Calendar Invitation - Only one organizer allowed in scheduling object resource

Hello everybody,
Server is Mac OS 10.8.5 with Server.app 2.2.2
One User is creating an event and is inviting other colleagues and is setting the Place to "xyz".
When the users are getting the invitation in iCal a error message "CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation" is coming up, with "ignoring", "back to server" etc ...
When having a look at the Client Error log this shows up:

Someone an idea why it says "Only one organizer allowed in scheduling object resource" ? The place for the meeting isn't a resource that's created in the Server.app, instead it's a free word.
The attendees shouldn't get that error about a resource or am I missunderstand something?

From your description, I would like to verify if you grant users some permissions (such as Editor, Owner) some days or weeks ago when they can directly book resource meeting in OWA. If yes, please check whether these permissions are there after Exchange
upgrading.
I have some tests in my environment using Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010. If I don't grant amy01 any permission to room mailbox's calendar, I can book resource meeting directly on Outlook but not in OWA.

The Managers want to see at least 3 months for the leave , in order to schedule resources/coverage .MSS iView 'Team Calendar' display only one Month . Can we change the number of months ? or use another tool/functionality via the portal ?

In SAP standard config there is no option so as to display more than one month on in Team calender iView.
In you case you will have to do development.

It only gives you the option to cancel. I select cancel, when I try to exit device manager, it prompts me to save again, I click cancel, when I return to the Device manager, the setting are correct, in other words, if I enabled a port and says its failed on saving, it did save it as enabled. I have two SAN switches, this only happens with one every time, the same one. How do I fix this?

Please check whether there are duplicate custom headers in your code.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Delete the intellisync folder, and go through the setup wizard again.
Select only calendar, one day prior and past. Set up for one way device to Outlook.
Set conflict resolution to notify you. If successful. Try the one way device to Outlook sync
for the full calendar, again with notification to you for conflict, that way you can keep
unwanted deletes from occurring. If successful. Go to the device setup wizard and
set up for the normal two way sync for all apps. I do recommend keeping the conflict
resolution to notify you. It can be very useful in keeping small problems for becoming

Is there a way to "rollback" only one row of a view object? That is, two or more rows have been modified but we wish to only restore one of the rows to the original (database) values.
Is there a way to retain all of the current rows in all of the view objects for an application module after issuing a jbo:Rollback?

Forms 10g only one item allowed to have a value

Hi all,
I was wondering. What is the best way to make sure that only one of my items has a value? I have a couple of textboxes with different meaning but want to restrict the user to only be available to fill in one of them.
I suppose the best thing would be to disable the other items as soon as he starts to write in one of them.
Are there any builtins for this behaviour or should I add some clever code to every items event (which one?)

You can enable/disable or set update allowed properties of other fields on WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM trigger. If user enters anything in the the field, then disable other fields otherwise enable.
If you have many items which needs this kind of behaviour work then you might consider (with caution) of putting the trigger on block level, otherwise you have to code it on all items.

I have tried to limit calendar to only one item on notifications screen (ios 8), and even to turn it off, no joy.

The Calendar seems to show on the notifications screen, with room for 3 entries, regardless of settings. Any way to limit it to one, or get it off the notifications screen?

You're talking about two different things: notifications and widgets. The lock screen will only show notifications that you've enabled to show there. When you open notification center, there are two views: "Today" and "Notifications." Today shows widgets. That is where you see the calendar with room for events. It is basically a preview of your upcoming calendar. Under notifications is where you will get notifications if upcoming appointments that have reminders. The settings for each screen are different.
To control your calendar notifications, go to settings--notifications--calendar.
To control the widget, pull down notification center and select edit.
You can turn off the widget but still receive notifications in notification center and on your lock screen or vice versa.

WRT120N - DMZ works, port forwarding doesn't work; only one device allowed in DMZ

I have an WRT120N router and two DVRs. I can get either one of the DVRs to work just fine if I put it in the DMZ. Neither one works when I enable port forwarding. Since I cannot have two devices in the DMZ with this router, I cannot use that approach (throwing them in the DMZ) as a viable solution.
I need help finding out what I am doing incorrectly with the port forwarding. Basically I am creating an entry for each port of each device, going to the correct IP address of that device. I have tried both protocols as well as just TCP. This does not work. Just for fun, I tried using the port range forwarding and this does not work either. The only thing that works is if I throw either of the devices in the DMZ.
So what I have essentially is this:
DEVICE1 / 192.168.0.120 (internal) / PORT 999 / works great in DMZ but not in port fwd
DEVICE2 / 192.168.0.121 (internal) / PORT 456 / works great in DMZ but not in port fwd
I have used Wireshark from a remote computer to observe what happens when I navigate to the URL that I need, such as http://myjunk.ddnsprovider.xyz:999 (where 999 is the port on which the device in question serves). I don't see anything out of the ordinary. (I assume there is no way to run a packet sniffer on the router.) (Can we "telnet" into the router, btw?)
So either I am doing something wrong, or there is a need for a router software update, or the router is blocking some other protocol, etc. Help is much appreciated! BTW, tried with the router firewall off, too. No go.

