Calendar days to start from Monday to Sunday

Guys,
On the Calendar functionality, when viewing the appointments by week then is it possible to have the day to start from Monday to Sunday?
Currently, it starts at Sunday to Saturday.

At this time the calendar is set for Sunday to Saturday. I would recommend submitting a enhancement request to On Demand customer care.

For example, if you set the Regional format to United Kingdom, the days will be re-ordered but it will have other effects as well which you probably don't want.

  • Change first day of the week from Monday to Sunday(0CALWEEK)

    Hello!
We have a report that display the data at a calendar week level. The start of the week currently show as Monday( retreived from FM - WEEK_GET_FIRST_DAY).
Is there a global setting in source system to change the start day of the week from Monday to Sunday? I can always make this change in the transformation but would like to know if there is a global option to make this change so the rest of the reports display the same.
    Thanks
    Sirisha

You can check this SAP Note 624627 - Sunday first day of the week also a working day (Collective)

Display the last name, hire date, and day of week on which the employee hire.
Order the result by the day of week starting with Monday.

I have tried this using following statement…..But is this right way!? Any other command availabe for same.
    SELECT last_name, hire_date, TO_CHAR(hire_date,'Day')

    ORDER BY TO_CHAR(hire_date -1,'d') ;

i think i will also works
    decode(to_char(hiredate,'d'),1,null,to_char(hiredate,'d'))This is very nls-dependant:
    begin
for cTerr in (select value from v$nls_valid_values where parameter = 'TERRITORY') loop
        begin
          dbms_session.set_nls('nls_territory', ''''||cTerr.value||'''');

            dbms_output.put_line(cTerr.value || '=' || to_char(to_date(7,'j'), 'd'));
          end if;

  • Calendar Travel Time Starting from Work when I want to Start from Home

I am having a problem with travel time in Calendar. It will autopopulate with where it thinks I should be. I don't work during the daytime, and when I schedule in an entry for work, it wants to have me leaving from work. Is there any way to change it manually to start from home instead?

    From Calendar's help:
To set your starting location, Calendar first looks for your location in any events that are up to three hours before this event. If Calendar doesn’t find a location, it uses your work address during work hours and your home address during other hours. (Your work hours are set in Calendar preferences using the “Day starts at” and “Day ends at” menus.) If your card in Contacts doesn’t have your addresses, Calendar uses your computer’s current location.

  • Current day "shift starts from previous day" night 23:00 hours

    Hi Experts,
I have a challenging scenario in Positive Time Management which is current day 1st shift time starts from previous day 23:00 hours (eg: previous day 23:00 to 07:00 current day).
As per my knowledge in SAP Time Management, Shift start time is considered as current day, but for my scenario Shift End time has to consider as a current day.
I couldnu2019t brought this shift forward to as 3rd shift because Production Incentives amounts and public holidays are computing based on previous day 23:00 hours.
Points will be awarded for helpful solution.

While you create a recod in the IT 2011 as you give
next field you wil be having a field for previous day option if you choose that
    p20 for out time
ex: 7:00 am i.e next day but still it will count for the current day

    Hey baby birch
You are able to sync purchased content from your iDevice to a new computer as long as the comptuer is authorized
To authorize the computer follow these steps
At the topi of the screen next to File- Edit -View, click store then Authorize this computer.
Enter in your appleID email address and password and click authorize
**If you do not see the File Edit View option, At the very top left corner you should see a little square click the square and click show menu bar.
Now that your computer is authorized click the file menu button, then click Devices, then go to your iPhones name and then click Transfer purchases this will allow you to transfer all of your purchased content to the computer
Now if you want to transfer your non purchased content to the computer you can do so if you have wif and the previous computer on the same network as the new computer with home sharing

  • ICal print in weekly view doesn't begin from monday but tuesday

    Hello,
I faced a problem while trying to print a weekly view of my calendars. Even though I have adjusted the calendar in the setting so that the week starts from monday, every time I try to print a weekly view of my calendars, the weekly view is is alway for the dates Tuesday - Monday, NOT Monday - Sunday. I tried choosing in the printing view that the printing would start from the date 27th of october (monday), but instead, the first date on output was always Tuesday (28th). The same happened when i chose that area printed starts from next week - it starts it again from Tuesday not Monday.
    Any help for this?

    epee91,
What setting do you have in System Preferences...>Language & Region>First day of week:?

    I am using Oracle 10g R10.2.0.3.0.
I would like to change the beginning of week in Oracle from Monday to Sunday. Given below is my NLS_DATABASE_PARAMETERS:
    NLS_LANGUAGE------------------------AMERICAN
    NLS_TERRITORY-----------------------AMERICA
    NLS_CURRENCY------------------------$
    NLS_ISO_CURRENCY--------------------AMERICA
    NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTE----------------.,
    NLS_CHARACTERSET--------------------UTF8

    desc my_table:
    EVENT_TIME     TIMESTAMP(6)
    query:
    SELECT EVENT_TIME, to_char(EVENT_TIME, 'iw') WEEK_NUM
    FROM MY_TABLE
    returns:
    EVENT_TIME               WEEK_NUM
    11-NOV-09 09.52.43.000000000 AM     46
    10-NOV-09 07.58.32.000000000 AM     46

    06-NOV-09 11.55.53.000000000 PM     45
Since 08-NOV-09 10.20.18.000000000 PM, is a Sunday, I would like to see a new WEEK_NUM associated to it. Start of the week should be Sunday 12:00 AM and end of week, Saturday 11:59 PM.

    Hi, Anil,
ISO weeks always begin on Monday, regardless of NLS settings. You can't change that.
You can equate Sundays with the following ISO week by adding 1 to all dates
SELECT EVENT_TIME, to_char(EVENT_TIME + 1, 'iw') WEEK_NUMwhich may be good enough for your purposes.
What are your purposes? What do you need to do?
If you need to group Sunday-through-Saturday weeks, then
TRUNC (event_time, 'd')will use the week depending on NLS_TERRITORY. For America, that means weeks start on Sunday, and the expression above will always be midnight on some Sunday.
    Regardless of NLS settings,
    TRUNC (event_time + 1, 'iw') - 1is the last Sunday on or before event_time.

    Hello SMEvans32
You can use iCloud to share the Calendar, that way she will always be up to date on that particular section of your work calendar. If you want to use iCloud, I would recommend backing up so you have a safe copy of your data.

  • Printing weekly calendar from Sunday want to print from Monday

Since upgrade with Yosemite can only print weekly calendar from Sunday. Wish to do from Monday. Can anyone assist please.

    Hey there Grelin,
The printed calendars start on the same day that you have your calendar set to start on. You can change that in Calendars Preferences:
Change the days and times displayed - Calendar Help
Choose Calendar > Preferences, then click General.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
