    Turns out that unity came back after all this. Maybe it just needed time. I think I answered my own question.  Anyways, this post could serve for future reference.

  • Formula Not available error after BW35 Upgrade

    Hi Guys,
        We upgraded to BW35 from BW30B. If I open a query in QBW getting an error message,
    Abort, The (Sub) Formula 3kfd3fe54er343df3fdf is not available.
         This query was working just fine before the upgrade, I checked all the formulas used in the query, everything is OK. I get the same error from TCODE: RSRT, I can't even debug. Any inputs ?

  • I installed AVG 2011 Free, and Firefox 4 today on a friends compouter. The AVG Safe Search Toolbar is not available, even after disabling and enabling the Add On. I use AVG 2011 full Licence with Firefox 4 at home no problems. How do I fix this please

    Works in IE no probs, Add On shows in Add On's List. AVG Safe Search Toolbar not available in toolbar lists.

    Because I am having issues with Norton Security Suite with the upgrade to Firefox 4.0.1, I have been dealing with that as well, with no success to-date. However, I did notice today when I was looking in my trash, an interesting thing occurred with the upgrade that MAY have something to do with the apps. in Facebook not working correctly now with Firefox.
    In my trash, there are several folders of 'Recovered Files'. Two of them are loaded with Internet Plugins for Facebook and were all dumped on May 1st, the day I upgraded to v. 4.0.1 Firefox and began having all my problems. For example, they are plugins like: plugin-cross domain.xml, plugin-gateway-1.php, plugin-102452128776.gz-72.json, just to name a few of them. Now, I am wondering if they were inadvertently removed during the upgrade process, or if they are in conflict with the new upgrade. Should I put them all back into Library -->Internet Plug-Ins to see if that resolves the problems? There are so many of them, I wish there was a way to mark them in some fashion in case I would have to remove them and not take the wrong ones out! Maybe there is a way I can color code them before I move them. I hate using 2 browsers!
    I notice that 2 other people have this problem but I don't see where they left any post. I really wish Norton, Firefox, and Facebook would get this ironed out. I never had a problem with anything until this and I don't like to spend all my time trying to troubleshoot something I don't understand! Anyway, thanks for listening.

  • "map server not available" message after "rerouting" is initiated

    Two mornings in a row i've had the same problem with Maps at around 5 or 6 am EST.  I set a location at the house (where I have wifi service) and start a route to that location.  Then, once I'm driving, I deliberately go off-route.  my New Ipad screen says "rerouting" but it hangs on that and never gives me a new route. From then on, while driving, anything I do with Maps produces a message something like this "directions not available -- cannot access map server at this time"
    Once I get back in the house, however, I'm able to initiate a new route and start over.  I can think of several possibilities: (1) the rerouting process causes everything to hang up somehow, (2) the servers are actually down for maintenance or whatever, which I doubt, or (3) my ipad communicates fine with the server through wifi at home but is not able to access it properly out on the road.  I'm in Atlanta and I believe (although I'm not certain} that the upper left hand corner of ipad says "LTE".  (My Roadmate app still works fine, although I realize the two have nothing to do with each other.)  Anyone have any similar experience?

    Same problem with iPhone 5 warranty replacement. works on wifi and 3G (turning LTE off). does not work on LTE. Not a problem with Verizon location or reception because the same problem occurs on the east coast, in the mid-west, and in Nevada.
    Maps do not load and direction requests end up in 'map server not available'.

  • Hyperlinks are not active online after publishing??

    For some reason, the hyperlinks don't all function on the website after publishing.  It does not seem to be consistant - not a problem with a particular page or all hyperlinks.  When I try to adjust the hyperlink in iWeb, there's no problem with it there - they all function fine in the design.   Any suggestions on how to be sure the hyperlinks work when published to the website?    Thanks!

    I don't seem to have a "problem page".  I've read in a few other feeds that there may be a problem with overlapping text boxes.  I'm working on that right now to see if that will resolve the issue.

  • File Class not available anymore after HD clone

    Hi and tnxs for reading.
    I installed on my MacBook Pro running Mavericks a SSD and cloned my original HDD by using Apple Disk Utility; everything is fine, however I noticed the following issue:
    by going to the Apple top left and Info My Mac and selecting the HD memory, I do not any file classification anymore, as per the following screenshot.
    Disk1: original HDD
    Disk2: cloned SSD.
    Is this a matter of time that has to be given to Mavericks to reclassify files or is this an issue? Is there a way to force Maverick to reclassify files?

    I did already actually... that screenshot was done as you say, and checked again after SSD installation on my mac, but just a few minutes after... now checked again and it is almost fine, just a few GB difference WRT the original on the OTHER and APP items... all the other are exactly the same
    Maybe SpotLight was doing its job, sorry but I was not aware of this... Now I am checking the Activity Monitor and will post on the other post, tnxs ciao!

