Calendar entry duplication problem

Using E72 and latest version of OVI Suite. When syncing' my phone wirelessly with the laptop, (running Outlook 2010), I end up with duplicate calendar entries on the laptop. Needless to say I have checked settings and cannot figure out why this should be happening. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Have you tried this issue in the latest Nokia Ovi Suite version i.e 3.1.0.86, if not then please download from www.nokia.com/ovisuite

Repetitive Calendar Entry Sync Problem N81

If I delete an instance of repetitive entry
(For instance, say I have English Class Every Monday, except October 6th which I delete) All deleted7altered instances will be restored within a couple of synch cycles.
This is true if I sync w/Outlook, Nokia 6267 (using Switch Application).
When I sych with Ovi, I see the deleted entries are restored in Ovi. However, despite of several synh cycles, for as long as I only sycnh with ove, the N81 calendar has been correct.
I Really would like to have a solution, first and foremost so I can sych N81 with Nokia 6267.
PS. There is also a problem synching Notes including carriage return characters. That I can live with, though.

Does the error occur when you synchronize your Contacts or just the Calendar?
Delete the Intellisync folder from your computer:
If you
are using Microsoft Windows® XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\<User
Folder>\Application Data\Research In
Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync.
If you
are using Microsoft Windows Vista™, go to C:\Users\<User
Name>\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync.
If you still get the error , enable advanced logging as shown in KB01451 and look delete the Calendar entry which could be the cause of the error.
Let me know how you make out.

Calendar entry duplication when trying to copy

When trying to copy a calendar entry pressing thу Option key, i get three copies of the entry. Any ideas how to fix this?

I am so confused about using iCloud to have my calendar across my iphone and ipad. I have set them both up with Calendar on iCloud but keep getting duplicate entries. The first time it happened I went and removed all the entries and they were both perfect. 2 days later I have duplicate entries again, I hadn't made any changes in the Calendar. I am only using the Calendar on my iphone (so not Outlook or iCal). Please help me - I can't keep deleting them every couple of days.

Hello, I wasn't even aware there was a site for this (bit behind the times) but I have logged on and initially it had numerous entries but it has now updated to reflect only one of each which reflects what's on my iphone & ipad. I had deleted all the duplicates out of my iphone last night and they haven't come back today so maybe just maybe they'll stay away. Thanks

Calendar entry duplication on device

I have had my Tour for 3 months and this issue has just come up in the last couple of days. I use Outlook 2007 for my calendar and one of my email accounts (the other 3 are Yahoo accounts and a Blackberry account). When synchronizing my Outlook recently, I found that a duplicate appeared in my Blackberry calendar. The next day when synchronizing and second duplicate appeared. The same happened on the 3rd day. Any thoughts on how to remove the duplicate entries?

Serious duplication of calendar entries!

I am having serious problems with multiple duplications on my iPad and iPhone, some birthdays now appearing 120 times! Can anyone please tell me how to stop this happening before I go completely mad!

IPhone calendar entry problem

I'm hoping somebody can help me with this problem.
I am using iCal on OS X 10.7.2 and iOS 5 on my iPhone. Whenever I syncronise my calendars via iTunes those existing calendar entries which I have changed in iCal show up as new entries in calendar on my iPhone, whilst the existing entries remain. This means that my iPhone is full of irritating duplicates.
Does anybody know what the problem might be here? It seems to lie with my iPhone, I think...

Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and tap Sync (in the Calendars section), then set this to a longer time period.

What I finally did was to log into my icloud account online. I saw that all my contacts were properly synced from my MacBook Pro - so I unchecked "contacts" under iCloud preferences on my phone. Then I rechecked it and asked it to sync again. All the contacts from my MacBook Pro are now on my phone. Thanks for your help!

Duplication of calendar entries

I find that, when I sync my iPhone with my Mac, I get a pile of duplicated entries in the Entourage calendar from the iPhone... entries that I previously input on the Mac. Although input with a category, the category is lost on the duplicated entry.
Is there a way I can prevent this happening?

