Calendar page unresponsive, kill pages or wait?

After a few minutes of accessing my iCloud calendar I get an error that says "page unresponsive" kill pages or wait?  This just started happening 3 days ago

It's happening on FIrefox too.  It's not a browser issue!  I have tried all, Chrome, FIrefox and IE and it freezes after about 5 minutes sometimes sooner, sometimes you get a little longer, but not much.

  • Need Help Trobleshooting Calendar Page...

I am working on a website for my son's little league football team and have run into some issues with the Calendar page I have put together. This page can be found at http://web.mac.com/lonzom10/SeymourEagle_Grasshoppers/EagleCalendar.html
I built the page using an iWeb 08 template. Drug my pics in, added an HTML snippet for the header text and then added another HTML Snippet into the body of the page for my calendar layout and functionality. I have tags inserted at the top for each month so that when I click on the month, the page should jump directly to the section I have set-up for that month. So if I click on December at the top, the page should automatically jump down to the December section at the bottom of the page. The problem I have is that the December link appears to only be reading the HTML Snippet Frame... so when I click on it, the page refreshes and displays the HTML I entered into that specific Snippet window and not the background colors or images I had used when setting up the page. Check out the URL above and click on one of the the months listed at the top of the page to see what I am referring too.
Anyone know how I can get these links to jump and display the entire page and not just the specific snippet window or frame?

The December snippet is overlapping into the footer that probably will mess up performance. You can view the page's layout by using the View->Show Layout menu option.
Go to the Inspector/Page/Layout pane and increase the page height until December falls entirely within the body of the page. That should do it.
How did you add the anchors? Are they just hyperlinks to the same page?

  • Printing 5.5" x 8.5"daily calendar pages (2/page)

Augh! So frustrated!!! I'd like to just print my daily calendar pages at roughly 5.5" (W) x 8.5" (H), two pages per sheet of standard letter size paper, using landscape mode to fit them on 1 sheet of paper. I've tried everything I can think of, and everything I've found (what little I've found) online from other people re: how to do this. I can't get it to work. Either it prints 1 calender per sheet of paper, or, if I set the Pages per Sheet option option in the print dialog to 2, and use any of the layout options (boxes with 4 sub-boxes with arrow showing direction underneath the Pages per sheet pull down,) - then it defaults to 2 TINY little calendar pages in the lower corner of the single sheet, printed in portrait mode. I've tried creating a custom page set up in another app that has that dialog (since ical does not). Didn't help. Ical doesn't seem to have a feature to allow you to set the pages to print in landscape mode. (I'm using version 3.08). Anyone got a work around? (Besides buying another calender app...) This has been problematic with ical forever - I would have thought by now they would have fixed this; it's such a basic thing. (Is there a newer version of ical fixes it?) Thanks for any help!

To impose the pages properly you can use CocoaBookleet available at http://www.iconus.ch/fabien/cocoabooklet/

  • Everything on my home page, font and photos, has become smaller. This is also true for the working calendar pages. How do I enlarge?

Without notice the contents of my homepage transferred to a smaller font. The photos also became smaller. When I go to the graph calendar page to enter an event, that page also has very small font.

Reset the zoom level for that page.

  • Astrology Calendar Creative Freedom with blank Calendar Page

I would like to supply my own Calendar Page Pictures as well as the Calendar Calculations using my own Astrology Program to Calculate a differnt Calendar for every time zone. This suggestion has got to be the next step for your Calendars! Able to print anything on both sides of the Calendars, as well as leaving pages blank.

I saw a few threads related to my problem, but no solutions ....
When I try to open the Sun Java System Calendar Express web-interface with IE6, I get a blank page after the initial logon-screen. IE7 and Firefox do not show this problem - so I assume the server itself is working fine. What have you got set for the following ics.conf attributes?
    render.xslonclient.enable
    ui.toolbar.repainting.enable
I run SJS-CS v6.3 with patch 121659-18 on Linux.Let me just point out that calendar express is deprecated with CS6.3 (no more features/enhancements) so you should be looking to move to UWC/CE.
Otherwise the calendar server is working just fine - problem is, that I cannot switch all users to new/other browsers ...Did this problem start when you upgraded to 6.3 or is this a new installation?

