Calendar events disappear in "Day" View. iphone4

I am resubmitting this problem in the correct forum.
I have two separate event entries in the calendar, one on the 31st Oct and another on the 1st November. While in the "Day" view and scrolling foreword from the 29th, the event on 31st October is visible but the event on the 1st November is no longer there. However, when I scroll backwards in the day view from the 2nd November, the event in the 1st November is now visible and the event on the 31st October, which was visible while scrolling forward, is lost. Both these events are visible in list view and month view. This can be repeated over and over. I have added new events into these same dates and the same problem exists with the new entries. My worry is that this event loss may occur on future dates as well - losing an appointment is a big deal!

And yeah, there are other dates where the events will behave like the ones on November 1st.
For example: February 1st and March 1st 2010... August 1st 2011... October 1st 2012, and so on...
I noticed that they all have something in common: they don't have any "grey" dates at the beginning of the month (in "Month" view)...

Calendar Events design on 'Day' view

Hi,
I noticed a change in my iPhone calendar.
I remember that the colors and design of events under the "Day" view were different in lower versions of iPhone (I'm using 4.1). The colors used to be more vivid and the design of an event was 3D like. Also the font of the event it self was White.
Now, in 4.1 the colors in calendars are not vivid and the design is flat.
Have any of you guys noticed it?

Calendar Events Disappear In Month View

This has occurred twice now since iOS 5 on my original iPad. My default view is Month and when I launched the app on these occasions it opened to all dates blank. Frightened me at first thinking iCloud had wiped all my events out of my calendars however I discovered that if I changed the view to year, week or whatever the events were all there and remained when I switched back to month. So far this has only happened on my iPad and not on our iPhones all running iOS 5 or on our computers syncing through iCloud. Has anyone else seen something similar?

I was hoping this would be addressed in the iOS 5.0.1 update yesterday but the issue still persists. I opened my calendar app this morning and was greeted with a blank month once again. Of course, swiping to the next month and back repopulated it but it's really, really annoying to have to do that - especially considering that the calendar always worked flawlessly before the iOS 5 update.
I've submitted another bug report and will keep my fingers crossed for the next update.

Calendar disappeared! Last week I updated to IOS7. Today as the clocks ticked over in Australia to 2014 my contacts and calendar events disappeared. Help!

Please help. With the beginning of 2014, my calendar events disappeared. I turned the iPad off, the. On again and repeat events reappeared, but all once off events/ appointments are gone! Everything was there before midnight, but I discovered around 2am, 1.1.14 that everything was gone. Bug? Help! Please.

Are your contacts stored in an MS Exchange server, in iCloud, or some other source? Setting the Sync to less than All Events should not delete events, but only stop showing them on your device. However, Outlook also has a setting to actually delete events older than a certain date. Have you checked that?
If you log in to iCloud.com (and you are syncing with iCloud) what do you see? Whatever is there is all you can get on the iPhone, unless you can restore from another source.
I also suggest enabling iCloud Backup (settings/icloud - Storage and Backup). This will create a new backup any time your phone is connected to power and WiFi, so you will always have a current backup, painlessly.

Help!! My calendar events disappeared!! D=

My calendar, contacts, and notes had been only stored on my iPhone, so I decided to sync them with Outlook so that I could restore them if I lost them on my iPhone. While my contacts and notes synced perfectly fine, my calendar events disappeared completely from my iPhone and did not appear in Outlook either. Everything is correctly checked to sync on the info tab. Please help soon! This was the only place I had my calendar stored and I need it back!!!

I just had this happen as well and have found many threads on this issue. Do a search. I don't use outlook but I know I read other people who do. I'm using iCal. I found this link but not sure it would help you.

Notifications for calendar events disappearing

Upgraded from the Yosemite beta and everything seems good, except for one detail. I use the rewinders for my calendar events as a to-do list as they remain on my desktop. But now, my event reminders pop up correctly, but they disappear during the day, including all-day events. I want them to stay on the desktop until I dismiss them, like with Mavericks.

Within the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom center of the screen. Tap on Show All Calendars. Also, ensure all your calendars are switched ON (green side showing) in your email account settings.

Calendar events showing every day

Hi all,
Recently it seems that when my Calendar app is displaying month view, every day has a little square in it - the one that indicates an event. However, about half of my days have no events at all.
I have repeating events set every eight days for four days (for my four-on four-off shift rotation) but that's about all. I'm sure I remember it used to show correctly, i.e. blocks of four with events and blocks of four without.
Anyone any ideas what's happened?

I have the same problem. With me it is only on the "Birthdays" calendar which was uploaded from iCal to my calendar server before I went with syncing with CalDAV. The daily and list formats do not show anything weird, only the monthly view. I assume it is a problem with a repeating event, but I can't find it.
I've even done a reset and reload from backup of my iPod and it did not help. Next step is probably to delete the Birthday's calendar completely on my server and see if that cures the problem. I am waiting until there is an easy way to restore it on the server.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Calendar events disappeared after updating to iOS 8.1

i updated to iOS 8.1 yesterday. I had all my calendar events in my iPhone calendar app and WeekCal app this morning. This afternoon, they disappeared. I checked my iCal on my computer. The events are all there. How do I sync the events. I prefer them to go into WeekCal, but at this point, either is fine.

Things I have already tried:
- logging out of itunes, then restarting
- unlinking the device via the 'view Apple ID' menu
- updating to iOS 8.1.2
correction to my original post, it is not all purchased movies and shows it is trying, just 9 specific ones.

Exchange Calendar Events Disappearing from iPhone after Editing

iPhone 6 running iOS8.
Exchange calendar events are disappearing from iPhone right after I edit them from my phone. But they are still visible on my MacBook in Outlook.
It used to happen very rarely but lately it has been happening very frequently. Haven't been able to find a pattern and re-create it.
Tried searching online for this issue. Found quite a few threads about calendar sync issues, including the GMT bug but haven't been able to find this exact issue that I have been facing.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I have the same problem and it has nothing to do with filing or moving emails, for instance just before I logged in here to find a solution for the problem, I had just received and email on my iPad. I was reading it then clicked on a link. When I finished reading the link In Safari and went back to the email, it was gone. I have replied to an email then come back to it and it was gone. This had nothing to do with viewing the email on a ore device. This is a real problem I have asked about before and no one seems to know the answer.

It's part of a managing your space thing. The more calendar events you keep, the more you have contributing to the 'other' in your storage.
You can go into settings, mail, contacts and calendar and choose how far back you sync events. Mine is set to 6 months, or you can set it to all events. You just have to be aware that the more you keep the more space it takes.

I have a calendar which includes seperate start and end date fields. I need to write a query that will return events for each day in a month, but I need to be mindful of the fact that some events span multiple days. Here is my query so far which isn't working quite right.

The query is located inside a loop which loops through the days in a given month.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Any assistance would be appreciated.

You have to do nested loops - one for the days of the month, and once for the query. It probably does not matter which is nested inside of what. You want your query ordered by EndDate. Then you can do something like this.