Ipad 2 Calendar Entry Problem

Why does a Calendar entry 25 March also appear on 25 Feb? In fact, in the "month"view it actually overwrites a previous diary note. They "sit" on top of one another.

Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset

Duplicate Entourage calendar entries when syncing with 1.0.4

Here we go again... I was reasonably happy with the previous BB DM - Mac, v. 1.0.3 (build 19?).... but had to update it to the newest version to install the updates to my BB Curve 8530. Now when I sync with my MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard), the calendar entries in Entourage double. I had this duplication problem a while ago and now JUST sync with Entourage, not with iCal too. How can I correct this duplication?

The duplication has stopped but here's a new problem: When I add recurring events to my Entourage calendar, they don't sync to my BB. The other direction works OK with recurring events. Anyone know why this happens, or how to work around (other than only add recurring events to my BB)??

Iphone Calendar Entries don't show up on Mobile Me

This is new problem - I think it started after I entered the latest ITunes update and MAC OS X (10.6.6)
When I make calendar entries on Mobile Me or ICal, they automatically show up on my IPhone. However, it doesn't work the other way around. I have made calendar entries on my phone and they don't appear on Mobile Me or ICal.
Please HELP!

Syncing Calendar with MobileMe is bi-directional, so if entries get from MobileMe to the phone, entries made on the phone should get to MobileMe (and to your laptop).
The only time I've seen your problem is with a jailbroken phone. Is that the case here? (Still using iOS 4.2...)

I've had a problem for a while (since iOS 3) where I get duplicate events on the iPhone (3GS and 4). It seems to happen for events that have been edited/deleted - they are not edited on the phone, rather a duplicate is made. It seems as if what is supposed to happen is iTunes deletes the old one, then creates a new one, only the old one is not being deleted. This is very annoying, especially for recurring events that get edited several times!
I have found several posts about duplicate contacts and calendar entries but they all seem to be pointing to a conflict with mobile.me which I do not use. This is a simple sync between iCal and iPhone using iTunes.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I used to have this issue on my original iPhone (the 2G from 2007). You have to reset your sync data. This should help you; http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627?viewlocale=en_US BUT don't shoot the messenger on this as I did a quick Google search.

How do I remove duplicate iCloud calendar entries in iTunes

Hello Everyone and thanks in advance for any help on this issue!
The main issue is that in iTunes>Devices>Info>Sync Calendars, I see of Local calendars listed and also iCloud calendars listed (they show a portion of the address (CalDAV?) that they use to sync), and the issue is that I have DUPLICATE iCloud calendar entries here and I would love to remove them.
Here is my setup:
MBP with Lion and iPhone 3G with all updates.
All of my calendars sync with iCloud (I also have an iPad, but not issue with it.) and there are no duplicate calendars or events in iCloud on the web, so this is fine.
I sync my iCloud/iCal calendars to my iPhone 3G (iOS 4.2.1) via iTunes and this is going well, so no problems here, either.
I would just like to remove the duplicate iCloud calendars from iTunes under the Info pane so as to simplify life and my understanding. Also, there are other apps (like TimeTable) that go and read the master list of calendars. So, on this app, I see ALL of the calendars by name without being able to distinguish them any other way.
Any ideas as to how I can climb inside of iTunes and remove the duplicate iCloud calendar entries?

I can confirm that there are no duplicate contacts. Currently, because I use an iPhone 3G, my contacts are only being synced via iTunes, not via iCloud.
My question relates not to duplicate calendar events, but to duplicate calendar addresses (in iCloud) in iTunes' Info pane.
Here is a pic:
So, you can see that there are 2 entries for 'Personal', each with the iCloud address (CalDAV?) attached to it. Note that one entry says, 'Personal iCld' instead of just 'Personal'. This is because I renamed all of my iCloud calendars in iCal to see if that would help me distinguish the 'working' calendars from the duplicate entries.
I would love to be able to get rid of the extra calendars in iTunes to avoid confusion. I do not have any duplicate calendar entries on any devices at this point. I think part of this is because I have deslected the duplicate calendar references in iTunes.
Any ideas?
