Calender delete markings, what is deleted ?

Calender has the option that the user input is deleted after some time which can be specified. Now, what is deleted ? All the user input including e.g. markings which are repeated every year ( like birthdays) ? I would not want to test this...

Anybody ? What is deleted from the calender ? All the user markings or just the ones which are not repeated ?

2 ipad calender delete

hello i have 2 ipad and i use the same calender via icloud so when i create a new event it appear on the other ipad but when i delete a event it stay on the other ipad is there a way to fix this thx

How do you mean deletes itself?
Make the appointment and it vanishes? If that's it, tap on the word calendar on your device and make sure you've made your built in calendar visible. Sometimes, especially if you sync another calendar, that other one can be visible and your built one invisible so you keep making appointments that seem to vanish.
Do you mean when it's in the past it vanishes? If so, there's a setting for how far back to sync your calendar (In the calendar part of the settings). If you have it set for 30 or 60 days then anything older is deleted. Since your calendar contents contributes to the 'other' part of your memory, sometimes it's set short to manage memory. (and since you have a work provided device some control of this may be out of your control)
If neither of those apply if you have some more info maybe that can help figuring out what it's doing

Torch's calender deleted all of a sudden?

I'm freaking out right now, I woke up this morning and checked my BB calendar, and there's not a single thing in it, for any date ever. Last night, it was full. I have so much important stuff on there, and I need it back. Is there any way to restore all my information? Nothing else has been wiped, just my calendar.

If the calendar is gone then its gone since you don't have a backup.
However, make sure you have all the calendars set to be visible. Go to Calendar, hit menu and select "Select Calendar" and make sure they're all visible.
I don't suppose you use BlackBerry Protect?

Outlook calender deletions of all appointments for former employee

How do I as admin delete ALL meetingroom reservations made by former employees in a smart way?

This isn't a smart way, in my opinion. This method does not remove this Calendar Event from other people who were invited to the meeting. The employee who made the orginial Calendar Event no longer has a mailbox, I can't easily see who was invited
to these meetings.

i want to display absence (holidays) for a big group of employees in a 'graphic way'. e.g. i want to list names of employees and then display a 'matrix' (calender) with absences in different colors.

Hi Martin,
There is already one standard prog RPTABS50 which will display attendaces/absences of an employee in calender view. What u can do is copy this program and modify adding colours according to ur requirement.

Linking of planning calender to vendor master record

Hi All,
Could you please let me know how I can determine a particular date of a week as the delivery date (Monday to Friday) by the vendor and plant combination.
That means
A purchase order created on 30 September for material X plant YYYY and vendor V1 has a receipt date of Friday 10 October.
As the fixed receipt date is Thursday, the actual delivery should occur on Thursday 16 October.
This receipt date based on fixed weekday must be the one computed by MRP calculation and appears on MD04 stock requirement list as actual receipt date.
(I have got how to make it for the plant, that is by giving the Planning cycle in the MRP2 view and for that we have to select time phased planning that is R1 in MRP type field in the MRP1 view.) I have also seen in the vendor master alternative data for a particular plant I can give the Delivery cycle and planning cycle but they don't determine according to vendor plant combination when I do MRP run in MD03 and see the PR s created.

If we have to determine the delivery date according to a particular vendor then we are maintaining the planning calender and delivery calender in the vendor sub range,and we are also maintaing the vendor in the source list for that plant and material and making the vendor as MRP relevant, then
Is there any need to give planning cycle in the MM record,as now we are not utilizing the material master record planning calender, instead of that we are using vendor subrange planning cycle and delivery cycle.( I tried to run MD03,after removing the planning calender in the MM record and I got the error "Error determining planning periods for calender")
More over what is the difference between the planning cycle field and delivery cycle field in the VM record?
Please let me know as this is a requirement from the client which we need to map ?
I am using MRP type PD and lot sizing as PK(period lot size for planning calender)

Outlook Calender on Vista with Iphone won't sync

Can anyone help me solve this issue.....?
I have Outlook 2002 on my computer and this is where I have my entire calender stored and what I would like to sync with my Iphone. However, I also have Vista on my computer and Iphone only recognizes and wants to sync with some calender called "windows calender." It won't recognize Outlook. So I tried to export my calender from Outlook to windows calender and it won't let me do that either. Please help!

