Calendar icon disappeared

The Calendar icon has disappeared from my iMac intel desktop. A disc search shows nothing.
Any ideas? I synced it recently with my iPad2, don't know if this is a factor.
Thanks.

Do a Spotlight Search (magnifying glass icon in the upper right of your screen) and type "iCal" in the search. Does it find it?

My calendar Icon will not remain in the task bar?  It keeps closing down and I have to go to Launchpad all the time? This has happened since Mavericks update?  Can someone help me please?

    You mean the Dock?
Launch the Calendar app from the Applications folder.
Then click and hold the new Calendar app icon in the Dock then click Options > Keep in Dock

  • I can't find my calendar icon

I looked at my fun after playing a game and my calendar icon disappeared.  My calendar is still on the phone just the icon is missing.  Do I have to restore everything?

When I woke up this morning, my Calendar icon was missing from my iPhone 4, too. Someone, on another forum, suggested checking in folders. I have only one folder on my Home page, and it was not in there. I checked other folders (I only use a couple) and it was not in there either.
I tried restarting my iPhone by holding down the on/off and Home buttons at the same time, until I saw the Apple logo. After the phone rebooted, the Calendar icon was still missing.
    Any other thoughts?

The Calendar icon has disappeared from my dock and I can't find a way to restore it or to download the Calendar app. The iCal app is not in my applications folder. Help please.

Do you have Time Machine enabled.   If so, go back through your previous months until it features in your Application folder.   Then restore.

  • My calendar icon has disappeared from my iphone

My calendar icon has disappeared from my iphone home screen.  It is not in the hotspot tray either.
    Help!

    You cannot delete it.
It is likely i a folder, or on another page.
If you do not find it, then you can reset the home screen layout.
This can be found in the manual.

  • Calendar info disappeared from laptop and then from handheld

Please help- I have a new TX and today i noticed that my calendar entries were missing from my laptop palm application so i figured i would hotsync it ( after telling it that handheld rewrites computer) and almost all of my entries on my handheld disappeared.  I am trying to reconstruct it but i can't find it in archives or backup.  Can anyone help?  thanks.
    Post relates to: Palm TX

I'm not sure what happen why you lost all your calendars when you hotsync your Palm. I will try to help you restore your calendar data.
    About the file 1142K.
Before we touch this file make a backup copy. Also you said you just rebuild some of your calendar data, let's make a backup copy of those data that you had created.
Open the Palm Desktop software and select the Date/Calendar icon on the left to view your calendar data.
Click on File > Export and give the file name and remember where you are saving the file, ie. calendar.dba (we need this file later after we restore your 1142k file) and click on export.
    Close the Palm Desktop software.
Using windows explorer, rename the datebook.bak located in your C:\Program Files\Palm\(your userid)\datebook folder to datebook.dat (hoping the datebook.bak file is not corrupted).
After you rename the file from datebook.bak to datebook.dat open Palm Desktop software and select the Date/Calendar icon and see if you had restore your lost calendar data.
If successful, you need to "Import" the backup file (calendar.dba) so you will still have the ones that you had rebuilt.
To Import, from Palmdesktop click on File > Import and locate the calendar.dba file, select the file and click Import. Verify your calendar and make sure you can see the one that you rebuilt.
    Good luck and post back...

  • My iCloud calendar icon shows jumbled numbers on my PC

My iCloud Calendar icon shows jumbled numbers on my PC.  What does this mean?

I think you might need to experiment with different levels of zoom. It might depend on your resolution. I found if I zoomed out too far, a slightly paler area appeared at the bottom of the screen. If I zoomed in until this just disappeared (and no further) the numbers displayed correctly. Again, you may need a refresh to get it to work.

  • What's the number tag on the Calendar icon?

Yesterday I got an invitation to an event, which I acceptd. The event appeared correctly in Calendar, but now I have this number next to the Calendar icon in Launchpad and in Cmd-tab.
What's that about and how do I get rid of it? If it appears with every invitation that's added, it's going to be pretty silly, and kind of worthless. Anyone else seeing this, and know what's going on.
    Thanks.
P.S. I do not see this on the Calendar icon on my iPhone, BTW.

Never mind. Figured it out. Apparently double-clicking and loading the invitation is not accepting it. You also have to accept it separately. When you do the number disappears.

  • Calendar Icon Not Visible although App still there

My calendar icon continues to disappear. The app still remains (with all appts etc) but with either a blank space on the Home screen where the icon should be, between two apps on the first row, or sometimes a partial number such as a half of the number five for the date (the fifth) which is part of the icon will remain visible. If I reboot it reappears, but then disappears not long after. It seemed to begin when I updated my bb messenger app. on the fourth. It could be just a coincidence. I checked the memory space and it is fine for both device and card. Is there maybe a limit to the amount of icons you can place on the home screen? Is there a way to permanently resolve this without having to continually reboot? Maybe re-installing everything?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

What you might have to do is re-install your OS.  That should stabilize this calendar issue you're experiencing.
Plug your phone into your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Wait for your phone to connect to it.  Click Device at the top of the software and Restore from the drop-down menu.  Choose the most recent restore point from the list and proceed.  Once your phone is restored and reboots, you should be back to normal.
Let us know if that helps you.

  • 8310 - Calendar Icon Disappeard

I have the 8310. All of a sudden, the calendar icon has disappeared from my screen. Anyone know how to get it back? I'm wondering if it hit something to make it "hide".  Thank you!!

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
You could possible have hidden it -- there is a command to do so. On your homescreen, click the key and select "Show All"...that will reveal hidden icons, and you can then unhide them as well. You also could have moved it into a sub-folder...dig around in those as well...as well as showing all hidden icons in those subfolders.
    Best!

  • Iphone ical icon disappeared from screen-how to get it back?

My ical icon disappeared from my main screen on my 4G iphone. I can still access the calendar by using spotlight so I know it's on the phone but how can I replace icon?

Stock apps can't be deleted, so either its been moved to another page or placed in a folder. If you're positive you've looked on every page & in every folder and still can't see it, do this: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. See if you see it now.
