Calendar is blank

I deleted some calendars and now my whole calendar screen is blank.

Can you reset the phone and let us know if that solved your issue?

I updated my iPhone 3 to 5.1 and now my calendar is blank, my contacts and photos reverted back to about a year ago!!

Contacts should be synched to your computer (outlook, address book) or a cloud service (iCloud, Google).  If you haven't been using your phone as recommended, your contacts are gone.

Calendar schedule blank. All appts disappeared from 3g iphone calendar synced to yahoo. After Yahoo corrected error message on their website and I re-synced my iphone, calendar reappears but will not allow edit from iphone. I can't find settings within Yahoo or within my iphone to alter editing options.
How can I get access to edit and delete the Yahoo calendar from my iphone? I never schedule anything from the Yahoo webpage. All my appointments and reminders are scheduled from the iphone.

My Yahoo email account worked just fine on my iPhone 4S  for the last 2 months. Then this morning I started receiving the apple.imap.mail,yahoo error.  I tried all of the steps above in solving the yahoo email issue including numerous hard re-sets and deletions of my yahoo account settings without any success. So I gave up trying to use the default Yahoo setup option.  I added my Yahoo account back as an "other" type email account and then had the option to choose to set it up as a "POP" account instead of an IMAP type. I then just used the server settings recommended from Yahoo Help for a Yahoo Plus Email POP (or just google yahoo plus email pop settings). This works and I am back in business.
I'm not sure if this will work for yahoo mail classic accounts.
Frustrating that this issue seems to have been going on for quite awhile and Apple still as not made any acknowledgement of this issue or proposed a fix for those of us that can not resolve the issue with a reset.

My iCloud calendar interacts with all of my iOs devices showing the current date, but on my iPad the rest of the calendar is blank.  Any suggestions?

I can help you for the future.  Regularly back up your computer to an external hard drive (or cloud alternative).  If you have your library backed up, it could be reinstalled on your new computer.  In your current situation, you will have to reload all of your CDs as syncing of non-iTunes purchased music is only one way (Computer to iPod)

  • My published calendar is blank when I click the link from the email.  What am I missing?

I have published my calendar and sent an email with the info, but when I click on the link the calendar is blank.
Any ideas so that my husband can see my calendar at his work computer?

The problem with add-ons is, most work together without causing the user
too much trouble. But once in a while, someone discovers a problem. And its
hard to trace down because, as it turns out, two or more add-ons cause the
problem. That is why one of the first things a user can do is to
'''''[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Start Firefox in Safe Mode]'''''.
If the problem is gone that tells us something. If the problem is still there,
    that tells us something else.<BR><BR>
If you ever have a problem, and you think an add-on is the cause, the best
thing to do is to start disabling the add-ons one by one or five by five until
    the problem is gone.

  • TS3999 my Icloud calendar is blank on my laptop yet works fine on my IPAD and phone. What's the problem?

When I go to ICloud on my PC the calendar is blank. It is fine on my Android phone and my IPAD. How do I sync?

You can't go to icloud.com on an iOS device like your iPad.  You can only view your data on icloud.com from a computer.  This is because you can already view all your iCloud data on your iOS device from within your apps (contacts in the contacts app, calendars in the calendar app, email in the mail app, etc.).

  • Calendar invites blank in email body

Multiple people from multiple companies have sent me calendar invitations, but when the email appears in Thunderbird, the subject line is correct, but the email body is completely blank. I looked at the source and it looks like the senders are using Exchange Server.
If I log into Gmail to view the email, it is displayed properly as a Google Calendar invite that I can accept and add to my calendar.

    Hi Prashanth,
Will this still work if I never no the name of my attachments. The attachments I am emailing come from a PO document the user created. They can attach any document type they want and also any number of documents. So although the word document is the first attachment on this test the next test could have an XLS or PDF document first. The only consistent thing would be the XML payload.
Here is a screen shot of the email I receive when using XIPAYLOAD:
    http://www7.spread-it.com/dl.php?id=67eff454ac897e1533638f6548e5a1ca22722323
Everything is perfect but I would like to either clear out the SOAP message from teh body or move the XML payload into the body. Either way works for me.
    Cheers

  • ICal Calendar List Blank in Lion

I don't recall this being the case when I first installed Lion, but the list of calendars in iCal has gone missing and the overall behavior of the application is problematic. This first came up when I noticed that Holiday events were displayed twice in the calendar. I clicked on calendar to get a list to see if perhaps the Holiday calendar was duplicated. No list appeared. At some point, I clicked on the calendar display itself and the missing pane appeared. It was, however, blank.
Clicking on the list itself produces no result.
    Any ideas?
Have to say I'm deeply disappointed in this release of iCal - between bugs like this, the removal of features (like being able to just display the list of calendars in a section of the display), and the idiotic, unnecessary skeuomorphic user interface the application has become a triumph of form over actual function.

Installation continues to degrade. On startup of the application, all buttons and controls are missing.
Closing and restarting iCal causes the buttons and controls to return, but all calendar entries are missing.
Restarting the computer causes the sequence to start again - controls are missing, restarting the app brings them back but then calendar entries are useless.
    Totally useless.

  • My calendar is blank after changing the iCloud setting.

