Calendar modify by an attendant problem

Hi ,
I've got a problem with ceo calendar update via active sync.
Everything works fine if a new appointment is inserted on the ceo's calendar by his secretary.
 (she has editor pemission on the calendar). If Ceo's secretary changes an existing appointament modification aren't replicated on ceo Iphone.
I checked IIS log without notice someting strange.
Also check didn't show any issue.
What are the further troubleshooting that I can take to investigate the issue

Hello, we have similar problem which we discuss in thread Calendar not syncing on iPhones
with iOS 8.x.x. We manage to open case to Microsoft, but we not find issues at Exchange side. So we discuss option to open case at Apple.
Reset sync (remove and add sync profile) on device solve problem only temporary.
Hello, we currently encounter some problems with Exchange Active Sync (EAS) with iOS devices.
We manage to find some cases, when meetings are not updated properly in EAS connected devices after complaints from user side. This devices are heavily used by higher management, so we
take this as our priority to solve as IT department.
Broken scenarios which we manage to identify are based on situations when mailbox “Manager” has set delegated access rights to his calendar “Assistant” with Outlook:
Manager create long recurring meeting in his calendar. Assistant open and change one occurrence date or time. This occurrence is not synced to device and stay in original date and time. – FAIL
 Assistant create long recurring meeting in Manager calendar. Manager open and change one occurrence date
or time. This occurrence is synced to device properly. – OK
Manager create long recurring meeting in his calendar. Assistant open and change one occurrence date or time. Manager open and change same one occurrence date or time. This occurrence is not synced to device and
stay in original date and time with first change from Assistant. – FAIL
Assistant create long recurring meeting in Manager calendar. Manager open and change one occurrence date or time. Assistant open and change same one occurrence date or time. This occurrence is synced to device properly
and stay in original date and time with first change from Manager – FAIL
We also find out that the last two scenarios show in Outlook calendar incorrectly from which this update came. Assistant see that change was made by him. Manager see that change was made
by him. But time is same in both.
In OWA are meetings displayed properly. Also if we reset account on device, it syncs properly last change. Side problems is, if this meeting is broken this way, is broken also reply’s for
another’s persons which are invited to meeting.
Our environment:
Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 with Update Rollup 7
Office 2010 Professional Plus Service Pack 2 with all updates from Microsoft Update
iOS devices with current latest update 8.1.1
We tested turn off Outlook Cached Mode and make test with EAS sync logs, but we don’t find anything strange based on
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2563324. It seems as error at 7.1.
We also find article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3015401 but it states different problems. We run Exchange Calendar Repair Assistant, and mailbox repair and move to another database, but without success.
We tested also Windows Phone and Google Android devices with this scenario, but there was no problem and meetings was updated correctly. It seems to be only problem with iOS devices.
Now we want to test, if we encounter this behavior also with Office 365 Exchange Online. If there will be no problem, we will try to push fast to migrate there.
In environment wad one only minor changes by regularly patching Outlook clients and Exchange server. We encounter this problem mostly after upgrading iOS to version 7 or higher with one
person only. After upgrading to iOS problem start go even bigger and all manager encounter him.
After finishing tests with Office 365 we have this matrix of situations and resolution on device end:
Exchange (On-Premise 2010)
Test 1:
Manager > Change Assistant = Problem with iOS
Assistant > Change Manager = OK
Test 2:
Manager > Change Assistant > Change Manager = Problem with iOS
Assistant > Change Manager > Change Assistant = Problem with iOS
Test 3:
Manager > Change Manager mobile > OK
Assistant > Change Manager mobile > Problem with iOS
Office 365 (Cloud 2013)
Test 1:
Manager > Change Assistant = OK
Assistant > Change Manager = OK, only attendants with Windows Phone see right time of changes meeting only with acceptance first invite.
Test 2:
Manager > Change Assistant > Change Manager = Problem with iOS, only attendants with Windows Phone see right time of changes meeting only with acceptance first invite. If they don’t
accept, changes are not synced properly.

    What I finally did was to log into my icloud account online.  I saw that all my contacts were properly synced from my MacBook Pro - so I unchecked "contacts" under iCloud preferences on my phone.  Then I rechecked it and asked it to sync again.  All the contacts from my MacBook Pro are now on my phone.  Thanks for your help!

