Calender wrong on homescreen

Just got a new e71, very happy with it! I have activated the organizer on the homescreen, but it shows the activity for two days ahead. For example today, the 26th of August, it talks about that there are no more entries for today, 28th, even if today the 26th I have more activity scheduled. The calender settings are correct, and the date shows correct ontop of the screen.

If you want to access calender app quickly, you can tap the date and select "Open Calender" on Homescreen to bring up the calender.
And if you want calender entries to show up on honescreen, Go to Settings>personal>homescreen>homescreen theme>select "Shortcut bar".
Again go to Settings>personal>homescreen>homescreen>make sure "Calender" is selected.
Edit: Also you can keep a shortcut to Calender app on homescreen if you want, Go to Settings>personal>homescreen>shortcuts>select "Calender" on any slot from 4.

Anuone know, to keep calender even on home screen in nokia 5230 nuron. I always needed to go into calender and then look for calender. But it will be very useful for millions of users if it is on homescreen.

How do i set up MFE and calender on E66 homescreen...

I have the newest version of the E66 and am trying to set up the mail for exchange and exchange calander on the homescreen.
How do I do this? the Mail and Calendar is working perfectly, I just need the homescreen gadgets that shows newest mail and next calendar appointment on the front-page (homescreen)

Replaced my buggy Nokia N97 with a HTC Hero.
Besides the camera and the real keyboard the HTC Hero pawned the N97 on every level.

Go to Settings > General > About > Name and type in a new name
If a Passcode lock has been set, Settings > General > Passcode Lock > and delete and enter new or set to OFF

Contacts shortcut on homescreen

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but I really wonder why the contact shortcuts on the N97 don't have the same functionality as on the 5800 - a log of calls and messages, when you press on one of the four contacts.
On the N97 it's just a plain shortcut to the address book.
The idea on the 5800 is brilliant, but the way it is executed, it is not that good. You have to choose either the contact plugin, or your calender, music shotcuts, and apps shortcuts... I have to have my calender on my homescreen.
I had really high hopes that Nokia would have combined the two things, now that we can choose freely what we want to see on the homescreen. I can't see why the contacts can't expand up, or down, over the other widgets, and display a log of calls and messages.
We can have eight contacts on the N97, but only shortcuts to the address book, which, in my oppinion, is a waste of space, on the homescreen.
Personaly I have choosed my four favorite contacts, and removed the widget again. Now I have my favorites starred, and moved to the top, in the address book. I hope that Nokia will implement it in future firmwares, but I have my doubts, when it's not already there by now.

i have done the same activity ( buy a new iphone 4 -> upgrade to ios5 - > configure email) with success-
than when i start to move the contacts from old mobile to iphone (using the microsim) i receive the same crash
in disgnosis e use i saw 2 dump with this title 'latestCrash-Preferences.plist and LatestCrash.plist. in each file the date is the same and i read:

Calender.getTime is displaying wrong date(One day earlier then the current)

I am trying to display date from a calender object. My code is
<h:outputText value="#{documentActivity.createdDate.time}" />
createdDate is a calender object.
this output is wrong, if the date is 05/28/07, this displays as 05/27/07.
When I try to print the same from a java class it prints fine...
createdDate.getTime().
Has anyone faced this issue, Is there a problem with the JSF tag?

Which JSF version? Do you use a converter?

Wrong time when using java Calender

I have a Solaris 9 system. The Timezone for which is set to "TZ=Asia/Colombo". I have written a small java code to get the time using Calender class.
The problem is I get wrong time and wrong ZONE offset information

Perhaps you should update to a newer version of Java. If you have to stick with 1.4.2, then you should at least use 1.4.2_15.
See also http://java.sun.com/javase/timezones/tzdata_versions.html on information about how to update time zone information in Java. In 2006 there was an update to the timezone info also covering Sri Lanka.

Wrong time in iCloud calender?

I want to set up my icloud calender to be my default calender and sync with my phone but as I type events in in the icloud calender, they end up listing the times as wrong. I added an appointment I had at 9:20 but it shows up on the calender as 8:20 (if i click the event, it says 9:20)

use a supported web browser to go to iCloud.com. Click your name (top right) and set you Time Zone to the correct one.

Web calender 10.8 wrong timezone

Does anybody know how You get the right timezone in the web calender (os x 10.8 server) I manually change it to GMT+1. If I log off and the login it still has the changed timezone, but it seems if I remove cookies the timezone revert to old settings... I thouhgt this was saved on the server I am acceessing it is very irritating....I know this was a problem in lion.

Better I might missunderstand You but the problem is not from the Icloud.com side but from the web calender mountain lion server, where You have the possibility to add timezone/start of week and so on... I don't think that these applications are connected or am i wrong ??

Don't worry I've sorted it! I just had to turn off Reminders as well in iCloud. Calendar then worked fine, even when I turned Calendar and Reminders back on.

Wrong Times & Dates on calender

I hope someone can advise, when ever I sync my iphone to my mac laptop the dates and time are wrong. Some dates are on a different days or are different time to those that I put in. Please help it's very frustrating especially for reminders.

I have been having this problem, also, so I am hoping someone can answer this, too. I have had several changed, but the biggest problem is it is moving the times an hour later on my phone. I think this started when the time changed, but the time is correct on my phone and on my computer both now, and they are the same. When I sync (with Outlook) the times are correct. They sync, but they are all one hour later. Help!!! This is a real problem!

Calender alert wrong time

I'm normally in central standard time but then I took a trip to Pacific standard time. I change the time on the iPad and it shows the correct local time but then when I made an alert in calender it told me on calendar the right time, but when the alert pops up it showed me the time from central standard time. This isn't the notification bar at the top that pulls down, this is the small pop-up window that's in the middle of the screen when it reaches the alert time that you have set in calendar.

You can set the default snooze time:
1. Go to the calendar
2. Press menu/blackberry button and "options"
3. Click "general options"
Set the default snooze time over here. Unfortunately there is no way to change that snooze time once an alert pops up. There maybe other calendar apps for the blackberry, but I am unaware of any (free or otherwise). Check the blackberry app world.

Factory Calender taking wrongly

Dear Experts,
                     We have extended the factory calender which are assigned to the plants. But after New year the system is thrwing error like " Date lies after factory Calender 01", even though we assigned another factory calender and holi day calender..? This is happening to particulary one plant in one server. All other servers are OK .Then We extended the 01 calender in the development then it is OK. I want to know why system is considering 01 calender instead of assigned calender???

                    The Only one calender is defined and found one Definition only. As SAid by one of our expert there be BUFFER problem as SAP also suggested to refresh the FACTORY CALENDER as it is ending with 2010 year.
                    My Problem got solved as We updated/extended the 01 calender eventhough it is not attached to any plant.
                    My question is Why Particular Plant only behing like this ? If any BUFFER problem is there it will be applicable to all the Plants in that Server. I am getting this error when creating Sales Order (VA01).
                    For this I raised a request Note to SAP.My problem got solved Can I open this question as unanswered or Can I close it as I got solution ? Please Let me know Sir.
