Calendar not available on web

Hi,
We've done a fresh install of 10.6 Server on our Xserve and are currently setting up users on the machine. One thing I've run into with some of our test users is that although they can connect to their calendar through iCal, when they go to the web site, log into their personal page and click Calendar, they get the following error:
Calendar server returned an error: File not found.
Clearly the calendar does exist as the users can access them though the client, so why can they not be found on the web?
A few extra words: Our user directories and ServiceData folders are NOT in the default locations, but I have changed the paths in all of the appropriate places I can think of. Could this be part of the problem?
Am I misunderstanding how this calendar functionality should be working? I know it worked like this in 10.5, but have things changed and now the web and iCal calendars are different?
I've run into the same blip a lot of other people have with the inability to set a calendaring server for a user or groups through Workgroup Manager, but, from what I gather, this is now expected behavior. Is this correct? How would you even be able to dictate where particular services are hosted then?

In fact, I could add one waypoint to it.. BTW even if you select any of the other 2 places as End points (without adding any waypoints inbetween) it shows error..

    The problem occurs with all the users, But when the admin user logs in the invitations show up fine.
    Please let me know if there is some configuration missing. The debug level in uwc is at the max level. is there any other way to debug this problem?

    We are on BO XI R3. We have been using Calibri Font for all our reports built on DeskI. The same font is not available in WebI. Will it be possible for me to add this font in WebI and if yes, please let me know the procedure to do so.

    Control Panel -> Fonts ->
    Now verify if Calibri related fonts are available. If not, you can install the below  font files from internet.
    CALIBRI.TTF    for Calibri (TrueType)
    CALIBRIB.TTF    for Calibri Bold(TrueType)
    CALIBRIZ.TTF    for Calibri Bold Italic(TrueType)
    CALIBRII.TTF    for Calibri Italic(TrueType)
    Modify the following 2 files by adding tags for this new font.
    1.fontalias.xml
    2. i18n.xml file
    Now, you should be able to see the new font in WEBI.

  • Parameters from SQL command not available in Web Viewer

    Hello,
    I recently built a report using Crystal Reports 2008, and I'm using it with CR4E 2.0 SP1.  The report has had a SQL command inserted into it, instead of pulling in tables and taking the desired fields.  This was done to speed up rendering time.  The SQL command also has some parameters in it to adjust the date, etc.
    When the report is viewed in CR4E under the web viewer, the parameters are not available to be changed.  They will appear at first for the initial settings, but cannot be changed afterward.  These parameters were set to "Editable" in CR2008.  In fact, other reports will work this way, but those reports don't use SQL commands as a datasource.  Is there another step I haven't completed?

  • Filter by "Result from another query" option not available in Webi

    Hi all
    I am trying to filter one query by zipcode based on the results of a previously run query in the same report. However this option is not available on the drop down when I drag zipcode into the filter pane. I am restricted to the options: Constant, Value(s) from a list, Prompt or Object.
    I have "use subqueries enabled" within my universe and the data is held in an RMDBS (i.e. it is not an OLAP universe) so I expected this functionallity to be available.
    I am using XI 3.2 and Java version 1.6.0.15, i.e. up to date.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here is one method to achieve your objective, however, it involves the use of Merge Dimensions.  Here goes:
    In the Edit Query mode, build two queries, where the first query has all the objects, to include Zip code, and the second query has the zip code, filtered for the one at hand.  (you probably have done this portion already)
    In the Edit Report mode, think of your data set as Query1 (all the data objects you want) and Query2 (zip code and filtered on that zip code) and thus you'll have Query1.zip and Query2.zip.  If you build a grid containing all the data you want from Query1, then simply add Query2.zip to that grid, voila, the grid will be "filtered" due to the "merge" that occurs under the wire.  The 'problem' here is that you have two columns that are repetitive and there is no inherent way to "hide" a column in WebI other than masking the column with white on white (font/borders) or some folks sometimes apply Alterters to achieve the same.

