  • How to make call on Mobile from OCCAS

    Hi all,
how we could make call on mobile from OCCAS, what type of configuration we have to do and what type of media server required. Also indicate if there is any simulator for media server.
    Regards

    Hello,
The normal method is to use a PSTN gateway (SIP protocol supported) to connect the OCCAS and the MSC.
And if only peer to peer voice call, no need to use the media server.
    Regards.

Hello and welcome to the Skype Community!
Your account shows that you are calling from the UAE. Please note that the UAE blocks all outbound VoIP traffic including Skype. You could try using a VPN to access the internet.
p.s. No post duplication please. Duplicate removed. Thank you.

  • I have credit, but can't call Polish mobiles from UK

Hi! I've been trying to call mobiles in Poland from UK. I managed to get through only once, but other times I get an automatic reply that I can't call the numbers I'd chosen. I'm sure they're correct! The online guide to my problem suggests checking whether my subscription covers Poland (though I'm sure it does as I managed to call that one time). It says "Sign in to your account, click your existing subscriptions on the left, then click Settings next to your subscription. The information is displayed". I can't see any Settings in my subscriptions, it only suggests topping up credit, which I don't need... I find it very frustrating, so I'm hoping you'd be able to help me.  Thank you in advance, Aggi

Hello Norman! Thank you for answering.  I am sure that I'm using the right account, so the problem still remains.. Thank you in advance for further suggestions. Regards

  • When calling my mobile number, it makes the 'no such number' tone?!

My phone (iPhone 5s) currently states 'No Service'. I've turned it off, turned it on, put it in airplane mode, taken it out, but still got 'no service'. I currently have a wifi connection, but no wifi-calling. Have tried calling 151 just to 'test' it, nothing. Have now called my mobile from a landline, but just get a 'no such number' tone, whereas I should be re-directed to the voicemail... I am on a EE Sim only contract, with a contract end date of 13/09/14, but that I haven't cancelled. Money has just been debited from my account for July, so I assume this would cover me until 13/08/15. Anyone have any ideas of what's going on?! Everyone else in the office on EE has a signal, and I don't think it's the signal that's the problem, or the phone would just go straight to voicemail instead of a constant 'no such number' tone...

  • Iam from Yemen we have CDMA carrier called Yemen mobile I bought an iPad from the US CDMA works with Verizon when I got to Yemen doesn't work with the carrier Yemen mobile and  both carriers verizon and Yemen mobile work by the CDMA system don't know whey

A Verizon-model iPad can only work on CDMA with Verizon. You cannot use it with any other carrier. Apple, to my knowledge, has not released the iPad in Yemen, so there is no iPad you can use with any carrier there that works only on CDMA. You would need to find a GSM carrier and then get an unlocked GSM iPad.

  • What do recipients see when I call mobile from Sky...

    Hi all,
I have just signed up to the US subscription (calling US landlines and mobiles from Skype) - however, how does the person I am calling know that it is me?  What do they see on their mobile phone?  My skype username?  A strange long number?
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!!
PS I "do not" have a Skype number that Skype sells for an extra charge..
    Cheers
    RS

    Hi,
    A strange long number, afaik.
But, according to == the FAQ  == you probably might set up the caller identification by using your mobile number.

  • Calling JavaFX Script from JavaScript on mobile

    Hi,
We are developing a application which would run on a mobile. We have to call javafxscript from javascript in this application. Is there a way to do this on a mobile application. I am able to do this for application running on browsers.
Will javafx mobile application support this Calling JavaFX Script from JavaScript?
Please share any information related to this.
    Regards,
    Sherlyn

I doubt it (but I can be wrong!).
javafx.stage.AppletStageExtension is only on the desktop profile.
[Calling From JavaScript to JavaFX Script|http://javafx.com/docs/tutorials/javafx-javascript/] article states "+this functionality requires Java SE 6 Update 10 at minimum+" which seems incompatible with mobile usage.
Beside, a quick Google search hints that JavaScript support on mobile browsers is weak or inexistent (depending on browsers).

