Calendar synch time difference issue

When I synch between my Windows VIsta Calendar and my Blackberry Curve 9300, appointments synching from my Windows Calendar appear on my Blackberry two hours earlier yet both calendars are set to GMT,
Can anyone help me to solve this issue?
Many thanks
Dan

Hello corndoll and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Have you checked the Time Zone setting in your Microsoft® Outlook® to ensure it's set to the same as your device and computer?
When you create a new appointment in Outlook, is the Time Zone being used the correct one?
In your Device, when you go to create a new appointment, is the proper TIme Zone being displayed when creating the appointment?
Thanks!

  • BW System with 2 factory calenders - Time Difference - Issue

I have 2 source systems for our BI Implementation, which inturn maintains 2 factory calenders---> IN and KR.
I am creating 2 reports based 2 source systems (using different factory calender).
the reports need to calculate the time diff between 2 dates(D1, D2) and 2 times(T1 and T2) into hours based on factory calender. Report 1 based on IN calender and Report 2 based on KR Calender.
But Both the reports are giving the same time difference, even though the No. of working days are different for each factory calender.
    For Eg : D1 - 2007.12.01; D1 - 2007.12.31; T1 - 00:00:00; T2 - 00:00:00
I have used the FM :  SALP_SM_CALC_TIME_DIFFERENCE, to calculate the time diff.
In report 1 the time diff = 30 days ( since 1 holiday in Dec month based on IN Calender)
In report 2 the time diff should be 28 days ( since 3 holidays in Dec month based on KR Calender ), but its also giving 30 days as timediff.
    Plz provide the solution.
    Thanks

  • Time difference issue - need a better way

    Hi
I need to display the difference in time - every day for different time ranges,
Example 1-2 pm, 4-5 pm, 7-8 pm. And I need the time difference in 2 dates in the past week for each of these ranges everyday.
    example
    Date Diff Range
    01/01/2007 00:01 1-2pm
    01/02/2007 00:03
    01/03/2007 00:10
    01/04/2007 00:05
    01/05/2007 00:23
    01/01/2007 00:10 4-5pm
    01/02/2007 00:13
    01/03/2007 00:11
    01/04/2007 00:15
    01/05/2007 00:23
    01/01/2007 01:10 7-8pm
    01/02/2007 00:13
    01/03/2007 00:10
    01/04/2007 00:11
    01/05/2007 00:21
One way to achieve this is to have multiple unions for each day and each time range.
    Example:
    select
    from
    where dt_tm between
    to_date(to_char((sysdate-5),'mm/dd/yyyy')||' 13:00','mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')and
    to_date(to_char((sysdate-5),'mm/dd/yyyy')||' 14:00','mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
    union
    select
    from
    where dt_tm between
    to_date(to_char((sysdate-5),'mm/dd/yyyy')||' 16:00','mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')and
    to_date(to_char((sysdate-5),'mm/dd/yyyy')||' 17:00','mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
    union
    select
    from
    where dt_tm between
    to_date(to_char((sysdate-5),'mm/dd/yyyy')||' 19:00','mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')and
    to_date(to_char((sysdate-5),'mm/dd/yyyy')||' 20:00','mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
This will give me the required information for only one day - and that is for sysdate-5.
I will have same nyumber of unions for each day.
Is there a better way to accomplish the same?
    Any help appreciated.
    Thx!

  • Time difference issue between actual and system internal time..

    Hi,
We have PCCE v9.0.3 running in our network.
We see time difference of mor than 30 minutes between CUIC reports and SQL quries output for the calls.
I checked system time for all components along with NTP source, all good. However the RTTEST and PROCMON utilities STATUS command output shows the local time is behind actual time.
I have attached the snapshot of this.
    Thanks!

    Not exactly true:
User SYS is the owner of the data dictionary. In fact, SYS is the owner of the entrire structure of the database. The datadictionary is stored in the SYS-schema (a user = a schema)
SYSTEM is an account with many privileges and is used as an administrator account. SYSTEM owns some objects, but not the data dictionary
The tablespace SYSTEM is the tablespace in which the SYS schema (and SYSTEM schema as well) is stored. The names of the SYSTEM account and SYSTEM tablespace have nothing to do with each other, not as far as I know anyway

  • IPhone Calendar Appointment time syncing issue

I have noticed lately that appointments I enter into my iCal on my Desktop when synced with my iPhone are showing up an hour later. For example: If I made an appointment from 9AM to 10AM it will (when synced) show up on my iPhone 10AM to 11AM. I am not sure if it has to do with the latest iPhone update (1.1.3) or with Leopard. Has anyone had this issue? Any thoughts on how to resolve it? Thanks.

