Calendar Problems After 10.2.1.537 OS Update

Hi,  I have a Blackberry Z10 on Verizon Wireless. My calendar setup is using Google Calendar via Caldav settings.  Also I have 6 calendars under my one gmail email.  Prior to the update I was able to edit my different calendars.   Now updating to 10.2.1.537 I can only update the main calendar under my email but the other ones will show up on my phone but it won't let me edit them only delete them.  Has anyone else run into this?

does "nd" mean "and"? You're making this difficult for me to understand.
Please answer this:
Turn off your WiFi.
What is the network signal indicator at top left of the home screen?
Do you see the BlackBerry logo next to the mobile network signal also, on the same line?

  • Airport problems after 8/12 airport and security update

My MacBook Pro which had been working flawlessly since I got it last year received the airport and security updates distributed today. After the reboot my airport turns itself off after a few minutes and will not come back on and the computer seems to be running hotter than usual. Booting from a recent clone of the drive without the updates did not fix the problem and the card turned itself off a few minutes after the reboot and will not come back on.
Anyone having similar problems after the update?

Does your problem occur only when unplugged. If so, then maybe this update is for you: http://support.apple.com/downloads/AirPortClient_Update_for_MacBook_and_MacBookPro. Check it out, but use your own judgment in installing; not much info is provided.

  • Calendar problems after Mountain Lion upgrade

    Hello everyone,
I've noticed various problems with Calendar after upgrading to Mountain Lion, but I can't seem to find my particular issue.
After upgrading from Snow Leopard, here's the situation:
*Every calendar that I had published has a triangle with an !, saying that the calendar couldn't be updated. This seems backwards, as they are not subscriptions--they are calendars I've created and maintained and published. They were shared using the iCalx webiste.
*One such calendar, the one I use for myself (not the default one, but a separate one with my name) disappeared and seems to have moved into another calendar. I can rename it and make that useable.
*All of the other above-mentioned calendars seem to be completely gone. No events or anything in them.
*All of the calendars I'm subscribed to work fine, except for one from a coworker who also upgraded to Mountain Lion and is having similar issues. That one has an ! in a triangle, too, but I can at least see the events. Seems that that calendar just can't be refreshed.
Any advice on what I can do to get me calendars back and correct this problem would be much appreciated.

  • IPhone calendar problems after syncing

I know I must have done something wrong - I finally synced my iPhone to my iCal on my MacBook and now I can't go back into my iPhone calendar and delete or edit any existing appointments on my iPhone. What gives? Is there a quick fix to this? I am new to this whole experience so be easy on me...

When I plug in my iPhone, and go to the info tab, notes is clicked to sync but it won't.
    Any ideas?
After reading a few others post on the same subject, what worked for them was rebooting your PC or Mac, doing a RESET on your iPhone and try again. You may wish to add a new note to both the computer and iPhone before syncing and see if that helps.

  • Start up problems after Safari 3.1 and Security update

Updated safari and security update last night.
Safari downloaded and installed but there was an error downloading or installing the security update, I forgot.
After I restarted everything booted up fine, but was stuck on "Starting Mac OS X" screen.
Did a fsck and zap the pram, still stuck.
Today I tried booting up in safe mode, stuck on the gray screen with the apple logo.
Then I tried booting up from an external firewire dvd drive. Repaired permissions, repaired the disk, but it is still stuck on "Starting Mac OS X" screen. Help please...
    Thank you

Ok i had a similar problem, with all the recent updates for Leopard, including the 10.5.2 combo update... the 12" PowerBook G4 kept getting stuck on the grey apple and spinning wheel... if it managed to get past this it would get stuck on the blue screen!!!
The way i got around this, after trying all these other tips was: Archived & Installed 10.5; restarted, waited; downloaded 10.5.2 Combo update, installed; restarted, waited; waited; waited; after getting back to desktop, restarted, waited; then ran Software Update only installing one at a time, and after each install, restarted, waited; when all Software updates completed, proceeded with iLife updates etc... It took a while (still quicker than the 3 days of failed installs and updates) with a lot of waiting on the blue screen (5-20mins) but we got there in the end. Disks where checked with Leopard Disk Utility before and after, permissions where checked before and after completing all installs, also with a DW 4.1 optimization. Also note worthy is the RAM was upgraded from the initial 256Mb (!!!) with an extra Gb.

  • Problem after 6.3 Airport Express Firmware Update

I recently purchased Airport Express to serve strictly as an audio conduit. It was working well, when received a notice while installing software that there was an update available (6.3). I downloaded the update and install it wirelessly to my Airport Express. After doing so an rebooting, my iBook could not find it. I uninstalled and reinstalled software and the result was the same.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
    G4 iBook   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Same problem here! It's exasperating because now iTunes 8 has stopped all flow of music to my speakers forcing an upgrade of firmware for AE to 6.3, but the firmware upgrade crashes... so... we're screwed.
Thought I'd chime in so we can maybe get some attention on this issue. Just release a raw upgrade and we'll do it ourselves?
    Something?
This is so annoying. All of this music and iTunes has it all hijacked.

