Calendar not working properly in IOS 8.1.1

I recently updated my iPhone 5c to IOS 8.1.1. Since doing that my calendar will not allow me to add events. Has anyone experienced this and did you resolve the issue?

I'm having this same issue! Every time I add an event it looks like it is just thinking and then does nothing. I've been searching on multiple occasions for a fix for this, but can't seem to find one!

Filter Function Not Working Properly on iOS App

Spotify Community, The latest version of the desktop app features a filter (Crtl + f) function that allows a user to filter certain tracks from the playlist and "bring them to the forefront." For example, if I filter my largest playlist (which is 3,000+ songs) for "Nirvana," Spotify presents the 68 Nirvana tracks I have in the playlist. If I play this playlist while it is featured, it will only play the 68 Nirvana tracks that I have filterd; regardless of being on shuffle or not, the playlist will not play any songs that are not based on the filter criteria. I believe the functionality that I just described above is excellent and how the software is intended on working. However, in the Spotify mobile app for iOS, the filter functionality does not work like this. Using the filter function in a playlist will filter the presented songs based on the user's inputed criteria/query, however, the playlist that is being filtered will not restrict it's playback to the criteria that the user has inputted. For example, if I searched "Nirvana" on the same playlist above on my iPhone, the same 68 Nirvana songs that I have on that playlist would be presented to me. However, if I selected "Love Buzz" (one of the tracks), then placed the playlist on shuffle, then skipped to the next track, the playlist would then play one of the other 3,000+ tracks from the playlist; it would not restrict playback based on my inputted criteria/querry. In summary, the filter function on the mobile app does not work propely in accordance to the way it works on the desktop app. I think most users who have large libraries would like the filter app to work similar to the way I described above. What can we do to get the correct filter functionality implemented on the iOS app?

Not sure if this is the way to update my question however I have found an app - "I clear my clipboard" that has cleared the entry so I can copy and paste properly again.

Calendar not working properly after software upgrade

Today I upgraded my touch software to version 4.1 (8B117). Since this upgrade, the calendar doesn't work properly. Before the upgrade this is the scenario: I would go into my Calendar (synced with my gmail calendar) in "List" view. There was always a brief pause where the calendar would refresh. The screen would go white for a second and the "List" view would reappear. After the upgrade, I see the same refresh but the screen stays white. It won't display my calendar in "List" view anymore... unless I click on either "Day" or "Month" view and then back to "List". Anyone else experiencing this? I don't know if the upgrade is the reason but that's the only thing that changed today so I'm very suspicious.

Dates are added at random, so are times, i.e. a item in outlook 2010 is set for 09.00am on the 16 dec 2010.
the date will come up as 14.35pm 20 dec 2010 on the ipod. This also occurs with repeated items, weekly, monthly and annual. as a % its about 5/15% of all appointments but they are the ones that matter most.
Things I have tried to resolve this include the following,
I have reset the ipod with factory settings, I have deleted All dates in outlook then synced to ensure all dates have been deleted, I have also tried the above and then reflashed the update before re syncing them.,
Selected replace items on next sync button in itunes 10.1.0.54
put repeating dates in and they have All been date changed and hours changed at random. BUT not changed in outlook on re-syncing. I know that the database is fine as I have also synced with an Android phone and a Win Mobile 6.5 phone and the dates Have correctly entered in both devices.
Some of the dates have changed by as much as 9 days, the hours by minutes up to 16/17 hours.
Ipod details, 32Gb at present 24Gb free so not a space issue...
The ipod touch has been updated with 4.2.1 (8C148) Running itunes 10.1.0.54
settings in ipod are for location london, in general and also im mail.
(factory reset not upgraded and also tried on 2 computers running win7 pro 1 x32bit 1x64bit)

Find My Friends Not Working Properly after iOS 7 Update

Following update to iOS7, the Find My Friends app doesn't seem to work properly anymore. In particular, when the app is on, or running in the background (i.e. you can see it when you double tap the home button) everything is fine and my friends can see my location. When the app is killed, i.e. off or not running in the background, then my friends cannot see where I am.
That was not the case with the old iOS where regardless of the app running in background or not, my friends could still see my location. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone have a solution?

