Calendar is frozen on Add event.

Just updated to icloud and went to add an event to my calendar and it is now frozen. How can I unfreeze without losing my calendar entries?

Hold down the home and sleep keys, past when you see the red power down slider, and unitl you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that clears it. It's the equivalent of a computer's control/alt/delete. You shouldn't lose data although you may lose your most recent entry.

In Calendar I cannot delete an event, every time I try to it just freezes it and says my storage is almost full, what can I do to fix this?

A while back a friend added an event that repeats every day, but it also lasts a year. This has completely thrown off my calendar. I cannot add events or delete them. Unfortunately I have my calendar backed up to iCloud. So, I decided to try and turn the calendar backup off. Does not work, I get a loading symbol for like 10 minutes and then it is still turned on. Add them as a Contact. They don't have to have a phone number. Just create a Contact with their name and relevant information.
Your Contacts app is used for more than just phone numbers. Email addresses, physical addresses, date of birth, etc. Use the 'Add Field' option to see all the possibilities.

If you're not able to add events to Calendar, try these troubleshooting steps first:
If you're using iOS 7, quit and restart the Calendar app:
Press the Home button twice to see preview screens of the apps you have open.
Find the Calendar preview screen and swipe it up and out of preview to quit the application.
Tap the Home button to return to your Home screen.
Wait a minute before reopening the Calendar app.
Restart your iOS device: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears, then drag the slider. After the device turns off, turn it back on by pressing the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Can't add events to icloud calendar

I have problems syncing my iPad, iPhone and MacBook Pro for the calendars. I added and event on each device and I never see all the others. Let say I put the event "test iPad" on the iPad, "test iPhone" from the iPhone et "test mac" on my MacBook Pro. Also I wen't on the iCloud calendar and when I try to add an event it says Impossible to create event "test from mac" because of an error on the server. Please try again. I also send the information to Apple but it's been like that for a while and I never get a solution.
By the way, the sync works fine for notes and contact.

I updated today to the 5.0.1 and now when I try to sync to ITunes, it doesn't recognize my phone and an error message comes up saying that "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started.' hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

How to use the calendar to add events and reminders?

Since updating to the most current software, I am unable to add events or reminders to my iphone calendar. Does anyone know how to use it now? I really miss my calendar!

randers4, you saved my life!! At least my social calendar life, including all my appointments and important dates. After the last update, my + sign went away, but turning it on in the iCloud settings did the trick. Thanks for your help!!

Why does Calendar take up so much space and why can't I add events or sync?

Since I updated to ios7, my calendar hasn't worked at all. It used to sync with my Google calendar. Now I can't see any events in my calendar. The + sign to add an event is always greyed out so I can't add events. And something I've just noticed is that Calendar takes up 473 MB of space on my phone, making it one of the biggest users of space. (This might be related. If I search for an event in my calendar, it shows a long long long list of events that all say "New Event" that are scheduled to last all day. I can't delete these. It says they are assigned to "Untitled Calendar."
I've tried all sorts of combinations of turning on and off syncing calendars with Google and with iCloud. I can't detect any change. (My Mavericks calendar works just fine and syncs with Google.)

See how much storage you've used on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
If your device is near its capacity or you get an alert that your storage is full, you can remove some of your less used content to make room for more.
View storage usage on your iOS device
Tap Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage to see the amount of space each app and its content takes on your device.
Tap an app for more detailed information about its usage.
Depending on the app, you might be able to delete some of the app's content, or delete the app and all of its content.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar

Bug on calendar Add Event

Hi.
Days ago I upgraded to iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) and some times have trouble to add a new event on my calendar.
Press button "+", then type title and time of the event, when I hit "Done" just nothing happens. Event if I hit "Cancel" nothing happens and the App remains on the screen Add Event.
This has happend twice.

I don't have anything on that date, but just out of curiosity, is there anything scheduled for March 15th (or 14th) 2010? I ask because you have an event on March 9, 2009, which is the day after daylight savings time goes into effect.
Either way, you might want to submit feedback to Apple.
