"Call Activity" task not available in Jdeveloper BPM 11G Beta2 ?

Hi,
The "Call Activity" task is no longer available in Jdeveloper component palette (as of 11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100302.2020.5629)
But this task is still available in BPM Composer (BPM 11G Beta 2 same delivery as Jdeveloper).
We are currently in the modelizaion phase of a Business Process and for the flexibility , lisibilty it's really important for us to use this feature.
Could you provide us a patch or a new version of Jdeveloper where this issue is fixed ?

The Call Activity was removed because this feature is not ready to be released as part of R1. It will return soon! It should also be removed from Process Composer.
In the meantime, the functionality is nearly the same if you use a separate process and call it using the Service activity.

Tried to update to IOS6 and now my ipad is trying to restore -- getting error "activation server not available" help! Have I lost all my video files?

I was trying to do a simple udate of the ios software. I connected to ITunes and the Ipad screen popped up saying there was an update available. I clicked on the update and it started updating and also there was a message saying it was backing up. But then I got a message to click here to complete the update -- with a restore. I did that and now my IPad is n ot woking at all -- I get the initial startup screen and a message that says "your ipad cannot be activated because the activation server is not available" I've tried connecting to itunes and get the same message -- server not available. The devices menu option is grayed out so I cant sync, backup,, restore nothing.... HELP! please! Try restarting everything and then try to sync or reactivate. Quit iTunes, reboot your computer, reboot your iPad and then try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Phone List View: "Call Log" Option Not Available

I recently upgraded from BB 8830 to BB 9630. With the 8830, I was able to display my Call Log on the phone screen, but I can't seem to make it happen with the 9630. According to the User Guide for the 9630, I should be able to change the Phone List View field to "Call Log." However, "Call Log" does not appear in the drop-down list of options on my BB. My choices are Most Recent, Most Used, and Name. What am I missing? Please help!

Display the status of parallel human tasks in ADF web page (BPM 11g)

Hi,
We create a BPMN process (BPM 11g) which splits into parallel branches. Each branch has its own user activity. We want to show the task status of ALL the parallel user activities (running or completed) in the ADF web page implemented for the user activity so the user would have the whole picture of the process.
In another words, we are able to check the status of the component instances associated with the process instance in the Oracle EM. We want to provide the similar information (in our case, we only want to show the status of the human task components) to the user when they access the human task page.
I wonder if the only solution is to write Java code with the API to lookup the BPMN process instance. We try to avoid Java coding if possible. Please advise. Also, so far, I have not found any complete instruction/document on how to access the BPMN process instance and check the tasks etc. through the API. Please help if you know where I could get such information.

11.1.1.6 Task flow call activity is not working intermittently

We have a use case where the first task flow has the af:query with table and when the user searches, we present the results in the table, and when he clicks on any row in the first column, we are using command link to navigate it to the child task flow in the first task flow.
In local, it is working every time, where as in weblogic its failing some times and not showing any kind of errors in logs, and the page freezes and nothing works, even the search.
If anyone of you find this behavior in your use cases, please share any solution or ideas.

We resolved the issue, by removing the panelCollection around the table, i don't know why it is behaving weirdly some times when there is a panelCollection around the table, for now we removed the panelCollection and have kept panelHeader above the table for some toolbar buttons.

And I have another question, can you point me to any links or examples on how to setup log files for each application deployed in a managed server, currently all the applications deployed in a managed server are writing their log messages to the managed-server-name-diagonstic.log file under <domain-home>/servers/<managed-server>/logs.
Now we need separate log files for each application in production.

Tasks not being logged in BPM worklist app for AIAIntegrationAdminUser

Hi all,
As per error handling framework in AIA, i read that whenever a partnerlink error occurs in BPEL process, it goes to the fault policy in the server, performs the action defined in fault policy and then sends erro notification to the role defined in AIAConfigurationProperties.xml.
I have tried the same and put retry as my action in fault policy. My process is getting retried also as per the fault policy defined.
BUt the error notification is not being sent to AIAIntegrationAdminUser. AIAIntegrationAdmin is the defualt role mentioned in the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file.
PLease let me know if I have missed anything.

Your correct, AIAIntegrationAdmin is the default role that all error notifications get sent to. The BPM Worklist Application by default is not enabled. You need to update the AIAConfigurationPropertiers.xml file and update the medata store. The property in the AIAConfiguraitonProperties.xml is called EH.INVOKE.HWF and that needs to be set to true.

Received from Apple new iPhone 4s but can not activate. Screen states activation servers not available. What's next step?