  • I just order 8 calendars from iPhoto and they came to me fine. Now I need to order two more but when I go thru the process I get a message  saying:unable to assemble calendar. There is a probleme with the photo with the file name"(Null)"   more........ .

    Would someone be able to explain to me the following issue with Iphoto?
    I ordered 8 same calendars for my soccer team and received them fine. Although a couple of pictures on it are a little off (out of focus). I need to order two more of the same calendars but when I go thru the process ireceive an error message saying:
    "Unable to to assemble  calendar" There is a problem with the photo with the file name "(Null)" The full resolution version of this photo either cannot be located or is corrupt. Please replace this photo or delete it from your calendar.
    How can  I fine this "corrupt" photo? How did it go thru with the first batch of calendars but won't go thru now?

    Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
    Since only one option can be run at a time start
    with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
    3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
    4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    5 - Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • Changing color without modifying existing items.. problem!

    Hello,
    I'm reletively new to flash, and am trying to modify a template and am running into a problem and I don't seem to know why Flash is acting so strange.
    I am going into a movie clip to edit the color of an item, and when I do so with a tint, it overrides any additional effects such as light, and text. The color appears almost as if it were just slapped on top of everything.
    When I edit the color in advanced mode, it is really a hit-or-miss to get the correct color, and will only modify when changing the offset RGB.
    And also when doing this, the text gradually changes color, for example: there are 4 items in total that I want to edit the color of. Each item is a different colored box with text on the front (for a main Navigation of the website). --- The first item, the text will stay white. Gradually through the second and third items it starts to change, and by the fourth / last item, the text is completely blue.
    Is it possible for a portion of text to be connected somehow to an object within the animation in a movieclip? If so, is it possible to go inside and edit this? -the shape, animation, and text?
    Is there an easier way to change the color of an item inside a movie clip? I can supply additional information if needed.. files etc.
    Am I doing something wrong / completely missing something?

    go one level deeper than the movieclip so you're editing the shape.

  • 9790 Multiple Google calendars on one gmail account - problem

    Hi all,
    I have a just got myself a 9790 and I'm loving it! Everything is so smooth there is just one niggle...Calendars....
    I have 2 Gmail account set up on the phone both of which have calendars, and those calendars come up fine, there's no problem there.
    The issue comes with one of my email accounts, where I have two calendars on the account, a work calendar and a personal calendar, it's the work one which syncs fine but I cannot get the personal one to sync.
    Any help?

  • I just replaced my ipad2 or ipad3 with iPad Air due to calendar shuts down unexpectedly. Problem now exists on new iPad Air. Multiple visits to Genius Bar resulted in no answers. Told value of time not worth moreGenius Bar visits-still crashes-go figure

    Conflicting opinions from Genius Bar:
    -apple calendar software is defective
    -apple operating system problem
    -software conflict with something purchased from App Store via iTunes
    -some conflict between Exchange Server and apple calendar app (this problem is not occurring on mine or any of mr work colleagues iPhone. This problem is not occurring on any of my colleagues' iPads
    Is there any Apple support out there that can help with my several day old new iPad?  Or maybe some smart user has figured this out?

    tool: Sun Java Studio Creator 2
    framework: Java Server Faces
    i put several components, on the page, and several buttons.
    i insert code in the button action of every button on the page, i test the applicaction, everyting works. i put a calendar on the page, i test the application withouht even clicking on the calendar, everything work. the moment i click on the calendar to pick a date, it works, but from that moment none of the button action code is even called, because i tested the application in debug mode with code breakpoints and none the breaks stoped. can anyone related to this situation regarding the calendar, and if you do, how did youto solve it. Thank you in advance.

    If I've understood You rightly, button actions are not called after You pick a date.
    Put "Message Group" component from Basic section to the page with "Calendar" component and look what system message will appear.
    Probably the reason is that You select date before current and by defauly minDate for Calendar component is current. So probably You just should set minDate.