One thing to check out is on your iphone go to settings > general > date and time.
In date and time, make sure your time zone is set correctly.
If the time zone is set correctly, turn time zone support off.
Then make sure your date and time is set correctly.
Power off the iphone by holding down the power button on the top of the iphone until you see the slide to power off.
Now power the iphone back on.
Connect the iphone to the computer and sync.
    Hope this helps.

  • Calendar and time zone issue

When i get an invite from our west coast office for meeting at 1 pm west coast time and i accept here in east coast time it ends up at 1 pm east coast time instead of adjusting for the three hour difference.  any suggestions?

Me too with the same problem. If I move to a different time period (say from Week to Day) after changing the displayed time zone, it does refresh.

  • HT4910 Calendar event time differences

Although the time on all of my devices is set at Eastern Standard Time, when my calendar syncs, it changes the time on the device not created on to Pacific time. If I change on that device, it takes 3 hours off of my other device.  Help??

Thank you for your response. I have checked the time zone between the computers and the iPhone settings many, many times. They agree (the iPhone says "Luxembourg" and the control panel says "GMT + 1:00" which is basically the same thing). Someone recommended trying to sync from an application other than Outlook (like Thunderbird) which is not platform specific (since there can be conflicts between PC and Apple hardware/software). But I don't see where there is any option in the iTunes application to utilize any other application but Outlook for syncing the calendar. Is this correct information?

  • I am having multiple issues with syncing my iphone calendar and outlook There are often 1 hour time differences in the entries on the 2 devices and sometimes events that have been amended are not updated on iphone I mostly enter items on my laptop

I am having multiple issues with syncing my iphone calendar and outlook calendar on my laptop
I mostly enter the original items on my laptop
There are often 1 hour time differences in the entries on the 2 devices and sometimes events that have been amended are not updated on iphone

This sounds like an error in Time Zone support. The time zone needs to be the same in Outlook as well as the phone.

  • Calendar and MobileMe Synch Time Problem

    Hello
I am having a problem with Calendar when it synchs with MobileMe all times are 1 houur forward. For exmaple, the event time in MobileMe is 9am but when it synchs with Calendar the time is 10am.
    The setting are:
    MobileMe: UTC +00 London
iPhone: Time Zone Support is On and London Time Zone
    Does anyone have any advice?
    Thank you

    Hello ma1972;
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
I am having a problem with Calendar when it synchs with MobileMe all times are 1 houur forward. For exmaple, the event time in MobileMe is 9am but when it synchs with Calendar the time is 10am.
I believe that this issue is due to the Daylight Saving Time change.
    MobileMe: UTC +00 London
This option is correct but can't deal with that Daylight Saving Time change.
iPhone: Time Zone Support is On and London Time Zone
The iPhone User Guide states, +"When Time Zone Support is on, Calendar displays event dates and times in the time zone of the city you selected. When Time Zone Support is off, Calendar displays events in the time zone of your current location as determined by the network time."+
    Does anyone have any advice?
First, set the option in 'General > Date & Time' to 'Set Automatically'. Then set the option in 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' to 'Time Zone Support On' and 'London Time Zone'.
If that doesn't work then use 'Brute-Force' and change MobileMe to UTC +1:00.

  • Calendar time difference

Hi, I have a problem, when I sync my Nokia 6300 with my Outlook calendar the appointment time gets changed on my phone to an hour earlier somehow. It has only recently started doing this, it was fine before. I would appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks

check to see that both your computer and your phone are set in your correct time zone. If they are not the same the phone could be trying to make up for the time difference by altering the alarm times by an hour.
You do not say where you are so I cannot give you your exact time zone.
Have you removed your battery from your phone recently and had to reset the time perhaps? This might have caused the problem

