Calendar Events Dropping off from iPhone 4

I have couple of users in my organization which are heavy calendar users. Occasionally meeting will disappear from there iPhone 4 or iPad. Temporary fix is to turn the calendar off and delete the events and turn back on to re-sync. This option will work for a few days/week and again same issue will appear. I have made sure that all the devices have the most recent IOS.
I can see the meeting on there Outlook Calendar (Outlook 2010/2011). Outlook versions are also upto date. Has anyone seen this issue. Apple please help!!

I understand that some of your older events are being removed from your iPhone calendar. There is a setting on your iPhone that I would suggest changing to help alleviate this problem. Please follow the instructions located in the attached article.
Get help using iCloud Calendar - Apple Support
Change your sync settings
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Under Calendars, tap Sync. If Sync is set to All Events, set it to a specific timeframe, such as Events 1 Month Back. If it's already set to a specific duration, set it to All Events.
Tap the Home button.
Wait several minutes. Open Calendar, tap Calendars, and pull down to refresh.

ICloud calendar events are gone from iPhone and iPad

I turned on iPhone and iPad this am and and icloud calendar events are missing. When I opened iPad calendar, events were there, but then disappeared and now are gone. All events are still calendar in iCloud on PC. How do I get them back on iPhone and iPad?

i.e. on the phone settings > mail, contacts, calendars > calendars > sync.

Please help, my calendar events are missing from iphone, ipad, and icloud that were there last week

I use the calendar on my iphone and I pad for my entire life, including work, everything for my boys and all of my hubbys appointments.
Last Friday was the last time that I inputed appointments into my calendar and everything previous was in there and on my ipad and icloud.
I went in this morning to check an appointment time for something next week and found that 99% of the events that I had scheduled since the beginning of the year are missing. And they are missing from my iphone, my ipad, my icloud, and no longer in my Yahoo calendar.
I am drfinately in a panic, i need these ....
Has anyone had this problem?
Can anyone tell me how to get them back please

Google contacts and calendar events entered on my iPhone 5s are not syncing with my google account.

Newly entered contacts and calendar events entered on my IPhone 5s are not syncing to google.
Facts that may be pertinent:
- I switched from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5s and did the easy option of having it automatically set up like my previous phone, so I did not change any part of the setup. It is possible that it stopped syncing at that time, based on which contacts have synced and which haven't.
- My gmail account is set up as Exchange, with Mail, Contacts, and Calendars set to sync.
- Server: m.google.com, Use SSl is on, S/MIME is off (I don't actually know what these are, but maybe they matter?)
- Fetch New Data / Gmail account is set to Push
- Contacts and Calendar Default Account is Gmail
- In the Contacts app under Groups I have only GMAIL checked.
I've read that Google recommends CardDAV, which I gather is not the same as Exchange?
I'm afraid to delete anything and start over, for fear of losing my contacts.
Is there a difference between the gmail account I set up and what the Contacts app calls GMAIL?
If there is anything I should communicate about how things are set up on the Google end, let me know.

Try this...
Go to the isync program on your Mac.
Go to Preferences in the main menu
Hit Reset Sync History
I'm pretty sure this is how I fixed it... so far so good.

Error while drag and drop photo from Iphone to PC

My PC OS: Window Vista 32bit
when I connect iphone to PC. I can access iphone by Portable device->My Iphone-> Internal storage-> DCIM->100apple-> xxx.jpg
and when I copy the pic and paste it to my PC, or drag and drop photo from Iphone to PC, it fail and show below error and force to close all explorer.

Why do my calendar events get deleted from my iphone while I'm viewing the calendar?

I my work schedule in the calendar on my iPhone4S (iOS 5.0.1) earlier today. While trying to review when I work, I saw all 5 calendar events get deleted. There are no longer any events on the days that I added work to my calendar. Anyone else experience this and know how to fix it or recover the events? This is the second time my work schedule has been deleted right in front of my face on my phone.