  • Altering an ApEx Calendar page

    Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to alter an ApEx calendar page in order to make it into a resource scheduling page. Instead of the days listed across the top, it would have a list of resources (like shared meeting rooms), then times would be listed in a vertical column, showing who was using what resources.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
You can use something like this:
    http://www.moyosoft.com/joc/
This is not Open-Source, it might be the case that Apache POI is working on something for Outlook now since Microsoft release the main API calls not too long ago.
You will need the native library, and I assume somehow you can do a WebStart application to run the code in the client machine. Information regarding Java WebStart can be found on http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/javawebstart/index.jsp
I did not really investigate other ways of doing this, maybe there are better approaches.
Also, take a look here http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/Third_Party.html

  • Calendar page w/uix

I'm trying to make a calendar page with uix, with a full month view, and list out event data for each day.
What I can do, is create 35 view objects representing each day of the month (and a few before/after)...and set their whereclause param to the correct date via custom method.
This would make doing 3, 5, and 7 day listings very easy as well (drag & drop).
I'm worried about performance however, there can be over 400 events per month...
Is it possible to conditionally loop via jstl over a single classes view, displaying only those rows that apply (field day = 1,2,3...etc), and would this be slower than setting where clause params and straight displaying the data?
Thanks, I don't know enough about view object performance and jstl processing to make a determination.

We made the calendar with view objects for each potential day, and bind parameters for the query.
It's fast enough...but the database (postgresql) is on the same machine. Thinking about it now, I'd probably create transient view objects for each day, then use an application module method to loop through a view object filtered for that month, inserting each row into the appropriate day viewobject.

  • Can I print calendar pages "flipped"?

I print my calendars on 3-hole punch paper. iCal pages come out with the 3 holes on the bottom of the page. Because of how my book is arranged, I'd like to print them so that the holes are on the top of the page. I know I can simply flip the unprinted paper in the printer's paper feeder, but then I have to remember to put them back after I'm done, which I often forget to.
Is there some way I can force iCal or the printer to print these calendar pages "flipped" so I don't have to physically do it in the paper feeder?

I finally figured out how: select "Reverse Page Orientation" when printing.

  • Calendar page with notes image

I have a calendar page that is based on table below:
    PK_ID
    ATTENDANCE_DATE
    ATTENDANCE_CODE
    ATTENDANCE_NOTES
My table can store notes (attendance_notes) as well as a code for each calendar day. I currently show the attendance_code in the date box but I would also like to show an indicator or image in the date box if attendance_notes exist for that record. What is the best way to do this?

    Bob,
Isn't it possible to use the same approach as here:
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:23
and get (or not get) the images?
    Something like this:
    SELECT    attendance_code
           || DECODE (attendance_notes,
                      NULL, NULL,
                      '</br><img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#my_image">'
                     ) attendance_code
      FROM my_table?

  • Open an Outlook calendar page

    Hi everybody,
we have the customer requirement opening an outlook calender page from a Web Dynpro application.
    scenario:
    1. User clicks on a button,
    2. A new Outlook calendar page will be opened,
    3. On the opened Outlook calendar page, there are some text informations passed by the Web Dynpro application...
Is that scenario possible? And if not, should we use additional tools like SAP PI to implement this scenario?
    regards,

  • Filtering on a Calendar Page

Is there any way to have use a filter on a calendar page?
For example, if I have a table like this, is there a way to filter on the ename? I want to avoid creating separate calendar pages for each different ename.
    table_name: ACTIVITY
    ENAME VARCHAR2(60)
    ACTIVITY_NAME VARCHAR2(60)
    ACTIVITY_START TIMESTAMP

Go to preferences -> general -> set days starts at and days end at to your preference and show x hours at the time.
This will prevent "empty" hours from being printed, but it will print all events of that day/week.

  • Calendar Page displays No Response from Application Web Server

    Hi there,
I have OCS 9.0.4 on a linux ES 2.1 box (single box install). The installation went fine without any errors. When I click the Oracle Calendar Administrator link on the OCS welcome page and sign on using SSO, I get "No Response from Application Web Server.
There was no response from the application web server for the page you requested.
Please notify the site's webmaster and try your request again later. " Any ideas what is wrong ? The calendar server started without any errors (and I restarted HTTP on the midtier). Also, when I access the calendar page thru "http://midtier:7778/ocas-bin/ocas.fcgi?sub=web", only orclguest can login successfully. Every other user gets "Calendar Server connection error. Contact your Administrator" .
    I appreciate every help.

    Hi!
    Try the following:
    a) go to the midtier:port/um/admin/UMAdminLogin.uix and log in as UMADMIN with the password you specified during the installation
    b) create a mail user (one that already has an account in the OIDDAS)
    c) give that mail user the domain admin right
    d) logout
    e) login to the collab suite main page (midtier:port/pls/portal) with this user
    f) you should see the collaboration suite portlets
    g) go to messages
    h) click on the administration tab
    i) go to calendar admin
    j) create a calendar account for this user
    Hope this helps
