Calendars - aligning pictures within date cells

When inserting pictures on certain dates ie on October 1st, normally you can double click the picture to align it properly within the date cell. With some pictures, you double click on the picture on that date but you don't get the popup window to customise the alignment. From the moment you try to align one picture and it doesn't work, then the following issues begin: you can't remove this picture at all - a grey box remains permenantly on that date cell. Also the calendar is bound to crash if you click the Gallery to look for more pictures and then click back the calendar you were working on, iphoto will loop indefinitely with message "Loading Calendar... ". Then you have to close iPhoto and when you go back in iPhoto, the Calendar has disappeared. You have to start over! It happened to me 6 times.

Hitting detele or dragging a pic to a different cell normally works but not once you start getting the problem. Dragging the problematic pic to other cells simply leaves a grey cell behind and puts the pic on the new cell. And if you try dragging to a new then same process happens. I was trying dates 1 October and 18 October. But then i played around with more dates and there were problems too. I suspect the problem is related not with the date but with certain pictures. I made a new calendar, didn't insert any pictures apart from that particular pic and tried to align it - still it wouldn't let me. That pic was taken with an older Nikon Coolpix 4500 while the ones that do work are taken with a Canon EOS 350D (digital rebel xt).
Any other clues?

I'm assuming it's trying to tell me I have an older iTunes Library, but don't know that.  Geez, maybe people over 60 shouldn't have iPhones, iTunes just bafles me.

  • ADF calendar date cell  background color change

    Hi,
    I am new to jdeveloper / ADF.
    I coded per the below calender sample in my jdeveloper and it runs fine.
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/calendar-091799.html
    The current date cell shows in yellow color background. How/where can I change that color.
    Also the small calendar look up for the start/end date-time setting allows the user set the start/end time upto HH/MIN/seconds. How can I remove the seconds
    Thanks for all your help.

    You can create a new skin for your application and use the following selector which we deliver..
    .AFCalendarTodayBackground:alias
    background-color: blue;
    ALternatively, you can use the specific selector
    af|calendar af|calendar::day-of-week:today {
    background-color: blue;
    You can also see other ways of customizing your look and feel of the calendar component by referencing the hosted demo for skinning the calendar component.

  • Uploading pictures onto calendar at a defined dat

    how would i upload a picture onto the calendar at a specific date.
    ex birthday and the actual picture of the person

    PSA SE has a Calendar View.The pictures shot at a particular date are shown associated with that date in the Calendar View.When the pictures are imported into SE they automatically get associated with the date in Calendar and are shown in the Calendar View.
    If you have a picture of a person shot on his Bday, it will be shown in the Calendar view against that date.Hope this helps.

  • How can I make selectable data within a cell?

    Within numbers I would like to create a selectable item list from which I can select one item for the cell?  In excell I can create a pull down within the cell, does this function exist within numbers?

    DH,
    Yes, in Numbers the Format is called "Pop-up menu".
    Download the Numbers User Guide from the Help Menu and read about Cell Formats.

  • Calendar Functionality for a date field in HTML of  a ITS service

    Hi
    I am working with SRM EBP module we want to add date help(with calendar function) to existign date fields in Shopping cart and PO screens . I found some HTML and Javascripts in SYSTEM and BBPGLOBAL services (named as calendar)but not sure which ones to use if anyone used date functionality or even have access to Standard SAP ITS screens that already have date field with calendar fuctionality can you help???????????????
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi
    Let me first thank you for the quick response and timely help you provided calendar popup works great but one minor issue i am not able to click on the date entry and bring the field back into the field not sure if this funcitonality is in show_calendar.
    I would really appreciate if you get time to look at below i am almost there with your help......thanks again
    Here are the steps I did
    I have a HTML page  SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS screen 300 in SRM module , I created a new HTML page (zcalendar.html) in the same internet service BBPSC01 as suggested and I included in my HTML page SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS screen 300 and also I added below code to add a icon and a href call to the show_calendar function.
    Code works great I get the popup but when I double click on the date it is not selecting the date into the field back .
    Any thoughts??????

  • Can I draw within a cell in Numbers on iPad?

    Hello
    I haven't bought the app yet.  But an important feature for me for my work, would be the ability to draw (handwrite) within a cell in Numbers.
    Could anyone please tell me if this is possible?
    Many thanks.
    Gary

    No, you can't handwrite within a cell. All data entry is via keyboard interfaces.

  • Line Feed within the cell in .CSV output file

    Hello Experts,
    I have created one z-report, and the output of the report is in .CSV file format separated by 'semi-colon' as separator.
    Their is one column "Product" in which data is in the format
    <b>"[Product1][Product2][Product3][Product4]"</b>
    My code looks something like this:
    LOOP AT product_new INTO wa_product.
      CONCATENATE Prod_str
                  wa_product-tdline
             INTO prod_str.
    ENDLOOP.
    Our requirment is to insert Line-feed between each product entries within the cell.Line-Feed between each product within the cell is possible with ALT+ENTER key
    The output required is
    "[Product1](ALT+ENTER)
    [Product2](ALT+ENTER)
    [Product3](ALT+ENTER)
    [Product4]"
    I would appreciate if anybody can help me to solve this.. (urgent)
    Thanx.