  • Unified Mobility, no audio on Send call to Mobile Phone

I'm using UCM 9.1 with Unified Mobility (xfer to alternate number) with good success if I follow a typical call flow:
Inbound call -> Ext -> Rings deskphone x seconds -> Rings mobile phone -> Answer mobile phone -> hangup -> Resume call on desk phone.
But if I pick up a call on my desk phone, and use the Mobility button to xfer a call to my mobile phone I get no audio:
Inbound call -> Ext -> Pickup desk phone -> Mobility soft button, 'Send call to Mobile Phone' -> Answer mobile phone, no audio -> Hang up mobile phone -> Resume call on desk phone (two-way audio).
Device wise the call flow is:
ITSP SIP trunk -> CUBE -> CUCM -> 7965 IP Phone.
Recently I reconfigured CUCM to use the CUBE for any MTP resources instead of the software option and I think I may have missed something.
    CUBE config:
    voice-card 0 dspfarm dsp services dspfarm!!!voice service voip ip address trusted list  ipv4 173.46.30.218  ipv4 173.46.30.202  ipv4 10.0.6.30  ipv4 10.0.6.31  ipv4 10.0.6.33  ipv4 10.0.6.32  ipv4 10.1.1.4  ipv4 10.0.250.0 255.255.255.0 mode border-element allow-connections h323 to h323 allow-connections h323 to sip allow-connections sip to h323 allow-connections sip to sip redirect ip2ip fax protocol t38 version 0 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback none sip  midcall-signaling passthru media-change  early-offer forced  no call service stop  registration passthrough!voice class codec 1 codec preference 1 g711ulawsccp local GigabitEthernet0/0.42sccp ccm 10.0.6.30 identifier 1 version 7.0 sccp!sccp ccm group 1 bind interface GigabitEthernet0/0.42 associate ccm 1 priority 1 associate profile 1 register MTP_2951-01!dspfarm profile 2 transcode universal  codec pass-through codec g711ulaw codec g711alaw codec g729ar8 codec g729abr8 maximum sessions 11 associate application SCCP shutdown!dspfarm profile 3 conference  codec g711ulaw codec g711alaw codec g729ar8 codec g729abr8 codec g729r8 codec g729br8 maximum sessions 2 associate application SCCP!dspfarm profile 1 mtp  codec pass-through codec g711ulaw maximum sessions hardware 15 associate application SCCP!

Not sure where to start troubleshooting this problem, any help is appreciated.
    Steve

Thanks for the help gents. I couldn't get to this until we're out of office hours on the weekend.
Interestingly, I have no mid-call option in my dial-peers. This is a 2951 running 15.2(4)M2.
I double checked the MRGL, my phone is associated with it.
Codec is G711 on ITSP side, and on phones - I'm not sure I fully understand the use cases for MTP, this is something I need to research more.
I've included two ccsip message debugs, the first one is the existing issue of no audio (in either direction).
The second I've changed the midcall-signaling passthru option, dropping the media-change bit and we get audio in both directions for mobility except we use Unity call handlers for IVR functionality, and now when an inbound caller is forwarded to an extension we get no audio - obviously this is a game stopper.
In Unity I have the port group configured as SCCP - Maybe I should be using SIP instead?
    No Audio:
    voice service voip
    sip
      midcall-signaling passthru media-change
      early-offer forced
      no call service stop
      registration passthrough

  • Calling Australian mobile numbers

What Skype plans allow me to call australian mobile phones.   I will be calling from both Australia and overseas.  My old pay asyou go plan seemed to allow this.   I recently got a 'premium' plan. It does not appear to allow me to call Australian mobile phones.   Please confirm that pay as you go is the only way to call australian mobile phones.   If that is the case can you have two plans on one skpe name -say a pay as you go and a 'premium' and have it work so that the 'premium' time would be deducted if possible and the pay as you go would only be consumed if the call could not be made under the 'premium' plan.  Otherwise I will just have to have two skype names , one under premium and one under pay as you go.
I must say I find the information on what are the call restrictions on the various plans is not easy to find.

Where does it state it is allowed?
The roaming page says what it cost if you are in Bosnia not if you call a mobile there. On the Calling abroad from the UK page (not roaming page). Scroll down to the "Standard call rates", expand it and see Zone 5.
I've been in similar situation when was unable to place a call to Latvia for a week or so (actually, calls to different numbers in Latvia from different operators). I've been on the phone with EE every day, and noone was able to find out what's wrong (starting from standard "reboot your phone" etc to level 3 tech). Only at the end of the week one of the CSR found out that calls to Latvia were barred acros whole network without any notice/info/reason. Long story short - accepted £61.50 compensation.

  • Calling a mobile phone in Moscow

If I buy a monthly subscription to call a mobile phone in Moscow, does the person I am calling get charged by their mobile provider? My friend told me she has to pay for incoming international calls on her mobile, but does a call through Skype act as a local call?
    Any help would be appreciated.

If I am not mistaken, the person will NOT be charged when you call him / her .. calling from a computer to a mobile .. x.x what do you think? Check this links also: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/pay-monthly/#UnlimitedEurope & http://community.skype.com/t5/Subscriptions/All-about-subscriptions/td-p/127968 Pleas give Kudos if this helped!