I have an iPod Touch 4g and I thought by choosing the calendar setting in iCloud it would simply back up my calendar to iCloud.
Instead I now have a calendar that is blank, except for any birthdays that are linked in from my contacts list.
How can I get everything back? When I go to turn off the calendars option, I get a pop up that reads
"What would you like to do with the previously synced iCloud calendars on your iPod touch?
    Keep on My iPod touch
    Delete from My iPod"
I NEED the calendar restored and am hesitant to choose the first option. I also am hesitant to even plug the iPod back into my computer for fear of losing everything.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes the calender data is in the backup.  Before you try to get it back:
    - Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and look at the date of the backup.  iTunes really only keeps one copy and updates it when sync/backup.  Thus from the date you should be able to tell if it would have the calender information you want.
    - Make sure the the iCloud is not checked on the computer
    - Autosyncing on the computer is turned off otherwise after you connct the iPod to the computer ITunes will backup the iPOd and overwrite the previous backup.  Go to  iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says "Prevent iPods...syncing."

Well that's messed up. Ugh. Just when I think I know what I'm doing with this thing I mess it up.
Does the calendar information get backed up to my computer when I plug the iPod in and it does the whole syncing process?

  • I have a new iphone 4 and restored it from a backup of my old 3GS, but the calendar is blank?

I have a new iPhone 4 and duirng setup, I restored a backup of my old 3GS, but the calendar is now blank?
Does an iTunes backup not include the calendar?
The backup was from mid-september and I think iTunes was the latest version at the time..

This will happen if you have photos in your camera roll and an out-of-date scanner or webcam driver. See this: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1502

  • Ios 8 calendar app blank

when I bring down the notification screen, I see Calendar but no info, just a block of blank space.  ???

I have the same exactly issue with the App Store. It seems like it can't connect and there's just a blank screen. However, I can update apps just fine.

  • Icloud calendar events blank

Any idea why my Tuesday through Sunday events are blank this week? When I click on the calendar item, the event shows, but in the calendar view, they show as blank. They are also showing fine on my iPhone. The event is there, it's ust not showing the preview of the event. Oh, I'm also on my stupid Windows 7 work computer.

Hi.  I am noticing the exact same issue.  It occurs whether I am using a mac or a windows pc to view my icloud.com calendar.  The entries are there on my iphone and ipad, and the details are visible when I double-click them.  I can see them in the list and day views.  But they show blank in weekly and monthly views.
    Any ideas?   This just started.
    Thanks.

  • Ipad1 contacts and calendar go blank

Since updating my ipad1 the calendar and contacts simply go blank. The only way to retrieve them is by powering off then on again. Very annoying. I M not necessarily adding or doing anything on tese apps,  the co tents just disappear

Make sure you are entering the contacts and calendar events on your iCloud account.  On your iPad, check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar.  Here make sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default, and not something else like On My iPad, Google Calendar, and exchange account calendar, etc.
Then go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the contacts section) and make sure you have selected iCloud as your default.  (If you don't see this settings, this isn't the problem).
If your settings for your calendar is correct on your iPad and it still won't sync new calendar events to your phone, go to icloud.com from your computer and enter any missing calendar events on your iPad that are not on your calendar on icloud.com.  Once your iCloud calendar is up to date, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Calendars to Off, choose Delete from My iPad when prompted, then after a minute or so turn Calendars back to On to sync your iCloud calendars back to your phone.  Then enter a new event on your iPad and confirm that it syncs to icloud.com now.
If your settings for your contacts are correct on your iPad and it still won't sync new contacts to your phone, do the same thing for Contacts (add any missing contacts to icloud.com, turn iCloud syncing off, choose Delete from My iPhone, after a minute turn contact syncing back on, try adding a new contacts to confirm that it syncs).

  • ICal Calendars list blank, MissingSync, MobileMe issues

I'm using OS X 10.4.11 and iCal 2.0.5. I recently installed Missing Sync 6.0.4 for Palm OS (to sync with a Palm TX), so am finally actually using iCal instead of the Palm calendar. I also just got around to resubscribing to .mac (without realizing that I was doing so smack in the midst of the MobileMe launch). I'm listing all three of these questions together in case there's some connection -- most likely something connected to MissingSync or MobileMe setup.
    1. iCal was working fine for me, synched with the Palm via Missing Sync, etc., but now I can't see the list of calendars. I can see events in the calendar itself, color-coded for different calendars, but nothing shows up in the calendars list (left-hand pane). Any ideas how to get that list back?
And two other questions, in case anyone here has answers:
    2. Sent this query to Mark/Space (MissingSync) a couple days ago, but no reply yet -- when I sync Palm and iCal, events entered on the Palm do not get copied to the laptop. No error messages, and all else goes fine ... Events conduit is set for "Synchronize," "All calendars," and to put read-only events in "Unfiled."
    3. Sent this query twice to Mac's MobileMe help, but have gotten only a completely unhelpful form letter with generic links back ... (Yes, I realize their support people are probably utterly bogged down right now.) I used to have .Mac, but expired 1/07. Now have a .Me account. I can't sync at all, even just to my iDisk (let alone with my other Mac) -- .Mac in System Preferences won't let me set up Sync (when I click that tab, it "thinks" for a while, then get a "problem with the sync operation: .Mac login failed" error message). Specifically re: iCal: is there some workaround? Some painless way to sync iCal events to iDisk without a functioning Sync feature? I'm hoping the sync failure is just a temporary glitch, and not a sign that I need to upgrade to Tiger if I want basic .Mac-level functionality, but main thing is just being able to view/use my iCal calendars from my work computer!