Anyone know how to fix Bluetooth headset not working properly after iOS 8 update?

I have an iPhone 5S and I use a Plantronics PLT M20 model bluetooth headset. I am no longer able to answer calls by pressing the button on the headset, since updating to iOS 8. I also also cannot end calls by pressing the button on the headset. This only happened after iOS 8. The Apple Care rep stated that "this is most likely a problem with the bluetooth manufacturer and they need to update their firmware, so now it's just a waiting game until they do that". Is that correct? Anyone encountering this?

Hi - I'm a student with disabilities and rely heavily on accessibility features that make my life easier. For example, I use a Bluetooth headset to trying answer phone calls and use Siri… I especially use the "Raise to speak" option for accessing Siri. Since updating my iPhone five us and my iPad air, I've been scrambling to access the "raise to speak" option for Siri without success. When I called AppleCare, the representative stated I should have that option to enable in my settings. When I explained to her that the option is not showing, she wanted me to reset my phone to factory settings. When I told her I googled the issue and found that it may have been removed in iOS 8… She put me on hold, Came back and told me I was right.
What's worse is that that my Bluetooth headset is no longer working with my iPhone 5S. She stated that it may being I needed adjustment from the manufacturer of the headset– Plantronics. All I know is that the apple care representatives seem confused and I am extremely disappointed in this really impacts my use of Siri and my phone.
When I asked her to submit feedback to her supervisor or the powers that be… I was simply asked to submit feedback to the Apple.com website. While I understand Apple might read that feedback, I also recognize that they don't reply and I don't feel that is great support to someone like me who has a disability and needs a solution. The"Hey Siri" option is not working for me.
Does anyone have any workarounds for the "Raise to speak" problem or the Bluetooth problem? Specifically, the Bluetooth issue is when I try to hit the button on my Bluetooth headset to answer a call or end the call. It's a Plantronics PLT M20 model.

The Bluetooth patio speakers in our courtyard also have the same issue. However, my colleagues using iPhone 5 and 5s who did not update to iOS8 are using all Bluetooth devices without any issues. Apple says it is a problem with my Bluetooth device. Come on Apple.... This makes 7 different Bluetooth devices with different manufacturers. You cannot possibly believe the problem is with the Bluetooth devices when iOS7 works perfectly fine...
On another issue, my iPhone 5s worked perfectly fine in my vehicle entertainment center connected via USB. The vehicle entertainment center had complete control of my iPhone and iTunes. However, now I plug in my new iPhone 6 and it no longer communicates with my vehicle entertainment center. Again when I called Apple, they said my vehicle entertainment center needed a firmware update. Are you kidding me... That is a bunch of BS...!!!

IPhone 4: Just updated to iOS7. Keyboard on calendar not working properly. When "keys" hit, nothing happens. When repeatedly hit, many letters suddenly appear. Impossible to add anything to calendar.

Keyboard not working. Upon pressing a "key" one letter appears, then everything freezes while one continues to hit keys, then suddenly many letters appear. Impossible to add any event to calendar.

Same problem: Letter keys no longer register letters but other functions like "end", "home", opening web browser, etc.
I need to be sure that this problem does not occur during an exam.
Possible solution: (1) Press "shift" five times. (2) Click on "Go to the Ease of Access Center...." (3) Uncheck the "Lock modifier keys when pressed twice in a row" under "Options." (4) Click "Apply." (5) Restart computer.
Please let me know if the solution works. It's too early to tell in my case.

Play/Pause controls not working properly after IOS 8

I like streaming content off of a website I visit in safari. Before the update, I was able to play/pause the content from the lockscreen, I was also able to do it using my apple earpods. Now this feature doesn't want to work properly. It will work when I start listening, but if I let it play or stay paused for more than a minute, the controls stop working. If I press pause in the lock screen, nothing will happen. However, when I Slide-To-Open, the audio will start playing (or pausing) like I intended.

