Calendar print out with telephone link

Hi everyone!
We have a strange calendar-print out Problem.
We are running GW 2012SP2 on the Client and GW 2012sp1 on the backend.
Default compose view is set to "plain text"
If a User creates a posted appointment in plain text and writes a number
(like a telephone number) in the message field with further
text the number is converted to a kind of "telephone link". OK - but if
we want to print out the calendar
in "expandable day calendar" format with message content the output is
not correct.
Somtimes the code of the link is part of the output or the text after
the "telephone link" is missing.
Can anyone duplicate this?
As a workaround we found either to compose the appointment in HTML or to
delete the "telephone link" manually.
Is this a known bug?

Separator page prints out with wrong name when printing from Outlook 2010

Working with Windows 7 Enterprise, Outlook 2010. We've set up our desk printers to print a separator page with the user's name, as several people use the same printers in our building. Printing from IE, Word, etc. all work fine, and it'll print
out the correct username on the separator page.
When anyone attempts to print an Outlook email, it instead prints out my username. We've found that it doesn't happen if they click on the "quick print" button, but it happens every time if they do "file > Print" or Ctrl+P.

As per the information and details provided by you that separator page prints out with wrong name when printing from Outlook 2010, please follow these steps: -
To create a custom separator page file, use a text editor such as
Notepad. On the very first line, type one single character, and then press
Enter. The character on this line defines the character used as an escape character. For example, the following list assumes that this character is the at sign (@).
Enter the escape codes for the functions you want, and then save the file with an .sep extension in the Windows System32 subfolder.
In the Print Manager, select the printer that you want to use the separator page file with, and then click
Choose Properties on the Printer menu.
Click
Details, specify the name of the desired separator page file in the
Separator File box, and then click OK.
Note:
Put the custom separator page file in one of the following locations:
In the %Windir%System32 folder.
In a folder whose path contains a SepFiles folder. For example:
Drive:\Folder\SepFiles\Subfolder

GMT Calendar printing out time as IST

Can anyone tell me why the following is happening please. I know there are always people asking about dates/times/timezones etc but i haven't seen anyone with this problem. so i'll ask it.....
I'm creating a calendar with the GMT timezone. If the calendar is set to a date that is in daylight savings time it prints out the date with the timezone IST, but if the date is not in daylight savings time the date is GMT.
How can i make it print the date with GMT ?
I'm in Dublin, working on NT, with jdk1.3.1

If you look at the source code for the "SimpleDateFormat" class, you will see that it uses the default time zone. So even though you have ensured that your "Calendar" instance is using the correct time zone, your "SimpleDateFormat" instance is not. What I usually do is set the default time zone for the JVM before I start working with dates and times -- that way I know that all date and time related classes are using the same time zone. So I guess in your case, I suggest setting the default time zone to GMT.

Pages are not printing out correctly. I have tried to fix in the options, with no luck. It prints out with spaces in between the letters.

When I go to print any page from an email, webpage, pdf file..the pages print out very wide fonts to the point where it is unreadable. I have tried to fix in the options with no luck. I can provide you with visuals if you need me to.

Purchase Order Print out with Digital Signature

Dear Gurus,
1) we are going to implement release strategy, but still business requirement to have a digital signature, Meaning, if only upto Supervisor release, then PO print should come with Supervisor digital signature, if PR value upto Supervisor & manager release, then PO print should come with Manager digital signature, if PR value upto Supervisor, Manager, GM Reelease, then PO print should come with GM digital signature, Whoever approves last, then their signature should appear in the PO printout - How to Achieve this?
2) If any amement in the Purchase order, then is it possible to reflect in the PO print out as Rev1 , Rev 2...?

Another is scan the signature to bmp and attach the bmp through smartform or sapscript - But this is not digital signature.