  • GPRS problems after 4.0726.2.0.1 update on N73

20 days ago I updated the phone with the newest firmware. After that I did a hard format and I entered all the settigns manually, transfered back only the contacts. The phone is now amazingly fast and stable, but with few new issues:
It looses GPRS and MMS connectivity every day. I have to restart the phone once a day to reestablish gprs, or to receive the MMS that were sent to me. It looses the GPRS randomly, without starting any application. Any help?

It seems that the older version of Handy Taskman (1.05) was causing the problems.
After I upgraded with the latest (1.06) the problem didn't appear. I have stable GPRS connection for 2 days now

I have a 30 gig video Ipod...Did the update, and everything went fine as far as updating the ipod and itunes....Except now I only get barely 7 hours of audio playback on my ipod... Has anyone else noticed this problem... And if so is there a way to revert back to the previous Ipod update version for the time being..... I dont use videos on my ipod just audio podcasts... • Nokia 5233 problem after a small V51.1.002 update

the new version of the browser makes my mobile running slow when i open the app.The application consumes more RAM.My mobile is not responding properly the way it use to.if can, make a new update.

    Hi Ellyin,
Thank you for your first post and a warm welcome to the Nokia discussion forums.
So just to clarify since you updated your internet browser, whenever you open this application its runs a lot slower?
There are a couple of things you can try. Firstly try clearing the cache. To do this  select Options > Other options > Clear the cache.
Also you can try a soft reset (Please remember to back up your phone) by typing *#7780# and then giving it a try. If not then you could try a hard reset by typing *#7370# (Please remember to back up your phone first!!!)
Furthermore you could also make sure your firmware for the phone is the latest. You can check this by connecting your phone to Ovi suite and checking the phone is on the latest update.
Hopefully one of the above solutions should get you browsing happily again!
Let me know if any of the above helps.
    Regards

  • Few apps problem after 10.3.1.1565 update.

#1 SMS app have problems with displaying. When going into that app system always go thru bb hub and so black background from options to lower battery consumption does not work.
    #2 BBM
     - Problem with vertical displaying. When keyboard is active to write a msg it overlaps written text window preventing user from seeing what he wrote. Also there is a problem with showing latest msg in a chat during writing msg in both modes (horizontal and vertical)
     - When running BBM app thru a hub its possible to switch it into horizontal mode. When accessing it from 'desktop' it's impossible to switch BBM into horizontal position (was that way in previous version too).
#3 Clock - modes of the app were removed from bottom of the screen. Now to switch between alarm clock, timer and other its necessary to open side menu therefor i'm forced to make more work to get into designed mode at the time needed. Make it the way it was in previous version! Also timer clock looks awful...
#4 Assistant - What the hell is that? Why does it look like windows phone and how the hell turn it off?!
Last but probably not least why there was addes some stupid 'home screen' desktop? Its pointless and useless to have it! Its just old block screen without password block. Another thing to dispose of or atleast make an option to disable it!
    - edit-
I did forgot about the amazon appstore. Why the hell i'm forced to have some android appstore on my phone and I can't remove that thing from the desktop?

For BBM, check BBWorld to make sure you have the latest version.
For SMS, the dark background is just in the individual conversations, not in the Hub itself
For Clock, that's just the way it is now.
For Assistant, you don't have to use it. It's a voice/text search assistant. Use it if you want, don't use it if you don't want. Up to you.
Home screen desktop: Go to main Settings >Display. At the very top disable "Show Wallpaper When All Apps Are Closed.
You have the Amazon app store so you can get apps, many of which are not available in BBWorld. Don't use it if you don't want to. Seems BlackBerry can't win--some complain for lack of apps, others complain because apps have been added.

  • I/O problems after installing latest 10.5.2 update

Since the last 10.5.2 update, when I close the lid on my 15 inch MacBook Pro, it goes into sleep mode, even though I have an external keyboard, mouse and LCD monitored plugged in. Before the latest update, I used to be able to close the lid and work using external monitor, keyboard and mouse.
    Help appreciated

I closed Acrobat, then closed other apps, then re-opened the PDF in Acrobat. Seems to be ok now.

  • Problems after 10.3.1.1779 update

    Hi,
Recently updated the software on my BlackBerry Q5 to 10.3.1.1779. Software starts functioning automatically. Phone dials numbers, whatsapp starts sending files and the phone sort of starts operating itself without me touching the screen. Almost caused a major emabarrasment and cost me my job. I love this phone but post the recent software update this 'ghost operation' of the software has got me thinking. Please help.
    Cheers!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. If this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works then try holding the volume up/down keys until the device fully shuts down, then wait 5 minutes, then power up normally.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Otherwise, you may want to consider a clean OS reload and/or update to an even newer version. The suggested methods are LINK for those OS levels your carrier has approved, or AutoLoader for those OS levels your carrier may has yet to approve.
    Good luck!
