Calendar notification problem on 8900 handset

Hi,
I'm having a very strange problem with calendar notifications not working intermittently on my 8900 running OS 4.6, upgraded BBM to 5.0.0.57 and BerryBuzz 2.1.35. Stock Zen theme.
I don't suspect BerryBuzz but I'm mentioning it in case it's relevant.
I have set various appointments and usually I get notifications. I have several recurring weekly and daily appointments and on one particular item I didn't get notified two Wednesdays in a row and also today, Thursday. The particular appointment I'm having trouble with is set to recur on certain days of the week, not every weekday.
I have deleted this appointment and added it back several times and it doesn't seem to make the problem go away.
After I miss the 30 minute prior notification and if I am still before the 15 minute mark, if I change the reminder to be 15 minutes I do get the reminder that didn't work at 30 minutes, at the correct time (15 minutes prior to the appointment).
I am not in bedside mode at the time of the alarm.

Notifications problem in Mountain Lion

I have Calendar notifications set to Alerts. When I receive several Alerts at once, then try to close one, I am locked out of notifications, and attempts to close the Alerts produces only the dreaded spinning beach ball. I suspect some kind of third party software conflict, but don't know what it might be.
At present the only remedy seems to be to restart the iMac (mid 2011) Logging out and back in does not resolve the issue. I am going to try changing the Calendar notification from Alerts to Banners and see if that works better.
Has anyone else had this problem or found a solution? Any help would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem waking up my mid-2011 MBA (updated from factory Lion to OS X 10.8.2): multiple calendar alerts will appear together with alert e-mails from Yahoo account. Clearing the alerts or deleting the alert e-mails will lead to spinning beach ball. Remaining alerts at Notification Center cannot be cleared.
The only alternative to shut down or restart the OS is to launch Activity Monitor via Spotlight, from filter search for and select Notification Center, click Quit Process and confirm Quit. Spinning beach ball and orphan alerts will disappear. Notification Center will remain working. Extremely annoying but beats having to reboot.

Not getting shared calendar notifications on new MacBook Pro

Once I got a new MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB flash storage) and transferred my data from my old MacBook, I stopped getting notifications of changes made to shared calendars owned by someone else. (Changes made by others to shared calendars that I own still generate notifications.)
In iCloud preferences, Calendars is checked.
Calendar is in my Notification Center, and its notifications are set as alerts.
In Calendar preferences, "Turn off shared calendar messages in Notification Center" is not checked.
In Info for individual shared calendars, "Ignore alerts" is not checked.
I removed one of the shared calendars, then its owner resent an invitation to it, and I accepted. It didn't help; I still did not receive notifications.

This is very strange, but yesterday, weeks after I set up my new machine and found this problem, I started getting shared calendar notifications again out of the blue. I have no explanation.

Issues with Alarm Clock and Calendar Notifications

I have noticed that when I am using the Alarm clock, it will not go off when the calendar is showing a meeting reminder....
Is there any way to dis-activate this? My alarm clock will not work.. and there are too many appts in my calendar to go thru them to change...

I also have the same issue. If the alarm is set and the calendar sends a notification just prior to the alarm time, the calendar notification prevents the alarm from going off. I understand it is a bug, but when will it be fixed? What is the bug ID? how do we track known bugs so we know they are being fixed? The problem is with the iPhone's included clock and calendar apps, so it is not a 3rd Party application issue, right? Thanks!

Calendar notifications arriving late. Got a fix?

For a couple weeks, I've noticed that the calendar notifications on my Galaxy S3 are arriving late. I got one this morning that was for an event at 1 p.m. yesterday. I haven't noticed a pattern. This started before the software update, which I got last night.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks for the update on the issue that you are experiencing bugbustinbob. Notifications are super important for staying updated and in the know while on the go. We are eager to get this issue resolved for you once and for all. May I ask are you having any issues with other notifications, like voice mail or text messages? Also, please provide the android, software, and baseband version that you have installed on the S4. This can be found in Settings > More > About Phone.
Once you have provided me with this info then we can investigate further.

IOS 5.1 freezing and lost calendar notifications. How do I fix them?

Is anybody getting problems with IOS 5.1 on iphone 4. Mine is only a month old after being replaced due to a fault and now after the IOS 5.1 update it freezes when I try to unlock it and it has also frozen at the end of a call meaning I couldn't finish the call. I had to hold both buttons to reset it which doesn't always fix the freeze the first time.
Also I have noticed that all my calendar notifications on the dashboard have gone too. No matter what I do with the notifications in the settings the calendar won't appear.

I too get the freezing issue when trying to unlock my iPhone 4. It eventually unfreezes back to a locked phone, when I try to unlock it again it will either freeze or the device reboots. Following the reboot it normally let's me in. Doesn't happen every time I use the phone but is happen 2 to 3 times a day.

Calendar Notification

Does anyone know how the calendar notification works? I have seen on examples a little red circle with a 1 in it on the calendar app. Just like phone, Email and SMS notifications. If I set an appointment on the iPhone as an alert will this generate the calendar notification so if I view the iPhone I know I have an alert in calendar?
Or is it just for invitations? I'm not sure. If it is for invitations how do I set an invitation on the iPhone? Do I send myself an email with the invitation/alert so I get this notification?

