Calendar Entries not Displaying Properly in Desktop Outlook 2007

We have 3 employees who have the Palm Treo 750 phone. It appears that since the time change we have started having problems with calendar entries displaying properly on our computer desktop Outlook calendars. So far we have observed the following:
*Calendar entries disappearing from desktop Outlook but still remain on phone. For example, I came in this morning and SOME of my calendar entries for the remainder of this week are gone but they are ALL still showing on my phone.
*If disappearing calendar entries are added back via the desktop Outlook, it accepts but then it displays that appointment TWICE on the phone.
*When accepting meeting requests from the phone, they display on the phone but not on the desktop Outlook calendar.
There are other employees who use their phone to sync with our server for their e-mail, contacts and calendar. All of those are still working fine. None of them however, are using Windows Mobile 6 Professional. One employee is using Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and she can't tell that she is having any problems.

I have a calendar entry that is over 3 days but it only shows up on the 1st day in the Iphone calendar. Is this a bug? Is my only work around to enter the event 3 times, one for each day?

Variable Entries not displaying properly

Hi SDN Gurus,
We have loaded text file load into an ODS and have created a Query on the ODS. Have Built a variable on Account Number. The issue is this file has lots of negative Account Numbers along with Good Account numbers. But when we try to find the Good Numbers by selecting the Variable which is an Optional One, we are not able to find the Positive Account Numbers and only negative Account Numbers are being displayed in the Variable screen.
But when we do not give any Account number as selection, we get all the account numbers displayed in the Query Report.
Q1) How to Display all the account numbers (Both Positive and Negative) in the variable screen.
Q2) If we see the Variable screen, it shows only 72 Columns of Data in the Enterprise Portal Report, where as the file consits of More than that. How can we expand the 72 Columns to Full data display?

First in the query designer...for the keyfigure account number right click and see ther properites..have u taken account number as charecteristics or key figures
If keyfigure rightclick and see the properties of the kf in the query designer there is option....+/-reverse signs........has it check marked...if so all your signs will be reversed in display in the report compared to the cube...
You want to expand..after executing the query in BEx you have the option expanding to the maximum level..you can right click on your Bex report to find where the option to expand to the maximum level

Calendar entries not going from BB to Outlook

I have Outlook 2003 and Desktop Manager 4.3. When I sync, only a few items are moved from my BB to Outlook. I've tried changing syncing options every way possible.

Hope someone can assist.
On the Calendar, if I have two events that are All Day, scheduled on the same day; the app only displays one of the appointments; and it appears to be random as to which one it will display.
Can someone explain how I can be made aware of multiple appointments on the same day, when they are both set as 'All Day'.
If they are timed, then they appear as normal.

I have been using sync on all previous phones to date without issue, I have had the 5s since Nov 2014 and no issue, on Sunday without warning or changes to my phone or Outlook sync now has this error.
I have restored my phone but still has same problem.

Calendar does not sync from Device to Outlook

I am using a BB Style with MS Outlook. We do not have BES so I sync with a wire. I have set BB Desktop Manager to sync both ways but the calendar only syncs one way. Events I add to my device calendar do not sync to my desktop. Any ideas?

Contacts not displaying properly in video iPod, need help

My contacts do not display properly on my video iPod. The phone numbers sometimes have dashes and sometimes do not in the iPod but the phone numbers always have the dashes in my address book on my G4 desktop. Example: iPod 555 555 1212 or 5555551212 or 555-555-1212
address book 555-555-1212 (always has the dashes)
I want the Ipod to display the way it looks in the address book, always using the dashes. I am total type A and it drives me crazy when they are not all the same!
I have iTunes 7 on a MDD G4 running 10.4

By default Messages should grab info from the Address Card in the Contacts app even if the iCloud option is not checked (and then syncing with other computers and iOS devices that are also set to sync this way).
However the Contacts App does need to be opened and have the Preferences > Accounts checked to see it is using a Valid Account.
The Address Cards need to list iMessages and possibly AIM and Jabber ID info as well.
Next you need to check the View Menu in Messages.
The Buddy Name option only used to work in Buddy List but now seems to also effect the main Messages window. (So you can change it here to Handle, which is ID or Screen Name).
Lower down is the option to display Names, Pictures or Name and Pictures next to people in the Chats.

Metadata not displaying properly in movie list view 12.1.0.50

Has anyone had issues with metadata not displaying properly in iTunes iTunes 12.1.0.50?
Seems since the last update or maybe even before that the metadata is not displaying properly in the movies/list view window. All seems fine in the movies window with the display, nice art work along with all the metadata which I've been adding with the Subler app. Been using this app a long time and it has always been fine.
As can be seen in the attached screen shot, the titles of the lower entries are missing and the director information shows where the artists should be.
When I got to get info everything is as it should be. Any solutions out there?

I had been experiencing this very same problem, and it drove me crazy. Luckily, after searching for the answer on multiple forums, I found a solution. MetaX is a program designed specifically for tagging iTunes movies. Not only can you manually input all the required information, but you can also automatically input all the information from outside sources from within the program. It worked beautifully for me with my copy of Donnie Darko, which I ripped using HandBrake.