  • Offline Files, not available offline after server 2008 R2 upgrade

    I have a few users on Windows 7 Enterprise. They have their H (home) drive "Always Available Offline". If we check the offline files folder they show up. If the user shuts down, takes their laptop off the network, starts up and logs back in, the
    offline copy of the H: does not show up like it did before.   If I unc into the path where the H is, I can get to it or if I run the log in script. (note: only the files that had Always available offline show up). This tells me the files sync and wre
    copied to the client machine, it's just not "mapping" the offline drive for the user like it use to. 
    I've gone as far as to completely wipe one of the laptops (with users permission of course) and re-install everything, all updates and it still happens. I am begging to think it is something with the servers but the Sys admin doesn't think so. I am at loss
    of what to try next.

  • Fonts not available in After Effects

    I'm new to AE and am working with a template that I downloaded.  All is well except when I try to change the font there are very few offered in the "Characters" within the composition.  I have many more fonts in PhotoShop CC for instance that don't show up in AE.  Is there something I have to do for a font to show up available when I'm working within AE?  I'm wanting to use Adobe Garamond Pro.

  • Airport Express not available anymore after upgrade to iTunes 12.1

    I have Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 installed and did an iTunes upgrade from previous version to 12.1 . After the installation and restart I got the info that the 'Bonjour' service was stopped and I have to reactivate it again in the system settings. Having that done I still can't address the Airport Express speakers out of iTunes.
    Any idea what I can do?

  • SDK extensions not available anymore after Design Studio re-installation

    Hi all
    I've faced some issues with my local installation and was wondering if it was due to the fact that my local installation was 1.2.1 while the platform was 1.2. So I've decided to uninstall 1.2.1 and install 1.2 again locally.
    Once done, I don't see extensions anymore in the designer (Design Studio Utility Pack for instance) and if I try to install it again it says it's already installed...
    Where can I go to delete these extensions completely and re-install them properly?

    If all else fails, delete your 'Analysis Config' folder is the short answer.
    You can also clean up old/invalid repo archives in debug mode but that's a longer answer.

  • LVM Volumes not available after update

    Hi All!
    I haven't updated my system for about two months and today I updated it. Now I have the problem that I cannot boot properly. I have my root partition in an LVM volume and on boot I get the message
    ERROR: device 'UUID=xxx' not found. Skipping fs
    ERROR: Unable to find root device 'UUID=xxx'
    After that I land in the recovery shell. After some research I found, that "lvm lvdisplay" showed that my volumes where not available and I had to reenable them with "lvm vgchange -a y".
    Issuing any lvm command also produced the following warning:
    WARNING: lvmetad is running but disabled. Restart lvmetad before enabling it!
    Anyway, after issuing the commands and exiting the recovery shell, the system booted again. However, I would prefer being able to boot without manual actions.

  • Shell replacement but touch functionality not available after start

    Hi all,
    i use Windows 7 Pro and I want to replace the Windows shell (eplorer.exe) with my own application.
    For testing I changed all neccessary registry entries to notepad.exe (on board) as shell. After starting windows with autologon, notepad appears and no deskop and taskbar. Exactly what I expected. The problem is, the touchfunctionality is not available directly
    after starting windows. No keyboard an mouse function. When I wait for 3 - 4 minutes without doing everything, the touch functionality is suddenly present.
    When I change back to explorer shell, the touch funktionality is present directly after starting windows.
    Does anybody know, how I can force the touch functionality, so that the touch work directly after starting windows with my own shell (Notepad)?
    Further Information:
    I use no third party driver and the touch display is connected via USB to simulate keyboard and mouse.

    To check the root cause of this issue, I suggest you follow these steps to create 2 boot trace file for comparison: 
    1. Start your computer in normal, and install WPT (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/4847.install-the-windows-performance-toolkit-wpt-en-us.aspx)
    and run following command to trace boot sequence, it will let you restart your computer. 
    xbootmgr –trace boot -traceFlags BASE+LATENCY+DISK_IO_INIT+DISPATCHER+DRIVERS+FILE_IO+FILE_IO_INIT+NETWORKTRACE+PERF_COUNTER+POWER+PRIORITY+REGISTRY -postBootDelay 300 -resultPath C:\Boot_Trace_Normal
    2. In normal mode, please do the changes to replace Windows shell, then run following command to capture the boot trace during restarting: 
    xbootmgr –trace boot -traceFlags BASE+LATENCY+DISK_IO_INIT+DISPATCHER+DRIVERS+FILE_IO+FILE_IO_INIT+NETWORKTRACE+PERF_COUNTER+POWER+PRIORITY+REGISTRY -postBootDelay 300 -resultPath C:\Boot_Trace_Replace
    3. Check the difference by using Performance analyzer in WPT and referring following article:

    Hi,    When i start the Management Console of SAP PCo 2.1, I get an error which says 'Error Retreiving Destination Systems.  [Access to the database file is not allowed. [File Name: C:\Program Files ....\Configuration.sdf' ]].    Any clue of why this
