Calendar Theme Not Picking Up Events

I have a "today" calendar theme that is now not picking up all events. I understand that the theme does not pickup "all day" events. I am speaking about the events with times. My other themes will pick them up, but not this particular one. So, for example, my Blackberry with this theme shows events taking place in about two weeks, but not any current ones. Any suggestions. Hi and welcome to the forums!
There are a large number of themes with the Today previews. If your other themes are picking up the correct info, I would
say the device data and database are fine. If that assumption is correct, I would see the theme builder.

Photos. They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. Copied them (hours and hours) to external hard drive. They are now in alphabetical order (19,000 of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order-and have been taken with different cameras- help!!!!!!

They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. There are 19,000+ of them, some rescued from a pc crash- which I used the nifty iPhoto to put back into date order.
I want to take them all off my laptop, now............as I need to use it for WORK!!
Copied them (hours and hours) to another external hard drive.
They are now in alphabetical order (all 19,000+ of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order. (-They have also been taken with different cameras over the years and some of the generic camera numbering remains.)
I have tried to copy them (only a few as an experiment) one event at a time, but that again "opens up" the Event "folder" and tips them out as individuals and therefore just lists image letters and numbers alphabetically.
How can I copy
the whole library still in "Events" to an external hard drive?
the folders/albums I have already made on to this hard drive?
and how can I add to this back up monthly, again keeping events and folders separate and updated?
Mac is so user friendly - there must be a way.........

UPDATE : I have re-installed from disk, various apps that were no longer functioning such as iLife, iWork etc. So, I now can access my photos again.
Also, I had to re-install all the software for my printer ( Stylus Pro 4880 ) and reset it so the printer is working again.
Photoshop CS4 won't open. I think I will have to get in touch with Adobe as basically, I guess they have a built-in "blocker" which prevents me from opening the app as the license is for only 1 user and having re-installed the OS, there are now, in effect, 2 users ( Me and Me 1, I think ).
So, having added on a new external HD, Time Machine has made a copy of most of the files, folders, apps etc onto the external HD. The internal HD is still nearly full ( 220 GBs out of 232 GBs ).
I am guessing the way to go now in order to free up space on the internal HD is to delete/trash older photos from my iPhoto library and hope that if needed, I will be able to access them on the external HD.
Am I correct ? Please advise before I do something I will regret.

Microsoft have not made Outlook for Mac compatible with iCloud. Microsoft does not support the industry standard CalDAV and CardDAV protocols iCloud uses. There's nothing you can do to make it work, except put pressure on MS to get up to date.

Calendar Widget Not Showing Upcoming Events

I've upgraded to the latest N900 firmware (pr1.2) and ever since I have had a problem with the calendar widget. All the events are contained in the calendar when I open it however they are not displayed on the desktop widget.
I've got events loaded for the month of June but for some reason these are not showing. Instead I have events showing for July, September and even December. I've tried removing all the entries and the re-adding them but this hasn't solved the problem. I also created another calendar and placed the entries in the new one, again this didn't work.
Does anybody have any idea how I can resolve this problem.

I have exactly the same problem with the Calendar Widget not showing all upcoming events. It will show events way in the future but skip events inbetween. I've tried all day with PC Suite 7.1 and Outlook 2007 and some freshly entered events come across for unknown reasons whilst others do not. No amount of changing local entries to synchronized ones, deleting all calendar info from the phone and re-syncing by USB cable or Bluetooth solves the problem.
It worked fine before and, as you say, corresponds with the recent n900 software update.
I SINCERELY HOPE NOKIA READ THESE BULLETIN BOARDS.
Also, why isn't there a fully compatible PC Suite or Ovi Suite for the n900? I have a PC running Windows 7 and Nokia have told me in the past that they do not have a fully functional, compatible PC/Ovi Suite for Windows 7 and the n900.

How to un-sync a calendar and NOT delete ANY events? Please help!