I just sent myself an invitation from my desktop PC and let the iphone fetch the email on it's own. It was a meeting invitaion. I was hoping this would give me a calendar notification on the home screen so I would have a visual when I had appointments. It did not work. Worse yet is when I opened the email on the iphone it didn't even give me a choice to accept or decline the invitation. So basically the meeting invitation from outlook does not work on the iphone. Has anyone else found this out and if so is there a solution or is this another item on the long list of Apple fixes?

Calendar notifications keep turning back on

I like to have all calendar notificatins turned off, but every time I restart my computer (iMac 27" late 2012 with Yosemite) I find that calendar notifications are all turned back on - alerts, notificationsin lock screen, notificatin center, badge app, playing sound. I turn everything off and all works as it should until I restart my iMac and all the calendar notifications turn back on by themselves. Can anyone help with advice for me to keep the calendar notifications off? It's really annoying to have to change the settings every time I restart.

Well, I´m unable to receive calendar notifications after my father bought a new iphone and I put my appleid email as alternative email in his account just to revover his password in case of. I just receive emails with .ics attached.
I have tried anything, as deleting the alternate email adress on my father´s appleid, and still recieve the .ics attachments and no notifications. Furthermore, if I don´t download the .ics it won´t appear on my calendar.

FIX FOR OUTLOOK CONTACT - CALENDAR SYNC PROBLEMS

OK Guys. I have figured out the problem with Itunes not syncing the OUTLOOK CONTACTS & CALENDAR EVENT PROBLEM (For those who have this problem). So without further due....
1) Go to Outlook/Tools/Option/Others/Advanced Options/ADDIN MANAGER
2) Remove the check box in front of "OR Stuffit OL Extention" and click OK
3)Go to COMS ADD IN and you should now be able to CHECK MARK the OUTLOOK ITUNES SYNC ADDIN.
Click OK all the way back to OutLook AND SYNC.
If it worked for you, kindly leave me good feedback. Happy 4th everyone.

Let me complement my post with some info that might have help performing the above fix.
I spend about 3 hours on the phone troubleshooting this issue with Apple Iphone team last night. Before I found the FIX myself, They had me do the following:
(XP OS ONLY)
Exercise # 1:
Go to ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS:
Remove Itune software
Remove all IPOD related software
Remove all APPLE related software
remove Quicktime
reboot
Reinstall Itunes.
Exercise # 2:
Reboot Iphone
Exercise #3:
Restore Iphone (Make sure there is nothing that you cannot get back on the Iphone before Restoring and make sure you have Internet connection as the Iphone is restored from

I am getting calendar notifications for others calendars on my iphone

Ever since I updated to IOS8, I have been getting calendar notifications from my boss's calendar on my iphone 5. I have his calendar as a secondary calendar so I can schedule appointments with him as needed. His is the only secondary calendar that I am getting notifications from. His and mine. How do I turn the notifications to his off. I checked google to make sure the settings there are correct which they are. I am not getting his reminders in my outlook or my gmail browser only on my phone.

You can choose to not see those notifications by using the Settings app.
Ssettings > Notifications > Calendar > Shared Calendar Changes > turn off the notifications in that section.

Calendar notification banner not working

I am using Entourage for my calendar and everything works fine with basic alerts and what not priot to IOS5. Now when I turn on Calendar notifications for the "Notification Menu" on the slide down it will NOT display the calendar banner within the notifications screen correctly. You can see where it should be but it keeps flashing the calendar banner and not actually putting it in its place below weather or stock quotes depending on how it is displayed.
Anyone else experiencing this weird behaviour and if so any resolution?

Events are displayed in the calendar, but the reminders do not work. No sound, no on-screen does not show up anything. I tried to do and reset and Restart.
Firmware 4.3.3 did not help

Calendar notifications on iPad iOS 8.2 shows yesterday and not today

Since I updated my iPad to iOS 8.2 my calendar notifications in the notification centre are showing the wrong day. The calendar summaries for 'Today' and 'Tomorrow' are correct, but the actual calendar details shows me events from yesterday and not today.
i have tried removing the calendar from notifications, and then adding it back. I have also tried a simple reboot of the iPad. Anyone know why it is doing this? What else can I try to fix this?

WWhen the iPhone is connected via usb to computer. Look at tones on the device. Does the tone look different from all others, does it have a transparent circle next to the ringtone name?

I reset my iPhone 4 Network settings to fix the push notification problem, but I lost my internet connection. How do I fix it?

I tried to solve the "connect to iTunes to receive push notifications"-problem by resetting my network settings, but it only caused me to lose my internet connection when using 3G. Now I can't do anything with this stupid phone. How do I fix it? Ahh The iPhone isn't "stupid" it's been called "stupid" because you are frustrated at the situation , but try
Load iTunes. Backup your phone. Make sure it is backed up !! Run restore. This will get rid of the error! And please what ever you do , do not skip the back up!

This is normal and is how Apple handles photos.
There are NOT duplicate photos.
Just as a song is in your itunes library and you can access that exact same song from a playlist, all photos synced to iphone are in the photo library and those exact same photos (NOT duplicates) can be accessed from the individual albums.
It is working exactly as it should.
