Calendar Jumps To Daily View

Hello to everybody,
Last week i have noticed something strange on my N97 v.2.
When i open the calendar from the main screen, it jumps to the daily view. In the settings i have marked the monthly view as the default view. Also, when i open the calendar from the menu, not from the home screen widget, it showing correctly the monthly view. 
Any ideas ??

I'm not sure why it does this, but the same thing happens with mine as well. I'm guessing it's because when you view the events happening on that particular day from the widget, it thinks that you want to view those same things when opening the calendar application.

  • Daily View Calendar items hidden

    We are using Groupwise 2012 Webaccess and recently discovered that in the calendar Daily View that appointments created before 8 AM or after 5 PM do not show in the daily view of the calendar, but they show fine in the weekly and monthly view. The time before 8 AM and after 5 PM is shaded darker so there appears to be a time setting somewhere that defines the workday. However, there doesn't appear to be any settings within users web access options to change this view to display all before work and after work appointments. This is true for appointments created using client software as well as within webaccess. Does anyone know of a fix or setting that needs to be changed to display all appointments in the Daily View?

  • How to activate Events Calendar Sample Application's Weekly and Daily View?

    Does anyone know how to activate the Weekly and Daily View for the sample calendar application called "Events?" I am trying to generate, or incorporate, a calendar application based upon the sample application provided by Oracle. I have installed the sample application but I am unable to view the calendar in daily or weekly formats. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in-advance.

    If the calendar was set up to only use the Monthly view, then you will be missing a number of items on your page.
    The simplest thing to do would be to create a new calendar page in your copy of your sample app and then identify those items that are missing from your original page. These should be Monthly/Weekly/Daily buttons, Adjust Calendar Date - Monthly/Weekly/Daily processes and a hidden Pnn_CALENDAR_TYPE page item that holds the currently displayed type.

  • E72 - calendar, default viewing time in Daily View

    Hi
    on my E63 when I go to a different day to today it defaults to opening the calendar at 8:00am, however on my E72 it defaults to starting display at midnight. I find this a little annoying as I seldom have anything to see there.
    I have looked for a setting to configure this, but actually can't find it on either phone.
    Anyone know if its just 'hard coded' or configurable? If configurable how please?

    Before you panic, try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
    Try again to see if the problem persists.

  • OWA Calendar not showing month view in non-IE browsers

    I've got a user who can't see the Month view on his OWA calendar. He's the only user complaining - Month view loads fine on my Exchange account across all browsers and operating systems.
    I can see the Month view on his account when I log in with IE, but not with any other browser, Windows and Mac.
    Any ideas? I'm at a total loss here, I've been in and deleted recurring appointments, but nothing else looks out of the ordinary. Everything else works, it just won't load the month view in non-IE browsers and he's the only one affected.

    The Microsoft OWA web interface has two versions: OWA Premium and OWA Light. OWA Premium which can achieve calendar month view is only accessible when using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser. 
    If you’re using any other browser, we can use OWA Light. In light version, the OWA feature is not rich like OWA Premium. As for Calendar view, there is only daily view in OWA light.
    About Calendar view in third-party browser, please contact the third-party browser support for more helps.

  • How do I display more than one month calendar in the day-view?

    iCal has always had a nice feature that allowed me to display little, what I call, mini-month calendars while in the day-view.  This allowed me to quickly jump to a day two or three (or more) months ahead (or behind) to check appointments on that day or set an appointment, without switching out of the day-view.
    The mini-month was a small clickable calendar that looked something like this:

    8   9  10 11 12 13 14
    15 16 17 18 19 20 21
    22 23 24 25 26 27 28
    There was also a forward and backward arrow box [ < ][ > ] that allowed me to quickly scroll to the mini-month to find the day I wanted to click into.  And, if I wanted to give it more room by adjusting the frame, I could display up to three months at a time within my day view.
    Since upgrading iCal to 5.0 with the Lion upgrade, I can no longer display more than the current mini-month calendar on the day view.
    This is REALLY inconvenient.  Now, there is no way (that I know of) for me to stay in the day view and be able to jump ahead to a specific day two or three months out, or even to a day in the NEXT month without either going to the year view (a big waste of time) or click on the last day of the current month and then clicking the ">" day arrow to get to the next day which then shows that month's mini-calendar.
    How do I display more than the current month's mini-month calendar in the day view on Lion?

    Unfortunately you can't do what you want. Many people have complained to Apple about this. I suggest you provide Apple feedback directly at http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html. They will not provide a direct response but hopefully if enough people provide feedback Apple will fix this.

  • IPhone calendar jumps to March when opened

    When I open calendar on my iphone5 in iOS 7, the calendar jumps to march of this year when I view the week. I have to push "today" to bring it back to the present.

