Calendar Sync Problem: Cannot write to outlook calendar using DM

All syncing works fine between my DM version 6.0.1.18 and my Blackberry Bold 9700, EXCEPT that I cannot sync entries FROM my device calendar to Outlook 2007... The other way works. BB software is version 5.0.0.593 and it is BIS not BES.
I have tried renaming/deleting Intellisync folder; the configuration on the DM is set to TWO-WAY. I have also reset the configuration on the DM. Every time I want to sync a new calendar entry on my Device, the message box says that it's reading the device entries and then processing them - no problem. Then it starts reading my Outlook entries, no problem. Then it processes Device entries again and highlights entries that need conflict resolution. After inputing required conflict treatment, I get the Confirm Calendar Edits window. So far great! I press Accept, and then get the Processing Device Calendar again...after it gets to the end, a new window appears and when it gets to record X I get the dreaded popup message "Operation terminated unexpectedly" error. If I delete the offending entry on my BB Device, the error disappears. However, until this problem is solved, I effectively only have one way calendar syncing: From Outlook to Device.

Does the error occur when you synchronize your Contacts or just the Calendar?
Delete the Intellisync folder from your computer:
If you
are using Microsoft Windows® XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\<User
Folder>\Application Data\Research In
Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync.
If you
are using Microsoft Windows Vista™, go to C:\Users\<User
Name>\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync.
If you still get the error , enable advanced logging as shown in KB01451 and look delete the Calendar entry which could be the cause of the error.
Let me know how you make out.

Connect & select iPhone in iTunes Sudebar (iTunes > View > Show Sidebar), in Music tap (right pane top), select Sync Music and the music you want on iPhone then click Apply button (bottom right).

AT300 - cannot write to SD card using 3rd party App

I'm using the tablet AT300 on Android ICS and I'm a developer.
There is a bug with the sdcard : we cannot write into it (read access only).
This bug is from Android (we cannot write into the "sd card2" and the internal storage is the "sdcard").
For example, download an application like "Astro" and try to add a folder into your SD card: you can't.
But with the file manager of Toshiba, you can do it !
How ? Any special autorisation ?
In my application, I'm using :
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_ST ORAGE" />
and
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORA GE" />
like your file manager, but for me, when I install it I got :
Not granting permission android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORAGE to package com.idtgv.kiosk.androidapp (protectionLevel=3 flags=0x8be46)
Some manufacturer make a patch for this problem (like I do if I root my Tablet but I don't want), anything like that for Toshiba ?

Did you try to format the SD card using the exFAT format?
Do that and use exFAT.
The Toshiba file manager handles any SD card format therefore youve got no problems using the Toshiba file manager

Sync Problem with 4.7 & Outlook 2003 Calendar

I have found that I get an error whenever I try to synchronize my Calendar after I have added a meeting with the work "Gyro" in the subject. I have a filter now to eliminate those calendar items, but I would like to report this to RIM. Anyone know how I can report this problem without subscribing to service?

Photo Sync problem - Cannot read or write to disk?

Initial sync of my iPad. Photos seemed to download from iPhoto. Space indicated that entire photo library had been copied to iPad. when I go to look for the pictures on the iPad, the screen message is that no photos exist. Back on the iMac, a notice said that the: "The iPad XXX iPad cannot be synced. The disk cannot be read to or written from."
Th sync of my music library had no such problems. What am I doing wrong....all is fine except the photos sync.

A common resolution is that one or more of the images being synced is corrupt / unreadable.

Sync problems between iPhone and Outlook (MS Exchange)

Hi all, I have a problem with my iPhone. I have an MS Exchange e-mail account setup on it and whenever I get an e-mail it goes on both the phone and Outlook however when I delete something from Outlook it does not do the same on the iPhone. On the other hand if I delete something on the iPhone it does reflect on Outlook without problems. So its not that there is no sync, the problem seems to be one side only....
Any ideas?

i use outlook for my work email, but my personal email is in gmail. besides work email, i do not use outlook at all.
i get my work email on my iPhone, but i do not sync calendars and contacts as i have to use an imap connection for work, and this does not allow for calendar or contact syncing.
i have seen a gmail/outlook sync tool, but i am afraid i do not use it so i can not offer any help with it.