This happens to me INCESSANTLY. I'm looking at my calendar events one second, and POOF!, the next second all of the events I've entered into the calendar- with the exception of birthdays that are on the actual contact information for a person- are GONE. My calendar settings are set to sync all events- no timeframe- and always have been. This happened to me nonstop on my old iPhone 3GS, and I was sure it was the phone causing this issue. Now, I have my new iPhone 5 in my hands and same ol' , different equipment. I have done EVERYTHING I can think of to prevent this from happening or to restore the data- including rebooting, holding home button and on/off at same time, etc.- and NOTHING works to restore the data. And then, just as magically as the data disappeared, POOF!- the data is back randomly sometime later. That "later" may be 5 mins, a day, several days. This is an absurd and EXASPERATING glitch that APPLE NEEDS TO FIX IMMEDIATELY!!! I'm starting to hate the iPhone and Apple in general when I continuously experience HUGE glitches like this that have a profound impact on what you're trying to accomplish within a feature that you DEPEND on... yet Apple has "never heard of that problem before". You suck, Apple. Don't send your problems out into the real world, to users who just gave you $800 for another glitchy piece of equipment that never solves your software issues.

Why are random calendar events being deleted from my iphone when I sync it with ical?

My settings are such that events entered on both devices should push to both devices when I sync. The events being deleted from my iphone are not consistent (ie. older than a certain date), they are random.

How can I automatically create calendar events using text from a Pages document?

Hello,
I'm looking for a way that I can automatically have calendar events created, by extracting dates and times from a table within a Pages document I have saved on my Mac.
Currently, I record my working hours/dates on a Pages document in table format, so that I can record and ensure I receive payment for all hours I work.
After finding out which shifts I have for the week, I insert the day, date, start time and end time (for each shift), into a table within a Pages document.
I'm wondering if there is any way - such as through Automator, Apple Scripts, etc. - that I can then have the Calendar app automatically create events from that data - including the date, start and end times for each shift?
Also, if possible, is there a way to set each event to automatically alert me at a chosen time (1 day, 2 days, etc.) beforehand?

I totally agree with you.
Where are the fixes for a long string of bugs, glitches and user issues?
Looking at the list of new "features" for the next OSX, Maverick (what a dumb name!), all I am seeing is Apple ripping off other peoples' ideas, something it swinges others mercilessly for.
There is not one thing in Maverick that I don't already have, only more so, with 3rd party add-ons.
Apple seems bereft of ideas now and I am totally mystified what it is doing with all that money and employees it has accumulated.

Calendar does not sync from iPhone to iCloud

Calendar events that I create, update, or delete on my iPhone do not sync to iCloud, Mac, and iPad. I have deleted and added my calendar on my iPhone and reset my iPhone a few times but still calendar doesn't seem to sync to iCloud. Could you please help resolve this? Thanks.

I am using an iPhone 4 and all of a sudden, I can't get my calendar events on my phone to up sync to the icloud. Contacts work great from phone to cloud..but events don't work at all.
Help!

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

How can I import 100s of *.ics individual calendar events & todo's from SL into ML Calendar?

This question is RE a clean install of ML ... moving from SL (which I did a while back when the HDD with SL died - luckily I had a TM backup).
I have a number of calendar events (including to-do's) that I need to transfer to the new ML operating system. I didn't get the chance to 'export' my calendar before my SL version died, but I do have a Time Machine backup. When I looked in the ~library/calendar folder, there are hundreds of individual events.
Is there any way of copy all of these to my new calnedar in ML? What happens to the to-dos ... as the new calendar doesn't have to-do's and is replaced with reminders? How would I normally rebuild my Calendar in this situation?

Use Migration Assistant to transfer the user data from your backup to a new account, then export the calendars and reminders and import them in the existing account. After that you can delete the new account.

after updating to ios5 on my iphone 4, I had duplicate calendar events, I deleted the duplicates; but now the events no longer exist in my iphone even though they do on my mac?

The Mac and the iPhone should both have iCloud enabled and they should sync up.
The duplicate entries may have been because you had synced the calendar both with iTunes and iCloud. It should be done one way or the other, not both.

Drag/Drop Pictures from iPhone to MackBook

I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to get pictures off my iPhone. (I've never used the camera before, so I know almost nothing about the workflow).
I tethered my iPhone to my MacBook. I then opened iPhoto on my MacBook. Once opened, it showed the 20 or so pictures that were taken on the iPhone. I pressed COMMAND+A (Select All), and then dragged the pictures to the destination folder on the MacBook. I'm fairly certain OSX picks up the action since there's a small badge by the cursor with the picture count as I drag around the screen.
Lo and behold, nothing gets transferred. I'm absolutely befuddled at the hardships the world's most advanced operating system is creating for such a simple operation.
Does anyone know how to put pictures where I want them?

So I found I could Drag and Drop using iImage Capture.
Unfortuantely, I cannot delete the no-longer-needed photos using either iImage Capture or iPhoto.
How the **** does somebody delete the photos on the iPhone? Why the **** is Apple making this **** so difficult?
