Calendars gone from iphone

I recently did the update and my calendars have now disappeared from my phone?  Can anyone suggest what I need to do?  I also noticed my contacts are missing too?

Do you have them on iCloud? If so, then go to Settings>iCloud, scroll down to the bottom and click on Delete. Follow the prompts, and complete the deletion. Then sign back on. Your contacts and calendars from iCloud will download over Wifi within a few minutes.
Cheers,
GB

Its a easy fix,it will take too much time to type out all of the steps,
Check your email account. see if they are their, You can then import them on your DAV card, The best thing to is add them to icoud then they will be safe.
Apple support can talk you through it.

  • Calendar sync from iPhone fails when Powerbook calender is open.

I just updated my calendar on my iPhone, but the new dates didn't make it into my Powerbook Calendar even tho' iTunes thought the sync was complete. I tried another sync from iTunes with same ommission. I then closed my calendar on my Powerbook, started another sync, and the new dates were there when the sync completed and I re-opened my calendar on the laptop. I have all the latest- Mac OS 10.5.4 and iPhone 2.0.2. I never had to check the state l of my laptop applications before when syncing. What's going on?

I can't remember where I found this but it worked for me. To get appointments composed on the iPhone to sync with Outlook, the appointments must be recurring. So what I do now until Apple gets this problem fixed is make all of my appointments recurring with start and end date on the same day so they only show up once. Try it, it works for me.

This worked for me. Thanks so much! It's still a pain in the "you know what!" Make sure you do the following.....
    1. Repeat, Every Day, Save
    2. End Repeat, Enter Same Date as above, Save

Why does my new Iphone 4S sync without transferring calendar entry from phone to desktop using outlook?

Do you have Sync Calendars with Outlook selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?

  • How do I delete all calendar entries from iPhone 3G S

My iPhone calendar is out of sync with Outlook (2007, connected to an Exchange server). There are appointments no longer in Outlook that are still on the iPhone, and appointments with the wrong time on the iPhone. SO I want to remove all the calendar entries from the iPhone and then redownload everything from Outlook.
So how do I delete all the calendar items from the iPhone WITHOUT deleting them from Outlook or messing with my Outlook profile?

Thanks, Allan. Actually, I prefer to sync my calendar via iTunes because I refresh Outlook and sync via iTunes much more frequently than I fire up VPN to get directly to exchange. But I did use your tip the other way - I turn ON Exchange Calendars to blow away my current iPhone content, then turned it back off to delete the Exchange content. That left me with an empty iPhone calendar that I could then load via iTunes sync.

  • Move calendar info FROM iphone TO windows calendar

Apologies if this has been answered. I've spent ages googling and searching here, but I can't seem to find an exact answer.
Although I may be the exception to the rule:
    1. I do not want all of my windows mail contacts in my iphone (2nd gen). Therefore those have been input manually.
I did take the time to set up my 2009 calendar ON MY IPHONE. My windows calendar (vista home premium) has not been used.
It is possible to moe my calendar info TO WINDOWS CALENDAR from the IPHONE? I can see syncing info, but it seems to override the phone, and on music etc...not the calendar.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If she can't, it's a pretty sad statement about interoperability of Google's products.
Take a look at the help pages at http://www.google.com/calendar.
This really doesn't have anything to do with the iPhone.

  • How to push calendar events from iPhone to Google Calendar

I have successfully setup google calendars to sync with my phone and created a test event on google calendar website and it correctly pushed to my phone.
Now, my question is will the events that I already created natively on the iphone while under the Microsoft Outlook calendar push back to google calendars to where I can see them on the website? Will I have to go in and recreate while in specifically the Exchange google calendar or will they push back if I'm in the "All Calendars" view and create an event?
One last thing, I have not synced the phone with itunes yet since activating google calendar sync. Is that required?
Sorry if this is all confusing. I'm just learning the calendar thing for the phone.
    Thanks in advance!

I had all sorts of headaches trying to get this to work. But yes, you can do a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google Calendars to make sure Google has ALL your events. You then turn on sync on the iPhone, so the three are in sync.
What I did (do not try this at home ) is I deleted my Google Calendar and turned off sync on the iPhone (deleting the calendar data from my iPhone). I started with ONE source of appoinments. I then removed/reinstalled the Google sync app on my PC and initiated a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google. Now Google had a brand new calendar with all my appointments. I then turned on 2-way sync between my PC and Google. Next step, turn on calendar sync on the iPhone. That way all the appointments from Google (which are all the appointments from Outlook) downloaded onto my iPhone. Voila!

  • Apps icon gone from iPhone

I let my friend play with my iPhone the other day and now the "apps" icon is gone from my menu. Is there anyway to get it back? I have no idea what he did to get rid of it.

It cannot be deleted. First, swipe through your home screens was it simply moved to another home screen? If not, your friend set Restrictions, and probably a passcode as well. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions. If it asks for a passcode, Restrictions are ON. Restrictions can be used to 'hide' the icons for Safari, YouTube, Camera, iTunes, and the App Store. You'll need to get that code from your friend. The only other way to turn them off is to perform a Restore in iTunes, not from backup (meaning you'll lose all your data and settings).

