I'm a bit confused. In the Subject you want to know about calendar in forms 9i. In the body you want to know about calendar in forms 6i.
Using the "Search forum" function with the search terms "show calender 6i" I got 1500 answers. This (1500) seems to be the maximum number of results returned, so maybe there are more. If you in reality meant 9i, make a search yourself with the above search terms and substitute 6i with 9i.

I am facing problems in creating calender class in Forms 9i .I want to create calender which attach with date field.

see the Forms 6i demos here on OTN. There is a calendar.fmb file in it that you can upgrade to Forms9i. Alternatively, use the calendar bean that comes with teh Forms9i demos. However, the latter shows a button to launch the calendar. The first will show as a calendar with all teh date fields.

One question how do you call stndrd20.olb and calendar.pll which contains the date_lov package

Calender in forms application

I need to build a form program for scheduling purpose. This forms need to contain a calender (monthly and weekly)
that user can do the scheduling job and put some comment on a specific date in the calender.
What is the best way to do this ?
Should I build many text items and then populate each date to each items ?
I heard about the calender package, is it usefull in this case ?
please help !!!

There is a javabean at OTN beneath forms samplecode with which you can build a calender picklist. Works very fine. Try it

Hello. That's a good calendar, but what i need is to click a button and insert into a text field (database item with date type) the date selected, in format DD-MON-YYYY. in your example it's just showing the calendar
anyway, i dealed with the Calendar PJC from Oracle Demos, i compiled everything successfully, i added into my formsweb.cfg the following

but each time i run the form, it opens a browser, then for 2 seconds a frame, and then the frame dissapears, and remains the browser.
Why this happens and i cannot see the calendar to pick a date?

Hello Andy,
I had successfully applied the Calender to the form6.0. All the libraries and .pll are attached successfully.
But at the run-time, it is giving an error that ora-01840, Argument 2 to COPY can not be null,
What was that problem? Please!!!

How do I create a calender with check boxes?

You will have to author the calendar page and add the check boxes.
It is possible with JavaScript to create such a page based on the start date but it is a lot of coding.

ERROR FRM-40735 while migrating from 6i to 9i using FMA

We have migrated a sample form which is in 6i to 9i using Oracle Forms Migration Assistant. It is compiling without errors and while running hitting the error
FRM-40735:PRE-FORM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06508.
and not opening up the form...Please post any suggestions on this.

Thank you very much for the help...I could resolve it by just adding the appropriate pll's in forms90 folder.
Now, we are trying to implement the calender in forms 9i. As we are moving from Forms 6i C/S to Forms 9i, as a first step I've implemented calender in web forms 6i (using demo's in oracle doc's--using CalenderWidget Bean)
I tried doing the same for Oracle 9i too but it didn't work..I mean it is deleting the code for the trigger
WHEN_CUSTOM_ITEM_EVENT which is written for Bean.
Please suggest me regarding how to proceed with this...

The cpu resources are only limited once the cpu's are 100% utilized. It is highly unlikely that dom0 will try to use 100% of a cpu, let alone all cpus. Only when there are no idle physical cpus would you run into issues.
You may want to try reducing the number of vcpus in the windows guest. I have seen reports from users claiming that having more vcpus in a windows guest causes it to run slower.

I have Date field and a button near to it . I want when i pressed button one calender should display and i can select the date .