    Hi
    Go thru these links
    Regarding line feed
    add line feed to string
    When you concatenate try using the abap char utility for newline as well.
    i.e CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE.
    LOOP AT product_new INTO wa_product.
    CONCATENATE Prod_str
    wa_product-tdline
    CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE.
    INTO prod_str.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Edit JTable Date Cell, press Enter, the Time Cell changes to GMT time!

    Has anyone seen this strange behavior? I try to edit a Date Cell in JTable (orig. value 10/02/2000) and change it to (10/03/2000), I press Enter. But, the value of my Time Cell in the next column, same row which I never edited (orig. value 00:05:00) changes to approximately my system time in GMT (16:28:48).
    This is an excerpt from my TableModel which get called from setValueAt():1734 javax.swing.JTable, JTable.java. In the code below, the debug statement prints out:
    row, col = 0,0
    Value in SubTableModel = 10-02-2000 16:28:48
    Value should be "10-02-2000" since I did not edit the time cell at all. And why is row and col both zero?
    public void setValueAt(Object value, int row, int col) {
    try {
    ((ITableCellAdapter)adapters.get(col)).setData(getRow(row),col);
    System.out.println("row, col = " + row + col);
    System.out.println("Value in SubTableModel = " + value.toString());
    ((ITableCellAdapter)adapters.get(col)).setValue(value);
    catch (PropertyVetoException badSet) {
    System.out.println("could not set value");
    fireTableCellUpdated(row,col);
    How can I force it to set the date cell's new value only and leave the time cell alone?
    I've also seen that sometimes my date entry gets lost, the old value still showing, what am I doing wrong? I've seen a bunch of bug parade listings about terminating edits within a JTable being buggy, is this related?
    Any help on this is most appreciated!

  • OnMouseDown buttons within JTable Cells?

    I have written an app that uses a custom renderer to enable me to put an image in a cell and attach a custom editor to that image so that when it is clicked it pops up a JPanel. Trouble is, once the user clicks the button and the JPanel appears the image that was within the cell disappears and the cell is empty. How do I switch the image once clicked and display it in the clicked cell.
    Thanks

    When you click on the cell the editor is invoked and will display the data based on the editor, not the renderer.
    So, I'm guessing that in addition to displaying the popup, your editor must be responsible for displaying the original image.

  • Excel sheet has modified data cells error - do you want to submit

    Using smartview in office 2007 I often get trapped in a loop where each time I modify any data on the excel sheet I get the error "Excel sheet has modified data cells. Do you want to submit the modified data cells before proceeding?". Regardless if I choose yes or no I basically have to start a new instance of excel to clear the error.
    For the most part I never use member select rather just type the members I want freehand in the excel workbook. Seems like the error arises after I insert or delete a row or column and then try to update the page.
    If I "reset" the connection it seems to help but not all the time.

    This may be the same issue as you are experiencing "When Trying to Copy Cells Between Excel Tabs Get Message "Excel Sheet has modified data cells do you want to submit the modified data?" [ID 1301092.1]"
    The document is on "My Oracle Support"

  • Is there a way to move multiple Calendar items from one date to another?

    Hello. I have far too many Calendar items every day in my iCal. Until I finally pare them down to a reasonable level, I need to "reschedule" all of my unfinished ToDo items and reminders, to another day, later in the week.
    There doesn't seem to be any "Select All" feature available.
    Is there a way to move multiple Calendar items from one date to another?
    Thanks in advance!

    Still no ideas? Apple, please come up with a fix. Thanks.

  • How to associate a fixed $ value to a date cell?

    I'm trying to keep track of payments made, according to date.
    I have one column where I enter dates.
    Can I associate these date cells to a fixed $ value, so that each time I enter a new date the SUM cell will automatically update?
    I hope so...
    Thanks!

    HI cp,
    By "associate these cells to a fixed $ value," I assume you mean that fixed value will be added to the sum as each date in sentered.
    Here are two examples, one showing the fixed amount in the adjacent column when the date (or anything) is entered in column A, the other showing only the total.
    Both use a second table to hold the fixed value, making it easy to edit, if necessary.
    Formulas:
    (Method 1)
    B2, and filled down to B10: =IF(LEN(A)>0,Fixed value :: A$2,"")
    LEN(A) returns the length (in character) of the entry in the cell in this row of column A. If anything is entered, the IF condition is TRUE, and IF returns the value in A2 of the smaller table. If nothing has been entered, the condition is FALSE, and IF returns a null string to the cell.
    B11: =SUM(B)
    Row 11 is a Footer row, and is not included in the cells to be summed.
    (Method 2)
    D11: =Fixed value :: A2*COUNTA($A)
    COUNTA counts the number of entries in column A of the Main table, then multiplies the fixed value in the small table by the result of the count and returns the result.
    This formula may be placed in any cell.
    (Both methods)
    The cell reference to Fixed Value::A2 (or Fixed Value::A$2) may be replaced with the actual value, and the second table eliminated, if desired.

    Barry