Sync Problems from Iphone to Outlook, but not vice versa

Since upgrading to 2.0 (and as of today 2.0.1) my Outlook 2003 Calendar syncs appts to my IPhone, but appts entered on my iphone dont show up in Outlook. Contacts, however, will sync both ways. Any help is appreciated.

I assume you are syncing cal's through iTunes. While I am not sure how to solve your problem, I'd recommend using Google Exchange to sync your contacts. It works in real time and uses your gmail credentials to do so.

IPod Touch sync problem with MS Office Outlook Contacts

Having successfully syncd complete MS Ofice Outlook Contacts to my new IPod Touch, I am finding that subsequent changes to both IPod and Outlook Contacts are not sycning. On the other hand Calendar is working perfectly!

I have set up iTune to sync my Outlook calendar and contacts, with "replace items on iPod with Outlook" option checked. When I connect my iPod, the status bar says it is syncing with Calendar and Contacts. But nothing is changed if I open my contacts/calendar on my iPod. Any idea?

My contacts and calendar from outlook sync perfectly to my ipad2 and iphone4 but when I add a calendar event or a contact on my ipad it does not update either my outlook or my iphone. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

Hello, check out my reply in detail (the long answer) and see that you're following similar steps, but also for your particular issue, check my answer where I talk about the changed Outlook settings. Your items maybe "hidden" because like mine, the Outlook settings changed erroneously.

IPod nano sync problem "Cannot be synced,the required disc cannot be found"

I keep getting this error message when I try to sync music on my nano. It happened before so I took my nano to a Mac store where they "restored" (erased), it. Then I had to remove all iTunes files from my pc and re-install, which I did. I was able to sync one time right after that, but now that I uploaded more music I suddenly can't sync anymore. I have removed and reinstalled iTunes once again, but no success. I'm also not able to "restore ipod" from my pc, it just gets stuck in the process. On one attempt to sync I got an additional error message saying "iPod needs to be formatted for Windows, would you like to format/restore now?" I didn't try it, now I can't get that message to pop-up anymore. I've never used my iPod with anything but my pc, so not sure why it wouldn't be formatted all of the sudden. Please advise.

I am suddently having the same problem with a similar message. I've tried syncing to both my nano and my suffle and I get the message "Cannot be synced, the required disc space is not sufficient. I've emptied both appliances and still get that message when I try to sync. Even something as small as a single song.

FileWriter Problem, cannot write a file larger than 8K

I am a new Java developer and now, I am facing a problem regarding the error 500. I try to grab records from a table with a date as a constraint. There are two servlets involed: a) saveRecord and b) getRecord. Then, the result will be post back to a JSP page. It didn't work when the records in database growing bigger ( > 100 000 records) but works nice while the records are still in a small quantities ( < 20 000 records). It seems that no record can be inserted into the file and the JSP page becomes blank. When I opened the csv file, I found a message"Error 500:" inside it.

I am amatuer in Java Programming, so I don't know how to implement serializable interface but I will look through it.
However, as I mention before, the code run perfectly if there are not much records un the table. But once there are more and more table added in (> 1000 000 records) in the table, it becomes unstable - sometime it works but most of the time it doesn't. So, I didn't find any different event I replaced the code with String date = "=2000-01-01".

I was referred to this forum by the Outlook team who thought you may be able to help.
I am getting the above error periodically on my Outlook 2010 at work.
I have a few email accounts defined on this and there appears to be no particular event that triggers the error message which regularly occurs every 10 to 15 minutes.
I have looked at other posts for this which suggest clearing the cache and emptying the FORMS folder which I have done but the problem just keeps reoccuring as usual.
The same file keeps appearing in the Forms folder called OUTLOOK.GL1 where GL1 is the name I gave to the email account that is on an MS Exchange server.
The file contains only 4 text charachters.
Now I havent added any customs forms at all, and certainly not in the last few days since this error has been appearing.
I have no idea where to look for any form definitions or where any forms might be required.
Can anyone offer some suggestions as to how I can go about solving this as clicking ok to this error message 6 times every 10 minutes is driving me nuts.