Outlook 2002 is not a supported application to sync calendars from. For it to work through Outlook application you will need to use either Outlook 2003 or 2007.
As for merging the calendar for Outlook to Windows calendar in Vista, if you do not get a answer here you might have to contact Microsoft support or the manufacturer of your computer.

Shared outlook calender, can't make private appointment

Here is the scenario, i have an outlook calender. This calender is shared with an assistant ( not whole email, just calender and contacts )
What i am trying to do is have her able to set an appointment( which she can do ) and also make them private (greyed out, she can't make anything private)
Is there a way that i can do this? she has owner permissions to the calender and can do everything BUT make it private appointment. Do i have to cave and give her full access to my outlook so she can physically add my email into her outlook or am i missing
something simple, let me know. Thanks!

I have gone to the main users outlook account and assigned the "assistant" as a delegate and gave editor permissions through that to her for calender, contacts, and notes. She still cannot make anything Private. The little lock that would allow her to is
still greyed out. Am i missing something in delegate access?
FYI: We run an exchange 2008 server and they are both on office 2010 ( outlook 2010 )

Holiday Calender upload for new year

Hi All,
There is a requriement to upload the Holiday Calender for 2009. They have provided me the calender i.e for example:
25 Dec Christmas - applicable for areas - Banglore, Mumbai, delhi only.
Please let me know how to upload the new calender in system, because the calenders available for abovre areas is valid upt 2020. So how to upload the new calender.
Also what all config apart from Public Holiday calender we need to do in system.
Appreciate if you guys can help on this.

How many holidays you have?
Untill unless you don't many don't use upload programs ok.
Please follow the above Msgs too.
If you have different calenders for all the differnt places go and create new Holiday calender applicable for the current year or whatever you need (For example if you don't have holidays which dates from calender year to calender year)
Once you create holiday calender make it is assigned to work schedule and all.
Then you need to Genrate the work shedule for the next year then only Work schedule will be create as per new holiday calender

Inventory Non cumulative values are not showing correct result

I have created a report on Inventory cube taking material in rows and 0T0TALSTCK and 0VALSTCKVAL in colums and i created a variable on calender day . What ever the date if we give we will get the quantity and value as on that date.
Here Quantity is showing perfectly and in case of value it is showing wrongly. In this case the interesting thing is if we substract the (Reciet value - Issue ) value then i am getting the correct value.
Some times Even quantity is zero the noncumulative keyfigure (0VALSTCKVAL)is not showing zero it is showing some value but if i do (Reciet value - Issue ) it will show correctly.
Please help on this issue.

when the quantity is correct, then you have a problem with the values. You have loaded the infocube correcly.
check your keyfigures and the transformation with the BI content.
=> for example: do you have the coding in the BF transformation?

ICal won't sync with Entourage anymore

I started having trouble with this right after 10.5.2--duplicate events that needed conflict reconciliation.
Today I noticed a number of meetings were being duplicated. Sync asked me to resolve conflicts, which I did globally in favor of Entourage.
I ended up having to delete multiples by hand, then tried to re-sync. They multiplied!
Following other suggestions I saw here, I opened iCal, deleted the Entourage calendars (there were now two!) and shut the program. I re-synced and reopened iCal. As expected, it had created a nice shiny new Entourage calendar--with NOTHING in it. Now I've run sync several times and it's still not being updated with my Entourage events.
Help appreciated.
EDIT--I just imported Entourage data into Mail--and it created a new calender, Entourage2! What the...? I deleted the original Entourage iCal calender, and just kept the populated one. Will this sync up properly now?
EDIT AGAIN--No, it doesn't sync properly--it re-created an Entourage Calendar!!! With nothing in it!

Hi Robin
I got my iCal and Entourage to sync by going in to Entourage preferences and choosing the Sync Services section. Choose which option you want (I chose to merge data). Once this is done, you should be able to view both calendars within iCal. The sweet thing is that if you update your work calendar, in either program, it shows up in the other one within about 30 seconds.