Whats the current firmware installed on your router? Have you tried to upgrade the firmware on your Router?

When accessing my office on outlook web access, my calendar shows only one day at a time. Can I view a week or month at a time?

I am able to access my Outlook email, calendar and contacts but some of the functionality I enjoyed on my old PC disappeared when I switched to an iMac.

I've upgraded to Firefox 8 but don't see any difference. Can you provide some guidance on changing the calendar view?

Calendar syncs only one way

Just got into iCloud. Calendar from iMac went into the cloud calendar without problem. Adding new event from iMac or MBA goes t the cloud canendar without problem. However, the entry from MBA doesn't show in the iMac canedar nor does the iMac entry show in MBA calendar.
Uff Da!! While I was typing this both showed up. That's about 45 minutes after I entered them. Is that delay expected? The new events showed up almost immediately in the iCloud site calendar but it took the 45 minutes to get into other device calendars.

My "refresh calendars" said "push." No idea what that means but I changed it to 5 minutes. Interestingly, shortly after sending that I tried again and the response was about 3 minutes. I live in the country, telephone and ISP service sometimes erratic. Perhaps the problem is between me and the main digital highway? Well, anyway that's an easy way to pass blame without much chance of being called on it.
Fred, the boat is on jackstands, covered in snow. Will be moving her to Bayfield (Apostle Islands) next spring. Hope for lots of mini cruisiing.

My calendar syncs only one direction (mac to iPhone) but not the other direction?

I used to run a sync of my iPhone and my newly entered appointments would sync both directions whether I had entered them on my iphone or on my mackbook PRO.
Now when I enter an entry on my phone it does not upload to my Mac Calendar. but if I entered the appointment on the MAC then it does sync to my iphone5.
Not sure if it changed after an ios upgrade or when. Tried it several times both wirelessly syncing as wel as with a USB cable.
Any ideas if this is a setting?

If you are syncing using USB you can sync your iPhone to your computer which will update iCal with the iPhone's calendar. Then when you plug in your iPad and sync your iPad, it too will update with the same information from iCal. You are declaring a new local variable called preSort, which has scope to the end of the constructor.

ICal sync between two people if only one person has a .Mac account

Is there a way for two people to sync/edit iCal calendars if only one person has a .Mac account? I'd only want to selectively share/sync part of my iCal calendar and not the entire iCal calendar.
Any ideas?

I am trying at the moment with fingers crossed.
One has Leopard the other Tiger. I hope it works.
Oh I turned on airplane mode and disconnected from the internet just to be sure sync doesn't get stuck.
Asked me to resolve 6 conflicts.. that's a good sign. It is taking a long time though. I hope it won't take so long every time I go from one computer to another. Otherwise it is easier to pass the files via iChat.
The file for address book is addressbook data in library/applicationsupport/address book
for iCal I make an export VCal file and then on the other computer delete the calendar and import the new one.
On the computer with Music I set it to manage manually.
OK I think I will have to do it like that because this took forever then it said it would have to modify 836 entries on my calendar for what was almost the same file.
The photo sync is annoying but I just turn off iPhoto when it asks to find my library (or you can make another program be the default program when you attach a camera and that program will come on then you can just quit it). I find the auto photo sync annoying as it takes so long and I would rather do that manually.

Cannot respond to Calendar Invites

Hello,
I can not respond to Calendar Invites on my Z10 that originate from another Z10.
I have two devices here, and when I send a calendar invite from one device to the other using an outlook.com email address, the other device receives the event, however displays a message saying "You have already responded to this event" (see attachement). The buttons to accept/reject/tentative are also not available.
Notes:
- Both devices use outlook.com email addresses set to sync via ActiveSync
- When an invite that originates from the Web (outlook.com) and is sent to either of the Z10 devices I am able to respond to the event invite
- When an invite that originates from a Z10 is sent to an email address I am able to respond to the event invite from the Web
Things I've tried:
- Deleting and readding the accounts to the devices
- Turning on/offf Calendar syncing
Would anyone have any ideas how to address this?

I'm having the exact same issue when I send meeting invites to people through my hotmail ActiveSync account on my Z10. They experience the exact same behaviour as you described on their Z10s as well.
From my Z10 I viewed the sent meeting invitations in my hotmail sent items folder and compared invitations I'd sent from my hotmail account in my PC web browser, and invitations I'd sent from my Z10. I noticed that those sent from my web browser appear as proper meeting invitations. Those that I'd sent from my Z10 appear as sent email addresses with an attachment named "meeting.ics". So, I'm guessing the Z10 isn't processing the .ics attachment 100% correctly.
I tested this by sending meeting invitations from my Z10 to a colleague who is on BES (Exchange) and observed same described behavior on her Z10, but in her PC Outlook client the invitation worked as expected.
I hope someone can assist!