I seem to be the only one with this problem. I search all over and can't find information for what I want to do, everyone wants to do the opposite.
So basically I had a job and an iphone. I used my calendar at work for personal events and so forth. I synced the calendar on my work's exchange server to my iphone. Then I lost my job. My password no longer works, so sync fails and it keeps asking for my password and draining my battery. I try to cancel sync, and the iphone threatens to delete all my events. I don't want to delete my events, i just don't want it to keep trying to connect to my old job. How can I keep all my calendar events and not get nagged every 10 seconds to enter a password?
I do not have outlook on my home computer either.

OK, so i bit the bullet and canceled my sync to my calendar at my old work.
My old calendar events are now gone. All of them. The stuff added through my outlook at my old work is gone. The personal stuff added on my iPhone directly is gone. The stuff added on my phone after it stopped syncing with my old work is gone. My calendar is COMPLETELY EMPTY now.
Can someone explain this to me?

Portal theme not picked up in WDA from UWL workflow item

Hi all,
A workflow task has been configured to execute an WDA application that has the following Application parameters set:
WDLIGHTSPEED                 (blank)
WDTHEMEROOT     Theme ID in the MIME repository
However, when a work item is generated and executed for the above application, the theme is not being picked up and defaults to the portal theme. Note that when the WDA is executed either as a portal iView or directly from ECC, the correct theme is picked up.
I have tried setting WDFORCEEXTERNALSTYLESHEET but it has not made a difference.
The following visualisation parameters have been set
APPLICATION     zwda_myapp
NAMESPACE      SAP
SYSTEM_ALIAS     SAP_MSS
Any help is much appreciated.

IPhone 2.1 Calendar does not save new event

Recently, my 3G will not save a new calendar entry. I enter all info, save it, hit done and the "dot" apears on the caledar day... then disappears. Also, all my Outlook Calendar events, which have sinc'd automatically in the past are now gone and there are no events on my phone calendar whatsoever. I have not changed any settings.

From the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ Calendar, swipe down from the top to see the Options bar. Make sure each of the calendars, displayed in the top left, have a check mark in them. If a check mark is not showing, the calendar items will be hidden. Touch the calendar icon to add or remove the check mark.

Calendar will not Display my events

When I tried to put my calendar events onto the icloud it got stuck "moving events"
Following the pointers in other discussions I turned the iCloud preferences for
Calendar and Reminders off.
While the error message is now gone, so are all of my appointments.
There was a "holiday" calendar left.
I tried resoring my calendars from time machine several times
going further and further back into history to before I tried joining icloud.
Now the "holiday" calendar is also gone.
Downloading the entire ~/LIbrary/Calendars from Time Machine didn't accomplish anything.
However, I do find a ton of events.
In ~/Library/Calendars/<name>calendar/Events
There are a ton of .ics files. Looking at them in the Finder shows an icon with the name of the event.
I still have the iCloud Calendar and Reminders Preferences turned off
How do I get Calendar to read these files?

Well....
If you find all the .ics files in ~/Library/Calendars/Events
And then copy them out of ~/Library
You can import them back into Calendar .... One .... At ..... A ..... Time ......

IPhone calendar does not sync new events and appointments from Outlook

iTunes 9.2.0.61/iPhone 4.0.1 - does not sync newly added events and appointments! Previously added stuff is all there, new stuff added in Outlook 2007 just doesn't show up. I've gone back to my old Palm T|X which syncs all this stuff with no problem, so it's not an Outlook bug.
It looks like Apple has put a team of junior programmers on the Calendar app - I've seen leap-year bugs (still there), events showing up on the wrong day (still there), and I'm still waiting for the "week at a glance" view. Calendar is SO important for business use that top level "gray beard" engineers need to be on this. (Question for Apple's calendar developers: what's Zeller's Congruence? It they haven't heard of it they have no business doing calendar programming.)

Spontaneously started syncing again - no idea why now, nor why it failed for so long. Related to the alarm bug? Who knows...

