Calendar notificationin is not working since firmware 4.3.2

Events are displayed in the calendar, but the reminders do not work. No sound, no on-screen does not show up anything. I tried to do and reset and Restart.
Firmware 4.3.3 did not help

After i found that it didn't work, i followed a suggestion to go look at another link, i clicked on it and now i gave new subscribed calendar that does not work or either delete and fix up. my original school holiday calendar has unsubscribed.

I have the same problem with my airport express – a blinking yellow light and it is not working. I have tried resetting it a few times.
My airport utility detects it and try to connect. However, after a few moments it says "An unexpected error occurred Try again.

Calendar popup is not working properly in af:inputDate

I am using af:inputDate component as,
<af:inputDate label="Input Date :"/>
The popup calendar is not working properly in my case. When I click on calendar buttong of the component, it is opening the calendar popup properly with showing proper date.
Now in this popup I am able to change month or year only once. Means if I am watching January month initialy and now I changed it to May, it reflect the month properly. But before closing the dialog, if I again change the month to some another month, it is not changing the calendar at all. The same case is with year also.
One more thing i want you to notice is, this component is working properly on a sample page where there is nothing in that page. But when I am adding it in my application with the same tag, it is not working.
Can any one tell me where I should look for the fix?

It's always frustrating when someone says "it is giving me exception" without providing the details. It's akin to going to your automobile mechanic and saying, "a warning light comes on." Wouldn't you think it pertinent to tell the mechanic which warning light came on? If yes, then why wouldn't you provide the exception (and perhaps the pertinent part of the stack trace) here?
Furthermore, since it works in a "very simple page," the component does at least work part of the time. If your car started at least part of the time, you'd tell your mechanic what you did that causes it not to start (for example, when I leave the headlamps on all night, it doesn't start the following morning). So... what is special about your page that it doesn't work?

Calendar notification banner not working

I am using Entourage for my calendar and everything works fine with basic alerts and what not priot to IOS5. Now when I turn on Calendar notifications for the "Notification Menu" on the slide down it will NOT display the calendar banner within the notifications screen correctly. You can see where it should be but it keeps flashing the calendar banner and not actually putting it in its place below weather or stock quotes depending on how it is displayed.
Anyone else experiencing this weird behaviour and if so any resolution?

IPhoto '11 "Buy Calendar" button does not work

I am running Mac OSX Mountain Lion Version 10.8.2. I have iPhoto '11. All software is up to date. I have created a calendar. When I click "Buy Calendar", the screen goes white for roughly two minutes. Another scrambled screen comes up. See below:
There is a link to "Check Out" at the bottom. I click it, nothing happens. Then I force quit. I have checked "United States" in Preferences>Advanced>Print Products Store. I have rebuilt the library by holding down option command when opening iPhoto. I have rebuilt the library by downloading the iPhoto Library Manager. I have created a new temporary library, created a test calendar and tried to buy it. That did not work. I have previewed it first, that did not work. I have read every forum there is on this issue and tried every remedy and nothing works. Apple wants $19 to answer my question. I refuse. I know others have had this problem. Apparently some of the posted remedies have resolved their issue. Not mine.
I've only been using a Mac since September 2011. I have been working on this one issue for 7 straight hours. Please help. Thank you.

Ok, Apple is updating its printing services - but it can't even offer decent support after they rejected my order.
Received the following email from them this evening, after ordering a calendar last night:

After contacting Apple Support, they couldn't help me at all. I have checked the calendar thoroughly. There are no low resolution photographs; there is no clipped text; there are no warning triangles or errors. It would be nice to be able to actually talk to someone who can tell me what's going on! The print service works well when it works, but when you get rejected - for reasons I cannot fathom - then you're obviously on your own.
If they get the service working soon, then I will try one more resubmission (the only thing Apple Support could suggest!). Otherwise, a popular Norwegian photo print outlet will be getting my business - also in the future!

Outlook 2010, iCloud, Calendar, iPhone synch: not working together.