Calendar does not display correct recurrent event

Using Mac OS 10.8.3 with an Exchange 2010 server. Some recurrent calendar entries are displayed 24-hours too early in Calendar. The entries are displayed correctly on my Iphone, Outlook Web App and Outlook 2012. Any idea how to fix this?

I'm in the UK and have UK Holidays showing in Calendar, in iCloud on my main account.
To test, I created a New User on the same Mac and like you, ticking "Show Holidays Calendar" revealed nothing.
It's a bug. Thankfully after a bit of searching I found the solution, thanks to ennio99 solution.
Solution:
Quick answer: Change your preferred language to British English, log out and in and try again.
I must have done this at some point and forgot.
Long answer:
First un-tick Show Holidays Calendar and quit Calendar.
Make sure your region is set to the UK:
System Preferences>Language & Region>Region=United Kingdom
Next:
Preferences>Language & Region>Preferred Language = 'English' - Primary
Click the + (Plus) button at the bottom of Preferred Languages
Select British English. It might be hard to spot, but it's there.
Make sure British English is now - Primary and at the top of the list.
Restart your Mac or log out and back in.
Open Calendar, tick the box again, the UK Holiday calendar should appear! At least, it did for me on my test account.
iCloud:
If you use iCloud, you can move the UK Holiday Calendar to iCloud by Right Clicking on it and selecting Get Info.
Change the location to iCloud.
It will then move up to the iCloud Calendars.
What is strange though, despite then being part of iCloud, it doesn't appear in Calendar on iCloud.com. It probably still syncs to your other devices though.

ProRes footage not displaying properly in AE CS5 at 8bpc

Just installed AE CS5 and am frustrated to find that Apple ProRes 422 footage (all flavors: HQ, SQ, LT, 4x) does not display properly when the project is in 8bpc mode.
In 8bpc mode:
Same frame, in 16bpc mode:
This behavior does not occur with Uncompressed 10-bit Quicktimes. Only ProRes.
Obviously now that CS5 is 64-bit aware, switching to 16bpc mode isnt as much of a problem as it was in previous versions, but I often like to work in 8bpc mode for speed/performance reasons, so its a bummer that I cant do this with ProRes sources.
Is there a workaround for this (other than working in 16bpc all the time, of course)?

Hi. This is Dan R. from the After Effects team. I'm out of the office for the few weeks, so please excuse me if I don't respond as quickly as I should.
I'm not discounting what you're experiencing, but the behavior isn't typcial. On my machines, ProRes is working properly at all bit depths. Off the top of my head, I suspect a 3rd party Quicktime codec conflict. Regardless of what is causing your problem, we're committed to making sure this works correctly.
Do you have Final Cut Pro installed? Do you have any other 3rd party QT components installed? e.g., AJA, Blackmagic, Sheer, etc.
Please try the following:
Navigate to your Quicktime codec folder. It's found at harddisk/library/Quicktime and harddisk/username/library/Quicktime. Try dragging the entire contents from these two locations into a temporary location. I use a subfolder on my desktop. e.g. username/desktop/QuicktimeTemp
Restart After Effects and try using ProRes footage in all bit depths again. Does your problem go away? If so, it's likely an issue with one of the codecs that you have removed. You now should have enough information to isolate the codec that's causing your problems.

Lately pdf files from the Web do not display properly; what is wrong and how can I fix it so I don't have to use IE?

I am a professor and frequently need to open pdfs of academic journal articles from electronic databases. Within the last two or three weeks, when I try to do this using Firefox, only the first page of the pdf displays and the rest are blank. In addition, a bar appears across the top with the message "This pdf file may not display properly." So I have had to switch to Internet Explorer to open the files and do my research. What is going on and how can I fix it so I can open pdf files from the Web in Firefox and have them display properly?

My question is simple - why would you put an application in production that has a lot of bugs? To replace a good and steady Adobe product? My customers will believe that I put a pathetic fallible form online. They are not sophisticated on computers so I just tell them to use IE. Ugh

My youtube webpage is not displaying properly. its like tthere is only text and thumbnails and the whle webpage is too damn long. The videos don't play when clicked. You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

My vertical Spry is not displaying properly in IE 8

I am working on my first website using Dreamweaver CS4 and my spry is not displaying properly over my flash photo gallery. It looks ok in Firefox (although the borders are missing on my submenu for "sheds tool list") but in IE 8 the submenus can't be seen. How can I correct this?

You flash movie doesn't have the parameter wmode=transparent. If you set that, the menu bar will be on top.

Itunes 9 Store - Not Displaying Properly

I am having problems with the iTunes store not displaying properly. I can see the album art, but the background is black. I can not see any of the text and I can not see most of the blue play buttons. This all occurred after upgrading to Itunes 9. What options would I need to change in my anti-virus/security programs in order to potentially correct this issue. I really don't want to have to totally uninstall Itunes and reinstall everything. Help is appreciated.