    Have you tried closing the app, then relaunching?
    How about restarting the device?
    Resetting the device?
    Resetting All Settings?
    Restore from a backup?
    Restore as new?
    Try those, in order, and see if the problem persists.

  • Why is "Calendar" stuck in "Month View"?

    For some reason, Calendar on my iPhone refuses to get back into daily view (which is what I used in the past). Instead, it is stuck in month view or, if I turn it sideways, shows 3 days at a time. I can go even further out to year view (arrow top left) and back to month view by tapping anywhere inside the calendar. But tapping on a date within the month view just highlights that date. I can add a LIST at the bottom of the display by tapping the 3rd icon from the right, but I don't get an overview of my day (with a timeline indicating present time) as I used to. Is this a new feature? (In which case, a curse be upon you, Apple) Or a bug? (how to fix?) Or am I just too stupid (a distinct possibility…)? I've tried tapping every icon on the screen, swiping in all 4 directions, and even looking under "Settings" - but I can't find a way out. Help anyone?

    That's exactly what I tried - tapping on a day, but the view didn't change (except the list at the bottom showed the newly selected day).
    However, I finally figured it out: tapping the day in "month view" ONLY works if there is NO list displayed at the bottom. So once I toggled the list view off (by tapping the 3rd icon from the right, at top), I could change into the customary day view by tapping on the day. Strange! Maybe that should be explicitly stated in the page you quoted

    In the BADI "PT_ABS_REQ" interface "IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ" you can find the method
    "SET_CALENDAR_COLOR" in that you can set the colure for the Absent type ......
    Adjust Colors of Calendar and Team Calendar
    Functionality
    You can use this method to change the colors in the team calendar.
    In the standard system, the different statuses for requests have different colors. You can use this method to differentiate the colors of requests depending on the following aspects:
    Status of requests (status)
    Action that an employee has executed: new request, delete, change (UIA operation)
    Subtype of absence (SUBTY)
    Full-day or partial-day absence (BEGMT, where BEGMT = 0 signifies a full-day absence)
    Application mode ( mode). You specify the application mode in the Select Employees for the Team Calendar IMG activity.
    Color Display of Status of Leave Requests(COLORS_ACTIVE). You specify this status in the Specify How Leave Is Displayed and Default Values IMG activity.
    Available Colors
    You have a choice of 16 colors. The 16 colors are hard coded, that is, you cannot change them or add other ones.
    The available colors are stored with their RGB value as constants of the CL_PT_REQ_CONST class. Use these constants if you want to change the colors.
    Notes
    If you change the colors in the team calendar, you should also adapt the legend accordingly. You can use the Adjust Legend for Calendar and Team Calendar method to do so.

  • Sorting tasks in daily view

    Does anyone know if there is a way to sort tasks while working in the daily view of the calendar? I know the tasks can be opened in their own window and sorted by the various columns. However, I can't seem to sort the tasks in daily view and can't seem to understand how they are sorted by default.

  • Daily view displays recurring one day events for 2 days.

    There are a number of recurring all day events (birthdays for example). From a browser accessing a group Wiki calendar, the daily view will display the event on BOTH the day it's scheduled for and on the next day as well.
    The views for week and month are correct as are all views (even daily) from within iCal.
    This happens from both Firefox and Safari.
    Any idea how to address?

    I just deleted the entire Google-account from the Pre calendar and re-added it. It seems that all events show up correctly now

    the current day was light blue in ical in 10.6 but with plenty of contrast, but I recently made the bigger leap all the way to calendar in 10.9. the choice of color is terrible for reasons such as Spile1962 puts below, but also not having any way to tweak it is terrible. I'm on a bran d new imac and can barely see a difference and frankly, while I appreciate the subtlety, I still forget to look for the darker bar across the top of the current week and day. we should be able to adjust weekend and current day bg colors.
    I went into the app's package contents in hopes that they were using a tiff/png file that I could tweak on my own but couldn't find anything for them. all the icons are there, as are the bg sets for all the little pop-ups and things, but I couldn't even find a reference to a hex color in the plist file.
    send apple feedback. I just did myself, except that Calendar hasn't made the list (yet?), only iCal up to version 4.x, and Messages is still only iChat for feedback, and some others are old as well. apparently after steve died, apple's attention to these details just died with him. it's been that long since those other apps should have been relevant on their site.

    We just applied the new Pack EHP4 and update our ESS portal accordingly. But in timesheet are getting an error we haven't encountered before. When going to timesheet (record time app) and clicking on the daily view you either get a new screen if you do it correctly or an error message saying Select a Filled row to change to the detail view.
    In the upgraded system that last error message does not come up. Instead it crashes and give this error:
