Calendar On Ipad not Syncing to Iphone Icloud

Hi I recently had an i pad mini for christmas.
When i tried to sync my calendar from my iphone, only certain events from the past few weeks would sync not all of the year.
I have gone into settings and made sure that i have the option for everything to be synced and have identical settings on both devices.
I have also noticed that when i try and add an event on my  i pad not only does it not sync but sometimes it doesent show up at all not even on the ipad i just created the event on.
I would also like to point out that every event i create on my iphone shows up on icloud but does not always show up on i pad
Thanks in advance for any help.

Please make sure that you create new events in an iCloud calendar (open the event and check field calendar) and not in local calendar or in a calendar from another service that you also set up on one of your devices.
If you would like to see all the events of the year, then please make sure that you choose the option in "Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > (section Calendar) > Sync > All Events".

  • Calendar on ipad not sync with iPhone

In recent days I have put appointments into calendar on both my iPhone 4 s and my ipad2 and neither has synced with the other. Any thoughts or suggestions. Up until a few days ago, this was not a problem.

Hi David, thanks. Yes, it is the same accounts all devices and was working fine until last week. I put an appointment in my iPhone on Friday and it still hasn't appeared only iPad calendar yet. I didn't realise until I went to put a different appointment in my ipad this morning. This has not appeared on my phone. As it was working perfectly well before it seems to suggest it is an iCloud problem

  • Avoid installing iTunes 11 if you are a Windows user. Calendars, etc will not sync with iPhone or iPad. Anyone have a fix?

After installing iTunes 11.0, Outlook Calendars, etc will not sync with iPhone or iPad. Anyone have a fix?

I'm also seeing weird sync issues since upgrading to iOS 7.  The sync issues started when I first upgraded to iOS 7 so I suspect that iOS 7 is to blame and the other system differences aren't an issue (i.e. I also upgraded to Windows 8.1 but it never worked properly when I was on Windows 8).  For me, the only way to "sync" all the smart playlists and music is to restore from backup and then the first sync seems to work.  However, I haven't tried that recently (I tried it a month back or so and it worked then) because it is ridiculous to have to restore your phone just to sync things!  Apple needs to fix the iOS 7 quality issues.

text on ipad not syncing with iPhone at all times

Same with me. It used to be that Books would sync with my iPhone, but it seems that since IOS 5 came out they don't sync any more. Everything else syncs fine through iCloud; iPhone 4s & IPad 2.

  • ICloud calendar not syncing to iPhone, iCloud calendar not syncing to iPhone

On my phone, I have a calendar called Calendar. On my Mac, and on iCloud.com, I have Work and Home. I cannot find an option to get the Work and Home sent out to the phone... any help?

I was having a similar problem where Calendar events I would add to my iPhone would not sync to my iPad or iCloud.  What I realized is that in Calendar settings on my iPhone there is a calendar which is listed "On My iPhone" as simply "Calendar".  That was where all my default events would go.  Somehow, though, on my iPad and iCloud, only "Work" calendar entries seemed to sync.
Now I never really differentiated - I somehow stumbled into different calendars.  This is the only way I figured out that "Work" was syncing across all levels.  So this may not work for everyone who likes to separate Work and Home, but I edited my future events to change them to the "Work" calendar - and will make all entries in "Work" from now on - and now it all syncs.
Maybe there's another fix, but I think for my particular case - where most of my calendar entries are made on my iPhone - and were made in the default "Calendar" calendar, it works now.

  • Ibooks on ipad not syncing with iphone

I downloaded IOS 5 on iphone 4 and ipad 1, set up icloud.  Calendars, etc are syncing fine however the most recent book i purchased on my ipad (2 days ago) is not showing up on my iphone nor are the bookmarks on other books I am reading on my ipad.  I have set up the bookmark & collection sync on my ipad and my iphone.  Is there a setting on my MacBook Pro that I might be missing.

Same with me. It used to be that Books would sync with my iPhone, but it seems that since IOS 5 came out they don't sync any more. Everything else syncs fine through iCloud; iPhone 4s & IPad 2.

  • Calendars and Contacts not syncing between iPhone and Mac

    Hello.
    I am using a MacPro4,1 (early 2009) running OS X 10.9.1, and an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.4.
In iPhone, Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Calendars Settings are set to: Sync – All Events.
In iTunes, Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi is checked.
Calendar and Contacts aren't syncing, in neither direction, neither over Wi-Fi nor by cable. (I haven't, and won't try iCloud or however that thing is called now.)
No idea why. I'd be thankful for any hint.

so there's nothing but iCloud to do this? Is there a workaround? Or do I have to use either other a different set of applications, or another set of operating system and hardware? Not syncing is no option, iCloud isn't either, changing systems is.

  • Calendar – Outlook does not sync with iPhone / iTunes

I posted this question to the iphone hardware forum, however it seems to be more suited to iTunes.
I have had Microsoft Office 2003 working with iTunes and my iPhone 4 to sync my calendar and contacts for some time, and everything worked perfectly up to the other day.
Recently I upgraded from Microsoft Office 2003 to Office 2010, and now the calendar will not sync.  Contacts seems to sync ok, but not the calendar.
I have recently gone through several iterations of upgrades for iTunes, iPhone, and other MS patches and updates.  Evrything is now up to date.  However, nothing I do changes to way that Outlook ignores the iTunes sync.
Everything worked fine until the upgrade to Office 2010.  I have changed all of the settings in both iTunes and Outlook and on the phone itself.  There does not seem to be any way to make it work.
I always wait for some time before doing any upgrade to make sure the bugs are worked out of it.  Since Microsoft Office 2010 has been out for almost three years, I would have assumed that iTunes would work with it, as it normally did with earlier versions.  (my mistake)
While the potential is there for the iPhone to ba a good business tool, the basic inability to reliably sync to Outlook (what is agrguably the most prevalent e-mail, contacts and calendar program currently in use) seems to be a relatively significant issue.
Is there any way to fix this?

I looked at the article you referenced, however it appears that the focus is to get Google calndar and Outlook to work together.  I do not use Google calendar.
The only real change to the Microsoft side appears to be the change of the version in the Outlook executable file.
Is this all it takes to get MS Office 2010 to sync with iTunes?

  • I have icloud on my laptop running windows 7. If I enter an event on calendar, it will not sync to iphone or ipad??

How can I get a calendar event to sync from icloud on my windows 7 laptop to my iphone and ipad??

    Hi tomtodd,
If you have it setup correctly
Set up and use iCloud for Windows
check this article for troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
Check the section for iOS devices first, then there's a section for iCloud.com and Microsoft Windows.  Try adding the event at iCloud.com for example and see if that syncs.
    Best regards,
    Nubz

  • ICloud calendar on mac not syncing to iPhone (very well)

Hi. I have recently switched from Google calendar to purely using my iCloud calendar. I created brand new iCloud calendars. Imported the events from Google calendars and it seemed mostly to work. The events seem the same on my iMac as on my iPhone. However, it seems to be very slow. For instance. I just added a test event on my mac iCloud calendar and am still waiting (half an hour later) for it to show up on my iphone. I thought iCloud was meant to be instant. I don't get why there is such a delay.

On the Mac, open Calendar/Preferences/Accounts/Account Information. Make sure the Refresh Calendars rate is set to "Push"
On the IOS devices: Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/Fetch New Data: Push

  • Calendar & Contacts do not Sync to iPhone via Active Sync

I've been trying to figure this out for 3 days now. I have searched all over this site and the Internet in general and nothing I have found has fixed the issue.
Basically, starting last week, my Push mail from Exchange started draining my battery from 100% - dead in about 8 - 10 hours. I turned off Push and my battery draining issues went away.
On Monday while searching the net for assistance with the battery draining issue I saw a suggestion to delete the account from the iPhone and re-add it. I did this and all h*ll broke loose.
Ever since adding the exchange server back in the following issues exist:
    1. No contacts will sync over from my Outlook Mailbox.
    2. No calendar entries will sync over from my Outlook Mailbox.
    3. Only a handful of existing mail messages synced over after adding it (doesn't matter what I set my number days/months to save).
    4. New mail seems to show up fine, but if I read it in Outlook it does not mark it as read on the iPhone and vice versa.
    5. If I get a new invite for a meeting it adds it to my calendar on the iPhone but I dont' get any of the options to accept/decline.
I have tried everything I can think of an all of the suggestions that have been posted online. I've even gone as far as deleting/archiving EVERYTHING out of my mailbox, including contacts, calendar entries, tasks, all mail sent and received, you name it. Nothing I do gets Active Sync working the way it should.
I've added and removed the exchange account to/from my iPhone so many times I can practically do it blindfolded. I even restored my iPhone to factory defaults and then restored a backup I had from before the problems started occurring.
Other co-workers on the same Exchange server are not having these issues.
Any ideas from anyone? I'm trying to see if I can get some assistance from our Exchange team but I don't know what if any help I will get as this is not a supported device on our network.
One thing that I can't seem to do (probably the version of Exchange we are running) is get to the mobile devices section of the Outlook Web Access Client to delete the iPhone profile.
FWIW, this is an original iPhone running 2.2.

I have this exact same issue!
I was on 2.0.1 running fine until late last week, noticed emails would not show up unless I had opened them in outlook. I thought I ran into a bug so I upgraded to 2.0.2. Now I can sync my email if outlook had them opened previously, but no calendar or contacts at all. I don't think my exchange admins will move me to another server, any other ideas?
I love my iphone but if these features don't work I can't use it. I would appreciate any ideas.

  • New events on Outlook 2010 not syncing with Iphone and Ipad

I have gone through the nonsensical uninstall/reinstall every 5 restars. This time my new events or contacts on Outlook do not show on iPhone or Ipad. There is also a new confirguration where the Outlook does not separate the iCloud calendar from Outlook calendar but lists them all, then iCloud as a separate box at the bottom. I've tried dragging to that box with no success. I make about 50 appointments and reminders to my calendar each week and use all devices whether in the office or out. How dare Apple not fix this known issue.

I just looked at topic called "Outlook 2010 - Outlook does not sync with iPhone / iTunes and used the fix suggested in that string of posts. It appears to have worked!!! My happy camper.

  • Why will my ipad not sync with the calendars on my computer, why will my ipad not sync with the calendars on my computer

Why will my ipad not sync with calendars on my imac?

I did find the info tab while trying to sync my calendars, but my iPhone5, iPhone 4S and iPad still won't sync to my MacBook Pro.
Are you using Mac OS 10.9  Mavericks?
There is no Info tab and you need to sync contacts & calendars via iCloud.

  • Documents not syncing between iPhone and iPad

I am encountering the most strange difficulty with iCloud, particularly Documents in the Cloud and the syncing of Numbers and Pages documents between iPad and iPhone. I do not use Keynote.
I will try and describe the problem in as much detail as possible and explain everything I have tried to do.
My goal is for documents I create on iPad to sync to iPhone, and vice versa, with changes appearing on both, and on iCloud.com. To clarify I'm not involving the Mac in anyway, I am aware this is a current limitation of Documents in the Cloud. Unless I'm missing something, what I want to do is what is advertised.
    - I am running the latest version of iOS on both iPad and iPhone.
    - I have the latest versions of Keynote and Pages on both.
    - I am logged in to iCloud on both iPad and iPhone with the same account
    - iCloud is working fine for all other purposes (Bookmark sync, PhotoStream etc)
    - Documents and Data is switched on, as is the option for Using Cellular Data
    - Use iCloud is set to ON under Pages and Keynote preferences
    - The arrow indicating a cloud document is on every document on both iPad and iPhone's icon, in the top right of each icon
    - In iCloud -> Storage & Backup -> Manage Storage -> Documents & Data -> Numbers it displays all the expected documents.
The current behaviour appears to be that I create a document on either device, and the document is PARTIALLY uploaded to iCloud. That is, it appears on iCloud.com under iWork, but when I click on any file it either says "Upload failed" or "Waiting" for each file.
If I try and delete a document on iWork.com, it crashes the web app and does not delete the documents.
Things I have tried to resolve:
    - Uninstalling and reinstalling Numbers and Pages on both devices
    - Soft resetting both devices
    - Disabling and re enabling Documents in the Cloud on both devices
    - Disabling and re enabling iCloud toggle in the individual app preferences on both devices
    - Deleting and readding iCloud account on both devices
    - A full restore then restoring from iCloud backup on both devices (yes, I actually did that)
    - A combination of the above in various sequence orders, none of which made any difference
More information... one solution on the web pointed to the problem involving a duplicate account which could be deleted from the Mail settings, however I only have one configured account - my iCloud account. Just in case it matters, my iCloud email is an @mac.com address.
I think I have covered everything. Any help would be appreciated since Apple themselves seemed pretty stumped on the phone, suggesting another restore, or setting the phone and iPad up as brand new devices. I'd really rather not until I've exhausted every possible outcome.
    Any help massively appreciated!!!

How did you get this fixed? I have the same issue!!
