is busy, it shows other as unavailable as well. However when others invite me on Mondays they can see my free slots, so the problem isn't Exchange.
Also, if I book meetings through Entourage - its all good.
I have tried reinstalling iCal from the SL disk but that didn't help either.

IOS 7: Unable to push calendar events to iPhone/ No iPhone Calendars Available

Hi, so I have an iPhone that is not properly merging with iCloud calendar events. As in: the events in iCloud are not pushed down to the iPhone Calendars app.
I can see the events via www.icloud.com
I've turned calendars off/on.
Deleted the iCloud account and re-added and merged with iCloud.
I've deleted the iCloud accout, deleted the data from the iPhone, then reset all settings and tried to sign in and merge again.
All email calendars are turned off.
I'm using the same Apple ID that has the calendar events.
When I open the Calendar app, it won't allow me to add a new calendar event either.
Then when I press Calendars in the Calendar app it only has the Birthday calendars.
There's nothing that says: iPhone calendars.
When I press 'edit' it doesn't allow me add a new calendar (iPhone/Work/Birthdays).
Is there any Setting/troubleshooting that I can change/do so that the iPhone Calendars option re-appears?

I had all sorts of headaches trying to get this to work. But yes, you can do a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google Calendars to make sure Google has ALL your events. You then turn on sync on the iPhone, so the three are in sync.
What I did (do not try this at home ) is I deleted my Google Calendar and turned off sync on the iPhone (deleting the calendar data from my iPhone). I started with ONE source of appoinments. I then removed/reinstalled the Google sync app on my PC and initiated a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google. Now Google had a brand new calendar with all my appointments. I then turned on 2-way sync between my PC and Google. Next step, turn on calendar sync on the iPhone. That way all the appointments from Google (which are all the appointments from Outlook) downloaded onto my iPhone. Voila!

Reminders - Not all calendars available

When I try to create a new reminder on either my Mac or iPhone, only of a couple of my Calendars appear in the "list" selection. Why aren't my other Calendars appearing? I'd like to categorize the Reminder.

Software update client on my phone showed up agendaserver update for calendar. I am yet to update it.Has anyone else got the update? What is it meant for?

Iphoto calendar is a mess, can we get a pro calendar in aperture?

I am making a calendar using the aperture library in iphoto and having lots of troubles.
When i have added the photos to their positions, i find that i need to edit some photos to fit their neighbours, and then having to close iphoto, open aperture and edit them, yet those changes fail to show up in the applied photos, so have to edit outside the project and replace the photos...
Also while working on this project my library is locked so i cannot open aperture without closing iphoto, even if i want to work on entirely different things, interrupting a normal day workflow.
When i reopen iphoto it has forgotten my position and just shows the full calendar again, forcing me to search again for the place the photo i have edited in aperture or to replace with another i have found that fits better.
The calendar templates are quite limited, on a few pages i wanted to place more photos or have other orientations which is possible when making a book, and the size of calendar is relatively small, could be good with a possibility of making professional calendars one step bigger.
Is there any way to tell apple that there are many who would need a proper calendar inside aperture, to be able to make professional products or who have migrated from iphoto being used to making calendars and cards and wanting to continue that in what should be a better program?
Even having the exact same calendar available in aperture would be huge benefit, and ensure many more being made!

That is what the command "Provide Aperture Feedback" in the Aperture Application menu is for: http://www.apple.com/feedback/aperture.html
How are you switching between Aperture and iPhoto? When I use the commands "File > Open Library in Aperture" and "File > open library in iPhoto" to switch back and forth between the application, the iPhoto will open with the calendar selected, when I switch back from Aperture, albeit not on the calendar page, that I last viewed.
