Calendar - Birthday status "busy"

Hi,
When I view my calendar, all of the Birthdays (picked up from my Contact's birthday entry field) show as all-day events, and they're status is set to "busy". When I grab my iPhone and tell Siri to add an event or an appointment, Siri tells me that I have something schedule at that time, and ask me if I still want to schedule my appointment. Is there a way to set a birthday event so that it's not "busy"? I've looked every where that I can think of, and don't see the option, so I thought I'd bounce it off of others.

Hello Matt,
Sorry, at this time the birthday calendar will not show you the age of the person too. This however may come in a future software update to iOS 4. This could definitely happen since the birthday calendar is brand new. You could however make your own event and put the age in the title, but you would need to change the age every year.

Process Flow with Status Busy

Hello
In Warehouse Builder Browser I have one Process Flow with Status Busy. I have restarded the whole server and status is still Busy.
Through Oracle Workflow I try to Find Active Processes and there just is no one.
Why is my Process Flow still Busy and how do I stop it? (Maybe the there is an error in Warehouse Builder Browser, it is not busy?)

Just logout and login into Warehouse Builder Browser again. It is not busy any more ;-).

I need remove duplication in iCloud Calendar "Birthday" for [email protected] Events Birthday to me in iCloud calendar shows duplicate. Please help!

All mappings completed, but job in status 'busy'

hello,
we have a process flow that is scheduled to run every day; when i check the execution all the steps / mappings are executed fine, and have status 'completed';
however the main parent process i.e. the scheduler job stays in status 'busy' (object type: scheduled job)
is this normal?
at first i thought it would not restart becuase of that, but no, i can see that the next day it restarts and runs fine as well;
id appreciate some tips

Calendar birthdays off by one day

I guess this has been a pretty common problem, but I'm wondering if anyone has found a solution (other than to manually re-input birthdays)? Here's the specifics on my situation.
My wife and I each got an iphone last month and we each have the latest version of IOS 5. I put quite a few birthdays in my contacts list and they showed up fine on my calendar. I shared my contacts with my wife using Bump. The birthdays show up correctly in her Contacts information - but some of them (and only some, not all) show up on her calendar a day early. We tried doing a reset of her phone to repopulate the calendar birthdays from the contact info, but that didn't make any difference. Neither of us has Timezone Support turned on.
Anybody have a solution?

(1) If your iPhone is syncing contacts with iCloud, turn it off. In Settings on your iPhone, Mail,Contacts,Calendars, Accounts, iCloud, turn off Contacts.
(2) sync your iPhone to iTunes.
(3) now select the ‘Info’ tab in iTunes for your iPhone. Ensure that ‘Sync Address Book Contacts’ is ticked. (You can revert to syncing with iCloud later, after this process is complete.)
(4) scroll to the very bottom section of the Info tab. Where it says ‘Replace information on this iPhone’, select ‘Contacts’.
(5) Sync again.
Now check Calendars on iPhone, this process ‘fixes’ the information of birth dates and they should now appear correctly.

Exchange 2010 calendar(free and busy) cannot work

We have a new setup exchange 2010 server.
Everything(Webmail, outlook, autodiscover, out_of_office) is working fine.
When the user check other user calendar, it is not work(no matter in Outlook 2010 or OWA), is there any idea?

All the user is located in the same site.
The most weird problem is the user using the OWA for checking their own free and busy, it is show no information.

IPad Calendar issues on business

Secnario: Manager has business iPad and she keeps getting the Corporate Calandar Inbox showing up with numeric digit of appointments and meeting on Inbox, however she don't want it to show the number on the Inbox because her assistant is a delegate to her mail account and she accepts it already and Manager don't need to see the number on the Calendar Inbox.
iPad iOS ver: 7.0.4
Things I have tried:
*I have disabled the a Settings->Notification Center -> Badge App Icon -> turned off
*Setting-> mail, contacts, calendars->New Invitaion Alerts->turned off
after doing above steps, i got some luck i.e. on my Calendar App it stopped showing the numeric digit for the new received appointments/meeting items but once I open the app, on the bottom right hand corner it still showing up the numeric number for the received itmes. I want to get rid of that because the manger's assistant has already accepted the Items that mean Manager's iPad or iPhone shouldn't show as received item.
any help would be appreciated.

Are you using Exchange? Is it set so that only the delegate is notified of a new meeting request?