    Widgets are not for Safari 1.3 OSX Panther. They come with Safari 2.0 OSX Tiger.
    Ad the bottom of you post I can read Mac with Safari 1.3 this not enough information to help you in the future. I understand when you say "Safari 1.3" that you are using OSX 10.3.9
    To help you better an give you the right advice, please list your computer specs here In Discussions sidebar - - - -> Go to Preferences > My computer and tell us your model, iMac, eMac, PwrMac, etc. G3, G4, G5, 000 MB RAM, 000 MHz, System 9.x, 10.2.x 10.3.x. 10.4. All on your blue Apple pull down menu > "About this Mac" (Also, 000 GB HD, if you know it.) This helps us help you better.

  • HT6114 had another hd installed hitatachi modle HDS721050DLE630 so my hardware has been modified, will I have problems if I try to upgrade Mavericks?

    Can someone please give me a clue if this Mavericks is worthwhile and will I have problems since I have modified my computer due to original hd crashing.
    I do not want to try and download this if it is going to jam up my system.
    Please help i am perplexed and not sure what to do.

  • Sun Java System Calendar Server 6 "cshttpd" crash problem

    I have a Calendar account that crashes the "cshttpd" process every time they
    login to add invites to their Calendar. I've done a ."/csdb -v -f -g rebuild" and that didn't fix the problem, and it doesn't show that there are any database errors. I can
    log into other Calendar accounts with no problem. You can log into this account
    but once the users tries to add the invites it crashes the "cshttpd" process.
    I've patch the Calendar Server 6 with the latest patches so everything is up to date with the latest version.
    Any Solutions?

    When rebuilding the database, can I make sure that you are coping over the rebuilt db back into the production csdb directory?
    Also, is it just the one user that causing the crash, do other users work and use the calendar server fine?
    Have you tried performing the dump and reload procedure mentioned in the admin guide:

    My iphone 6 faced some problems after updated to the latest iOS version that is iOS8.1.2 , My contact notes only appear partially n need to click edit for further informations. My calendar now appeared with the GMT time , it is so annoying.     It's clearly not impossible, just different than you expect. Create your playlist as you want it to appear in the Current tab (meaning don't dump every single song from your library in there, just the ones you want) and then save the playlist.

    Look at save_absolute_paths_in_playlists in your mpd.conf.

  • Calendar and MobileMe Synch Time Problem

    I am having a problem with Calendar when it synchs with MobileMe all times are 1 houur forward. For exmaple, the event time in MobileMe is 9am but when it synchs with Calendar the time is 10am.
    The setting are:
    MobileMe: UTC +00 London
    iPhone: Time Zone Support is On and London Time Zone
    Does anyone have any advice?

    I believe that this issue is due to the Daylight Saving Time change.
    MobileMe: UTC +00 London
    This option is correct but can't deal with that Daylight Saving Time change.
    iPhone: Time Zone Support is On and London Time Zone
    The iPhone User Guide states, +"When Time Zone Support is on, Calendar displays event dates and times in the time zone of the city you selected. When Time Zone Support is off, Calendar displays events in the time zone of your current location as determined by the network time."+
    Does anyone have any advice?
    First, set the option in 'General > Date & Time' to 'Set Automatically'. Then set the option in 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' to 'Time Zone Support On' and 'London Time Zone'.
    If that doesn't work then use 'Brute-Force' and change MobileMe to UTC +1:00.

    After generated cache group , Lots of archive logs generated.  So, I modified the log table "TT_06_147954_L" with "nologging".
    Does any problem occur?

    If you ever need to recover the Oracle database, or this table, in any way then you are hosed and things will break. Also, I'm pretty sure this is not supported. Why is the logging a problem?

  • Birthday Calendar and Other Subscriptions Sync Problems

    Is there a way for the Birthday calendar (when turned on in the prefs) to be synced to iCal on my iPod Touch?
    I've also noticed that my Holiday calendar subscription doesn't sync. Is it that the iPod Touch doesn't sync subscription calendar?
    Perhaps this belongs in the iPod Touch discussions.

    1) publish the birthdays calendar from iCal, then
    2) send a publish email to your own email address (one the iPhone checks)
    3) click the link in the email on the phone. It should open iCal on the phone and download the calendar.
    You can confirm by going to the calendars main screen. It should have two subcategories now, “Mac.com (MobileMe)” and “Subscribed”.
