Calendar invites do not work

Since me and my partner updated to IOS 7 yesterday on our iPhone's the calendar invites no longer work. We set them up and send them but the other person never receives the invite to accept?

I too am having this issue. Both my Gmail and my Work's ActiveSync Exchange emails are setup on my phone. Calendar and Email are turned ON for both. Sending Meeting requests to either my gmail or work email do not pop up with notifications in the calendar up. Badge icons do not appear on the calendar app.
Inside of the calendar app, the inbox section doesn't show anything.
If i go to the date and time on the calendar for the event, it is already there on the calendar, as if it has been accepted.
my notification settings for calendar are:
show alerts
show badge app icon
show in notification center
show on lock screen
I've tried disabling and re-enabling background up refresh (the global setting, there isn't an individual setting for calendars) this also did not work.

My airport utility detects it and try to connect. However, after a few moments it says "An unexpected error occurred Try again.

Events are displayed in the calendar, but the reminders do not work. No sound, no on-screen does not show up anything. I tried to do and reset and Restart.
Firmware 4.3.3 did not help

Icloud calendar invite lotus notes

Ever since I migrated from MobileMe to iCloud last week, my calendar invites from both my iPhone and my iMac are no longer readable by Lotus Notes (my wife). This is, obviously, a big problem!
I searched the Google-verse and do not see any other mention of this.
Am I alone?

I decided to open a real problem, so I went to Support.Apple.com and within a few short clicks, Apple called me.
I accidentally hung up on them, and they called back in 2 minutes.
I then waited in the queue for a few short minutes. The person who answered, understood my problem and transferred me to the iCal department where I waited another 15 minutes.
The iCal department then did some research for 10 minutes, and came back to tell me that, unfortunately, iCal is working / not broken. I disagreed, saying that this is my business computer and not being able to send meeting invites to anyone not using a MAC is insane.
The support guy suggested I tell the developers directly, via http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html.
I already did that.
He suggested that you all do to. The more people who feedback, the faster we'll get a fix!

Calendar invites are not possible

I am frustrated. Working with 10.8.5.Invites via ical are not possible. Is there anywhere a good and helpful manual which shows the different steps.
Once I enter the first letters of an mail address, than choosing the one from the pull down list it is always marked with a "?" question mark. Then I push the button "sent" or "refreh" button, but the person which should receive the invitation does not receives it, nor can I check whether the mail actually was sent.
Would be really interested in how to solve this problem

Sorry for the late reply, it is still an irritating issue. Apple says it's Google's poblem. Google thinks it's Apple's issue. Extremly irritating.

Calendar invites are not showing up in the Calendar Inbox

Calendar invites from Google Calendar are not showing up in the iPhone Calendar Inbox. They do show up in the actual iPhone calendar (greyed out waiting for a response) but if you are managing multiple invites it's very important to view the invites especially if dealing with multiple invites on different days. This is affecting users with Iphone4, 4s and 5 on multiple iOS's.

Calendar popup is not working properly in af:inputDate

HI,
I am using af:inputDate component as,
<af:inputDate label="Input Date :"/>
The popup calendar is not working properly in my case. When I click on calendar buttong of the component, it is opening the calendar popup properly with showing proper date.
Now in this popup I am able to change month or year only once. Means if I am watching January month initialy and now I changed it to May, it reflect the month properly. But before closing the dialog, if I again change the month to some another month, it is not changing the calendar at all. The same case is with year also.
One more thing i want you to notice is, this component is working properly on a sample page where there is nothing in that page. But when I am adding it in my application with the same tag, it is not working.
Can any one tell me where I should look for the fix?

It's always frustrating when someone says "it is giving me exception" without providing the details. It's akin to going to your automobile mechanic and saying, "a warning light comes on." Wouldn't you think it pertinent to tell the mechanic which warning light came on? If yes, then why wouldn't you provide the exception (and perhaps the pertinent part of the stack trace) here?
Furthermore, since it works in a "very simple page," the component does at least work part of the time. If your car started at least part of the time, you'd tell your mechanic what you did that causes it not to start (for example, when I leave the headlamps on all night, it doesn't start the following morning). So... what is special about your page that it doesn't work?

Calendar notification banner not working

Greetings,
I am using Entourage for my calendar and everything works fine with basic alerts and what not priot to IOS5. Now when I turn on Calendar notifications for the "Notification Menu" on the slide down it will NOT display the calendar banner within the notifications screen correctly. You can see where it should be but it keeps flashing the calendar banner and not actually putting it in its place below weather or stock quotes depending on how it is displayed.
Anyone else experiencing this weird behaviour and if so any resolution?

Calendar invites suddenly stop working

My wife and i both have icloud accounts linked to aol and yahoo emails respectively. Calendar invites through ICloud have been working fine up until last week. She enters an entry, adds me as an invitee clicks done and about 2 seconds later that invite just disappears from her calendar and I never get it. On my side, I can add her as an invitee but she never gets an email or a calendar invite to accept/decline. What's up? Didn't make any changes to anything and it just stops working. Can someone help??

IPhoto '11 "Buy Calendar" button does not work

I am running Mac OSX Mountain Lion Version 10.8.2. I have iPhoto '11. All software is up to date. I have created a calendar. When I click "Buy Calendar", the screen goes white for roughly two minutes. Another scrambled screen comes up. See below:
There is a link to "Check Out" at the bottom. I click it, nothing happens. Then I force quit. I have checked "United States" in Preferences>Advanced>Print Products Store. I have rebuilt the library by holding down option command when opening iPhoto. I have rebuilt the library by downloading the iPhoto Library Manager. I have created a new temporary library, created a test calendar and tried to buy it. That did not work. I have previewed it first, that did not work. I have read every forum there is on this issue and tried every remedy and nothing works. Apple wants $19 to answer my question. I refuse. I know others have had this problem. Apparently some of the posted remedies have resolved their issue. Not mine.
I've only been using a Mac since September 2011. I have been working on this one issue for 7 straight hours. Please help. Thank you.

Ok, Apple is updating its printing services - but it can't even offer decent support after they rejected my order.
Received the following email from them this evening, after ordering a calendar last night:

After contacting Apple Support, they couldn't help me at all. I have checked the calendar thoroughly. There are no low resolution photographs; there is no clipped text; there are no warning triangles or errors. It would be nice to be able to actually talk to someone who can tell me what's going on! The print service works well when it works, but when you get rejected - for reasons I cannot fathom - then you're obviously on your own.
If they get the service working soon, then I will try one more resubmission (the only thing Apple Support could suggest!). Otherwise, a popular Norwegian photo print outlet will be getting my business - also in the future!

Outlook 2010, iCloud, Calendar, iPhone synch: not working together.

Everything had been working fine: My iPhone calendar events were synching with my Outlook Calendar and visa versa. Then a couple of days ago it seemed to stop. My iPhone wasn't synching with my Outlook. So what do I do? I look on the web to see if there is something about the problem. I read that it could be caused by the need for my iphone to have the latest update. I was using OS 6 and there was OS 6.1 available. I decided to go ahead and update the iphone.
Well, that killed the iphone. The screen when blue and then the apple symbol showed up on the computer and it just hung there. It was like it was trying to load and just not loading. I had no phone for the day. I was 4 hours from the closet Apple store, and after work headed off to the Apple Store.
When I arrived (40 min before they were set to close) they were very nice and took my phone and got it back up and running. The problem was that what ever they did killed all my pics and other info on my iphone (music...). But the Calendar seemed to be working. So I thanked them and trundled off to the hotel.
At the hotel I plugged my iphone into the computer and then it poped up saying that I could restore my phone from itunes! Yea!! So I did it.
Well... that killed the calendar again. So there was a bug or something goinng on between the icloud and iphone and Outlook, I think... I'm not sure but I think that had to be the case. I say I'm not sure because I hadn't checked to see if my Outlook clendar was updating and pushing those updates to my iphone through the icloud calendar. But I think that had stopped.
So again, a second day without a calendar. I had a phone so at least that wasn't too bad.
I made an appoointment at the San Antonio Northstar Mall Apple store location. Let me tell you what... these guys here are very friendly (especially Levi, great guy). And now I'm sitting here (for three hours) trying to get this resolved. Mind you many people would say "Hey that's taking a long time!" but remember folks we aren't paying these people to help us. True I'd be willing to pay but we're not... so relax.
Anyhoo... I finally got the Outlook Calendar to find the Icloud Calendar but it's still not synching up. I signed out and have signed back in and am hopeing that this resolves the loss of the calendar on Outlook.

I agree. I posted about this about a month ago and the only answer I got was that perhaps it was the way which google was choosing to handle the functionality. I think the feature where you can click on an address in your Google Calendar (and it should work on your Iphone Calendar as well), and it comes up in the Iphone Maps application, is completely necessary, as the map in safari is basically worthless. I had previously bragged about this feature, and now it's gone?! BRING IT BACK!

Bid Invitation Display not working in cFolder

Hi ,
I am using the cFolder application with SRM 5.5.
Now when I create a collaboration (while creating a bid invitation) a cfolder link is created.
When I enter in the cFolder application, there is a external reference tab available " Bid Invitatn XXXXXXXXXX Display".
If I click on this tab, it should open the same bid invitation, but currently its not working.
Can anybody suggest what is the expected behaviour of the system if I click on this tab? Any suggession regarding configuratiion which I probably have missed to make this tab working?

Calendar notifications not working

I have many items in my calendar and my notifications/reminders are not working. I used to get a pop-up reminder 15 min. prior, but I am not getting any since yesterday. Not sure what changed!

Deleting calendar invites does not remove the event from calendar

i regularly get calendar invites that i do not want cluttering my calendar. on my PC, i can easily delete or decline them without sending a response, which is the easiest way to deal with them. but if i open the invite mail message on my iphone, the event gets added to my calendar automatically. what's worse, if i delete the email message containing the invite, the event stays on my calendar. if i tap the event, i'm given the choices of accept, maybe, or decline. if i decline, it sends a message to the organizer. this actually leads to more problems, like a senior person wondering why i declined their event, or a junior person sending invites to the entire office and complaining about all the declines. it's even worse if a client sends an invite for a project i'm not involved with.
is there some setting i need to enable to ensure that when i delete an email containing a calendar/outlook invite, the event is deleted (or better yet, never added) to my calendar?

Why has no one helped? This is a reasonable question but all similar strands are left unanswered. Why wouldn't people want to hold on to the information about old appointments?

Stuck in preview/Invitation acceptance not working

I have searched pretty thoroughly, I think, and don't have an answer. Thus, I am reviving the topic to see if there's new info on this.
Both parties using 10.7.5, iChat 6.0.2 and AIM accounts.
The problem, as stated in the title, is accepted invitations are not effective and both parties remain stuck in Preview.
I did search my /Library for iChat preferences (to delete them) and, to my surprise, was unable to find them. Also, both parties have re-set P-RAM.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You are sure you were in ~/Library/Preferences or Macintosh HD/Users/yourAccount/Library/Preferences to give it i's long path ?
It is also unlikely that deleting any of the .plists would help with this issue.
In the Connection Doctor (Video Menu) giving any hints about this ?
If the Video Chat window says Connecting with the spinning cogwheel icon then the issue is more about ports that the app uses.
An AIM Account logs in to the AIM servers on port 5190 or 443 depending on the version and whether you have changed this port in older iChat versions.
That info is held in the com.apple.ichat.plist
When a Video Invite is sent it goes out on port 5678.
The other end receives it on that port.
The Mac Firewall Block incoming stuff rather than outgoing stuff.
If the Buddy is not receiving the Invite then the Firewall and the ports allowed for the computer's IP needs to be check in the router.
At the point the Visible Invite is accepted the app moves to port 16402 and uses the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) to actually check, verify and make the connection.
SIP is also used by VoIP devices (Voice over IP)
Some add-on devices like a Vonage adapter can be placed on your LAN and will strip SIP data thinking it is for a Phone ignoring the Address info.
This is normally because the device is placed in-line between the router and the computer.
It is best if it is given it's Own Ethernet port on the router which resolves the IP addressing issue.
Some routers are also "SIP Aware".
These can have ports for phones and can allow the phone to be used with VoIP.
Thomson-Alcatel are one brand who are of concern in this area.
Technically SIP has internationally agreed ports (5060-5063)
It should use one of these ports and more on one if busy.
ISP and backbone Internet providers are not supposed to interrupt such data passing through their servers.
At one point some ISPs were blocking these ports and then charging extra money to have them opened.
(Many ISPs were telecom companies losing Money to these long distance telephone call alternatives).
This caused Skype and later Apple to move which port that used SIP on.
I have not seen a thread I would attribute this issue to for some time though.
If you Mac Firewall is ON then check it is allowing Signed Software and that Messages and IMAgent is in the list.
Check that if you used Port Forwarding in your router that the computer has the same IP you pointed the ports at.
It is actually better if you use UPnP as this allows Screen Sharing.
Remove any Vonage (Or any other VoIP) device.
Check any new router (or routing modem) is not blocking/filtering SIP.