  • Icloud calendars missing from iPhone

This morning there is only one iCloud calendar on my iphone.  None of my other iCloud calendars or exchanges calendars are showing.  They ARE NOT listed for me to check them as calendars I want to show.  They ARE on the iCloud and on the Exchange but they ARE NOT on the phone.  I have restarted the phone and they are still not there.  Also, everytime I close a re-open the calendar app it is blank and I have to go to the settings and choose to show  the only calendar that is still on the phone.  Any suggestions?

There are a number of systems down at the moment: http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

  • Left iCloud - how to get iCloud calendars synced from iPhone?

Like many people have experienced, iCloud's calendar-syncing issues have made a mess of my calendar-dependent schedule. An unmitigated disaster. I finally signed out of iCloud, and left the iCloud calendars on my iPhone, the only place other than iCloud my multiple calendars currently exist, due to Outlook sync problems.
Now, I can't get the multiple calendars on iPhone to sync with ANYTHING else, not google calendar, not outlook, not iCal. Only the main calendar syncs up, noe of the colored other categories I was using.
If anyone has a notion of how to deal with this I'd be deeply appreciative. Thank you!!

    on copyEvents(sourceCalName, destCalName)
    tell application "iCal"
set sourceCalendar to (the first calendar whose title is the sourceCalName)
set destCalendar to (the first calendar whose title is the destCalName)
set calendarEvents to (events of sourceCalendar) -- get the calendar's event list
repeat with myEvent in calendarEvents -- repeat for each item found in the source event list
    --Don't bother with old events
if start date of myEvent > ((current date) - oldEntryDays * days) then --event is in future, or within prefs for old entries
-- gather relevant details of event to create new event with
set eventStart to start date of myEvent
set eventEnd to end date of myEvent
set eventAllDay to allday event of myEvent
set eventSummary to summary of myEvent
set eventRecurrence to recurrence of myEvent
-- create event in destination calendar with details of subscribed event
    tell destCalendar
    make new event at end with properties {summary:eventSummary, start date:eventStart, end date:eventEnd, allday event:eventAllDay, recurrence:eventRecurrence}
    end tell
end if --if not older than 'oldEntryDays' days ago
end repeat --iterate through entries in source calendar
    end tell
    end copyEvents

  • ICloud calendar events are gone from iPhone and iPad

I turned on iPhone and iPad this am and and icloud calendar events are missing.  When I opened iPad calendar, events were there, but then disappeared and now are gone.  All events are still calendar in iCloud on PC.  How do I get them back on iPhone and iPad?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Check you aren't hiding them.
i.e. on the phone settings > mail, contacts, calendars > calendars > sync.

  • All appointments gone from iphone calendar for last year

For some reason, all the events in my calendar prior to Jan 1, 2012 are no longer on my iPhone. (3gs) All is synced with pc in outlook, and iCloud (apparently).
I NEED these on my phone for business and reference. My settings for iTunes: the "do not sync events older than" box is NOT checked.  Sync calendars with: Outlook checked, All Calendars checked.
It's maddening. I NEED these on my phone!!

Outlook also has a setting to archive events. If this is set the events will no longer be on Outlook to sync.

  • Vertical lines in calendar gone from display

The most common format for calendars is for each day to be bordered by horizontal and vertical lines, in Month view. This is indeed how my calendar month looks when printed. However, vertical lines are gone when viewed on my MacBook Pro display (Calendar v. 7.0 and OSX 10.9.5). It bothers me, in the same way a wristwatch with tic marks, instead of numbers on the dial, requires more attention. Someone said to me " I have vertical lines on my calendar." Did Apple omit the vertical lines from Calendar month view or is this abnormal. Can I get my vertical lines back?
    Thanks
    H

No,  very uncommon.  Only seen same on a very few older Airs.   Possible break in the monitor cable to your LCD LED backlit monitor. Also possible is bad connector at logic board to monitor cable on female connector on logic to cable. Also possible is bad GPU (still logic).  Either way its only 2 possibilities on parts.
If you're in warranty. thats great.
Backup ALL data to external HD....and make a call for warranty work on your Air.
The Air is very easy to service to replace parts for same.  Your down time should be minimal.

  • How transfer calendar data from iPhone to imac?

I lost all the data in my iMac calendar. The data exists in my iPhone. Is there a way to transfer the iPhone data to the iMac. I normally sync my iPhone to my iMac, but I'm not sure how to reverse the process.

    Transfer an In-App Purchase
You can't sync or transfer non-renewing subscriptions and consumable In-App Purchase to another iOS device or Mac. You can transfer non-consumable In-App Purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions to another iOS device or Mac authorized with your iTunes Store account. For example, if you transfer a game from an iPhone to an iPod touch, only the game levels will sync, and the extra ammo and experience points won't transfer.