  • Calendar Event Invites - Time Zone Issue

    Hi all!
I just switched back to BlackBerry from iPhone, and love everything about it so far except one thing:  time zone issues on calendar invites.
My work uses an OS X hosted CalDAV server, and I was able to sync my existing calendars to it without issue.
    My time zone:  Eastern
    My coworkers timezone:  Central
The Issue:   I received an invite from a coworker, and on my Mac, it shows at 1PM Eastern, as it should.  The invite was sent for 12PM Central.  This same invite appears on my BlackBerry at 7AM Eastern.
    Testing completed:
I added an invite on my BlackBerry for 6AM Eastern as a test, and it appeared on my Mac at the correct time without issue.
I added an event on another day from my Mac, and it synced to my BlackBerry without issue.
So it seems that my issue only exists when recieving event invites from others, possibly in different time zones.
My Mac and BlackBerry are both set to Eastern time.
My coworkers Mac and iPhone are set for Central time.
I looked all through the BB settings and cannot find anything that would account for this odd behavior.
I tried a battery pull - same results.
I am on the latest OS available for a Q10:  10.2.1.2976
Can anyone help with this?  I would hate to have to go back to iOS for one issue like this, however, an accurate and reliable calendar is critical to my work.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Try this, for a test.
Set your Q10 to GMT Timezone.
Open the calendar, your invtes should be ~5 hours ahead.
Set your TZ back to Eastern.
Check your specific event mentioned above which was at 7am Eastern.
    Is it correct now?

  • New Time Zone Issue with MobileMe Calendar Upgrade

I'm having strange things happen with sending/receiving "invitations" to people in other time zones.
Prior to this MobileMe calendar upgrade, sending/receiving invitations worked fine. I would schedule an event (obviously in my time zone), and if I invite a friend in a different time zone, the event would show up on her Google Calendar at the proper time. Between iCal and Google Calendar, the time zone translation was working properly. Likewise, when she scheduled an event and sent me an invitation, the event showed up in iCal at the proper time for me.
But now, after simply upgrading MobileMe calendar, events from me to her show up at the wrong time! It's as if the time zone translation is no longer occurring. Oddly, events that she sends to me still work correctly.
I have "Turn on time zone support" enabled in iCal, MobileMe calendar, and on the iPhone.
So this very nice feature that was working previously seems to have broken with the MobileMe calendar upgrade.
Has anyone else seen this, or (hopefully) solved it?
    Thanks!
    Jim

  • Calendar time difference after synchronize

I have the 6085 and the 7.1 Suite for Vista.  When I synchronize my calendar, the time on the phone is 5 hours earlier than on the calendar.  Anybody know how to remedy that?

I have read this thread and here is my problem with a 5300
    PROBLEM
When meetings/appointments are synchronized from Outlook to the cell phone the time advances [decreased] by one hour.
    Thing I have tried
    1) Disabling the PC daylight saving auto update. The meetings/appointment moved up by two hours
    2) I have not turned off the cell phone auto update option [I would set time rather that the service provider]
Nokia PC Suite Version; 6.8.xx downloaded and installed. May14, 2008
    PC Operating System: XP pro
    Service Provider: T-Mobil
PC and cell phone show same time. Cell phone time from service provider, currently on daylight saving time.

  • Help! My calendar synch no longer works!

I use my work PC to synch my calendar + contacts, and my home Mac to synch music/videos with my iPhone. I typically synch my calendar with my phone every other day, and maybe once a week with my Mac.
Ever since I upgraded my iphone to the new Apple firmware update via my work PC, my calendar synch has stopped working!
    I tried the usual steps:
    1> Resetting synch history
2> Selected the option to "Replace iPhone calendar"
3> Deleted the backup entry AND reset synch history
None of these options seem to work anymore... The only change I now see is that my iPhone calendar is TOTALLY blank! At least, previously, it showed the old calendar entries without the new ones getting synched... Now, it's just a blank slate!!
Any suggestions / tips appreciated. The last time I had this issue several months ago, I had to do a hard reset/rebuild of my iPhone, and ended up losing all my settings. Hope there's a simpler fix than that!

Unbelievable, but true! My problem is resolved, after numerous experiments (reductio ad absurdum approach!)
Here's what worked for me... I create a dummy calendar entry in my (then blank) calendar on the iPhone. And then hit Synch in iTunes... Voila!! That did the trick, and my iPhone calendar now has all my Outlook entries.
Made an assumption that some MSFT developers might have joined the Apple dev team, and sure enough something as quirky as this workaround did do the trick
