Calendar Items Not Syncing

Been syncing to a Palm TX PDA for months with no difficulty via a wireless connection simply to Linux server with the Mobility software. Recently, appts are not downloading to PDA. Only change is the machine through which the Intellisync software was loaded to the PDA has been upgraded to Win7 and the Intellisync software had to be uninstalled. Logs at server indicate connection and apparent syncing of appts, but nothing appearing in pda. Any thoughts?

Solved. Method: wipe pda, reinstall. Works fine now.

  • Curve 8310 and 8300 Calendar item not sync up to Exchange-Outllook

Have 466 Blackberrys and a couple of them two executives one 8310 and one 8300 when calendar items are put on the device they will not sync up to Outlook.  We have BES 4.1.4.16 and the two Curves are unnint 4.4.4 software.  Mail works fine, Contacts work fine.  Calendar put in Outlook come down to device fine.  Its just calendar items put on the device or meetings accepted on device do not go UP .   We wiped and removed from BES and it worked for a day one the 8310 and then quit.  On the 8300 the wipe and reload and reactivate did not fix it.
    Any Ideas ?
Wish there was a calendar patch or something for Curve to help with the changes going up to BES/Exchange !

Exact same issue ... cropped up in the past 2 weeks. Constantly syncing and re syncing. Watching calendar events show up and disappear. Tried all the normal stuff including deleting and re setting up the entire acct ... no luck. It built out the whole calendar correctly ( from what I could tell) and then started to sync again and appointments randomly appeared and disappeared .....

  • IPhone calendar items not syncing with Mac calendar

A few weeks ago I noticed that items added to my iPhone calendar stopped syncing with my Mac calendar.  Items added or deleted from my Mac calendar, however, do sync properly to my iPhone.
iPhone 4S iOS 7.0.6.  Mac OS 10.8.5 (whatever beast that is).  I sync via iTunes and USB cable.  I do not use iCloud and am not interested in doing so.
I looked through other discussion threads, and  they did not seem to address my problem.  Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

The answer given by randers4 here solved my problem (turn out I have Mountain Lion):

  • Outlook Calendar items not sync with local time af...

Im from India, which doesnt follow the DST change.
I use PC Suite ver 7.1.30.9 with my Nokia Express Music 5310.
My Laptop is Windows XP and Im using Outlook 2003.
Since the DST changeover last weekend, my outlook is showing the meetings in proper local timezone as these are stored in GMT with daylight savings.
I had my handphone synched and working fine UNTIL Nov 2nd!
Now my handphone shows the items one hour early!! I have deleted these notes and re-added them but to no avail.
    Am I missing something here.

Sure, here's how I recommend doing it:
Make sure Outlook is not running (even check through Task Manager, since Connector usually makes it stick there).
Go to "Control Panel" (usually through the Start Menu)
If neccesary, switch to "Classic View" ("View by: Large Icons/Small Icons" in Windows 7 and I think Vista too)
Find the icon called "Mail" and double click it
Click the button called "Email Accounts"
Select any non-hotmail/non-windowslive account and click on "Set as Default"
Select any Hotmail account and click on "Remove"
Click on the tab "Data Files" and do the same (select any data file that isn't hotmail, set as default, remove hotmail data files)
Click "Ok" on all windows until you get back to Control Panel.
The reason we've done all this is so that one Connector is removed, outlook will no longer look for a Hotmail account - which will result in an error. Although it should happen automatically, it should also play nice with DST so we can't really trust it, now can we?
    Next:
In Control Panel, look for "Programs and Features" (or "Add/Remove Programs" in XP)
Look for "Microsoft Office Outlook Connector" and remove it by double-clicking and confirming all dialogues.
    Restart just for good practice
Make note that after you do this, any appointments you may have had in Outlook through Windows Live Calendar will no longer appear. I recommend copying them to your local Outlook PST first, or just manually re-creating them. Currently there's no way to do this automatically, so you need to either send them all to yourself through Email, or just manually select each appointment (sadly you can't even CTRL+A), right click, go to your PST Calendar, rigfht click anywhere and rightclick+paste.
    Hope this helps even marginally.