Portal theme not picked for SAP Web Dynpro Iview

Hi,
We have used light framework page for our portal and all the iviews display the content within the iviews in the same set of colors (blue for buttons). However, for a WD java content, I have created an SAP Web Dynpro iView and the contents displayed here appear in the SAP colors without picking those set for the portal.
The same application parameters display the portal colors when we use the Web Dynpro Proxy iview.
Any idea how I can make the SAP Web Dynpro iView appear like the other portal iviews?
Note: The stylesheet property for the iview is already entered (ur), and I have also set the 'Supply Portal stylesheet' property to 'Yes'.
Please provide your inputs.

In ABAP Webdynpro for similar problem we used WDFORCEEXTERNAL Sheet property of WDA.
The Web Dynpro framework automatically compares the versions of the portal and Web Dynpro
for ABAP style sheets. If the Web Dynpro for ABAP has a newer version, the WDA style sheet is used. This avoids unattractive rendering and JavaScript errors.You can deactivate this behavior again using the WDFORCEEXTERNALSTYLESHEET application parameter of WDA.See also SAP Notes 1033496 .
If you use the stylesheet of the portal to display the application, the rendering may not appear correctly and Javascript errors can occur(If portal style sheet is lower than WD).
Though Iam not familiar with WD java , the property force portal style sheet in WD java application should be enough to make WD accept portal theme.

Content Query on Calendar does not show recurring events

There are three views that come with a Calendar list. One is the 'Calendar', second is 'All Events' and the other is the 'Current Events'. The current events is a cool view because it expands out items that have a recurrence (such as yearly). It also shows only the events that happen today or in the future by filtering out past items.
I have a content query web part that looks to this calendar which is maintained by the HR area. The calendar is a holiday schedule for the next 3 years or so. I can not seem to get the recurring events to expand out like they do with the 'Current Events' view. If I choose 'All Events' on the list then it will show only our recurring holidays and the holidays that can't be set up as recurring holidays. The content query web part appears to show only the 'All Events' view.
Is there a way to make the content query web part use the 'Current Events' view? I know the view option is there when the list resides on the same site, but in that case it uses a 'List View' web part instead of the content query web part.

I'm not sure the MOSS option will work for me for a couple of reasons. First, it seems this would require that the list reside on the parent site and the subsite be the one to use CQWP. I need to have the list maintained on our HR site where HR people have permissions to modify, and then displayed on the parent site where HR folks don't have permissions to modify. Also, I have at least two different columns that I really need to display and I haven't found a way to keep a link between two fields in the master list, unless I maybe use a calculated field.
The CSS modification may be a solution but I have not modified webparts via css. I really haven't done many modifications to the css anyway but I'm not afraid to try it out on my test system. I have looked through the Calendar.css and core.css and I don't find anything with ItemStyles in it. I have even done a search on the entire web server extensions folder and I still have not found ItemStyles. Will you please let me know where to find ItemStyles.xsl?
I found a codeplex project that might help with this. I could at least display two columns. However, it doesn't say anything about building out recurrence items so I'm not sure if it will fix my problem. I'll post my findings once I try it out.

Latest calendar update not sync all events???

I just tonight had an update appear on my iPhone for Calendar and like all apps, I updated. Immediately I got a notice that my calendar was set to remove old items past a month (which I NEVER set - my calendar is always syncing with my home and offices calendars (I have over a dozen) and I NEVER want anything removed. The message on the screen said to go change this in Settings to "all Events" and then reboot the phone. I did this.
Now all my calendar events are gone! I am terrified this will wipe my events on my computers at home and work that this was syncing to. Anyone know what the heck is going on?
I have not yet upgraded to iOS 8 because I wait until all these sorts of bugs are worked out, but when the system tells me I should update an App I believe it…..

Calendar does not sync ALL events

Using Outlook 2007.
Some events do not sync to the iPhone. I cannot see the difference between those that do sync and those that don't.
Has anyone else seen this? Any fix?