IOS 7 Calendar not working properly

Hi,
I can't get my iOS 7 calendar to respond to any commands... it opens, but everything is greyed out (i can navigate the app, but I can't execute anything). My iCloud is working perfectly, and it syncs with my macbook pro, but my iPhone 4 calendar will not sync or allow me to create new events. I can however sync successfully with third party apps like the sunrise calendar app for my iPhone. My contacts and safari are also syncing just fine.
Believe it or not, I do want to be able to use the default calendar app. I have tried all the usual solutions in the message boards, and nothing seems to work. Does anyone have a solution?

No one is else is havinv this problem? I'm shocked that no one has replied, not even from Apple. I am still having this problem and am missing important emails in a timely fashion. I am not getting emails that were sent 5 hours ago. THere is something wrong here. If anyone has any inkling of an idea, it would be much appreciated.

and in

set these items : P11_DATE_ITEM
with values #date_column#
to redircet to page 11.
But when i use a previews month is sep 2006 and before
it is working.Set the P11_DATE_ITEM with the selected day value (ie 12/09/2006)
When i select a day in current month and after that month it
returns to P11_DATE_ITEM #date_column# text and not the selexcted day (i e 2/10/2006)
Anyone can help me with this ?

Auto rotation is not working properly with iOS 7.1.2 upgrade

I recently upgraded my iPad to iOS 7.1.2 and noticed that auto rotation isn't functioning properly. How will this problem fix, will I have to wait till the next update ??
It takes too much time, or doesn't happen at all.
I have an iPad mini with retina display, 128GB storage.

Try a reset and see if it fixes the problem. You will not lose any data.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Note not working properly after iOS 7 update,

After installazione of iOS 7 and following, Note never worked more, I see just for half second that it is updated from other devices but any chance to use it again, it appear and disappear immediately, somebody can give me some advise pls?

IPad does not work properly in iOS 8.1

HI I have an iPad 4th generation when I restart it it gets the grey or blackscreen and takes a few minutes then goes to login screen please fix it had this problem since iOS 8. I did not have this problem in iOS 7.

I resolve the problem with several actions:
- remove iTunes 11.4
- install 11.3
- remove all music from ipad and iphone.
- on iTunes, declic the synchronization of music and synchomize the ipad with itunes.
- select music and synmchronize ; it finally worked.

Calendar not working properly after OS4 upgrade to 2nd Gen iTouch 32gb

Since I upgraded to OS4 (which took forever to restore BTW), when ever I enter the calendar app... it takes between 30-60 seconds fro the calendar to populate with my events.
This was almost instantaneous in the 3.1.3 OS.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Or should I just factory default my iTouch and re-reload everything (that will be a nightmare)?

Hi kerryp24. You are not the only one with that problem. I upgrade mi iPod to iOS4 and now, when I open the Calendar it show me the info for about 2 seconds, then cleans all them for 10 seconds, and finally reloads the info...
I hope Apple solve that problem with the next update... or may be we have to downgrade to 3.1.3? Because this it the second trouble, counting the bad battery life since the iOS update. Can Apple confirm that?

My copy and paste functions are not working properly since iOS 8 update

Ever since I updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 4s the copy and paste function isn't working. It'll work the first time but any time I copy something else it pastes the first thing I copy. The only fix I've found is rebooting the phone but that is a pain to do every time I want to copy something and should be very unnecessary. I updated to 8.0.2 but that didn't fix it.

IMessages not working properly since iOS 7.1?

Ever since updating my iPhone 5S to iOS 7.1, my iMessages have been playing up. I will send a message to someone and 5 minutes later it will tell me that it didn't send, but the person gets my message anyway. And I will not recieve messages until hours after they have been sent. Very annoying please tell me how to resolve this problem!! I have tried turning it off and back on again, no change.