  • Calendar Items Not Fully Syncing

    Platform Version - 3.1.0.72
    Application Version - 4.3.0.127
Calendar items (all day events, meetings and appointments) shown on future dates in Blackberry calendar will not sync to Outlook OR to ASCII file.  They are definitely visible in the Blackberry.  However, after a sync (to Outlook or to an ASCII file) they are not visible in either Outlook or the ASCII file.  Any thoughts?
The calendar sync had been working well.  Then, all of a sudden, my calendar in Outlook dropped future events, meetings and appointments (collectively "events").  The future "events" are still visible in the Blackberry.  But they will not sync in to Outlook OR to an ASCII file.  I have tried (multiple times) to sycn "two way" and "from device to Outlook/file" with all of the various settings.  No conflicts occur.  Neither work.  Another interesting point -- I can set new "events" in Outlook or the Blackberry and they sync fine.  I can also delete the "events" in either Outlook or the Blackberry and they are synced fine.  Only some of the older "events" in the Blackberry (which have been there for a week +/-) will not sycn to Outlook or the ASCII file.
    Your input is appreciated.  I hate to re-enter 250+ "events". . .

when you create an email on your device, and it because the defaulot service it is supposed to absorbe the device default... looks like it didnt.
you will need to do an advanced backup without anything calendar(rename so you know which it is)
then you need to do another backup with JUST *calendar - all* (rename so you know which it is)
then you need to perform a security wipe (options- security options- general- menu button- wipe handheld... avoid 3rd party)
    then connect to the network
log into your BIS account and send your servicebooks
once you have your email attached, make sure it is the deffualt for CICAL
then restore JUST the calendar all file and test
if all goes well, then you can restore everything else

  • Calendar does not sync via ActiveSync. Mail and Contacts work fine.

I recently started using ActiveSync to connect to my corporate Exchange server. Mail and contacts synchronize properly, but calendar items are not downloaded from the server. The iPhone can write to the calendar by adding a new appointment of accepting a new meeting request. I can also see the full list of calendars in my Exchange mailbox when using the iPhone. Simply put, the calendar items are the only part that's missing.
My IT team has confirmed that calendar items will sync to Windows Mobile devices using ActiveSync.
Here are the steps I've taken to solve the problem:
    1. I enabled and disabled calendar using the On/Off slider.
    2. I removed and reconfigured the Exchange account on the iPhone
    3. I confirmed that all calendar items in Exchange had the Message Class set to "IPM.Appointment"
    4. I restored the iPhone to factory settings and used a new test Exchange account to confirm that corrupted calendar items were not an issue.
    5. Confirmed that the capitalization of my e-mail address in the Exchange Account Info on the iPhone matches the primary SMTP entry in the Exchange GAL.

Guys, I did a bit of research with my other iPhone/Exchange - buddies and this is what we found out:
    1. Friend sends me an calendar event from his PC / Exchange Account
    2. Calendar event displays as tentative on both my iPhone and on my PC / Exchange Account
    3. I accept the calendar event on my PC / Exchange Account
    4. Calendar event turns to "busy" on my PC / Exchange Account
    5. Calendar event disappears from my iPhone
    6. I double-click the event on my PC / Exchange Account and click "Accept" again
    7. Calendar event reappears on my iPhone
Funny enough, this does not happen with all events - it seems to depend on the Exchange server and/or Outlook version in use. For those affected: Is your Exchange Server 2003 or 2007, and what version is the Exchange Server of the person who sent you the event in the first place?

  • TS3988 calendar does not sync

New items added to calendar on Mac do not automatically go to iPhone and vice versa.  Suggestions?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • My calendar is not syncing with my mac

I am using the correct OS's on my macbook and iphone.  My contacts and other items are syncing, but my calendar is not syncing from my iphone to my mac.  Any tips?  I'm new to having a macbook - so please use step by step instructions if possible.  Thanks!!

