Calendar not syncing across devices

I just found that my calenders are not syncing acros my iMac, iPad Air and iPhone 5S. Under iCloud on all 3 devices I have "Calenders" check to sync. All 3 devices have the same Apple ID (iCloud Account ID) and password. Still no luck. I'm running the latest Mavericks and iOS 7.0.4 on my iOS devices.

I have the exact same problem. How did you set your default calendars so the devices sync iCal?

Photos will not sync across devices in iOS 8.1

I have iOS 8.1.1 on both my iPad and my iPhone 5. After installing the new iOS and selecting 'iCloud Photo Library (Beta)' on both devices, the 'my photo stream' folder has disappeared and photos will not sync across devices. Everything was fine prior to installing the new iOS. Can anyone help me to fix this? Thank you!

If you are using iCloud Photo Library Beta there are some differences from what you may be use to. Please read over the attached article for information on how your pictures are now organized and for how you can turn it off if you choose to do so.

"Sent" and "Trash" mailboxes not syncing across devices

My "In Box" syncs across devices, but the "Sent" and "Trash" boxes do not. How do I ensure that all my mailboxes are syncing across all my devices, so that conversations can move back and forth regardless of which device I am using at the moment?

Collections do not sync across devices - bookmarks do ???

Hello. I am trying to sync my books & PDF's between my iPhone 4S & iPad2. Both are running iOS 5.0.1 and all apps are up to date. Both have "sync bookmarks", "sync collections", & "online audio & vidoe" checked. I am using iCloud and both devices are backed up nightly....
I have manually pulled books and PDF's to each device; what is strange is that when I bookmark on one devicee (say the iPhone), the bookmark is recognized almost instantly on the other device (iPad).... BUT, when I add a book or pdf to one device, it doesn't automatically sync to the other device.....??

Let me revise my last post - Books purchased in the library DO sync across devices; items I place in iBooks from email, etc.. do NOT sync.

Contacts and Calendar not sync across all devices

Installed mavericks a few weeks ago. Just looked at a contact on my iPad and iPhone and noted that changes made on my MacBook Pro are not showing up on either of these 2 devices. What is going on? I used to sync manually using iTunes. Tried this just now and does not update info in either calendar or contacts. I used to see :syncing Calendar, syncing contacts in the window describing progress - this does not appear.
Very very confused. Syncing across all devices very important. spend a lot of time in rural areas with no access to wi-fi. Am I trapped in iCloud only? if so How does that work?? Help!

Still confused - now I have multiple copies of the same event on my MacBook Pro, and iPad, and not at all on my i iPhone,
Just created a dummy contact on my iPad, and it appeared on MacBook Pro but not on iPhone. turned off iPhone and turned back on and new contact appeared.
My calendar on iPhone has no data from the time I started using Mavericks until a dummy event I added this afternoon. Do I need to turn my iPhone off and then back on to get it to sync? even with turning off and on the missing calendar items have not appeared.
I am a bit reluctant (afraid) to go to the web and look at my iCloud.com account for fear of sending yet another copy of the same calendar appointments and duplicate contacts / contacts info to myself on my devices. I have multiple copies of the same contact on my MacBook Pro. some of the contacts have 3 or 4 duplicates of the same information - example "home phone" or "e-mail address." Sometimes I have 3 or 4 copies of the same contact card.
Hope you are having a better day, I am completely confused and more than a bit frustrated. Has anyone written an app to replace sync services in Mavericks? I would gladly pay for it!

Calendar not updating across devices

My calendar isn't updating across different devices using iCloud. It appears that all settings are correct and I'm using the same account on each device. Photos update just fine.

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

ICloud Mail not syncing across devices

This issue has been bugging me for many months now and I have not been able to find a solution: I am an iCloud user for email etc, iPhone 4s with iOS7.0 and MBP with OSX10.8.5 and Mail 6.6. There are actually 2 issues which I would like help in resolving:
1. If I happen to notice a new email received on my iPhone and open up that new message using the iPhone, it then does not get downloaded by Mail on my MBP. If however I choose to ignore a new message in my iPhone's inbox and wait until I get home to read it using my MBP, then Mail downloads the unopened message and I can choose to read it using either the iPhone or MBP. However, new mail downloaded on my MBP and which I then open using Mail is also downloaded on my iPhone and marked as read.
2. Sent Mail is not sync'd across the two devices. I can get around this by bcc'ing myself on all sent messages.
I use IMAP and have tried some recommendations I have found on some help sites but to no avail.

Unfortunately, iCloud only pushes new mail. In iOS, it has never pushed the updated status of mail read, moved or flagged on other devices. http://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT203545
You could try switching your iCloud mail to fetch instead of push. I've never tried this, but maybe it will fetch the read status, as per the fetch schedule.

ICloud Calendars not syncing between devices at all

Simply put, newly added events either on my macbook pro running Yosemite or my iPhone 5s running iOS 8 will not sync to iCloud and show on my other devices. I've tried everything including restarting devices, unchecking/checking iCloud calendar options, signing out/back in to my iCloud account, nothing will resolve this issue and i can't find any related posts.

TS3988 iCloud not syncing across devices?

My devices are not syncing in iCloud.
E-mails can be received but not deleted - I have to delete from each device separately.

iCloud does not sync emails. You are interacting directly with your email on the server, so whatever actions you take on one device/computer are actually performed on the server, so are also seen on every other device/computer that connects to the same account on the same server.
Just to confirm, you are referring to emails sent to your @icloud.com (or @me.com / @mac.com) email address, arent you? Not any other external email account?

Subscription type calendar not syncing across to mobileme from ical - help!

i have a subscription type calendar (happens to be for remember the milk) that shows up perfectly on my ical but is not syncing out to the mobileme account and thus this cal of events from RTM does not make it to the iphone calendar
any help would be appreciated??!!

I have the exact same issue.
My iCal syncs to MobileMe and to my iPhone 3G. All sync fine. My wife's subscription to this calendar appears to be stuck in time from a week ago. I'm guessing around the time of 10.5.5. The online info is correct, but nothing gets her iCal to see it correctly. I've tried refreshing it and deleting it and re-subscribing to it, neither fixed it.
Has anyone gotten this issue fixed?

Calendar not syncing to devices correctly

I wondered if someone could help me with this. Just recently when I enter a new 1 day item into Calendar on my Macbook Retina running Mavericks and wait a second it syncs and is fine on the iPhone and iPad and on iCloud online website as a timed day event. When I then enter some details to it and select all day event it spans that day and the following day only on the iPhone and iPad not iCloud nor on my Macbook Retina.
I have read about adjusting Time Zone support and have tried numerous settings on all devices including setting all the same and also 'Off' and different combinations of these and makes no change at all.
I hope somebody can help me with this.

Bookmarks not syncing across devices

My iBook bookmarks have stopped syncing between my iPhone 4 and iPad 2.
I have tried turning the syncing off and on in settings but still no luck.....anyone have any ideas as it's driving me nuts ?????

Oh my oh my. Xmarks is conflicting with my OSX Safari and blocking iCloud sync somehow. I disabled Xmarks for Safari in system prefs and viola. iCloud across all devices syncing again in a matter of seconds.I was syncing Safari and Firefox.

Messages Not Syncing across devices with iOS 8

Hi all,
Since December 2014 and an update at that time my iMessages stopped syncing correctly.
Some messages sync some don't.
I send from my iPhone5c and it doesn't show up on my iPadAir.
Reply will go to my iPadAir and not to my iPhone5c
If one of my devices is off then no messages will go to it and it won't sync once turned back on.
I have done the: turn off iMessages, quit program, turn off devices. Restart and turn on iMessages again on devices. This hasn't fixed the issue.
My number and emails are all correct on devices. I am logged in on devices. They just adhocly sync.
Any other ideas?

They are received normally for me and everyone I know using 8.3. Are you using WiFi or cellular data? Has these devices ever been hacked/jailbroken, at any time?
If not, try these steps as needed:
Reset: press both home and lock buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Restore to factory settings using iTunes, also restoring a backup
Restore to factory settings as new, without using a backup
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

Deleted emails not syncing across devices

Until recently when I deleted an email on one device, it would sync on all of them. Now I'm having to delete them manually on each one. I use various devices Samsung phones, Ipad, Android tablets and always worked fine. None of the settings have changed on any of them so not sure why it's suddenly stopped working. All still using imap servers.

Purchases I make on my iPad and iPhone don't appear on my PC, but they do on my other iOS devices. What's the problem here?

Where don't they appear ? If you mean that they aren't automatically download then did you have automatic downloads turned 'on' in the Store tab in the iTunes > Preferences on your computer when you bought the items ? If it was 'on' when you purchased the items on your iPad / iPhone then see if the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option downloads them - if not then see if they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading.