Everything had been working fine: My iPhone calendar events were synching with my Outlook Calendar and visa versa. Then a couple of days ago it seemed to stop. My iPhone wasn't synching with my Outlook. So what do I do? I look on the web to see if there is something about the problem. I read that it could be caused by the need for my iphone to have the latest update. I was using OS 6 and there was OS 6.1 available. I decided to go ahead and update the iphone.
Well, that killed the iphone. The screen when blue and then the apple symbol showed up on the computer and it just hung there. It was like it was trying to load and just not loading. I had no phone for the day. I was 4 hours from the closet Apple store, and after work headed off to the Apple Store.
When I arrived (40 min before they were set to close) they were very nice and took my phone and got it back up and running. The problem was that what ever they did killed all my pics and other info on my iphone (music...). But the Calendar seemed to be working. So I thanked them and trundled off to the hotel.
At the hotel I plugged my iphone into the computer and then it poped up saying that I could restore my phone from itunes! Yea!! So I did it.
Well... that killed the calendar again. So there was a bug or something goinng on between the icloud and iphone and Outlook, I think... I'm not sure but I think that had to be the case. I say I'm not sure because I hadn't checked to see if my Outlook clendar was updating and pushing those updates to my iphone through the icloud calendar. But I think that had stopped.
So again, a second day without a calendar. I had a phone so at least that wasn't too bad.
I made an appoointment at the San Antonio Northstar Mall Apple store location. Let me tell you what... these guys here are very friendly (especially Levi, great guy). And now I'm sitting here (for three hours) trying to get this resolved. Mind you many people would say "Hey that's taking a long time!" but remember folks we aren't paying these people to help us. True I'd be willing to pay but we're not... so relax.
Anyhoo... I finally got the Outlook Calendar to find the Icloud Calendar but it's still not synching up. I signed out and have signed back in and am hopeing that this resolves the loss of the calendar on Outlook.

I agree. I posted about this about a month ago and the only answer I got was that perhaps it was the way which google was choosing to handle the functionality. I think the feature where you can click on an address in your Google Calendar (and it should work on your Iphone Calendar as well), and it comes up in the Iphone Maps application, is completely necessary, as the map in safari is basically worthless. I had previously bragged about this feature, and now it's gone?! BRING IT BACK!

Calendar notifications not working

I have many items in my calendar and my notifications/reminders are not working. I used to get a pop-up reminder 15 min. prior, but I am not getting any since yesterday. Not sure what changed!

Calendar invites do not work

Since me and my partner updated to IOS 7 yesterday on our iPhone's the calendar invites no longer work. We set them up and send them but the other person never receives the invite to accept?

I too am having this issue. Both my Gmail and my Work's ActiveSync Exchange emails are setup on my phone. Calendar and Email are turned ON for both. Sending Meeting requests to either my gmail or work email do not pop up with notifications in the calendar up. Badge icons do not appear on the calendar app.
Inside of the calendar app, the inbox section doesn't show anything.
If i go to the date and time on the calendar for the event, it is already there on the calendar, as if it has been accepted.
my notification settings for calendar are:
show alerts
show badge app icon
show in notification center
show on lock screen
I've tried disabling and re-enabling background up refresh (the global setting, there isn't an individual setting for calendars) this also did not work.

Calendar in UWC not working.

I'm trying to setup calendar to start working in UWC. I didn't setup whole SunJavaMessingSystem, just i have to fix stuff after someone else's job, that's why it's even harder in my case. The envirovment is that i have over 5 domains that have to use mail/calendar and adressbook. Normally Calendar/Mail and adress book works for them. Just calendar doesn't thru UWC (normally it does). I have read a few posts about it and tried a lot of examples from here but never got to it. Count someone can help me with it. I'm posting some details so you can help me better. Here it goes:

I've set as you mentioned [email protected] I had before calmaster in some other domain (it's still in there) but i also created new one and put him in domain i use the most and that is set in uwcauth.conf:
defaultdomain = defaultdomain.com
Also i tried to login as calmaster to UWC and i wasn't allowed to see calendar either. When logging in just to calendar express - all works fine.

Calendar synchronization does not work anymore

Hello all,
I am trying to fix a problem with my calendar synchronization.
I had been synchronizing with Lotus Notes for several months and recently ran into some problems that seemed to originate from a specific note in Lotus. I attempted to fix the problem by identifying the last note encountered and removing it. This only moved the error to the previous note in the log.
I then tried to see if resetting the synchronization options in Desktop Manager would help kick start the process again. This did not change the outcome.
The next step was to reset the Blackberry calendar database and options from the desktop manager and try and start from scratch again. This time there was no error but there was no synchronization either. Further digging showed that there was no rim.log file and no Notes log file created. I know the Desktop was communicating with the Blackberry because the desktop logo was showing on the device.
I then tried restoring my calendar so I could get back to the original problem. After the restore I was still getting the new scenario of no synchronization not the original problem.
I set up synchronization for memos from the device to the desktop using the ASCII export just to see if any synchronization would work. Memos came down fine and I now had a rim.log file produced but still no calendar synchronization.
All of the above was done using Desktop Manager 4.3.(?). I have since updated the desktop manager to 4.7 and I am getting the same results. The last thing that I have tried was resting the calendar again and resending my service books, still no synchronization. This is a wired synchronization and all of the calendar options say wireless synchronization = no (I don't have a wireless option that I am aware of on this phone).
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

You may try rebooting the device to check if it works. If this did not help, you will have to re-setup outlook account on your device to get it worked.

Syncing my iCal calendars in iTunes - Not working after installing Leopard

* I have tried researching this as much as possible before posting this, so I apologize if a solution has already been posted for this issue!
After recently installing Leopard, I have noticed that when I try to sync my iCal calendars to my (5th generation) iPod (using iTunes) that the only calendars showing up as available to sync with are "Home" and "Work". I do not have a "home" or "work" calendar in my iCal. In fact all of my calendars in iCal appear to be working fine, however, I am unable to see any of them when I go to my iTunes to sync them to my iPod. I tried syncing my iPod with the "Home" and "work" calendars, but they are empty. I used to be able to sync with no problem whatsoever. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot for any helpful advise!

Glad to hear that contacts are working again.
Other troubleshooting steps involve refreshing the iTunes and iCal plist files.
1. Quit iTunes and find the com.apple.iTunes.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Drag the file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check iTunes for expected behavior.
2. Quit iCal and find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Additionally find the Calendar Cache file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars folder. Drag both of these files to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check for desired behavior.
I listed these as separate steps to keep from changing too many things at one time. If you are dissatisfied with the results you can always return the original plist files to their original locations.

I'm trying to order a calendar that I've designed in iPhoto. The order button is greyed out, so I can't press order. I have "one-click ordering" enabled, but do I also need a .mac account? Or is this service not available in the uk?

I managed to order a pair of Calendars on the 17th...
Order status was shipped, but with no confirmation email until 23rd. it says I have to expect 7-9 days from receipt of email for delivery, so possibly 1st of February....
So at least then it worked - are you getting the same grayed out button on books?

Calendar and Book not working

Please help. After selecting some pics (or an album or event), I click on Book and get the "Choose type" window, but none of the listed choices are available. Clicking on Calendar doesn't do anything at all, while clicking on Card works just fine. What's wrong?
I have all the latest versions installed. Removing com.apple.iphoto.plist in Prefs won't help. I have checked the Themes folder in Application Support and there are 298 theme files there. I've done a fresh re-install of iPhoto as I was having printing problems but that is OK now. Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated, as I'd love to have the hardcopy pics available ASAP.

The themes for the books and calendars have been deleted some how. Go to the HD/Library/Application/iPhoto and check the Themes folder. If it's empty move it to the desktop, delete the iPhoto application and any file with iPhoto in it that resides in the HD/Library/Receipts folder. Then reinstall iPhoto from the disk it came on. Run the latest update, 7.1 and repair permissions. That will bring back your book and calendar capability. I just finished doing the same thing.
Remember to remove the Themes folder first even if empty.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

New calendar from OSX not working on Mac

after downloading the OSX and updating system on a mini mac & my mac book pro. the calendar appliction seems frozen. Keeps saying its moving calendars to server account??
Not sure what that means. It worked fine on the mini mac. Froze on mac book pro :-(

I've tryed to power down. I hate to go through reinstalling OSX again. It took a while, but well worth it for all the other stuff. But i really need the calendar. Main reason for new install was so it would sync with iCloud and all other devices.

Restart your Macs.
Then on both Macs open System Preferences > iCloud
Deslect the box next to: Calendars then reselect it.
If you are syncing via iCloud to iOS devices, tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Calendars off then back on.
Then try using the Calendar app.

Exchange calendar syncing suddenly not working on 2nd gen IPOD touch

Calendar syncing on IPOD touch 2nd generation no longer works with Microsoft Exchange server. Mail syncing works fine.

A full restore is probably not going to solve your ongoing WiFi issues - which are causing your YouTube problems. Best bet is to do two things with your router:
1. Pull the plug, wait a minute or two, plug it back in. (power cycling)
2. If that works, you are done. If not, go to the router manufacturer's website and download and install the latest firmware for your router.
If you are still having problems, reset your iPod network settings - tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. When your iPod restarts, log back into your network by this route:
1. Tap Settings > WiFi > Other
2. Enter your network name
3. Enter your security mode
4. Enter your password
You should be all set. However, if you continue to have WiFi problems, please post a new question, with details about your network setup and router, to one of the other touch discussion groups.