Problem in print out with English characters (THANGSAN font)

Hi Experts!!
I have created a smartform and print program which should actually print some Thai characters and English characters too. I created a smartstyle and have some 10 paragraph formats and are all have THANGSAN font. So, I am printing all the thai and english characters in THANGSAN font only.
When print preview is seen, the output is very fine, but when being printed, the thai characters are appearing fine but the english characters' font is being changed to somehting else (courier or arial). Why is this happening so? Because of this, all the output is being merged and looking very weird.
The smartform is created in EN and is translated to all languages. All user has logged on to SAP in EN language.
Can somebody please help me out with whether the problem is with THANGSAN or the printer?
P.S. The smartform is actually similar to the standard script Z_RVINVOICE01 in which only THANGSAN is used.

SRM PO's to be printed out with the PO

Hello All,
I have a requirement in my current project wherein the attachments with SRM PO's are to be printed out along with the PO.
In the SAP implementation guide for this it is mentioned that `SAP
delivers a standard implementation with which you can print and fax
attachment documents' and also mentions that to implement the BAdI ie
BBP_DOC_PRINTDOC the requirement is of installing the SAP interface
External Document Converter (XDC) of the SAP component Print and Output
Management (BC-CCM-PRN).
Does this mean i need a third party tool to make this possible or SAP provides a standard with which we can print and Fax attachement documents.

Spreadsheets print out with missing horizontal lines

I've searched the archives on this with no luck.
Ever since migrating to my new iBook G4 (OS 10.4.2), some horizontal grid lines in my AW spreadsheets do not print out. Some do. Some don't. All vertical lines print out okay, though. When printing, I DO enable the "print cell grid" option.
I'm using AW 6.2.9. I never had this problem with my older iBook. Any help you can suggest will be appreciated. THANKS.

Having made a similar observation, I posed the same question a few months ago -- the same spreadsheet, printing to the same printer, will print the lines in AW5, but not in AW6. There seems to be no definitive answer, but I had to print the spreadsheet while I was away, and to my surprise (and on a different printer), the grid lines printed. The only thing I can surmise is that it is somehow related to printer drivers.

When I print one of my Yahoo emails, the text of the message doesn't wrap, so is cut off,and the side bar with Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc is printed out with the message.

When I print a Yahoo email, the text does not wrap (it used to) so part of the text is cut off. Also, the side bar that list my Inbox, Drafts, Sent, etc is printed out along with the email - it didn't used to and because of that, there is not enough room for all of my email. I tried resetting it to Shrink to Fit, but that didn't help; also tried changing the print setting from 100% to 60% but it still doesn't fit on the page.

I think I have not asked my query properly.
For Maintenance Order, each order print out will be taken separately as a print out by using some template. Do you want the equipment master print out in that manner?
Else you want the details of general tab & characteristics tab as columns like equipment list report?

Design invitation card in A4 print out with duplex and fold to A5

How can I design an invitation card in A4 print it out with 'duplex' (both sided print out) as A4 and then fold it to A5? I would like to have pictures and text on all four sides of the card. I have a Canon iP5300 printer which allows duplex printing. Can I use any of the Page Layout templates and if yes how?

The system is out of the picture since this is only about such driver services as Canon supplies for Canon printers. If the driver lets you do, you can do it. If you can't get the driver to do it, try building out a PDF and stepping into a print shop that will do the printing and folding for you albeit at a price. /hh

reportDocument."Show a dialog similar to that one in CrystalReportViewer" is not possible, because ReportDocument has no user interface at all. You have to look in namespace CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms. There are things like CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.PromptingDialog. There are also some other dialogs. I don´t, if that will work. Maybe it is a help. Please inform if you are successful. I think I will need it some day, too.

why are all my emails printing out in a very small font? It takes a magnifying glass to read them.

How do I set a landscape mode for my print out with the CNIreport?

I am using CNIReport and I was wondering how to set a landscape mode when printting?

There is a property of the CNiReport object called "Orientation". You just set that property to Landscape using the enumeration provided in the CNiReport class. Here is an example with the full path to the enumeration value:
m_report.SetOrientation(NI::CNiReport::NiReportsPageOrientation::NiReportsLandscape); //m_report is the CNiReport object