I am using the correct OS's on my macbook and iphone
Mac OS X v10.7.2 Lion? Go to System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Calendars then reselect then restart your Mac.
On your iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Toggle Calendars off then back on then reset your iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • My exchange calendar will not sync.

I installed, succesfully, my exchange email and contacts, but for whatever reason, my calendar will not sync. The error that pops up says that my email address is not valid. Any ideas?

I somehow managed to fix this myself.  I am new to Mac.  What I did was go to Settings and deleted the Exchange account then I re-added it, quit all the windows, re-started the Mac and it all worked fine.

  • Razr Maxx Calendar will not sync with Exchange Calendar

My Thunderbolt synced fine....just switched to the Razr Maxx Friday and the Calendar will not sync with my Exchange Calendar. Email and contacts are syncing fine.

    Gapam wrote:
I guess I'm screwed.  My Razr HD calendar won't sync with Google - apparently all my events were on the phone calendar and not Googe calendar.  After following prior posts, I cleared the data on my phone's calendar - now my events are gone and I don't know when my next appointments are.  Any way to retrieve that data?  Any way to sync the two calendars - or to make sure the darn appointments are placed on the Google calendar and not the stupid phone calendar?
You have to select the Google/Gmail account as the location where to save the event. In the screen where you are adding the info to create the event there is a spot for choosing which calendar to save it to. This is where you pick the Gmail calendar.

  • How can I transfer my contacts, calendar items, notes etc. from one apple-id to another?

I moved from DK to the US and now I have created a US-apple-ID. How do I transfer all my contacts, calendar items, notes etc. from my DK-apple-ID to my new US-apple-ID?

    Hey kristina rivera!
You will first want to export your contacts from iCloud using the following article:
iCloud: Export contact information as a vCard
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606
You will then want to log in to her iCloud account, then import the vCard file that had been exported from your iCloud account:

Take care, and thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.

  • Since Mavericks update my iPhone and iPad calendars are NOT syncing with the calendar on my MacBook Pro

Since Mavericks update my iPhone and iPad calendars
are NOT syncing with the calendar on my MacBook Pro.
I used to use iTunes but don't see the options now.
Does anyone know how to set up a sync.?

I have temporarily solved the sync problem by using an older MBAir running snow leopard, I exported
both calendar and contacts and imported them in the MBA and synced normally.
Since I'm not about to send my data on the cloud, or setup a server to just sync my iphone,
I think this is a good workaround ! BTW I stopped updating my contacts and calendar on the MB, I only
update the iphone until a permanent solution is found !
And they better come up with one soon, because I'll just switch to an Android phone and Ubuntu linux for my MBP, Apple should make our lives easier, not harder !
I'm sure Samsung is having a ball ever since the sync issue was made public !
Hopefully Apple is listening and will make things right again !

  • IPhone sync to exchange server calendar does not sync any longer, mail is no problem.

Hi we are running Exchange 2003 and we suddenly discovered some users now cant get their calendar to sync. If we add anything in outlook it wont show up in the iphone and it is the same the other way around.
We done total reset on the phone, switched the phone to a htc mini and tried that same problem there the calendar does not sync. this is only happening for about 5 users out of 150 users. I have tried reset the profile in outlook.
I dont know where to start looking to solve this issue.  Hope anyone can shed some light here

    Hi,
Please try to collect IIS log and then use "activesync" as keyword to have a search.
Also we can use logparser to analyze the log.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/scriptcenter/dd919274
Besides, please try to test if the issue would occur when we use those problematic iphone to sync with working user's mailbox.

  • Calendar does not sync consistently

Ever since I added the iPad2 I have noticed that my calendars do not sync consistently. One week they match and the next week they do not. I will add events on my iPhone and they show up on my MBP and iPad2 as they are supposed to and the next time I check the events disappear. Any insight?

Go to Sytem Preferences>iCloud on your Mac and make sure Calendars is checked.  Also, make sure you are adding the calendar events on your Mac to your iCloud calendar, and not a non-iCloud calendar such as On My Mac.  (Only your iCloud calendar syncs with iCloud.)  Go to the calendar preferences on your Mac, and on the General tab be sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default.