Check to see if Priority is assigned to calendar or using business days

How do I check to see if priority 2 is set to use a calendar or it is using business days to calculate the start and end dates?

Ususally, the system will take Factory Calendar into consideration if you select the day as unit (start and end date units), where as for other units -e.g. hours non working hours are not consedered.
You can check your priority type config settings in qm - quality notification - notification processing - response control - define priorities.

Runtime audit browser shows the status busy for the cancelled OWB jobs

Hi ,
I canceled long running OWB job.But the runtime audit browser was showing the status as BUSY.
I observed the the oracle session (SID:48) was running and killed the session.
After killing the session,the status in runtime audit browser changed to COMPLETED.
Till that time i was with an impression that "if we cancel a OWB job then it will kill all the sessions/process that initiated".
Could please tell me why this is happening?
Anything wrong with my configuration?

Yes you are absolutely right. When you press the cancel button in the GUI, the runtime repository does not get the signal that he is been asked to stop and abort. The GUI cancels himself but the background oracle process is still on !!!. The only way to do is to kill the oracle session. Another way I tried to tackle is
go to the directiry OWB/10.1/owb/rtp/sql and run the file @list_request.sql in sqlplus. Note that you have to login as runtime repositiry owner. After you get the audit id, run the file abort_exec_request.sql and supply the audit id that you obtained by running list_requests.sql. Sometimes it does not work also . Hence the best method is to kill the process

6110 Contacts and Calendar Birthday events

I have recently got a 6110 Navigator but am having difficulty with the calendar.
The birthdays I introduce on my contacts does not appear on the calendar.
I have read the manual but it does not indicate anything in particular about these fields.
Is there a procedure to do the updates or does every birthday have to be introduced directly on the calendar? Seems to me quite useless to have the birthday field on the contacts if it does not update the calendar.
Can anybody explain to me how the calendar updates the birthday event from the contacts?

Birthdays don't appear in the calendar however they do appear on the main stand by screen.
To test this, go to clock and change the date to one with a birthday then take a look a the stand by screen - just remember to reset the date afterwards.
Also, if you set an alarm for a birthday in Outlook, it does go off.

Outlook 2010/Shared calendar showing as busy/no detail

Hi, user has editor access to another user's calendar yet only free/busy information is showing.
The primary user's profile also has a second exchange account on it. Thought this account might be limiting things so gave it editor access as well. Still, only busy information is shown on calendar.

Create a new Outlook profile for the user to test the issue again.
1. Exit Outlook.
2. Go to Start > Control Panel, click or double-click Mail.
3. Click Show Profiles. Choose Prompt for a profile to be used.
4. Click Add.
5. Type a name for the profile, and then click OK.
6. Highlight the profile, and choose Properties. Then Email Accounts.., add your email account in the profile.
7. Start Outlook, and choose this new profile.
If this problem does not occur in the new Outlook profile, the old Outlook is corrupted. We can delete that and use a new Outlook profile.

Did iOS 4.0.2 fix the Calendar Birthday issue?

Anyone know if this latest update fixed the Calendar issue with incorrect Birthdays?

No, it didn't. Only "things" relating to the security problems with PDF files. Cerfianly nothing to do with Calendar functions.

ICloud Calendar Birthday Additions

iCloud is driving me nuts with birthdays. I am guessing birthdays I had in contacts when I first set up my iCloud worked fine because I see the little birthday icon on my Outlook, iPhone and iPad. However, I can't get new ones on into my Outlook iCloud Calendar without doubling them on my iPhone and iPad.
If I enter a birthday for a contact on my iPhone or iPad, it syncs them to both devices, but does not put them on my iCloud Calendar. If I put the birthday in my contacts in Outlook on my iCloud contacts, it puts it on my Outlook calendar, but not my Outlook iCloud calendar. It does, however, put the birthday on my iPhone and iPad calendars. If I then copy it over to my Outlook iCalendar, it then puts a second birthday on my iPad and iPhone calendars.
This is driving me nuts!!! Anyone?

Calendar birthdays on lumia 800 are of people I do...

My phone has birthdays on calendar of people I don't know and have never heard of. The birthdays of people I do know don't appear at all. Any suggestions as to how I can solve this?

If you want to delete the iCloud calendar that has the duplicate holidays, open Calendar on your iPad, tap Calendars on the top left, tap Edit in the Show Calendars list, tap the holiday calendar you want to delete, then tap Delete Caledar at the bottom and tap Done.