    I have loaded iCloud Control Panel 4.0 on my PC (Win 7 64)
    The iCloud Drive, photos & Bookmarks is available to be switched on/off but Mail, Contacts, Calendar etc not available. Instead just a message on top that says you can access Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Reminders at iCloud.com.
    How do I setup iCloud so that the Calendar & Contacts on my OUTLOOK 2010 are synced with my iPhone &iPad?

  • Cell definition not available in Webi

    I have defined cell definition in a bex report, but unable to get it in te webi report. We have  around 20 rows & 7 columns. Out of the 2 structures used only the row structure(characteristic structure ) is visible in webi. the keyfigure structure in not visible in webi.How can I see the cell definitions in te webi report??

    Hi,
    KeyFigure Structure is never visible in WebI, you will just have a flat list of Measures corresponding to all visible members of your KeyFigure Structure. For Structure based on Characteristics you will have a Dimension in Univers which will contain same hierarchy of members (visible ones) defined in Structure.
    Any KeyFigure with unsupported configuration (like cumulation, local calculation ...) will not be leveraged in Universe, so it's possible to have no KeyFigure in QueryPanel outline if you have only unsupported KeyFigures in your Bex Query.
    You should first try to create a BEx Query with very simple double Structure design, to make sure you get correct behavior in this case, and then create your DataCell definitions and Calculated/Restricted KeyFigures.

    I have an issue: several notifications should go into a newly created mobileme-calendar, which is available for normal, scheduled, events, but in the "edit notification"-pop-up, this (and 2 other) calendar doesn't even show up...

  • Published web galleries not available as web widgets in iWeb

    hi all. sorry some are experiencing probs with iWeb '08. It does seem to have some bugs, but man it is cool for my uses! I have published a web gallery in iPhoto, but when I go to insert it in my iWeb through the Insert Menu up top or through the web widget menu it says there are no web galleries available. i've restarted my machine and still no go. I can visit my web gallery no problem on the internet. Any thoughts? just a bug that needs to be squashed?

    Same problem here. Does anyone know what this command does? Does it create an iframe tag with the web gallery embedded as a frame? Perhaps we could simulate the effect with HTMP snippets while apple fixes it.

  • Catch the exception thrown when database is not available in web.xml

    Hi,
    I have an app that uses a mysql database configured in the web.xml configuration file - a javax.servlet.jsp.jstl.sql.dataSource param
    There have been occasions where that server has been down, and this causes the expected error stack trace to be dumped to the jsp page
    Is there anywhere I can catch that exception in the jsp page, so the end user does not see that nasty error?

  • Pages not available in web browser

    When I try to preview my web pages in the browser I get error
    404 come up. The root file tests fine and I checked with my hosting

  • Web Part is not visible in Web Part gallary

    Hi,
    I have developed a project in sharepoint having two web parts inside it.
    Initially, when there was only one web part in my project it was working fine. But suddenly when i added a new web part, it is not showing me web parts in a gallary. Event it is not available in web part list under Web Designer Gallaries.
    I tried with old .wsp to deployed, but still the same problem.
    On my development machine it is working with two web parts very good. but when i try to deploy that wsp on production site, it is not showing me anything in web part gallary while it was when i was working with one web part only in my project.
    Please, direct me where i am doing wrong, any possibilities?
    I did workarounds as
    1.  Check for the custom webpart feature folder under 14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES ----- Yes it exists there
    2. If the feature Scope is Site
    3. The webpart dll is deployed to GAC with Stsadm command
    4. No web part(My Custom) found here Site Action > Site Settings > Galleries > Web Parts

    in my development environment i checked in site collection feature, it isn't available in site collection feature but still i am getting those web parts in web part gallery while adding it on page.
    Also, in Production environment, feature is available in /templates/features folder after deployment, but not available in web part gallery while adding it on page.
    I tried with uploading .webpart file which is available in /templates/features production environment as i mentioned, is running for one web part. Not for second web part and giving me security error.
    As, uploading .webpart file is not feasible solution, please tell me how could i do that with .wsp file?
    please tell me what could be another workaround.

