Calendar does not show up in Gmail account--can't sync it
Got a new Droid X Friday and I love it, but I can't get the calendar to sync. I set up my gmail, and only Contacts and Gmail are listed under the account. There is no evidence of a calendar account at all. Please help.
Try options to sync calendar:
Option 1
1. From the Home screen press Menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Applications.
4. Select Manage applications.
5. Tap Calendar Storage. (If you don’t see calendar Storage, press Menu > Filter > All.)
6. Tap Clear data.
See if your Google Calendar syncs now. If it doesn’t sync after about 15 minutes, try option 2 below.
Option 2
1. Have another google account ready to use as a “dummy account” to be added to the device. Use a friend’s or create one.
2. Add the new account under Settings > Accounts & sync > Add account.
3. The Sync Contacts, Sync Gmail and Sync Calendar options should now appear under both accounts. Let the Droid 2 sit for about 5 minutes.
4. Delete the “dummy account” by tapping it on the Accounts & sync screen and selecting Remove account.

I had this same issue. I solved it finally by downloading the free "official" google calendar disabling the phone calendar app (Google Calendar - Android Apps on Google Play) and disabling the phone calendar. Then you need to choose your gmail account to sync with your calendar app. Now my entries on the phone are showing up on my PC.

I've entered the events more than twice and it all shows up in the OSX calendar but not on my iphone.Just tested it works even 3 years ahead.

iOS 7 Calendar does not show appointments imported as VCS files in Microsoft Outlook / Exchange in Windows 7. I discovered this when downloading itinerary.vcs files from Delta to mark flights in my calendar. The work around I found is as follows:
Open the VCS file, this will create a Calendar entry in your Outlook,
Open the created Outlook Calendar entry, go to File -> Save As and then select to save as ICS file.
Delete original VCS-created appointment in your calendar to avoid multiple calendar.
Open the re-saved ICS file.
Appointment will now correctly synchronize with your iPhone iOS 7 calendar.
If anyone has better alternatives to this process, please help out. My calendar does not show map or weather
I installed Mavericks, but Calendar does not show weather, map, or travel time.
It may well be that Calendar.app refuses to access Google, but why would it need to if the new Maps.app in Mavericks is what it should be (and is) working with? Pasting in a complete, legitimate address should yield a map, no ifs ands or buts. That's why I filed a bug report at http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html . It might be helpful if others did the same. (All duplicates are coalesced within a bug reporting system by the triage manager. Duplicate reports demonstrate that folks consider it important -- that's in lieu of being able to vote on a bug, since Apple doesn't open up their bug tracking system to the public. If we don't file bug reports, but just yap about our complaints in these discussion groups, Apple won't track our issues.)

I have just gotten my new ipad!!! I downloaded latest version of itunes but my ipad does not show in devices when I try to sync music. Any suggestions??
Does a little box come up seeing the iPad as a camera? That doesn't impact iTunes as much as it confirms that your computer sees the device. If your computer doesn't see it then iTunes doesn't know it's there.
If you're plugged into a hub or extender, try plugging it directly into the box or main part of your computer.
If you're using an extension, stop and just use the included sync cable.
Try using a different USB port.
After you installed iTunes, did you restart your computer?
Usually what's needed is the 'apple device driver' which installs automatically, you just need to sometimes trigger the install, using different ports helps with that.
If the simple trouble shooting doesn't help then you can search on the Apple Device Driver and there's more detailed trouble shooting on the site. -
How can I remove a mail account that does not show up in Internet Accounts?
I have a Mail account that I cannot remove because it does not show up in System Preferences > Internet Accounts. How can I remove this account permanently?

Here is what shows up when I click on Internet Accounts:Thanks, it was linked in iPhoto. After removing it from iPhoto I still got the same message when trying to delete the account from Mail. After rebooting, I was able to remove the account from Mail.

Mini Calendar does not show the correct date

in iCal on the bottom left side of the window is the mini Calendar, when I switch between months in this mini Cal,it does not show the correct month anymore and even the button "Today" can not revert the day back ( for example we are now in September, when I open iCal it shows it correctly but after going to next or previous months using the triangles on this mini Cal, the problem comes up ! )Maybe it wasn't receiving the correct info from your carrier. You're supposed to turn your phone off once in a while so the carrier can update stuff. I had originally heard that you should do it once a day but I never did that.

Mail does not show the viewer window even when new viewer window is cliced. I tried to close mail and reopen, but it will not close, and force quit option does not appear in window bar. I tried to shut down the computer and reboot, but it cannot close because of open mail program it says. Help!

TS1363 my iphone does not show up in itunes for me to sync
My iPhone 5 does not show up in iTunes so that I can sync it. I have Windows 8.1.
Try this
Go into the control panel, programs, add/remove programs
Uninstall iTunes, Apple Mobile Device Service, Apple Application supprt
Then go to apple.com and redownload iTunes and reinstall it and try again.
It shouldn't affect your content at all (didn't mine) but may help with iTunes seeing your device. -
iphone 4s is disabled. It says connect to itunes. Itunes ays could not connect because phone is locked with a passcode and to enter passcode on iphone before it can be used with itunes, but I can't enter the passcode because 1) don't know it 2) it's disabled. The device also does not show up in itunes, so how can I restore the phone or unlock it?

You can't have an iMac PPC (PowerPC) if you loaded Snow Leopard. iMac Intel are the only Macs that are compatible with 10.6. So the first thing wrong you are doing is posting in the wrong forum, or giving us misinformation.
Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to find out exactly what you are running. A G5 is a PowerPC. Intel is Intel.
Also look at the operating system in that window and update your profile.
What version of iTunes do you have?

IPhone5 IOS 6.0.1 shared google calendar does not show
Even though the setting in Google Calendar is set to 'show', the shared calendar from another gmail acount does not appear in the iphone native calendar app.
Anyone solution for this?I was able to get my shared calendars to show up in my iPhone Calendar list only after visiting https://m.google.com/sync/settings/iconfig/ in the iPhone Safari browser. That page lets me manage the Google Sync devices (e.g. iPhone, iPad), each has its own Settings page where I must click the checkbox to sync each shared calendar. Once I saved those device-specific settings, I was able to see the extra calendars on the iPhone.

I am very frustrasted with trying to get my iophne 5c contacts list to sync with my icloud contact list. The new contacts I add to my iphone do not show up in my icloud contacts. What am I doing wrong?
If your default account was set to iCloud in settings, it should be created in the iCloud account regardless of how you create it on the phone.
Try adding a new test contact using the contacts app, then go to icloud.com from your computer and see if it appears there now.
Also, what accounts were listed in the Default Account setting on your phone besides iCloud? (Don't post your email addresses, just tell me what providers were listed there, such as On My iPhone, Gmail, Yahoo, Exchange, etc.)