I purchased a new iPhone 4s as a replacement for a 3GS. The phone starts up with configuration, recognizes my home network wi-fi, but for the past 3 days, all I can advance to is the activate your phone screen. I have tried through iTunes, Wi-Fi and cellular and while each has a different wait time initially, in the end it is the can't activate the phone message with the description that the activation servers are unavailable. Considering that the first iPhone 5 will start this process tomorrow, if the servers aren't prepared now, what will be happening to everyone tomorrow? I am in Oklahoma and all of my devices received the updated IOS 6 without problems, but this new phone is just waiting.

When Apple replace an iPhone and the faulty one is locked to a carrier in this case it will be T-mobile ( they do not sell unlocked iPhones) they will replace the iPhone with a locked one to that carrier
So in theory you should have an iPhone locked to T-Mobile
Call Apple and they can tell you if it is locked and to which carrier .
I am also doubtful that a BB sim will work in an iPhone even if unlocked due to BB Messenger

MemoPad & Tasks not available

I have just had to re-install my device os and my carrier installed v5.0 for me.
On connecting it to my pc to reconfigure the organizer sync I could not set up the memopad sync nor the tasks as these modules are not installed.
Previously I would have gone to the Applications tab on the Desktop Manager and installed it from there... however, since the upgrade none of the core modules and applications are showing.
Any idea how I can install these again?

I presume the carrier installed the new OS OTA. I think you will benefit from managing the whole process yourself. The following also includes the removal and reinstalling of DTS to the PC which may also cure the error you have encountered.
This what I did to completely wipe my BB. I wrote this before starting and printed it off.
If your device is functioning, perform a backup now if you haven't already done so saving the file to a place and in a name that you can easily locate on computer.
I then uninstalled DTM and then deleted all other references to BB/Rim in Windows Explorer thus removing the OS for the BB from the computer in order to ensure that the version I would reinstall would be a brand new downloaded version.
Get the latest Desk Top Software (DTS)
http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/?CPID=OTC-DSKTPSW&cp=OTC-DSKTPSW
and install it on the computer.
Get the correct latest version of the OS
http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
and save it to computer.
If the PC does not recognize the BB, You need to connect the via the USB cable. Then pull the battery from the BB.
With the battery pulled, connect the BlackBerry to the USB connector and as SOON as you see USB-PIN:UNKNOWN hit Next. You have to be quick. From there you can put the battery back in (make sure you install the battery or else when the OS update is completing and the device disconnects from the computer to reboot, it will lose the power provided by the USB connection and you will get an error and have to do it all over again!).
If you don't get it right the first time, try again (unplug from USB, pull battery, connect and hit Next while USB-PIN:Unknown is showing). You have to be fast and the timing is key, so it may take you three or four attempts.
To erase all the data on your BlackBerry device, complete the following steps.
1) Download JL_Cmder from http://www.4shared.com/get/oqP9V-2Q/JL_Cmder_v19.html
2) Install JL_Cmder to computer.
3) Double check you have already backed-up the BB. If you DO NOT, you will lose ALL data.
4) Make sure the DTS is closed and plug in the BB to computer via USB
5) Go to the JL_Cmder on your computer and double click it to start. Now,this may take a few tries to connect, so keep trying until it does.
6) On the first screen, Press any key to continue.
7) Now, if your device uses a password, enter it now. If not, press "N"
8) Press 4 to initiate the WIPE
9) Press "Y" to continue
10) Now type "blackberry" to continue
11) On the BB you will see a white screen with a'507' Error. Don't worry, this is what you want! You are now ready to install the OS.
Launch the new Desk Top Software on the computer
1). On the home screen of the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, click Device > Update my device.
2). Click View Other Versions. Click the version of the new OS you previously downloaded.
3). Click Install. The DTM will install the OS and then provide you with a list of applications to install. If you have had difficulties with an app, do not install it.
Do not disconnect the device until the whole process is completed and the device has rebooted.
After 10 minutes reboot again by removing the battery whilst powered-on and leave it out for a couple of minutes.
Leave it again for 10 minutes. You should now have a fully functioning BB!

Check for .dll files

Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Editing a PDF file is not possible in Adobe Reader. You need Acrobat to do that type of thing.

Activity Journal not available in MSA

Hi,
Can someone please advise how to replicate AJs to mobile. Created an Activity Journal Template Type, assigned a Template, released it and I'm able to see the Activity Journal in the Maintain Activities transaction in CRM-Online, using the corresponding Transaction Type of MSA. But when I download the activity to mobile, I cannot see it attached to the activity.

did you already check the local IDES database - table smodotdef?
Anyway there were lots of filters valid for displaying journals along with activities, e.g.:
- validity date (check activity date!)
- process type (must fit with activity type)
- distribution channel defined for template (check distribution channel of activity e.g. from related business partner)

Heap debugger not available in JDeveloper 10.1.3

I'm trying to use the heap usage debugger in JDeveloper. However, when I try to look at the heap usage when pausing the debugger (View -> Debugger -> Heap) the Heap option is always greyed out. I am using jdeveloper 10.1.3.4.
