Calender sync with pc

im trying to figure out if theres a way to sync my iphone calender with my windows vista calender or a calender i can download for free that i can sync because i have restored my iphone twice and i lose all my calender events any answers would be appreciated

Calender syncing with Icloud and Maverick?

When upgrading to maverick my Calender has to sync with Icloud. The Calender has to shift to the serveraccount. But in the installment procedure it won't go past this. It is stuck in the shift. What to do??

Do a search of these forums for Calendar Connect to server never finishes. Or similar topic headers.
Also look to the right at the More Like This area. This has been covered and a work around posted in one of the threads dealing with this issue.

Is Anyway to Make Main Iphone Calender Primary with Windows Live mail Caledner? Instead of having two seperate calenders to sync too. For example, would it be possible to sync the Windows Live Calender to my Iphone 4 Calender only. Reducing it down to one calender only. Sounds clear?

1) It sounds like you have been using itunes match, which is a different service than icloud. Is this true?
2) Without using icloud to sync data, you must manually connect a device to iTunes.

TS3999 Calender sync with iCloud

I have been trouble shooting my iPhone 3GS and my partners iPod as neither will sync with calender in the my cloud. I have discovered that neither have a place in Settings, Mail Contact Calender - to set the default calender. Is this deliberate or do I have a larger problem with iOS 5.1.1. nik

Scroll down in mail, contacts calendars, the calendars section should have 5 options, the bottom one being default calendar.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Gmail contacts & calender synced with IP5 not showing in icloud

I synced my iPhone 5 with my gmail contacts and calender. They show on the phone. I have icloud set up but they are not showing there. Gmail groups are not showing up either. What do I need to do?

Then let me ask you this. I use these devices, iMac, and new to iPhone5 for personal use. My email is from a pop server where we have our internet access. I surf on the phone and primarily listen to books on audible, sometimes sending emails. It sounds as if I already have gmail contacts & calender set to sync with the phone (not the email portion of gmail) that I rellly don't need icloud. Does that sound right to you? If this is the case, is there no way then to set up contact groups from gmail to the phone, except doing so manually? As I write this though, is it worth it to get everything set up on icloud vs staying with gmail based info?

Calender sync with Exchange server

Background: IOS7 on iPhone, Outlook 2007 on Exchange server, passwords managed by Microsoft Active Directory. We have some users that have multiple people with proxy rights to one calendar. Calendar items; new, updates (location, invites, attachments), and deletions are not appearing on the iPhone. The changes appear on the Outlook desktop application, problem is intermittent. The only suspected cause is that if the Outlook enterprise account is locked out by one of the users, anyone that has proxy rights can still add/change the calendar but these will not be reflected on the iPhone, even when account is unlocked. The only solution to date has been to delete and rebuild the account. Any suggestions?

I'm also having problems getting Entourage to sync with the Exchange server. Started with error -116 showing up. After trying all of the suggestions (restoring Entourage DB, clearing iCal sources, etc.) I was able to get Entourage to sync with iCal, but I cannot get Entourage to access my Exchange calendar correctly. I get the error -116 message or I just hang with Entourage not responding and I have to force quit. E-mail from the exchange server is working with no problems. Clicking on the calendar produces the error or hang. Interesting notifications from the calendar are working and the sync with iCal is working.
I am also seeing problems with progress reporting in Entourage. The Progress view shows in progress messages event after all updates have stopped.
I have rebuilt the Entourage DB and even tried creating a new user DB but continue to have the same problems.
Checked console log but don't see any messages that would help.
Any other ideas?

Can't setup calender-sync with Outlook 2010

Hi,
i want to sync my calender with Outlook 2010 on Win7 x64.
When i try to setup in the iCloud control panel this error is posted:
Fehler: 0x80004005: The principal record contains no calendar-home-set entries!
I don't know, where to set the calendar-home entry...
Contacts are synching, however sometimes Outlook won't start with the new PST-File (main.db).
My mailbox is hosted on Exchange Server 2010.
Any suggestions?

Iphone calender sync with outlook

When I Sync my IPhone with my PC the Calender from my IPhone wont populate my Outlook Calender. There use to be an option to sync too the PC and from the PC. Can someone help me?

Check your iCloud settings on the phone and make sure they aren't checked for mail, if you're synching by USB cable

In my Outlook calender I've added some "To-do" / Tasks. They all have a spec date, hour and alarmtime set.
I've set my Iphone -> "inställningar" (settings) -> calendar switched to "ON"
("Sound" also switched to "ON")
After sync these "To-do"/ Task are NOT visible on my Iphone. What's wrong?

I don't believe there is a To Do feature in the native iPhone as it is not present on every calendar type which the iPhone works with. I think there are Apps which provide the functionality though.

Currently, the only way to sync your calendar with a XP machine is via Outlook 2003 or 2007

How does calender sync with android?

WHen updating phone, iPad calender is updated. Phone is Samsung galaxy ( android). But when updating using iPad calender the phone is not updating. What can I do? Any settings to check? I keep looking. Thanks for any ideas.

Are you using your GMail account for your calender? If so, you can keep both devices in sync if you set your GMail account up as an Exchange account on your iPad. Then, any changes you make on either device are pushed to the other. See:

If you do this, just a word of advice ... pay attention to the "Delete Email" section of this article. By default, email that you delete from your GMail inbox will be archived, not deleted. Since you're setting this up as an Exchange account, the only way to change that is to follow Google's instructions to set the behavior to actually delete messages rather than archive (a "standard" GMail account in iOS has an option for this in Settings, but not if it is an Exchange account).

Calender Sync with Location from Outlook?

I know back in December 2005, there were questions about this. I can't seem to figure out if this issue has been resolved or not, Can someone help??
Below is a post from December 2005 - I am still having to deal with the same issue. Does anyone know if there has been an softwear update yet???

The location field does sync to the iPod but the iPod calendar application ignores it.
The solution is to copy the location information into the event description field which is displayed.
I wrote a Perl script and Applescript which does this and it is available at my website http://its.usc.edu/~bbellina/downloads. To use it you sync normally, then you open your iPod on your desktop and drag its Calendars folder onto the Applescript.
Windows users can use the Perl script if they install a Windows version of Perl.
I reported this problem to Apple in 2006. I don't know why they haven't corrected it.

Does anyone know if there is any way to sync my iPhone with my google calender or do I need to have my google calender sync with my outlook, if I can even do that, and how big of a runaround is that?