  • Could Calendar services not available after reboot be LDAP problem?

    I followed this installation guide:

    I have successfully installed and set up the Oracle UCS Sun7 update 2 server. Calendar works ( if I don't reboot the server ).
    However, when I reboot the server, Calendar service is unavailable.
    Important information for when I installed Oracle UCS sun 7 update 2 by following the installation guide:
    I have noticed when browsing through the folders, that there was already a 'dsee6' folder for the Oracle Linux I started from. Following the example installation for the Oracle Linux 5 with GlassFish install, I was instructed to download a new Directory Server. Following the instructions on page 7 of the install guide listed above, I made another folder 'dsee7'. I am wondering if I should never have downloaded this new Directory Server as instructed on page 6 "Get the Software". The install guide actually does not mention where to get the Directory Server from, so I just went to the edelivery site and figured it out myself. Anyways, under the "Installing and Configuring Directory Server" section, #3, I was instructed to "mv dsee7 /opt/sun/directory". In this folder, /opt/sun/directory/bin, there will be "./dsadmin" utility that can be ran. This is used to do many things with the Directory Server including starting it. Here is how I started it:
    cd /opt/sun/directory/bin
    ./dsadm create /var/opt/sun/directory/dsins1
    ./dsconf create-suffix "0=isp"
    Also, I downloaded the Directory Server from edelivery - Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition 11gR1 Patch Set 1 for Linux x86-64
    Then, I ended up running to get it set up:
    ./dsccsetup ads-create
    ./dsccsetup war-file-create
    $ ./dsccsetup cacao-reg
    ./dsccsetup status
    Then, it looked like the dcss agent is registered in cacao.
    So, if we forward ahead to page 9 of the install guide, "Preparing the Directory", I ran this and prepared the directory. After I finished installation, I could restart the Directory Server with no problems, as long as I did not reboot the machine. I would restart the Directory Server like so:
    cd /opt/sun/directory/bin
    ./dsadmin stop-domain domain1
    ./dsadmin start-domain domain1
    However, if I rebooted the machine, I could still start and stop the Directory Server as noted. But, the Calendar Services were not available.
    The only reason I wonder about this LDAP Server possibly being the cause of this is because I had at one point configured the services to start on boot. I followed these instructions:

    I am using a VMSphere client to host this set up. So, since that point of configuring the services to start up, I have rolled the snap shot back so that the services are no longer set up to start on boot. But, when they were, and I rebooted the machine, I could see ldap 389 errors all over the place. So, that lead me to roll my snap shot back in effort to try and fix the ldap errors. I no longer get LDAP errors since I rolled my snap shot back. But, like I said, I no longer have any of the services, including the LDAP, to start on boot as noted in the above link that instructs us how to do this.
    After reboot, I run these commands to get the server up and running:
    Start GlassFish server:
    cd /opt/sun/SUNWappserver/bin
    ./startserv
    Start web ( Messaging Server I think ):
    cd /opt/sun/comms/messaging64/bin
    ./start-msg
    Start LDAP ( Directory Server )
    cd /opt/sun/directory/bin
    ./dsadm start /var/opt/sun/directory/dsins1
    Start Mysql
    cd/etc/init.d
    ./mysqld start
    All of those commands complete without problem. I can log into the convergence web, I can hit the delegated administrator, I can log into the GlassFish admin console, and I can see my calendar folder when I hit it in the web ( http://myServer.com/davserver/dav/home/userName/calendar/ ).
    So, in summary, I am wondering if anyone knows if this supposed second Directory Server is causing my problems since I started with Oracle Linux 5 and Oracle Linux 5 appeared to have the folder dsee6 already installed with it. Could this be why my calendar services are not starting after reboot but are working before reboot?
    ( Also, all of my posts keep getting deleted. Can someone please email me if someone from Oracle is deleting my posts and tell me why they are getting deleted? )
