Calendar events disappear

I've just got back from my physio who is ready to dump Calendar on iCloud because it has suddenly become unreliable. She is normally in week view and increasingly sees blanks, books people in - only to find that the next time she looks, there are two events for the same time (she gets to see the correct view by juggling between day, week and month views). She is running Calendar on Windows 7 (but sees the appointments OK on her iPhone) and I wonder if this is a known problem for Windows users?
I'm a Mac user, so cant help her any more. This is the French countryside, so she has few experts to turn to.

I have had several issues with events randomly being deleted as well. No luck yet figuring out the cause.

Calendar disappeared! Last week I updated to IOS7. Today as the clocks ticked over in Australia to 2014 my contacts and calendar events disappeared. Help!

Please help. With the beginning of 2014, my calendar events disappeared. I turned the iPad off, the. On again and repeat events reappeared, but all once off events/ appointments are gone! Everything was there before midnight, but I discovered around 2am, 1.1.14 that everything was gone. Bug? Help! Please.

Are your contacts stored in an MS Exchange server, in iCloud, or some other source? Setting the Sync to less than All Events should not delete events, but only stop showing them on your device. However, Outlook also has a setting to actually delete events older than a certain date. Have you checked that?
If you log in to iCloud.com (and you are syncing with iCloud) what do you see? Whatever is there is all you can get on the iPhone, unless you can restore from another source.
I also suggest enabling iCloud Backup (settings/icloud - Storage and Backup). This will create a new backup any time your phone is connected to power and WiFi, so you will always have a current backup, painlessly.

Help!! My calendar events disappeared!! D=

My calendar, contacts, and notes had been only stored on my iPhone, so I decided to sync them with Outlook so that I could restore them if I lost them on my iPhone. While my contacts and notes synced perfectly fine, my calendar events disappeared completely from my iPhone and did not appear in Outlook either. Everything is correctly checked to sync on the info tab. Please help soon! This was the only place I had my calendar stored and I need it back!!!

I just had this happen as well and have found many threads on this issue. Do a search. I don't use outlook but I know I read other people who do. I'm using iCal. I found this link but not sure it would help you.

Google calendar events disappear

I have been synching all of my Apple devices (iMac, MacBook, iPad, iPod Touch) using Mobil Me. I use gmail and Google calendar for all my events. Never had a problem until today. Every time I add an event to my Google calendar in iCal, the event disappears when iCal refreshes on my iMac. Other devices retain all the events. I have set up Google Calendar in iCal using CalDAV following the instructions and it has worked in the past. What's happening?

I was having mysterious issues with my iPhone iCal today. I too use gmail calendars as my hub because it is central to my work place. I have used CDAV in the past with no issues. So what I just did successfully was to delete my gmail account from the iPhone accounts preference, made sure that my MobileMe calendar was OFF, and reaccessed only the gmail account with the calendar only setting (as my work gmail is accessed by a separate account). This worked fine. In a few minutes all of my CDAV calendars loaded correctly and I'm back in business.

Notifications for calendar events disappearing

Upgraded from the Yosemite beta and everything seems good, except for one detail. I use the rewinders for my calendar events as a to-do list as they remain on my desktop. But now, my event reminders pop up correctly, but they disappear during the day, including all-day events. I want them to stay on the desktop until I dismiss them, like with Mavericks.

Within the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom center of the screen. Tap on Show All Calendars. Also, ensure all your calendars are switched ON (green side showing) in your email account settings.

Calendar events disappeared after updating to iOS 8.1

i updated to iOS 8.1 yesterday. I had all my calendar events in my iPhone calendar app and WeekCal app this morning. This afternoon, they disappeared. I checked my iCal on my computer. The events are all there. How do I sync the events. I prefer them to go into WeekCal, but at this point, either is fine.

Things I have already tried:
- logging out of itunes, then restarting
- unlinking the device via the 'view Apple ID' menu
- updating to iOS 8.1.2
correction to my original post, it is not all purchased movies and shows it is trying, just 9 specific ones.

Calendar events disappearing ios6

I'm unable to add a calendar event from my phone without it disappearing. I add an event, it shows up in the calendar and then disappears within 10 seconds; never to be seen again.
The calendars are turned on in icloud and my mail accounts. I'm not using Exchange.
Anyone else having this issue?

I should note that it appears to be happening only in past months. A bunch of my calendar items in September have disappeared and when I go to add them back, they don't stay. The delete themselves after a few seconds.

Calendar Events Disappeared

My iphone calendar events have all disappeared and I am unable to add new events. It says the calendar is not "set". How can I "set" the calendar and find the events I've already added??? Help!

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPhone shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

Exchange Calendar Events Disappearing from iPhone after Editing

iPhone 6 running iOS8.
Exchange calendar events are disappearing from iPhone right after I edit them from my phone. But they are still visible on my MacBook in Outlook.
It used to happen very rarely but lately it has been happening very frequently. Haven't been able to find a pattern and re-create it.
Tried searching online for this issue. Found quite a few threads about calendar sync issues, including the GMT bug but haven't been able to find this exact issue that I have been facing.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I have the same problem and it has nothing to do with filing or moving emails, for instance just before I logged in here to find a solution for the problem, I had just received and email on my iPad. I was reading it then clicked on a link. When I finished reading the link In Safari and went back to the email, it was gone. I have replied to an email then come back to it and it was gone. This had nothing to do with viewing the email on a ore device. This is a real problem I have asked about before and no one seems to know the answer.

ICloud calendar events disappearing

I have iCal on my Mac at home, synced to my iPhone, and then I use iCloud at work (from a PC). Today at work, I was looking at my iCloud calendar and several events disappeared from right in front of my eyes. However, they are still on my phone! (I can't yet check if they're on my Mac at home.) What is going on here?
I suspect that it has something to do with weekly repeating events - all the events which disappeared were in that category - but how do I get them back? My iPhone is set to sync 'all events' already.

Apple doesn't seem to be doing anything about this. So maybe we can at least help them diagnose and fix!
Question 1: did you all recently upgrade to Mountain Lion? I did so a few weeks ago.
Question 2: I noticed this problem with only SOME recurring events, mostly those that have weekly recurrence. Events with daily recurrence have not disappeared. Is this the same with others?

Events being deleted automatically from calendar after 30 days? Using iphone5s and iPad with iCloud events disappear approximately 30 days need past events on calendars.

It's part of a managing your space thing. The more calendar events you keep, the more you have contributing to the 'other' in your storage.
You can go into settings, mail, contacts and calendar and choose how far back you sync events. Mine is set to 6 months, or you can set it to all events. You just have to be aware that the more you keep the more space it takes.

My wife changed her AppleID, and her Calendar events have disappeared from her iCloud account (even though the prompt said they'd be merged).
Her contacts, notes and other iCloud info all seem to still be there. The problem persists across the entire iCloud platform (iOS, OSX, web).

Well Sir, it depends. Sometimes it depends on what email those Calendar events are hooked to. So i would suggest you try checking if her Calendar is actually connected to the right platform by going to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars - Scroll down to the bottom under Calendars - Default Calendar - Tap on it to see if its connected to iCloud or a particular email address. You can fuddle with it to see where all her events are saved. Sometimes it might be that, those events were hooked to her email or something. I hope this helps, please keep me posted.
